uhm GS and range weapon, curently using GS/rifle, and id like an “universal” build not the ones that people come up on this forum and wait for clearance if its good or not from x number of people, id like something that lets say its used by a good number of players:)

I just got back to GW2 after a break, and well since the new april patch i have a dificult time finding trait builds for GS, unless they are everywhere and im really bad at searching, still what traits do you suggest for warr GS? i dont really know what im looking for in terms of build, so for a begginer/medium level player what would be good? still i would prefer to be able to take a few hints before dieing helplessly:))

looking for both pvp and pve builds also GS/ranged wep(using rifle atm)

How can i make enemies or enviroments ground target show? like a red circle which i should not be in cause they dont appear to me:( i have enabled fast ground targeting in option but still doesnt appear:( cant do scarlets playhouse cause i cant see where bombs land:( pls help

I like the living story and stuff coming from GW1, we had event with char, humans, asura, not sure if norn(dont remember any) when will there be anything sylvari related? i know alot dont like sylvari yet alot still do like them, any living story event about them from gw1 that i can wait?

agree it’s not that hard to place in the first 3 places, to be first u need to know how to use the skills, but u must admit thakittens a bit buggy, especially with the purple teleporattion skills which sometimes randomly throws u off the platform(without a trap skill being planted there), happened to me several times, oh and the falling penalt is too kitten severe…

Wouldn’t you guys like to be able to save a skin you want to change? for example you have a jade dragon skin on a weapon, now u got the zenit skin, and u want to apply it to your all time use weapon, but not loosing the jade one. wouldn’t that be a good add?

ok so now i got my greatsword (which stats i dont want to change) with the jade dragon skin, now i got the zenith skin, how can i put zenith skin on my all time use greatsword and still keep the jade skin? (same with other future skins)?

I’m a bit annoyed seeing how many people use this “kitten” word and i dnot know what it means nor how it integrates along with most cases it is used in, can someone clarify what it means please?

again with the housing system, but not many have ideas about it, at least i havent seen any, here are mine, you could also put more if you want, maybe we’ll make the dev’s notice this and make future plans;)

4. maybe even hire npc like vendors/crafting npc’s/crafting tables/ mini mystic forges/black lion npc inside the house, of course, some of the more special npc’s would be more expensive or be like gem store items, like the mini forge and black lion npc’s

5. maybe have a mini garden/mine/tree’s which we can plant and have them grow from time to time, yea sure this could be exploited but im sure arenanet guys could nerf it so it cant be exploited

6. maybe some fun minigames that you guys could come up for the host and visiting friends could play

7.(not mine) a pet area for 4-5 favorite mini’s

anyway these are just ideas which im 100% sure would make the game even more unique, im sure it wont be easy tho i think everyone would love to have a home of their dreams:)

Will they ever have better stats then a 995-1100 exo? for all the godamm hard work it needs it sure better get upgraded…

i’ve never liked wow, nor it’s graphics nor it’s comunity, the fact that a legenadary costs so much on tp and needs a kittenload of work to get just to look somehow, which isnt really THAAAT cool,isnt worth it, it should do more then just be a skin.Period.

Why do people keep saying about the home instance of each race? thats not what i meant, these homes instances are more like >RACE home BASE<, im talking about A PLAYERS OWN PERSONAL HOME, LIKE AN APARTMENT or A HOUSE!:) where he can do random stuff, just for kittens and giggles and maybe a bit of material gathering (just a bit tho), giving him the feel of depth and atachment towards his character

Personally i believe housing shouldnt be done in an open world because come no, it would be a remake of the whole maps plus the maps are good they way they are, housing SHOULD be done as instance, and the houses would be listed in a TAB containing diff information

A good example of game that has this feature is ArcheAge (wildstar too but the archage looks more realistic then the cartoony wildstar, yet the concept is there and its awesome) imagine what GW2 could achieve with this feature?

Personally i’ve played TONS of MMO’s, and i do think ArenaNet is one of the few that somewhat listens to its comunity and engages with it, of course dont expect doing everything the comunity wants becasue most ppl say they want this and that but dont think on the consequence on the game, which the creators would know best

So housing should be done in instance mode and as customizable as it can be, MAYBE no the building of it itself, you coud have like 5 style sylvaru house but the furnashing and coloring is done by you, i think this would also be enough of variations for a start before going FULL customizable

personally i see warriors beeing the free kills in pvp, they barely do anything before they are taken down, the survivability of mersmers and rangers for example are way to high despite the dmg a warior can do which is mostly done only if warrior is face to face kissing the other players…so yeah most powerfull classes in pvp got buffed,,,yipidee duu daah

Underwater weapons have their own sigils, are you sure you’re using weapons underwater with the same sigil?

Two things that should already be in the game but for some reason they aren’t and would be quite helpfull for like 85% of the players would be:

1. to be able to link the items directly from TP or to at least have the code of the item in the description (would prefer first option tho)

2. to give the player the ability to see his collectibles without the need of the bank/crafting area, he should be able to see his coletibles anytime, anywhere, button could be plased in the Hero tab, this would be very helpful when gathering the materials for crafting

It is against the ToS to loan your game account to anyone. Dispute of ownership is the very reason for this rule. You may or may not be able to recover control of your account, (you probably would be able to) but if your friend had sufficient information to cause doubts about ownership, the account would be permanently disabled. yes i trust my friend, but still i like to be cautious and would really like to let him try a little, i dont see what would hurt if I am the one who agrees with this, despite wanting to have a guarantee that i can recover whatever would happen:)

Ok, let’s say i want to let a good friend use my account, BUT in case we would end up in a fight and lets say he would change my password, could i (the owner of the game,cd’s and code) be able to recover my account and rechange the password to something i know?

One possible reason is a corrupt cache, where it thinks it has the proper files, but it doesn’t. As a result, you end up with a partially loaded TP.

To clear the cache, close the game and open your local temporary file folder:
%localappdata%\temp

The full path is:
Vista/7: c:\users\your user name\appdata\local\temp\
XP: c:\documents and settings\your user name\localsettings\temp\

Search the folder for a folder that starts with gw2cache. Within that folder should be a icudt.dll and a data folder that contains Cookies and a Cache folder. Since the folder is created when you start the game (if it doesn’t exist), simply delete the entire gw2cache folder.

If you have a program that blocks websites, the scripts that aren’t loading may be being blocked. In this case, you’ll need to modify how you’re filtering websites.

I never saw a post about this so i guess it is just me, 90% of the time i open my BLT the buy and sell stuff wont load…like at all no matter what i do and i get this bug since i got the game which was like in november 2012

i know its bugged by looking at the gems icon, if its “…” and not a number then its 100% bugged, will never load, not even if i restart the game 100 times, or if i open another tab of BLT, it will simply be bugged forever…

any help please?

20 – heigtened focus and sig mastery

I get adrenaline really easily with crits, switch to rifle to pop my kill shot and volley, switch back to gs and easily regain full adrenaline, rinse and repeat. This is also good in dungeons. When I’m taking too much hits with melee, just switch to rifle and still deal decent damage.

also, between 48s-cd sig of rage and FGJ, I can practically keep fury up for that +20% crit.

Now you know what gear you need and build, good luck out there, upgrade your gear to 80 even if its blue, green or yellow if you cannot afford exotic.

Probably a silly question but, do you have level 75-80 gear? I’ve been on SE explorable runs and the ele pinged his gear and he was in level 50-60 green gear and dieing every pull to crappy mobs my warrior was 2 hitting with 1 skill

Not really needed IMO, you can team with people and enter personal story with them and help them out around the world by being in a party. However I do agree that by helping people do a personal story should reap some kind of reward for you… Even if its just karma. As it stands at the moment, if you help someone do a personal story mission you get nothing for it except for whatever items you loot from enemies… Which doesn’t really encourage players to assist others.

So even if its a bit of xp and some karma, it’s better than what we get now!

So my first char was a sylvary warrior, which in the endgame sucked very bad since i couldnt even solo a kitten karka:))

here is what i put in trait and would like you to tell me what i did wrong?
(was wielding GREATSWORD)

Strength 20 V- Berseker power: Increased damaged based on built adrenaline (3%/7%/12%)
IX- Slashing power: Greatsword and spear damage increse 10%

Arms 10 V- Rending Strikes:33% chance to get vulnerability on critical strikes

Defense 20 IV- Vigorous Return: Increase HP on rally
I – Embrace pain: Gain adrenaline when hit

Tactics 20 III- Desperate power: deal 20% additional damage when below 25% max hp
II – empower allies: increase power of nearby allies by 70 points

Warriors don’t suck, indeed as far as PvE are concerned they are the golden child…

You just need to sort your build out, go to warriors forum and you will soon faceroll everything in PvE and carry a party through AC dungeon…

but idk what class to choose, first time i was warrior but since it was first char in this game it got to suck as a warrior, but it doesnt bother me doing it again

what im looking for is a class good for pve all the time even in endgame(with my first i barely solo-ed karka -_-" with a warrior…), be good in dungeons and im not big fan of pvp but i ocasinoally do that so:) , and dont like WvW so it doesnt need to be good for that

knowing your class is easily to do by testing in PVP (all skills unlock)
And guild community is also very common.

or you maybe mean a tutorial look-a-like (mendor are npc?)

i mean another pleayer who is like your teacher, helps you in game with tips, maybe items or materials and the game rewards both mentor and aprentice for diff stuff:)

Wouldn’t a mentoring system benefit new players? so they wont start doing everything and putting effort just so at the end they find out they char sucks and can barely do anything with it?

some game have this system and both mentor and aprentice get rewards, like for geting to certains lvl’s, doing stuff together with mentor, getting buffs when both mentor and aprentice ar eonline, achievements and stuff like that:)

Ok so i’ve played my first char as a warrior, im a completionist so i started donig the whole map (around 70%), and i got to lvl 80…to find out that my build sucks, as a warrior i cant even solo one frikking karka…which is sad…if i barely do pve, pvp is kinda obvious…and i dont want to start everything from scracth again…when i played ppl were so bad at dungeons taht i barely found a good party with which i could do AC, frikknig AC was so hard to do that we always died, so idk what to do to enjoy this game, i know there are lots of stuff i didnt do, but if the char sucks i dont think i can enjoy it…it kinda hurts to see your char suck after such a time…at first it didnt but when if i need the good stuff, like legendaries and harder dungeons…well i couldnt keep the phase, since the char is useless….if you have any suggestions please help me:)

i hope the GW2 teams isnt ignoring us, this doesnt look like something that needs somuch time fixing:(
