in a local store ive seen the box as cheap as £20 amazon has new boxs at £26
it’s cheap enough and will prob drop more as shops try to shift there old stock

so personally i dont see the point in a insaneily cheap version with stuff missing when the box with everything will soon be as cheap

games ive played in the past if they had a booth at a show would offer an incentive to visit them at the show
and
theres always people that visit the booths and sell the code on amazon or ebay

its pointless for a studio to say exclusive to x show then put it on there store
people will just wait instead of visiting the booths and giving feedback / watching the talks etc

when doing orr (if i have to) i just guest on a popular server but ive not been there for at least 2months i live in starting area’s doing dailys and the odd dragon event
also with new game releases population will rise and fall as people try out the new shiny Nwno came out recentily

if someone said i was banned and im useing this account to say it

they’d lose the dummy account cause its against the rules of pritty much every game ive ever played to side step the original (perma) ban and if there x time banned they cant post anyway till its over (prob would want to keep there heads low)

without a dev giving numbers or the actual guidelines (doubtful to ever happen)
you will never know

i also doubt any players that dumb to want to lose there other accounts for x time period and want there hands smacked that badily
(there are people that charge less than the box price for such services)

if…if there was hand smacking going on it’d be for x hours 72hrs as a numbers been thrown around in the past but for afk’ing naw doubt it only people that got banned…banned was the exploiters from the start

i personally viewed people reporting afk’ers as a bot a pointless waste of supports time
they prob have a if people report y for x amount then it’ll get a support workers ticket to be looked into cause i doubt support could keep up with it if its one report at a time and if the system was flooded with false reports….no future nice things for you

2,537hrs 52mins over the past 9 months

slowed down my playing over the past few weeks while playing other games but still log in for the daily and the odd dragon event

im the same but ive played lots of games and currentily playing afew others besides gw2 like champion online and gw1 and im attached to what ive created in those games…

gw2 ill gladily throw them at a wall…respawn…repeat other games id be more protective and use tactics

i dont know why i feel this way got world complete on all 8 in gw2 so i got to know each char and create a backstory

if my account got wiped of the 8 id prob recreate 2
but only cause there good at killing in events/gathering in orr

ive always found in games the memories are built from the people (guild)around you
i dont really have fond memories of a mission but i do rember guild mates messing about in missions…dancing on your mates corpse after a battle for example

im always watching the monastery for the pre-event and if no one does it ill do the ettin portal also (on my server no one does the ettins portals) then run back to sb even on my slowest char (my mesmer) has plenty of time to get back

The people swamp watching or in shatters case turret polishing (collection part) are new and dont know theres pre-events or just cant be bothered and just want the yellow

if its the cant be bothered i shout out the events or ask for help if no one comes and theres lots in the swamp/turrets ill let the charr escort die and watch the kegs get stolen

then watch chat as they complain that no one ever does the events but still stand there doing nothing they know some idiot will do it for them so why bother themselves

one time i watched a huge swamp appreciation group moan till the timer ran out then complained bout the website timer

if a part needed buffing (if) id say the portals that open at SBs base (feet) given a bit more hp as the minions dont get time to live long enough to do anything fore the portals are closed

in gw1 they are shiny but that was on humans only model how badily would capes glitch on the charr’s body frame in gw2

i personally would never use a cape in gw2 mainily due to all the itemskins available now for that back slot

if it was do you want the gw1 wings (think it was something to do with aion)
id say who’s arm i need to rip off those feathered wings would look nice on my guardian or necro

not everyone likes to pvp

im terrible at pvp so i ran round pressing 1 when someone wasnt running circles round me and faceplanting often end result i got called a leech by afew in mapchat and reported

i tried but really i dont care.im not a pvper..got my 20 wont go back

Ive had the same thing happen to me few days back

i do alot of the chest events straight after the reset but its only happened once so far
while i did sunless i got gold and received the silver coins but no chests
i didnt take note of the rewards to see if it was the old DR BUG THAT BECAME THE FEATURE we now use

id done shatter before and wurm after and gotten the chest but i do park my sunless character in one spot for the sole purpose of killing sunless its why i thought DR but i shrugged said kitten it and killed the next boss

if it happens again make a note ofthe karma /money received etc and bug it im expecting this thread to be moved to the bug section

one thing i really miss from coh is global channels
you’d choose what channel Taskforces, bases or just a guild alliance channel

in my bank ive got roughily 300 yellow transstones that ill never use (i have 1 of every class) and earned the things faster than i could waste them and i did try to get rid of them from lvl one upwards i transmuted everything every 4-5 levels

i can understand getting 3 yellow transstones for low areas but later on id even settle for a chest key over the stones and im swiming in boosters ill never use

i used to get by lvl 80 5 fine trans stones and id buy the other 5 but ive not found any doing world complete for awhile (think chests had them but cant rember)

id really like to see there marketing list of top sellers
id bet the fine stones is in the top 3 most bought along with chest keys

ok…you looked at the warrior patch notes but did you look at the boosts to minions/events

you didnt say whats owning your warrior

explorers power/pres/%MF your glass
you have afew options as i said

spend some karma on a throwaway power/vit/toughness temple set
buy a cheap set of armor and see if the new armor boosts you

load your build onto a website and ask for help on the warrior section

i know the dead in orr have been tweaked so it also depends on what your farming for the mats events in orr have champions mixed in…nobles hurt if you stand still abominations charge etc etc

the dead have been tweaked (made more “fun”) so it depends on what mobs are owning you

i can only suggest buying a green/yellow set and seeing if its the MF
buy a supior sigil of luck buy MF food and see if theres a diffrence with the new set
(i switch to my MF sword till it stacks to 25) and i get lots of mat drops
other option is
re-looking at your build (owning 4 mobs on a warrior is alow-low benchmark)

Bots just pop up right infront of you smack dab in the middle of the node and glitch
i take a picture and if they port straight away i look up the pic add them to friend report block move on

id rather just report and let xp sort um out

i do the daily every day (i dont do the monthily)
only one that used to make me go outta my way to complete was the kill x vets in x location but i know where the vets spawn in mass

i used to do the dailys for the coins (used to sell for 10s now 5s) and the karma.
since then coins have fallen in price and im swimming in karma (i buy the odd ring/backpiece)and im not bothered about ascended stuff so laurals are just a bonus

i dont need the rewards like i used to but its a daily goal its something to do besides farm x map for x item

when the daily first changed i was worried (that first days combo fields was a nasty shock) but after being in queensdale and watching chat it serves as a good way to get people to try food/crafting etc that they wouldnt normally

southsun cove (i think is the one you refering to) is still changing and is a part of the living story refugees so you might get to see kittens and lollipop trees there yet

on the exploding risen you refering to the fail ones in the sunless event?
theres a smaller version in orr already there surrounded by green and run at you dont see them that often (think there in straits) or prob just dont notice them.. there as pointless as the sunless version

i used to really hate orr before they tweaked it…now
i just dislike 2 things in cursed shore

champion noble that protects a sp (i can dodge him if i climb up the right side wall and wait for him to pass) if he sees me im dead

the maze sp theres a fish that spits poison coupled with the 2 vets (one of which is genrally the sp veteran someone summoned and left) if you touch the fish you get swarmed

otherwise i can solo everything where as before id be running for my life dragging minions behind me while dodging other peoples trains

only advice i can give on the statues is guest prob get flamed for saying it but it does make life easyier if your server dont open the temples often

if going afk climb a tower as most of the places will get swarmed by the dead etc
but that advice goes for everywhere in the game i see alot of people going afk on the 1st floor in what they thinks a safe town and coming back to a naked character

if i wanted open world pvp (corp vs corp)
id be in EVE but im not soooo

open world guild vs guild would be like what happens in eve…big guilds picking on small guilds till they escape to there alternate back up guild to escape the big bad

race wont matter…youve gotta watch it for x hours go with what you like
AT’s id choose if i was mad enough to try

thief for the multiple stealths / blinds and there quick moving once traited for quick getaways….
or
mesmer 2 stealths for get away / sneaking past vets / champs
throw a clone or 2 at a guarding vet and click the sp ive gotten away with it afew times but not always there safe but slowww moving

guardian might work sp with a vet you could hit aegis and hope youve not collected more adds

i dont know engineers but on my ele / warrior lol i dont dodge stuff i melt it

on the skillpoints you’d need to at least hit it once…..you can dent it and run next person to do the sp that completes the kills it’ll give you the sp and medal but can be a long wait its best just to attempt to finish

like paulytnz ive gotten 5 with world complete working on my 6th (also a thief) and at lvl 80 im roughily 70% complete

way i complete the zones i have a list of every zone and there level and i work down it im currentily on my thief lvl 53 in fields of ruin (30-40 zone) 48% complete
im always behind
so
if the question was could you stay near the lvl of the zones as you level…yes you could but i think it’d be annoying and slow you would have to go thru the game not doing events (unless it speeded up completion of the hearts) and not touch a node

orr cursed shore would be brutal (maze sp and the sp guarded by the champion noble)
so itd depend on how low were talking…how low are you thinking -5 anything more and the nobles alone would eat you

Theyve transfered to get easy pickings theyll move back on the 3rd or 4th
i wouldnt get to excited just yet

what i was expecting is people would split between servers and farm each other for titles in a quiet spot of WvW

it’ll be an intresting to see how many of the transfers stick around
and how many have transferd to make a point in WvW

and left the PK’ers all alone on the other side then buried there left over stones in the bank

i personally wished the pvp in gw2 would have been more like DAOC but that might be more rose tinted glasses as the pve side was lacking
