In its current form deadeyes mark can’t be refreshed which makes malice quite bad for longer fights as it constantly needs to be built up again, to fix this there are multiple ways:
1. make deadeye’s mark refresh the duration and keep you at 7 stacks which could make it quite strong if not to strong
2. grant a 15 or 21% modifier depending on traits when deadeyes mark runs out that gets reduced by 3% for each malice stack you build so you could sustain a steady modifier after initial buildup (kinda like trickery)
other than that the spec looks quite promising for pve raids/fractals
We’re made note of these inconsistencies and will be standardizing all boss damage auras alongside the next raid release.
Check the raid patch-notes for details at that time.
Can you make all damage auras unblockable then? That would at least give aegis some reason to exist.

What the… Do people on the Thief forum actually play Thief, or even Guild Wars 2 for that matter? No. Channeled vigor does not heal you for twenty-one thousand health. While it is the highest potential heal Thief has, the whole point of the class is to avoid damage, not soak it up.

“perma reveal” only lasts til first time gliding because the reveal on landing overwrites the “perma” one nice programming right there :’D
D/D deadeye will at least be a viable pick for raids with 7 malice it has a 21% modifier while trickery D/D only has 15% and if you go for the might share you still have 15% + might for 10 people
One thing I would really like to see in Tuesdays revamp is the swapping of leeching venoms with the Revealed training trait. This just makes SO much sense.
Assuming such done I can see taking SA with DE and CS.

re-clears should just drop t6 bags 2-5 of them per boss cause they are needed for legendary armor anyways and droping materials doesn’t inflate the economy which seems to be anets main concern

If you’re using Stealth to proc Reveal then you could still use RT in Shadow Arts line where it makes more sense and gain the added benefits to stealth that it gives. I don’t use Stealth with Venoms so the rest of the new SA tree never applies to me.
Also; Life Leech = DPS increase.

With the next patch we most likely will get a balance patch and living story at once, so it would be nice to at least know what we can expect from class changes to theory craft possible impacts of them.

druid tank can be a failsafe in case your tank dies for example on xera. Last week our tank failed gliding and i used +toughness food to take over on zerk druid so it should be np to do on more tankier setups you just heal against the damage and evade the big hits.
just wait for the next balance patch the ability to split skills more easily between gamemodes might end up getting thief buffed to a point where it is better single target dps than ele. Or well just nerf ele :^)
reaper is ok just keep one projection alive stack up condis on it and then transfer them to KC with epidemic
Raids might be fun,learning all of the mechanics and defeating all 3 wings might be fun,doing that over again might be fun,but the more you do it the less fun it will become.and grinding out 150 insights for months will extract all pleasure from this raid for most people.
how are you to decide whats fun for other people, especially when you said that you dont even raid yourself but buy your clears. smh
so lets say they would implement “story” mode compared to dungeon story mode how many times would you do it? not to mention that certain tweaks might affect the normal mode of the raid due to anets famous spaghetti code

I really don’t get the problem, they said you will have enough once legendary armor is released and seeing how people already have 150 insights since yesterday and the armor isn’t released yet it seems like a reasonable number to me. Also giving us 4 months time to get the 3k gold worth of materials seems fair to me, because like that you don’t really have to grind anything and the armor will just build itself lol.
I also don’t see how 2h a week are considered a grind have you guys ever played a mmo where you actually had to grind to get something?

It is 450 gold that is 100 (~9gold per crafting process, output of 2 portals each) watch work portals and in line with most other permanent items and twice as much as an other popular toy (executioner’s axe). Even your argument about the price is wrong.

asking for a reasonable cooldown to make the item useable (even for mesmers cause they would save an utility slot) doesn’t seem “want to feel special”. How about we add 30min cooldowns to all other permanent items to streamline the experience?

Yes it might take you longer if you can’t get 9 kills a week, so what?
This is a legendary armor, a supposed sign of prestige which on top offers no actual bonuses besides fancyness whatsoever (no I don’t count stat-swapping as a plus as long as there’s no free rune-swapping along with it lol), so why do you feel like you have to get it asap? It’s a MMO, some things aren’t just given out straight away. And I wouldn’t even consider this much of a grind despite how long it is stretched out, you don’t spend those weeks constantly farming raids to make progress.

And why not just auto unlock the skins for all 3 armor classes after finishing crafting the legendary armor? Isnt 17 weeks time gate for 1 set enough? 17*3=51 weeks of doing all 9 boss encounters
Well timegate is somewhat over already by next week i will reach 150 insights, unlocking all sets at once would be nice but thats kind of a stretch to unlock 18 legendary skins at once.
Which , as funny as it may sound in the ears of some people, is pretty much spot on the grind they seek to escape in the open world.^^
In raids i can play with the people i want to play with, in openworld im forced to play with randoms. Also i have to use more than 1 brain cell to do raids which makes them way more enjoyable
im waiting for legendary armor craft the whole set and tell people i dont have insights, if they kick me i will just ping em my full set :’D
if you aren’t 166 by now or dont put in the effort to get at least the bare minimum needed for raids you aren’t the target audience.
