Honestly, I for instance got bored with druid in pvp the moment they removed cleric amulet ^^ . Been running power ever since.
Beastly Warden instead of Zephyr’s Speed with 2 birds is also fun.
Try something like this if you want to incorporate some healing power. Feel free to change soldier stats into berserker or marauder ones.
Carrion Devourer and Marsh Drake <3 .
Krytan Drakehound – Mobile Immobilize
Smokeskale – Dymauke
Bristleback – Szczelauke
Poles will undrestand those two .
Raven – Second Eyes
Wolf – Second Nose
Hyena – Double Team
Carrion Devourer – Poison Field
Marsh Drake – Bleah
Jungle Stalker – Mighty Might
Jungle Spider – Webby
Shark – Frenzy
Rabid bleed build ^^ . With axe 3 and 2 + bristle smoke assault and staff chain it’s kinda 30 stacks in seconds. Most ppl won’t even notice one condition on them.
If we are talking about physical damage, standard glyph buffer is what you seek http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vNAQNBjYD7keVomVsgVwVFgoVssHYL3uAwoDOueX3rMXgA2IA-TBSBAB5dQAuS5HAPBgHuAAUq+De6eMTJ4T7PQKgI2aB-e .
What Tragic posted. If the party has no PS warr, herald or no1 cares about stacking might, just take jungle stalker instead of tiger and swap axe to warhorn and you are good. Also, swap the Glyph of Equality for Empowerment and Healing Spring for Alignment. Staff is useless, go longbow. With 4 glyphs you will pack enough healing. Moment of Clarity in my opinion is also useless, better to have the heal from Alignment. Take Steady Focus.
Stats are all berserker with Delicious Rice Ball and Sharpening Stone.
And remember! If you see another ranger in and fractal/dungeon running any other signet than Signet of the Wild (which itself is a minor self dmg buff), kick him/her from party, block, report, whatever just to make him suffer… Doesn’t apply to the Signet of the Hunt on wisps phase in Swampland .
I never played daredevil, just the thief for a little bit, but in PvE, so I don’t know their rotations etc at all.
Using this http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vNAQJAWRnUqA9Ci1CCOsActglOBDelGT3pPtgBwCzpvFAKclMtzA-TVRWwAk0FMQ5XQ1fAs/gElgkCwrpWA-w build.
Any tips how to counter the ever dodging kittens?
Axe and warhorn! They look great together.
Well, all trapper builds are traited very much alike.

In this I use rune set that gives the most condition duration one can achieve without expertise. Also, accessories are Apothecary to procent more from the almost premanent regeneration and Avatar. Most dangerous game is a huge damage boost. I prefer to use it instead of Quick Draw couse I don’t believe it works with non stationary targets. One can switch Expertise Training for Oakheart Slave for that extra 5% damage reduction.

For PvP try something like that.
Give me bleeding on chain skills and I’m happy.

I’m using a bit more bunkish build. Works very good in high lvl fractals and open PvE in maguma. I just stand in trap AoE and spam Avatar skills ^^ .
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vNAQRAnY8fjMqQ7K2tCmrAVLGSEqPAi9Xvvgd9D4FozD9CWlA-TJhGABLVGAgnAAJ7PQ8JBAA
1v1 with DH is always a win if you don’t get cought in the elite trap. Revenant is 50/50.
I was using carrion trapper before HoT.
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vNAQRAnY8fjMqQ7K2tCmrAVLGSEqPAi9Xvvgd9D4FozD9CWlA-TJhGABLVGAgnAAJ7PQ8JBAA
After HoT I’m using Settler Trap Druid. Sometimes I change undead runes for durability if I want more HP. Main problem with this build is restoring astral force after they kill you 3v1 :/ .
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vNAQRAnY8fjMqQ7K2tCmrAVLWcEM4k6UNr28tiVVAmAwk7yVyKOD-TJhGABTVGYm9HA4JAQ8JBAA
In my opinion smokescale was good only with Smoke Assault on F2 :P .
I was using drakes for some time, they are good. Maybe gonna go for the Reef Drake or Bristleback, thanks guys for the contribution.
Hey guys, I’ve got a problem choosing pet for my build. Which pet now has the best damage to use with this build? And am I correct that pets condition damage doesn’t stack with my own? So is it better to use non condi pets?
Ok, a problem.
Doing lvl 37 FotM, last boss. Placing frost, storm and fire spirits. They don’t buff constantly, don’t know why. When placing them in Lion’s Arch buffs do come constantly. I watched party UI, others didn’t get the buffs also. Any1 knows why is it happening?
Are the spirits bugged and their range in combat is way lower than 1000, or is it only my imagination? Couse it looks like in combat range goes to 360 :/ .
Thx for the info. And you have a Jade Kraken Time Mote described wrongly. It says it’s scale 10 while it’s actually scale 20.
Yeah, the same problem. Druid in HotM.
Well, it seems that the collection is bugged at the moment. I got all skins and it only shows 13/19.
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vNAQRAnY8fjMqQ7K2tCmrAVLGSEqPAi9Xvvgd9D4FozD9CWlA-T1RHABBcEAcT/Ajq/88+D3pEEgDCwRK/IFAMTjA-w
Dire Trapper – after HoT just gonna drop the beastmastery line for Druid and switch accessories into apothecary ones. Almost perma swifftness with https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Natural_Stride gonna be nice. And ancient seeds will be kinda op ^^ . We’ll see how the new maps will work for roamers.
I’m just gonna change one of the specializations from my Dire trapper into druid line, and then change dire trinkets into apothecary. Sword/Torch + Axe/Dagger and relay on celestial form for healing .

My roaming and pvp build right now. Beastmastery line works rly well now. Birds can hit hard when stacked with might. Reduced cooldowns on LB and GS. Shame they put the Moment of Clarity in the same tier as Brutish Seals, but I can menage. Enlargement can be a godsend in some fights. Skirmishing taken basicaly only for the Quick Draw, but the bleeding buffs ones dps pretty nice.
Where did you find that key?
I’m 99% sure I’ve found the entrance, but where now, I don’t know. The entrance seems to bo on the bridge.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Skill
Guardian got traps, mesmer wells, necromancer shouts. Imo durid will get stances or minions, and staff will get marks or wards.
This seems to work for me. Imagine warding an enemy in place and calling a couple of ravens to bleed him. Or a jungle wurm working like necro flesh wurm.
Yeah I was thinking about geomancy myself for a bit, but then I’ve found that most of the time I wasn’t just hitting the enemy with it. Torment ain’t a go, couse it’s only 1 stack and I like my immobilizes to much. Blight it’s a waste, I already got a huge poison uptime. Shame that Air and Fire depend on the power. what about the Mischief, any1 used it? Does it even hit the enemy?
So, recently I started to use this very build http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fNAQRBHfxG2IhKds2yiNLUtGwQoa3CBbJwKAcHvvwVXwqG-T1RHABGp8rQ1fA4kKgm+nQ2fw2nUQUKBJFAMTjA-w in both WvW and PvP, works like charm for me. But I don’t really know what sigils to use on main hands. Doom stays like it is, no question, but I’d like to change the Malice to something usefull. Any advices?
Spirits should work like necromancer minions do, die when killed, not after 60 seconds. Underwater cast time is faster than ground one. I don’t really see a point in changing the cast time, but both underwater and ground should be the same. And unbound spirits entering water and vice versa shouldn’t die, just like minions. That being said, in my opinion, guardian spirit weapons and elementalist elementals should also work like minions. And spirits should follow on default. Cheers ^^ .
After downloading the newst patch, I can’t start the game. I’m logging in, and after hitting “Play” screan goes black for a second, and then nothing happens. Game is not showing in task menager after hitting play. Delating local.dat and rapairing the game doesn’t work. Any ideas?
Edit: Works fine on laptop. Didn’t install any drivers etc., no idea what’s cousing it.

From my experience on this build in 1v1 situations:
Other rangers – if you get in range with power LB, you win. Condition builds 50/50, unless with sword, that will kill you.
Elementalists – dd cele ele kills you, df and sf should kill you, rest die to you.
Thieves – if you see a thief coming at you, it’s 50/50, if he jumps you, he wins.
Warriors – full zerker that pops Berserker Stance at the beggining should kill you. Every other builds should die. Hambow is annoying, shoutbow cele takes ages to kill.
Necromancers – MM dies to entangle, power builds kill you only in DS or Lich Form. Terrormancer will kill you if you can’t break the fear.
Guardians – I never died to a guardian if I didn’t make a mistake.
Mesmers – dodge the Phantasmal Berserker and you win. If they pop Polymorph Moa they should kill you.
Engineers – turreteer will kill you. Bunkers take ages to kill, but they shouldn’t be a problem.

4 immobilizes on that build. If he was on stone spirit, there could be even 5.
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fNAQNAV3fjEq0xaLL2sQ1aADhqdLEslArAwdN8CXdJrIK-TJRFwAAeCARLDg4iAka/BA
Same with the LB build, just switch Lighting Reflexes for Muddy Terrain.
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fNAQJATRjEq0ya/KOsQ1ag+ga9DEAjdrfg9/+BdQJrIK-TJBFwACeCA02foaZAAXCAA
Or something like this http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fNAQJATRjEq0ya/KOsQ1ag+ga9DEAjdrfg9/+BdQJrIK-TJBFwACeCA02foaZAAXCAA. Pew pew is every power build that’s spec’d for Read the Wind.
Like the others said, more serious weapons like Frostfang, Predator or the greatswords, not toys like Quip, Dreamer or Kudzu.
I would be also nice if wielding two legendaries gave a third, combined effect. Just like wielding Frostfang and Howler still leaves the mist on you.
Yup, every1 tweaks their SotF build as they like.
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fNAQNAV3fjEq0xaLL2sQ1aADhqdLEslArAwdN8CXdJrIK-TFSFABA8EAcS5Xjq/ky+DwpbAhDCQWKBT+CAQKAYmGB-w
I run this one when in party, but when I run alone, I switch the Sharpened Edges to Keen Edge and take the Signet of the Hunt for 25% speed.
As krixis said. Destroyable armor imo is a good thing and should remain as it is.
#Hate #Congrats #WhereIsMine
The masteries would be like “double the chance to get weapon skin drop”. But close to zero is still close to zero.
#Three2Go
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/2tsiox/pax_afterparty_lessons_learned/ – no polearms for sure.
And no1 said that we won’t get more that one weapon, or ability to change the skills on them . Off-hand sword and main-hand dagger for ranger, and ability to change the sword chain in that of warrior
.
PS. I just hope elementalists only get the main-hand warhorn.
Anet probably got everything worked up already, so the wish list has nothing to do. But they could change the spirits so they work like minnions – follow in default and die when killed, not on 60 second cooldown. Of course that would mean changing the the lesser elementals and spirit weapons to work the same, so people who play elementalits and guardians won’t feel omitted.
Just change the chain and 2nd skill to that of warriors and I’m happy.
In last two weeks I got 6 skins from level 50. Sadly only one I haven’t before. I’m doing lvl 50 daily for 5 months now, and in these 5 months I got 8 skins. So for me the drop was increased ^^ .
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fractals_of_the_Mists#Rewards Tonic is 41+.
I use the same pets, traits, utilities, weapons and sigils on PvP and WvW zerk ranger. I only run different runes. And of course in PvP you got the amulet, not armor.
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fNAQJATRjEq0ya/KOsQ1ag+ga9DEAjdrfgdG8BdQJrIK-TJBFwACeCA02foaZAAXCAA
I like the changes, it’s always something. But apart from the pet changes, I’d really like the spirits to work as necromancer minions. They shouldn’t have a 60 second duration, but vanish only when killed. Of course that would make the Spirit of Nature overpowered, but it’s functionality can always be left like it is. Or make the spirits undead, with the 60 second duration. Or even 3rd option, let them attack like the elementals or minions do. But please, make them more usable or take down the internal cooldown like the frost one.
Critical Chance = (Precision – 832) / 21 -> 100% Critical Chance = 2932 Precision
Fury is a flat +20% crit chance. Spotter gives 150 prec.
So without fury you need 2512 prec. Take the spotter and you get 2362 precision. Now you just need to get the right gear to match that 2362. If I didn’t kitten the math here ^^ . Of course you can just go full assassin, but that takes down your power.
(edited by Pewienpan.5168)
The ones I like most are Frostfang with Howler on my ranger. They look very good together.
Rest in the order (like):
Eternity
Meteorlogicus
Sunrise
The Juggernaut
Rodgort
The Predator
Twilight
The Flameseeker Prophecies
The Bifrost
Dislike:
Quip
The Dreamer
Kudzu (shameeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I’m a ranger and the legendary bows were made for 10 years old girls…)
The rest of them I neither like nor dislike.
