It’s a silly idea to decide not to play any week period if that reason has anything to do with what Tier your WvW is in. I’d rather fight outmanned and outgunned in Tier 3 then do the opposite in Tier 4. I’ve had some awesome fights here in Tier 4 though, nothing against anyone here.

You should try being an Australian on Maguuma or a US night shift worker that players during Oceanic primetime. You go 15 vs 60 in your own borderland every single day. They are the hardest working players on our server and if they’ve had enough they’ve had enough. No qualifiers necessary.

I’m not going to dispute that it’s difficult or disheartening to play constantly in this situation. Nor am I belittling anything our night presence does. All I’m saying is it’s silly to decide whether or not to play so you can influence the Tier we would be in next week.

You’re assuming that’s what’s happening in the first place, of which you have absolutely no idea if it’s true.

Here’s a thought. Maybe CD just has more oceanic players than we do, but we got a lot of NA try-hards that don’t sleep on the weekend.

Though fight clubs are usually fun, hopefully you don’t get a lot of takers from FA as we should be focused on trying to move back into T2.

I’ve never been to a fight club where mag wasn’t devoting twice the number of bodies than the other two servers (sometimes combined) to sit at fight club. If FA ran a fight club 24/7, you would have half of mag’s active population tied up and dominate the map.

The reason we’re pointing it out is because it’s worse than normal. There’s always a bunch of goobers and you learn to simply take them as they are. But my word, this match up has been absolutely brutal with them to the point of comedic.

All I can really ask from you forum goers is, if you could make an extra effort to crack down these goobers if you see them on your own server, please publicly shame them into oblivion on team chat for the rest of the week. Mag’s found in the past it does wonders to keep fools from trying stuff when they know they could be ridiculed by the community for the rest of their natural WvW life.

There are certain legit hiding spots mesmers use to portal people in that are very clever (namely in the East Keep) that I haven’t seen used before and have had my suspicions of hacks.

Also, i can’t count how many times i’ve seen in map chat “How’d they get in!?!?!?!?” then later realizing the enemy broke in 2 hours ago and our team failed to sweep the keep thoroughly after repelling them.

I’m not denying hacks don’t exist because as i said, i’ve seen them (under the ground players destroying siege stands out). What i’m pointing out is – the people who yell “Haxx!!!” because they don’t yet understand many of the game mechanics in WvW.

Dude, I’m not new to WvW. I have personally seen these players walk through gates and walls to the inner, destroy a bunch of siege inside lord rooms of keeps that hadn’t been controlled by anybody but Maguuma (this was during reset), and then speedily get themselves out of the keep without so much as a hair out of place.

You must be tripping balls if you’re going to sit back and tell me what I have and have not seen in game when there are videos to support these claims. The amount of 3rd party tools that allow you to break or bend all kinds of code for this game is absolutely staggering. And they’ve been used since beta.

Also, where are you guys seeing these hackers, especially 10 in 2 days? I’m in WvW A LOT and have maybe seen only 2 hackers in my WvW lifetime (1 under the ground hack and 1 fly hack) since release. I’m starting to believe culling, lag, PvE items and lack of knowledge in game mechanics are bringing about a hysteria in people.

Nobody blames the entire server. We blame the people that are being shown cheating. Take all your back seat modding and kitten it. The mods won’t know about it unless somebody reports it. And nobody should report it if there are no allegations made toward the server.

It’s not supposed to be posted on the forums. The method of reporting hackers is to do so in game. Forum moderators probably only deal with the forums, and have no bearing on what gets reported in game.

Nobody is looking to get anything resolved from putting incriminating videos on the forums. It’s simply to talk about what’s happening in-game, as shown by the evidence it is happening in game at an alarming rate atm. Talking about what’s happening in-game is the entire purpose of these forums. Why people take offense to something that has nothing to do with them is beyond me. Maybe they weren’t loved enough when they were little.

I’m pretty sure the complaint is more towards DB than FA. FA has a presence in every borderland. DB can’t say the same.

Maguuma 2.0 doesn’t exist anymore. It lasted exactly 3 weeks and then they all transferred off.
