I love when people feel they’re entitled to spawn camp the enemy with reckless abandon. If you don’t want to be near somebody with the invincibility buff, don’t be near the enemy spawn. It is that simple.
Umm are you telling us that we should stay away from the SE supply camp on our BL map? it is not a spawn camp when trying to take a supply camp and the enemy runs in through the front by the road attacks you and then when he/she realizes a mistake was made and death is imminent run to a little square of invulnerability. I take it maybe you do this often yourself?
Uh, I’m telling you to stay inside the supply camp. There is literally nothing the enemy can do objective wise when he’s currently within the invincibility area. When you can start attacking or capping objective areas while invulnerable, than you’ve got a case to complain. But at the moment, it’s no different than running back into your spawn from the center exit.

Maguuma has also gotten tons of transfers and from what I’ve heard in forums, they are in the same boat as us with the amount of zergs but more experienced players.
Mag successfully dropped a lot of it’s dead weight. Much closer to old Maguuma atm, with a couple new additions that are worth keeping.

Maguuma has spent it’s entire WvW lifetime losing. We like losing and we know how to defend. If you can’t crack the egg that is Maguuma, maybe you should hit DBs borderlands.
Maguuma will always lose the night time in the top 9 ranked server area. Most of our asian/oceanic coverage is just NA nerds that don’t sleep, and even then we can’t compete with any real night time servers. Get used to losing your stuff overnight, because that’s how we’ve had to play forever.

It’s actually much better nowadays. Back in the day, we really did lose absolutely everything within 5 minutes at night.
-BT reminds me of the old Maguuma tactics with the addition of stability.
That’s why these new age Maguuman OGers complaining make me laugh. BT play so much like Goons. Their style is straight out of the Mag playbook. Nothing but love and kittens.

The act of dancing or sitting or jumping on defeated players is very disrespectful. If it makes your defeat easier to handle when your opponent bows or salutes giving you respect then what the hell to think it feels like to have an opponent dance, jump or sit on a defeated player?
C’mon lets have some respect for each other. We are all trying hard and battling hard. Some players have only won because their opponent hit the wrong key or a skill bug or lag worked against the defeated player. And you all know who you are that does this disrespecting defeated players when you know you should’ve lost. I’ve seen most disrespect done by Thiefs and d/d Eles seriously. It’s the Warriors and Rangers and Engineers I’ve seen giving most respect.
I usually give a bow or salute to players I’ve defeated if it was 1v1 or 1+v1 or whatever. And I will also so it to defeated players that fought a good fight even if I was not involved in the fight. And there are times when the opponent is downed that I will bow or salute and then go on my way allowing the player to rally.
After all, the purpose of WvW is not to hate each other (altho that is usually what happens to humans that have to war against each other), it’s about having fun. Not about who has the better skills, who has the bigger zerg or has the most points, those are just the outcome of WvW. The purpose is to have fun after all its a game and game were made for fun.
I will dance and sit on this gentleman’s corpse all day every day.
Do you really need to steal golems and suicide them off cliffs to win? The guild TEAM that is currently in DB and are Magumma spies just stole golems and suicided them to end our push in Mag’s borderlands. Wow I thought we were passed this stuff happening with transfers ending tomorrow. Very dirty Magumma really terrible way to play the game. Clean up your server.
We got vids of DB players no clipping under the map and destroying every bit of siege inside of keeps. You guys aren’t saints either.
I won’t condemn an entire server but guilds like BT badge farming is annoying and sucks the fun out of WvW. I am hoping those guilds run into Kaineng so they can feel the multi-zerg pain. In the long run, I hope ANet reduces the zerg effect to a large degree.
I disagree. BT’s play is rather impressive. I like their style.
There are always better hackers than coders. It’s why computer security companies hire hackers.
I’d be fine with that, if these things were new. But these glitches have been in the game since release. There really is no excuse other than their own failure to upkeep their own game… Which will result in people talking about it, obviously. Some of these things are game breaking.
So far this is a pretty terrible matchup. I really hope this is just opening day behavior and it’s not like this the entire week.

When mag fought us, it was never THIS outnumbered. You guys always could field decent #s. no server wants to fight for 80 points. You guys would get sick of it too, I enjoy fighting outnumbered, but this is extreme
We’ve been in your exact situation before. Arguably worse. Who do you think welcomed SoS 2.0 into the game? Mag still found a way to have fun that week. You just gotta get over the overall winning and losing aspect when you’re in that scenario.
