No one in T1 ever accused WM of botting, perhaps it’s just the lower server players lack of understanding of WvW that results in this conclusion.
Uh, Kain is historically the lower tiered server. Mag’s been near the top since the dawn of time.
WM weren’t always in kain, they started off in Storm bluff isle, a server which spent most of its time in T1. WM is the guild in topic, not kaineng as the server. Obviously WM wouldn’t have been a concern to lower tier server population if they weren’t in their tier….
i.e. WM used to only play against T1 guilds/players, those players never accused WM of botting. Now WM are playing against lower tier guilds/players, and they get accused of botting.
And again, there is nothing lower tier about Maguuma. We’ve been hovering the top since the game started. JQ/SoS/BG were all lower tiered than Mag for months.
WM hasn’t shown anything new to Maguuma, I promise you.
Ya’ll are putting too much focus on the end score when you should focus on the battles that you’re actually participating in. Who cares who scored what points while you were sleeping or working. It doesn’t effect you.
From the score it looks like I wasn’t the only Mag to be busy with Superbowl day instead of keep defense. NA servers and their silly football importance.
The new and improved Mag is more civil than usual, no flamy Bunzy posts (wonder if he has been banned from the forums again, lol), and I’ve actually seen ::gasp:: compliments! I got ganked by several folks from Kain, I was downed… and someone from Mag’s OG guild proceeded to take them out, ran over to my corpse, bowed and went on their merry way! =)

Kinda hoping this statement doesn’t mean Mag will be rolling over and belly showing for the rest of the week, tho – been a fun week so far, with good fights from both servers.
Mag never just gives up. I think that was shown pretty well at our garrison today.
It is fun to see all of them saying: “Aha noob Kaineng bla bla bla this is tier 3 u cant bla bla bla”. Oh please, stop this wanna-be acting and sit down on ur chair.
Last night everyone was so happy because we were last and they kept saying “Oh please, this is tier 3 u cant give these kind of excuses”. Now that they are both behind us, they’re giving the excuses.

So I see this is going to be one of those matches where the non-English speaking Korean players get all the points for a server, and all the English speaking players who had nothing to do with it take credit for it.
Geez, either we successfully got a bunch of people to transfer off of our server, or somebody has a lot of people. Outmanned on Dragonbrand BL and flipping between outmanned and not on Kaineng BL.

It seems like the queue is glitched though. People that started queuing 15 minutes before I got in (though my 5.5 hour queue) had 30 min queues, and people that started queuing at the same time had 1 hour queues.
I’ll agree that I don’t think queues are actually true queues, and never have been. I learned a long time ago to swap queues between the least popular borderlands constantly (the two enemy home borderlands), and you’ll usually get in within 5 or 10 minutes. A true queue would never put somebody new to the queue first, but it seems like it always has.
Try my suggestion either now or next reset and see if it works for you.
logical or not, the real problem is the queue is glitched and anet knows about it. you don’t seem to know very much about this topic, so I suggest you stop commenting on it.
Anet has in fact said exactly nothing about the subject. The problem with players trying to determine how many people are currently inside a borderlands is that they have absolutely no way to measure it, outside of the outmanned buff. The only thing you can do is base it on a feeling of having less players than the enemy… Which is the exact same feeling you get when you are simply losing the match.
Believe me I know the feeling, it’s happened to me before. Doing a call-to-arms on your home borderlands on a reset, only to get like 20 people even though the borderland is queued. It happens. And it has nothing to do with bugs in the system. People are simply mucking about.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you aren’t even on any of the servers in this matchup.

And I highly doubt queues are bugged for select servers and not all. They’d all coded the exact same way. A more logical solution is people are joining the map and not doing anything productive like doing their dailies or getting map completion.
MMO players just love jumping vapid conclusions… Proof of concept, just look at the guy legitimately believing there’s an alliance going on when all the home borderlands are all painted the colours of both enemies.
It’s one of play to win, but don’t take your losses too hard. And yeah, we like our trolls on occasion, too. But I didn’t think seriously trolling people who are trying to fight the good fight through such means as using a commander icon to deliberately lead people to the wrong place, or deliberately starting the wrong upgrade on a keep about to go in siege, so that it’s harder to defend… I didn’t think those were the core mindset.
You’re strawmaning me sir. Nobody is condoning intentionally messing up upgrades or leading people to the wrong location. I’m against that too.
If you new people want to start arguing against me, you gotta understand what you’re arguing against first.
This kind of class imbalance in WvW is a bad sign.
I actually can’t remember a RvR style game that had an imbalance this bad. Though, to be fair, the ones I have played have been fairly mature, with imbalances ironed out.
Has anyone else, with experience in RvR games, seen an imbalance this bad?
Unless there is sarcasm, did you not play Warhammer? Everybody played Brightwizard/Sorceress and Disciple of Khaine/Warrior Priest. There was no reason to play any other class except maybe bring 1 Magus/Engineer for an AoE pull. BWs/Sorcs were so overpowered if you played any other another DPS class you were considered gimp. Didn’t even matter what renown rank/gear you had.

Buddy, you wrote a week long diatribe about how other people don’t control the entire servers mindset, while you yourself just came onto this server recently and are now trying to tell the core communities mindset that’s been here since day 1 that it’s wrong. Other than laughing, there really isn’t anything that can be contributed.
If you wanna be on Maguuma, be Maguuman. Be merry, join mumble, kill hobos, get badges, lose WvW, not care. Maguuma is about being part of a community. If you decide to not be part of that community, why are you on the server? Maybe you’re not aware but Mag has won a grand total of 7 out of 56 matches. Losing is what we do here. If that bothers you, well, you better get used to it. ‘Cause it’s gonna happen more.
At least on KBL there is.
