The tiers are based entirely on the level of coverage your server possess. Thinking otherwise is just foolhardy. I don’t care how good and hardcore you think you are. You can’t compete with a full coverage 24/7 server if there are 8 hours of the day that your own server can’t field more than 30 players across all four borderlands.
In my experience camps when flipped always go to 100 supply no matter its state before flipping, so I don’t think it wastes supply.
This is completely incorrect.
However, you’re not understanding a simple thing. The Holy Ram is an item of reverence to all Maguuman invaders. Creating new temples and shrines inside enemy territory is a free ride to Ram Heaven as stated in The Holy Book of Maguuma.
This is the other side for a little perspective. It was during week 41, SoS and FA… That was probably the worst beating Maguuma has ever received as a server, and probably would’ve completely demoralized a less insane server.
I’m amazed the scores are anywhere near close. DB probably has the least amount of players that celebrate Christmas, just another day to them. Some of you Mags took that bullet for the team. Bravo gentleman. You are a better Maguuman than I.
Culling. Wow. This is probably the main reason people don’t do WvW.
Culling is the real reason people stop playing this game. Worst design decision in the history of MMOs really. Even buggier than WARs collision detection… And collision detection was crazy broken lol.

Low leveling WvW tips tlrd;
-Use siege equipment. Stats don’t matter when you’re using a ballista/cannon/whatever.
-Stay within the safety of the zerg.

I just said it’s possible, not that it’s current happening. Atm we’re scraping by by the skin of our teeth. 7k points ahead of DB or something, which will change once the site is updated.
I’ll make an attempt to explain it. It’s because each server has a specific total overall score from all their matches, and based on that score your current score is judged against the other two servers scores.
So like, in this match up, Yaks total overall points from all their match ups is 120 higher than Mags. And Mags is 30 higher than DBs. Now, because Yaks total points are so high, they’re expected to stomp both Mag and DB. And because they aren’t, their points are current dropping down by 60. Which is a lot, but not so much to bring their total score below Mags. On the flip side, DB can be losing but if they keep it close, they’d be doing better than what was expected of them, so their points might move up by 40 or so. Which would put them ahead of Mag. So, as you can see, we’re put in this really weird situation atm where unless we totally decimate either DB or Yaks, Mag will still most likely be the one to be dropped down to T5 because of how absolutely EBay is destroying the opposition down there.
Unfortunately, due to the way the ratings work, Maguuma will actually be ranked below Ebay next week if the score continues as it is, [b]even if we win[b].
I find that so wacky. Imagine the winner of the match up getting knocked down a tier? It’s totally possible, but also mind boggling at the same time.
The keep you just gained like 10 mins ago? That keep? Cause logically there was a couple mesmers.
Its not 10 minutes ago because we have 2 people doing the upgrading stuff inside
and the wall is been upgraded and secondly we are upgrading workers and suddenly we
are being alert enemys already in lord room…
I dont think you can do that upgrade in 10 minute with 0 supply in the beginning and
most of us are busy recapping camp that being flipped all the time
It wasn’t a long time ago. 20 mins or so. It’s not like we’re talking hours here. You can clearly see in the pics that the keep has exactly zero upgrades finished on it. Not even workers.
Couple mesmers chilling in a keep for half an hour? That’s pretty much par the course.
I think you got me wrong. I mentioned that the fact YB focused on Ebay because it’s easier to re-gain lost points that way, as they were weakest. Same logic goes this week. But there are times when certain server is weak, no?
However, my point was to say that EB should have focused on Mag instead of Yaks, so that they would have gained more points overall. Same logic this time. Weakest server should focus on least stronger server to gain more points.
How is that not being consistent?
Because you should be telling DB to attack your own server.

Last week you had the argument that the 2nd place team should focus on the weaker target 24/7. Well, guess what, the 2nd place team atm is Yaks. So by your own argument you should leave us powerful Mags to do our own thing right now, otherwise you’re only gimping your own strategy… But that’s not what you’re spewing this week. You’re coming out with the exact opposite strategy.

Happened tonight with Yaks in their BL too. People loving their east keep glitching lately. Probably the same goobers that have been doing it every week and proudly tell everybody they did so on these very forums.
This week’s match up will be a very close one. DB will stomp Mag for sure. In fact, DB rivals even YB’s force.
Speaking of EB, Mag is in the same shoe as EB was last week. If not careful, Mag will be pushed by DB to 3rd place. In the bigger picture, DB is a bigger threat to Mag than to YB. However, somehow I don’t think Mag see it that way, as they keep tunnel vision on YB.

Think that is mainly our biggest problem… As a server we probably enough players to compete with YB, but many players would rather PVE unless it is a guild event…
I don’t care so much about the score as much as I would like our server to get more organized and put on better shows for itself when we can. We do have a core of players with high levels of organization. But it’s about getting the more public players on the same page.
This is outright silly. People are going to do what they enjoy. If that happens to be PvE, more power to them.
I learned a long time ago long term RvR is only enjoyable to a small population of players in video games. Even people who say or think they want to do it often only do it in short bursts before they burn out. It takes a special kind of sperglord to this stuff for years on end.
