Honestly, I can make any armor set work for the Ranger, so its not much problem for me. Then again, I haven’t got the in game financial ability to even make a full ascended set of armor, and its not really worth it to me if I spend 300+ gold on a set of armor and can’t change stats when I can buy 12 exotic sets of armor for the same price and minimal difference in stat values….so, there’s that. Would be nice though to have an option to change stats on super expensive ascended armor.
@Azhure, lowercase only is a legitimate case style of writing in the English language in non-formal circumstances. Many people use it for the speed and ease of typing without having to press the shift key, as it can considerably slow down typing speed.
it is not any harder to read, and actually, it might be easier/faster to read because your brain is now only processing the minute differences between 26 letters instead of 52.
I am using the Valkyrie Emblazoned set for my Ranger it is good doing PvE I haven’t done any PvP or WvW.. But it was not hard to make.. I don’t think I really need any better for now…. My Leather working is at 436 I haven’t done much since I made my set.. But I don’t really need any thing right now….
You can make any tab you want… Basic started with Main and Combat.. I made one for Guild Chat though most time I am on alone.. My Girl Friend doesn’t play much….
I have spent 130 hours on my Main… Some events a lot of wandering around exploring.. I am level 73 half way to 74.. I see no issues leveling here at all… But that may just be my way of playing….

Not defending ANET, but customer support has pretty much gone the way of the dinosaurs in every aspect of our modern life.

Okay the Guy at Alter Brook Some times seems to not work Can’t talk to him… Using the “o” Key will open the trading post but you can’t interact with this guy…. I posted a screen shot hope some one has a Clue…

You just need to be the Guild leader or have permissions to create the new ranks. Open the guild page>> Then click the ranks Icon== Shield.. Then at the top left it has a Button that says Create New Rank… Click it make the rank Name for it you want and check which boxes for Permissions you want….

I would have to say this would be a very bad Idea…. I know several people from other games that were in the military on Active duty in a War Zone.. Now tell me just how any one would feel if they did get a bit of time to get on the forums here, but not be able to play the game ???? I think my self I would be very PO’d…

My level 62 player can go in a level 9 area and get 60+ exp a kill plus most time gets explorer Bonus for 60-130 exp per kill.. Now my level 17 player can run in the same area but only get 13-16 exp a kill… Events I do with the level 62 in the low level areas… I get 3000-5000+ exp .. The level 17 gets around 500 exp….. This just seems odd to me that player stats level down but exp doesn’t seem to drop to match up…

The idea of GW2 PvE is to play how you want, and play with friends without level restriction gettin in the way.
You should be able to get to lvl80 without ever leaving the lvl1-15 zones.
The whole reason why you level up is to explore higher level zones and enjoy higher level content and discover new things that the world provides you. There is no reason to rush to lvl80. The level scaling is to help bring players and friends together to enjoy the game with without one shotting everything and ruining the experience of fun for others. If you get less to no exp at lower level zones then it would prevent you from playing with friends who are lower level than you which is a bad sign in an Online game…

I understand about making it so different level players can play together… But I was trying to figure out why even though my level is scaled down why my level 62 player get more Exp then my girl friends level 17 player… LoL just seem strange to me I get 4-6 times more exp…

I do understand what you are trying to say though, but I think you worded it wrong. Of course nothing in life is perfect but does that mean you just live without trying to progress or move forward? Gaming is my hobby and I have invested my time into gw1 and gw2 so that is why i voice my concern. Is this game my entire life? lol no. I have many other hobbies I enjoy, I am passionate about my hobbies which to me is a good thing.
Okay this I can agree with.. I just try to have fun learn what I can in any thing I do.. Whether in r/l or a game… I do hope GW 2 grows more But then I have that hope for any game I have played…. I know one game that has not really had new content in about 2 years.. They have gone back and revised some of the quest areas but still the same content… I have 3 of the GW 1 packs I never really enjoyed that game though.. I have tried several others but didn’t like the seeming lack of player cooperation… Here in GW 2 things seem a lot better to a point.. Though I mostly play solo on most games.. I have some bone and joint issues some times my hands don’t do so well… But I think over all the game is okay.. Now maybe 6 months or a year from now thing may not be… But I try to stay positive….

what? dude go read the forums and see the advice people are giving, log onto the game and see what people are saying, go read forums from other gaming review/rating websites that write blogs about the health of mmos. Open your mind and relax, I’m nokitten on this game nor do i want it to fail, I see much potential and hope gw2 becomes that mmo that beats all the others.
Well it seems you don’t like what I have said. But maybe then I grew up during a different time era… Getting worried over a game that I use for Entertainment is not some thing I will do… I learned a long time ago nothing in life is perfect… I do understand your Point but you don’t seem to understand mine….
Mine runs fine if i run on lowest settings but my system should be able to run on max without any trouble =(
You answered your own issue… Try adjusting some of the different options and see can you reach a happy ground…. I think sirsquishy has given good advise…

I have played many game online GW 2 being only 2 years old and you think the game is Dying??? I am new to the game but really I don’t see the need for Doom here at all…. Look at some other games I will not list them here but many are 4-8 years old and people still play them maybe not in the Big numbers that did when the game started…. Every game goes through several growth issues… I may play one for awhile then swap to another one…. But I don’t ever really just fully quit…. I just feel that looking at the negative is not helping any thing at all….
I think you misunderstand what we are talking about, From someone who says he has played many “online games” I thought would understand where this is coming from. For a mmo business to ignore the input of what the majority of the gaming community wants to see is a bad sign, that is why in my post i said 1 year from now. The game is almost 3 years i believe and we have not seen much. Other mmos I have played evolve much quicker and try out new things whether they fail or not they try. I have played since gw1 so that is why i am voicing my concern for the future not really the present atm. You talk about how every game goes through growth issue which is true, but not sure if you noticed that only the die hard fans are still playing those games that did not evolve, not only that but those game that do not evolve have no new content being shown or rarely. So where did the rest of the population go? They move on from game to game hoping to find a MMO that is truly evolving and different. Look at wow, why do millions still pay to play the same mmo? There are many reasons but one major factor is that they keep pumping out new expansions and things to do and explore, and of course you still have those die hard fans.
No I read and understand Fully.. I think what you are missing is the fact it takes time to develop content.. Also if they did every thing players wanted they would never get any thing done at all…. No game company does thing in any fast manner at all.. I have worked in soft ware development and I can say it takes time… Does a car manufacture make every improvement some one says they want??? I think not…. But I am done here have fun with the Doom and complaining… Maybe some other game can cater to how you want it…. I don’t think any really will please every one…

I play Ranger and am having a really fun time…. The pet can be a help but as Woljnir says they some times will start a bit of trouble.. Still it is a great class to play…
Well I shut my computer down and rebooted… Logged into the game and got it that was the screen shot I posted I always try every thing on my end before I even make a post like this… That comes from 31 years of using computers and 23 years of building and repairing them….
Well I picked Borlis Pass.. I did look at others but I rather have a server that is not over loaded… My Lap Top runs the game okay but rather not have issues with any graphics….
Plural of a word doesn’t seem to work… Singular is how I have to do every thing I search for.. I put Bolts it says None available but Bolt works just fine…

I traded 250 gems and got like 26.6 gold last night… It varies only way to know what you will get is just do it… Wish I could give better advise but really the in game chart is about the best we have….
I have to say I have seen some low life tactics before but you have just proven how low you are… I think every one here hit the nail on the head… I hope a Admin sees this and drops you where you belong…

Well We have both been playing about 2 weeks now and I made the guild first day.. She also tried to send me some gold in the mail… And that didn’t work she tried a couple different amounts and got a message saying she tried to mail to many times… It was saying due to being a new game account or some thing……
