Greetings benefactors ! This is my first time seeing this topic, even though i’m playing for almost 5 years.
I started, to craft for my daughter character, Sunrise. Its the only legendary, she likes…I invested my gold/laurels for T6 mats and of course the cursed Mystic Clovers and after i spend most of my gold for MC, and now i’m left broken to craft Gift of Light and more specific Charged Lodestones. I already have 4 but still i need 96 for the gift.If anyone who wants to make a father proud, for gifting my daughter the Sunrise, if you have some spare Charged Lodestones, will be just perfect.

To be honest,i would like to see a fight, yes physical fight between Balthazar and Kralkatorrik. Since Kralkatorrik is the largest ED, i guess the battle between them, will devastate the entire Crystal Desert.
Because if we will go conventional against Kralkatorrik (much like on Mordremoth) it will be a lame story.

Too bad i can’t +1 more than once. You nailed what is wrong with Renegade.I can already see us using mace/axe 99,99% time since SB is soo so lackluster. Low cond dmg/low condi duration…Utilities are a mess, icerazor inflict cripple (lol) instead chill, to synergy with Abyssal Chill…Tbh i don’t see us in a good spot in PoF maybe like a last resort or something…

That is the real question. Armor sets are surprisingly expensive in terms of developer cost.

So, fractal armor is off the table? We don’t want legendary fractal armor, we only want a specific armor for fractals (ascended) or just skins.A lot of peoples will be happy if you guys, would take time to create fractal armor. We already have weapons,backpack and the only thing missing, are the armors sets.
Like i said, we don’t want to diminish legendary armor through raid, we only want Fractal Armor (ascended) will be just perfect.

You are right Kidel, but why should spam swap legend everytime CD is on, to gain energy.Besides, we have utilities and weps skills with energy requirement.I play with condi rev, and i mostly spam auto-attack and skill #2 and them swap on Jalis for hammers, change Mallyx for elite and so so so on.
With Renegade, i guess we will camp Kalla then Mallyx and back and forth.

To be honest, from a guardian main with second main as a engineer, Holosmith looks by far the most awesome elite spec. Its unique and maybe this is what we need to be there, in those first places.In the mean time, should i craft Quip,because it seems sword+pistol will be the main thing with shield as an alternative.

Hey guys, i have this crazy idea, after almost 4 years of playing, to make an engineer and craft The Predator ( i like pew pew). Does he retain his fiery aura when, lets just say equip FT? or anyother kits?

Our boon corruption is at good in a fight for like 2-3 secs, before enemies will be full with boons for other classes.

Well, i will give my little 2 cents review about this season, playing necro.First, i’m not so pro player, i’m just a sapphire/ruby player, so i’m just a normal player who enjoy pvp. I started using our so call “meta” build <signet chillomancer>. Its usless, this is my opinion, as soon i corrupted their boons, 2 secs later = they already have full boons, they already cleansed my conditions, at least on these classes : DH,warrior,engi,druid,rev.
Second thing i did, i used some kind of power builds (laughing dmg). So, since we were nerfed (in pvp), what is the point playing necro in S4?

Honestly, if you’re in the average-ish (like most of us) player range and stacked DHs bother you that much, hop on a SR/Smite Power Well necro and watch them melt. Well +Well + Shroud (well crit chance), your unblockable damage will melt them before the average ones have a clue what happened. It’s been pretty easy. Run a Wurm or spectral walk for kiting and you can have a blast. It isn’t just DHs either. Many of the current builds rely heavily on blocks, and this just shuts them down. That said, i’m sure it only works because I’m using them against average-ish people like myself who don’t expect that flavor of burst. Either way, it’s done wonders. And, to make things better, you get to shut the class that is “no-skill” (sic) with another no-skill build.

The ones that don’t die to it are maybe decent players and when they beat you, it isn’t because of their class so much as their mechanical, strategic, and adaptive abilities.

I’ve also been test running power reaper specs. Try using the shout that makes all of your attacks unblockable for the next w/e seconds depending on targets hit. Tears apart anything that relies on blocking for it’s sustain phases or at least pushes them off the point.

Can you please, post that power build? I trully want to give it a shot.

@Heibi : They are not elite, they are nothing but a bunch of kittens who thinks they are “elite” just because they are doing raids. You cannot reason with them.

2.) How? Visual and audio indicators for boss attacks. Less wipe potential (its not 100% or 0% kitten @maddoctor) what I mean is if you kitten up once you maybe get downed to 20% hp but you can recover from one mistake. Why do you have to think in black and white? If you kitten it up twice in a row then it’s still a wipe.

All of what your asking for is in raids, missing a mechanic != wipe. There are audio queues, there are visual queues.

The only lacking thing to get raids to a wider audience is the proper group formation tools which is in dev atm.

So again, why do raids need an easy mode when all an easy mode serves to do here is divide the community further, when the proper tools for bringing people in would decrease the divisive nature ?

Well because Mordremoth is the MIND Dragon. The jungle itself is him, he doesnt have a form like Zhaitan and the others. Actually the Elder Dragons are not traditional dragons, they are primordial forces of nature.

Here the AP is pointless, i’ve seen numerous time ppl with 18k and even 22k AP who didnt even knew the Shield of Avenger from Guardian its good in adition to Wall of Reflection at the first boss in CM Path 1. This thread is lmao. Welp guys, you just have some 99 stacks of confusion. You think these new changes will put us in the meta for dungeons? If you think so, then i’m sorry to say, you dont play dungeons. Most say that the changes are good for pvp/wvw, maybe it is, i’m not playing these mods, but on PvE – dungeons, the Reaper will be in the exact same place at is now. Its true that in the first month of the expansion, almost no one will go in dungeons, rather exploring new map/collecting hero points, etc. But after the dust will of the new content will settle, the dungeons will be full again.
Yes we can dream of our new place in the meta, but i lost faith a long time ago with Necro on dungeons.Question : Why you should take Reaper rather then Chronomancer? The shouts are AoE, most bosses are single target so it almost invalidate our new shouts. Open your eyes and leave this “dream” behind that those who cry are noobs, or should i say play with Necro/Reaper in pvp/wvw but please dont come with the idea that in PvE , Reaper will be in the meta.Cheeers.

Well i’m using Volcanus with the outfit, and its like the best combination. And with the extra Fires of Balthazar backpack skin. I love that on my Warrior Charr, my tail its on fire.

After 3,8k hours in this game, finally i had my first precursor drop:The Colossus, from level 31 fractal.My main is a Charr Warrior , and for the first time i gaze upon Twilight i always said “i will make one”. Now…its kinde meh. Almost everyone has it, even 3 members from my fractal group from today had it.

So, i cannot decide myself, and i want some opinions from you guys. From Twilight and Juggernaut, what its best looking or Charr Warrior? (I have a Guard Norn too).

Since almost all of us, it isnt so happy with these changes about our class, my best friend told me, the necromancer from GW1 was a trully a necromancer and not this dumbed down version of him (aka in GW2). Rng is Rng, i know how it works. But someone who thinks the loot from gw2 is NOTHING but Rng, explain this to me :
Last year i had my first and last “rage quit” from Gw2. We had a lucky member in our guild, but his luck in one day, has gone through the roof of whatever RNG exist in gw2.
In the morning, he crafted some exotic swords, results : 2 Zaps. He laughed and even said, i will make a dusk in 3 hours. He showed his exotic GS, guess what = Dusk. After he came from work, it was evening, he again made some exotic daggers, the result of course was 1 Spark. That was the moment when I literally “alt+f4” uninstall and i didnt played gw2 for more then 1 year.
Now can someone explain again, that his luck was RNG or something else… My guild had over 200 online members, only 3 from 200, except that guy, who had their precursors as loot. So…It is trully a pure RNG or not so RNG.

Yes, is the worst. I mean, i dunno who are behind these updates, but they UBER lack of imagination. GW lore is big, and what they are doing? Balloons an other crap like peter said : kill that, run like a crazy one on the map… This is the events to keep players playing? Molten Alliance was the best, after that every Living Story was more or less pathetic. Honestly, at the first look with these so call “events” you think GW2 is a free to play MMO. And above all things, they are forcing players to make all the achivs in 2 weeks. I guess GW2 will have a slowly death, like others MMO who started so awesome and ended so patethic.

Well, after i saw who won, i said to me “again in a MMO, the casuals who plays like 2-3 hours wins”. Honestly i knew that, the casuals will go for Kiel. Why? Because in EVERY MMO, this situation is more or less, true… Casuals will be much more (player base) then lets just say the Hardcore player base, and therefore we have now an CoE V 2.0 and the cost of the wp, a bit down.

It took me 7 months to get my Fractal Rifle skin. I got it a few days ago. After getting it I have yet to run any fractals or even do anything else besides daily. It was a gruesome grind. There always seem to be one skin that always drops for one person. For me it was the Fractal warhorn of which i have 6.

Thank you, i will need a lot of luck in this, sometimes, pointless journey. They need to do something, like a goal. You cant just farm farm farm fractals just for one skin. Despite the chance is very low, and when you see you didnt recived the skin you wanted so bad, you start to think Anet likes to trolling or they literally forgot about the FoTM, and this is sad.

And speaking about the goal, they should do like this : you farm for “this” and “this” and “this” and “this” for a specific fractal skin, but no, Anet wants to farm from here “x”———————→unlimited time, for a skin.

This is not a QQ-more thread. Just a litle story about how the RNG works, at least, in my case, and i’m very sure, to everyone who runs fractals for skins, because the loot 90% sux big time. Ok… So ! Friday, lvl 38 = Fractal Harpoon (It was OK, i didnt had this skin anyway), i want the GS Skin. Saturday , lvl 48 = Fractal Harpoon ! YEY !!! Oh wait…what? I said to myself “Haha, Anet likes to troll me…” Today lvl 38 : Fractal Harpoon.
First i used “quit rage” method, then a briliant idea, came in my mind. I’m a war Charr, so 1 fractal in the right hand, 1 fractal in the left hand , AND the third one i will try with my tail.
No honestly, i know the RNG is so bad, but the point that i’m not get it, is that, why Anet has forgotten the FoTM? I’m running daily 38/48 and sometimes 28 with my guildies, but still and i bet, i’m not the only one here. Can you please Anet make something about the skins? Like dunno trade 3/4 weps for the one you need, or use shards with something else,but at least do something. All i want is the Greatsword Skin,that’s all but knowing that I will have grandkids until then, it drives me crazy.

Ok, so i decided to pass the Fractal backpiece from thief -> war with the transmutaton thingy. The question is : IF i transmute, leaving behind the shiny skin, and choosing a normal look, i will loose those stats i mean, those 10 AR + stats?

I know that we cant obtain now, but, as far i saw, i guess we must use a transmutation crystal, and now here is the question. If i have on a other char Fractal Capacitor Infused (t3), if i will transmute the skin with the Shattered Dragon Wings, it will make account bound?

Hi. Well i decided to lvl my mesmer and i’m lvl 50. So i choosed to go in Iron Marches(lvl 50-60 zone). The wierd thing is that, i made 8/13 Hearts and i’m still lvl 50, almost 51. So if i go on a map with 50-60 lvl, and i bet that if i finish all 13 Hearts will resault with maybe 52 lvl or so.
My point is that, did they nerfed the xp gained from making hearts? Because when i started this game i lvl’ed my necro in no time @ lvl 80, and now i’m struggle to make lvl 80 on mesmer.
So, did they nerfed the xp?
