I noticed that the description for this specialization states that Call of the Wild will grant 12 seconds of regeneration, however, it would appear that the regeneration is only applied for 6 seconds.
Am I missing something?
Learn the rules and play accordingly. Its not a conquest map, please play appropriately.
As a beta player, I have to question the validity of magic find. My MF keeps going up but the drops remain the same. In 3 years, I have received 1 legendary pre and nothing else of note. Whats the point?
I just got her, she is sexy as kitten. But I would like to suggest that Mawdrey 2 might possible exchange more than 150 dust. Those of us that play a lot, have a tendency to get overfilled with red dust. Stacks upon stacks upon stacks….
I think it would be nice to see more plant-based pets, especially of the flying variation.
Its dumb and broken.
I am sick and tired of “tie goes to the guy that placed the conditions.” This 1 sec rule on healing is screwing us all. We fight, we fight hard. The animation creates enough drag, why add another second? Its hard enough, just let us heal already.
You can bring in more people, but they will be people that simply don’t care about winning or losing. In their minds, there is no cost to dying, and if their team happens to zerg win in hotjoin, or even if they lose, they get credit towards better rewards/time than pve. PvP will become the same mindless thing as champ train farming. You aren’t getting them into TeamQ or YoloQ, so your queue times don’t get better, and you are still frustrated…. What you want is people who come in for the competitive skill aspect, not for the rewards.
This doesn’t sound that different than the current state of Hotjoin.
I suspect there will be an influx of PvE players curious about the changes. I also suspect that given that other players are harder to predict than a dungeon AI, people who like to farm dungeons, and can run them in 5-10mins will not be enticed to suddenly start farming hotjoin. Some will stay, some will go.
Getting more people into PvP isn’t a bad thing.
One might question why we are still receiving them as rewards for daily?
The devs flood the TP with cheap legendaries and special skins, forever skewing the in-game economy. The TP speculators drown in their own saliva. Laughs are had by all.
Sky hammer is busy. Jump pads, break away flooring/death drops, and of course, the big surface area whammy that is the hammer. Certainly positioning is key and, yes, it takes some degree of skill to finesse this map, but is it in line with the other maps? The fact that this map has three gimmick features, sets it a apart. That it isn’t in Tpvp rotation, seems worth mentioning, as well.
Love it or hate it, its obviously got some mixed reviews and isn’t going anywhere, but it won’t ever be celebrated by the community, either.
I main a ranger, and when a thief hits me with steal, which will happen, they get that ranger specific skill that spawns a tree upon use. Was this intended to be a camera blind? I find that when this skill gets popped, the canopy of the tree will change the angle of my camera and hinders me from seeing any of the action. Its an extreme handicap against a thief in tight quarters.
Whats going on with this? Will we get PvE equivalents? Or will they be like so much dust in the wind?
Say thanks for the oversight and play on.
With all the other whispers weapon skins, they fold up nice and compact when stowed However, with the sword, only the first section folds down, giving the sword an axe-like appearance. Like I said, “very minor.”
I will no longer discount or try to supply reason. When BG cops out, bad things are coming…
I count 4 people in the BG pvp lobby……thats a bad sign.
The centaur version seems to have wandering kitten syndrome. Is it twerking or what?
I’m curious, which professions count as “most” for you? Of the few professions I’ve played thoroughly, I can say guardians and elementalists have great condition removal capability, some of which is shared with nearby allies. Warriors are decent as well.
I have a feeling you’re running into a condition build, which as you probably can tell, spams conditions and you can’t deal with it. That’s almost like saying “why don’t I have more invuln skills on shorter recharge because I don’t like taking damage?”. Learn to dodge and burn condition removals on the conditions that matter, otherwise counter with strong regen and bursting your opponent(s) down.
So 3 profs can remove conditions adequately, so its fine? Guess we should just axe the other 5 profs, then?
There is a serious disconnect between conditions received and condition removal. Conditional removal for most professions is a complete joke. Get 8 condis….remove TWO…..get them back instantly…..
Either give us better condi removal or tone condition dmg down.
How you expect to be taken serious as an E-sport with this horrible mechanism imbalance in effect is a source of curiosity.
I like the new system. My matches seem more balanced. But I have no authority to state that the system is better or worse.

wait for the nerfing….December.
Rank doesn’t equal rating.
Never said it did.
go search up and do some reasearch into how chance works
Pretty sure you didnt read what anet said they were going to do.
As far as I can see, this is bunk. Still facing off with 3 r15s and below, whilst the opposing team is all 25+. Don’t spit on my cupcake and call it frosting.
When another server gets to camping the spawn gates, I like to use a different point of entrance. The long way around saves gold on armor repairs.
I originally posted this, because, in my opinion, most of the skins that have come before this are an example of a plethora of junk. I actually like this skin. I wouldn’t mind seeing some new armor skins/just plain armor, though.
I hope something like what the glow krait is holding will be available to players. It looks awesome.
This game is not supposed to be balanced. Ever. The odds are greatly in the ghosts favor, and that is exactly how its supposed to be. Think hide-n-seek meets a horror movie.
“[Difficulty: Master] Long ago, the Staff of the Mists and the Scepter of Orr were given to the great nations of the world as protection. Predictably, those who wielded their power were corrupted. Terrible horrors were unleashed upon the lands once guarded by their benevolent power. The gods themselves were forced to intervene. They struck down both rulers, sealed the scepters within their tombs, and guarded them with powerful magic. With the Staff of the Mists released into the world again, I fear that the forces of evil will not stop until they possess it. Our only choice is to destroy the scepter. You must travel to the Hallowed Point and destroy the scepter. Only then will it be out of reach of the Margonites.”
This is all the info provided about said staff. There is no info provided about the hallowed point other than that the staff can be destroyed there. Considering hallowed implies some sort of holy ground, i would assume that this point has been sanctified by the gods, thus keeping evil out. Perhaps it is the ruins of the tomb where the staff was once kept?
Got pushed off the map, yet survived….no way to get back to map so had to commit seppuku via wurm. DUMB.
Getting the kitten out of overflow!
“Congratulations! You actually got out of Sparkfly Fen’s overflow! Now you might actually have a chance.”
Downed state is kinda crap no matter the class. Kinda wish it was gone. Downed should just be dead.
Not much of a fix, really. Placing a handicap? maybe. But outright denying due glory/rank….no.
Nearly every match on this map is a blowout. That spells broken. This map relies too much on PvE mechanics, the super jumps, the breakaway flooring, the super canon, the underground passage ways….every map, except this one, has a single mechanic that can turn the tides….this map is a traffic jam.
Worst map ever? Or THE worst map ever?
Why is this in soloq rotation? Bury it in hotgames like Capricorn and let us forget it ever existed.
I really like this event, however there isn’t much incentive to partake in it given the reward in comparison to its difficulty. The Frozen Maw is an easily comparable meta-event, but the reward is far greater given, with the chest and champ drop.
Can this event, and other equally difficult meta events, for that matter, be given a reward chest?
Consistently getting an error message that states that I must restart my client. Started occurring shortly after the most recent update to Clockwork Chaos. Seems more prevalent while I am in an instance or arena. :/
Um, you realize the cause of that “agony” is poison, right?
Poison is called poison. Agony is based off moving. Your argument is invalid. By that logic all degen is “poison.”
Are you seriously not able to follow your own argument?
You claim that the condition should be changed to “agony” because when you get stung it is agony. What I was asking, which you have apparently answered in the negative, is if you realized that the agony you feel from a sting is due to poison. You are getting poisoned and poison is agonizing, but it’s still poison. The powers do exactly what they’re intended to do already. This was the point.
In this case cripple is more useful for keeping them from running away because it slows them down. Poison also reduces their ability to heal themselves or be healed, which is also better.
Lastly, Agony is a mechanic in Fractals. The condition you are looking for is Torment. And while I would agree that Agony is how you feel while poisoned, I don’t know if torment is entirely relevant.
You are correct. I juxtapose my GW1 terms around. Its Torment Im talking about. Anyhow, how is having an abundance of cripple skills useful? Especially in a condi based mid ranged class? My, apparently bad example aside, having more conditions available, in place of redundancy, is bad how?

This skills condition is redundant. Cripple? The whole weapon line is rife with cripple, especially considering dagger is the best compliment it has. So with a sword, dagger combo, there are 3 cripple skills and 2 poison…
Given that the nature of this skill is hornet/bee themed, why not switch the condition to TORMENT? Anybody that has been stung be either insect, assuming they aren’t allergic, would explain it as a type of “torment,” not a crippling pain. Now that we have the proper condition, it should be added respectively….
Give rangers back their bite!

The point of a dervish was more towards personal buffing, while providing pbAoE (scythe attacks/instant enchant dmg)
As it is now, all profs have access to pbAoE attacks and personal buffing power, so I see no need to reintroduce a profession that has, arguably, been absorbed into all professions. If you say it like that, it seems like we only need 1 profession, because the other professions can fulfill the same roles.
Having different professions mean more variety, and in their own way. There are a million ways anet can introduce a class with the same roles as the current ones, but with different mechanics. That’s the whole point of a class.
We dont have the current mechanics to support this class. Enchants? No go. As it is, we all can buff ourselves…stabilty, retribution, etc… As for 3 foe attacks and the enchant PBAoE, which class doesnt have the ability to cast those? 1 sec trap etc, count.
All I was saying was that Dervish mechanics are spread throughout GW2 and we lack the components to make it happen as an actual prof. They were enchant heavy…..no enchants now.
As for a new profession, that would be awesome. I welcome that, but Im skeptical that it will be dervish.
That was 200 years ago. We know nothing else from that time period to the present day, maybe even his son didn’t continue this style. Maybe only until the foundation of a new order with only human in Cantha and a newly united empire became solid.
Then came the dragons, and we know nothing about if Cantha would open its borders to others now. But I guess humans could still go there. And maybe if Cantha needs help, Tyrian humans can convince them to allow aid from other tyrian races. Or maybe they don’t even need to convince them. I would btw prefer that to not involve the pact… just a buntch of adventurers from the races going to Cantha.
You’re right. We know nothing of the current emperor. Does that mean that Cantha ended their xenophobia, no. Is there dragons, we don’t know. Its all conjecture.
The fact that so many of you take this beyond fun, is ridiculous. Take it easy guys.

Also realize that Vael was meant to be mysterious…. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Vael
This was all conjecture. Simply put, Anet will decide.
Seems to me that the purpose of that areas might be to study corruption of the land done by Elder Dragons, posibbly to try and generate it, reverse it or general knowledge about how it functions.
Haven’t really seen the other areas, but I shall go take a look later tonight.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bubbles See the notes section. You are correct, sir.
The seers intention was to save the magic from the dragons trough the bloodstone, so I’d say they used powerfull wards so that the dragons couldn’t find or claim it.
The dragons eat magic. I can’t assume that the “seal” used by the Seer wasn’t magical in nature. They were very magical creatures.
