So I got my 5yr present and I noticed a box and so I preview it and saw all these items…so many…I clicked it and prayed for something good…I got a love struck axe which is awesome!!

Can we Like put theses in the Gem store? Or maybe buy with reward token’s or even event completions. This is so cool, I love opening it and getting something I DO not own but its totally random!

At Least with these you actually get something guaranteed unlike the BLC where its so random you get a bunch of crap mostly

I say good job Arena Net, really love the idea, till now this is the first time I have seen this in game, Though I do pop on and off at times.

I think it looks cool I have a question, I never have bought one of these pass’s from the gem store was always tempted though….Can this pass be put into the shared inventory slot, so all your chars can click and use? Or is it just 1 soul bound pass for 1 char?

If yes then ill buy some more Shared slots

I have Vertigo and actually take medication for it as well as chronic migraines. I have played almost every MMO out there, Rift, WoW, Daoc, Eq2 etc and never had any issues with becoming sick to my stomach while riding a mount until POF.

I have yet to buy the new Expansion, and until there is a some reasonable fix for this I will not. I was really looking forward to POF even decided to get Ultimate Edtion, however this is putting a damper on my Decision.

I have not been able to log in for 2 hours now, it keeps giving me a message error and no its not my I internet I’m able to surf web and play other games np. I really hope this is going to get fixed soon and they know what’s going on. Guess its back to other games for the evening sick of trying to log in.

I always thought the daily was a waste of time tbh and now I do them everyday because of the 2 gold, I feel its worth my time and effort now.

So I need a gift of Zhaitian for my Legendary weapon I want to make, however arena net since you nerfed Dungeons so bad no one even goes in them unless its story for XP. I have tried for over a week now to find one, heck even make my own and all I see is Story or people charging 5gold a run to let you join…that’s 15gold a day for 180 tokens….I already spent every silver I had to make this I cant afford that too and I should NOT have to pay to get this item.

SO Arena net wth did you not put those Gifts from every dungeon up for sale with a old currency like karma, bandit crests, badge of honor etc, etc. You said you wanted to push people to do fractals, fine can I get a gift doing a fractal? ( no) Then you introduce new Pre-Cursor weapons, awesome, however pre-cursor done and I still cant move on with no GIFT. // Scratches head// I DO Not see your logic.

And yes I have a Guild , but again it brings us back to the original problem no one wants to do these because there is really nothing to get but wasted time for most people, since all the vets have loads of Legendarys already.

Im currently lvling my elementalist who is lvl 67 and I wanna know if I should make her armor or if indeed this is a full set , do not wanna waste mats and time. @ Ven Zehn do you know specifically what you need to do to get the glove box? Sorry it says a Box of Armor that says to me a full set of armor, especially how hard it is to aquire these items since they are RNG. Do you have confirmation on this? Have you got the achievement to confirm? That does not include the Ley Line Collection in it.

1. Do you get a full box of Ascended Armor or is it 1 item you can choose from Completing the collection of getting all armor skins unlocked?

2. Can you buy the armor( ley line) anywhere like SW Cara box’s for tokens?

I know you can get them from Story quests Chapter 16, but I do not have 18 lvl 80’s nor will I ever haha, well technically 15 since you get the coat box’s from MOM event. I do the events once a day and have for over a week I got 2 box’s from pods…none from events, is it really this stupid RNG to get the collection done? At least in SW you could do Achievments to unlock them and buy them with currency, this is based sorely on RNG I love the Ley line armor sets, well done arena net, poorly done on acquiring them all.

So I read that we can still spend our left over guild influence at a merchant in guild hall or guild intaitve office, I have looked for 3hours and I can’t find any merchant or person to talk to, I have even googled and searched forums, we have over 1k and id like to trade it for something. Can someone pls tell me where I do this at?

Yes I have had a lot of Disconnects During Events like Teqatl and Vinewrath, so much so I need to be in a group or I do not get back in the same map as I was in, lost my teq chest today killed him ran to chest and BAM dc, came back no chest And now im trying to log in and keeps saying network error so ill try for another 15-20 before it finally works.

All These kitten problems since hoT never had any of these issuses before the new expansion launched, I really hope they are working on resolving them asap.

you also forgot to mention that it costs gold ( 5g) at least for the first tier to be unlocked per weapon you want, not sure how much it costs for Tier 2/3 but yeah. After I unlocked Twilight and saw what I needed and hearing horror storys of people saying the trophys are not guaranteed drops from events, that you will have to farm them for days maybe weeks to get 1, I said oh hell NO.

I went to the TP put in a order for my Pre and got it 5 mins later, This is how I made my First Legendary and this is how I will make all of them, especially ones like The pistol that is like 300gp lol for pre. I was really excited about this and the so called new map rewards which are also a big joke. After I make My legendary might be break time yet again.

I could have swore I saw some where that with HoT you would be able to do map completion over and over and everytime your rewards would cycle through, I even see what I can get bye hovering over the maps, yet when I finished Southsun Cove, I got nothing? And I tried going back to ones I have done before but its all 100% still.

So if someone can explain to me if this is bugged or what not id appreciate it, I did check notes and forums and saw nothing on this. Thanks!

This is sad. I enjoy doing dungeons and have felt them rewarding. Now with this change I will not even step foot in one. Tokens? I have most all the skins, I still have yet to complete some of them, but to me the skins are not worth my time, especially if you get into groups that are terrible. The gold was nice incentive to do them, helped with some of my crafting needs, now there is NO incentive to do them.

The bottom line is Anet wants us to stop making gold, because we are using are gold and buying gems with them, so they get no $$. IF I had known about all these nerf’s a few weeks ago id probably would not have bought the expansion or maybe not the ultimate edtion. I did that to help support your game with my pocket book, and now your slapping me in the face , thanks a lot. Untill I see where this is leading I will not be using my pocket book on you anymore.

So are you going to actually put up Halloween Weapon skins for gems? Its seems a habbit I see that only weapon skins are available Via the Chests. I would like to outright buy something for 800 gems rather than gambling, I have never bought 1 key nor do I ever plan to. Yes I can use my gold, but again 200 gold for 1 skin? I love this game sooo much, I just love it more if I had more options to buy with gems. I mean I buy gems to buy items not gamble. Im supporting your game, so maybe every once and awhile show some appreciation and put up some Weapon Skins!

From what I have seen so far it looks like the majority of HoT is going to be guild related, as in you need to be in a big guild to do new content. Im in a guild with 2 real life friends, and we built it since day 1, we enjoy doing stuff together and hanging out in our vent while doing it.

But from what I have seen it looks like unless your in a big guild you won’t be able to do much, no guild halls, no raids etc. I know im not alone that many people are in small guilds with family/friends. I really would like to know if we small guilds will be left out? If so I might have to refund my expansion, I still have time.

I know I can join other guilds, however that is not my play style, im a loner when my friends are not on, I enjoy the solo aspect of any MMO I play.

I got very little blooms due to the fact I went link dead, came back to see my dead corpse, get rezzed and all of my 15 stacks GONE!! I spent 30 mins and I got nothing And the sad part is I would have gotten something if I had that last 25 blooms, now all I got to show for this event is a bitter taste in my mouth.

So I bought the Heroic Edtion , one with gems, it says you get free character slot, but to my surprise I got 2? Im not complaining at all just wonder if this was intended? I had 6 now I have 8 plus 4 for beta.

I have mine in my inventory have not used it as of yet. I wanted to make sure before I used it that it was not a 1 time consumable. Untill I find out all the info I will not use it. Anyone have this on Live servers and know the answers? Thanks in advance!

I just bought the heroic edtion and got all of my goods except gems, which mail said 72hrs. So the mini pet is account bound, but what about the glider? How does it work? It says its consumable, does that mean its a one time use? Can I only have it for 1 character? Sorry for all the questions, I tried to look them up but could not find any answers!

If you pre-order the expansion do you get the rewards right away, like the gems and other stuff? I know in other games you do , so just wondering before I choose which one to order.

That price is way to high for what you get, the standard edition which would be the only one I would purchase is over priced. Im not pre ordering this and I will not be buying it till the price drops. Gw2 is fun but honestly I can only play so much, usually around 3 months then im gone for a few months then back again, I have not found anything worth sticking around for, I was originally going to pre purchase but not now. Ill stick with my other MMO which im enjoying immensely. And IF the price drops then ill probably pick it up.

What I would love is some actual housing, what I miss most about eq2, daoc and rift, is being able to decorate and make your home a home instead of a generic place for everyone, I want to decorate, I do not want to have the same housing as the other players, it seems most new games lack this and its depressing, because housing has been 1 of my favorite aspects of MMO’s.

And this is exactly why I refuse to buy these tools, 1000 gems for 1, id pay 3000 or higher for every char rather than toon swapping all the time to exchange them, are they nice , sure, would I pay for 1 for 1k gems, hell no, id rather buy them as I use them on my chars. Same for the Unlimted Savlage , again nice but not really you still have to Pay to use it, so why would I spend 800 gems and then spend more $$ in game to use a item, rip off, bottom line. And no the Luxury of not having to buy them when I need them and taking less inventory space is even worth it.

These items are for you to spend and spend so you have the Luxury of ease, well id rather find a merchant than double pay. Plus you can easily Hit B enter a WVW area then use the LA portal and free port. Some things are worth gems, these however are beyond a gem sink.

From what I was told by loads of people ( not sure if its true) MF is only good for Mob Drops, Killing actual mobs in maps etc. MF does not effect World Boss Chests or Any bags You open at all. IT does effect SW bandit Chests When you open them, not the bags you get inside of them.

I would also like more added to our wallet in terms of currency , so sick of 1000 bandit crests and keys, and Geodes sitting in my bags taking up space, I mean after all they are Currency so put them in my wallet pls!

What they need to do is increase the drop rate, im told its 0.00001 % or some really low % like that. I have Done Teq for over 3 months everyday ( no teq hoard, no ascended) And I have opened over 5000 Bandit Chests and Bags and you know what I have a big fat 0 haha, seriously stupid bad RNG for a item that does not cost them to make more players happy.

Honestly do not even do Teq/SW for anything anymore other than the gold I get from doing them, because Luck is the basis of this game and not actually earning items. I want more ways to get items I can Earn, and feel good knowing I spent 3 months doing SW stuff and got something I earned, not because oh look at that I got lucky!

My account was created the day of release, both me and my hubby bought the box set, actually I think we had a early start if I remember right, but yes Day 1 I have been playing. So my account is as old as GW2 is I however did take a few breaks from time to time. And I have been doing Teq now everyday for 3 months or even more I lost track tbh, and have never got any ascended.

My Friend/Guidly did teq after me coaxing him into it ( he does not like doing group events dung) And on hes 2nd try got a Ton’s Weapon crate, I was so Jelly!! 3 months and nothing here lol and he gets 1 2nd try!

I Honestly think that Arena Net should give everyone a Teq Hoard the first time they kill Teq 100% like the Cara Coat Box, and any extras would be RNG. I mean there is probably 5 + skins I want, that would at least make me some what happy knowing I got 1, and try for my next with RNG. Somone said the other day they have been doing the event for a year and no Teq hoard, I can’t stomach knowing this might happen to me too

Im not sure the Dev’s even read this post, I have seen several people ask for gem items that have been already introduced at some point and are no longer available, and I have yet to see 1 of those items re surface as of yet. Rox’s Quiver is something I desperately want for my ranger, I have also seen lots asking for the Bunny Ears and other sets of armor. You would think they could add these items back, if nothing else for a 24hr sale like they do with other items easily. Come on Arena net people want to buy gems and buy items, make some $$!

Does anyone else but me feel like doing the Daily Achivements 3/3 to get 10 achievement points is a waste of time? I know we get everything we would get thru just logging in everyday for free. Back in the day I enjoyed doing them, because you would get your mystic coin, laurel etc. Now it just seems like its a waste of time. I mean yeah you get 10 achive points and random karma, exp and gear ( that u salvage).

I just want to feel motivated to even do them everyday, the rewards are just not worth it. I mean even adding 5 silver or some such would make it feel like im working for something, I usually just skip them tbh, but id enjoy them more if it wasn’t so pointless.

Its worth it, I have 2 accounts for that reason now. I would not even consider making a Legendary without this! Now that I have 2 I can get the mats to make my first Legendary a lot easier and at no cost to me! So yes its def worth it, and of course if you do not need the mats you can indeed sell them.

I did this last night ( necro) the only 80 I have and got all 4 chests, I did exactly what I do everyday, which is participate in all events, and I got 4 chests. I still have no idea what makes you get less chests, im not lying when I say I participate in everything, I do not AFK like a lot of others do, so im still un clear as to how I get 3 chests, 4 or even 1, to me it just seems buggy.

I will not give up doing the event, even though I probably will never see a hoard or ascended crate, Im happy that others got some. I just wish they would put the skins for sale in gem store, all I want is the skin the stats are crap imo. Especially some of us who have just bad luck, would be nice to get it, at this rate I could do this for 5 years and never see 1 haha.

Yes I know, I was just speaking of the bad RNG overall this game has compared to others. Tbh im just frustrated I think that’s why I quit the first time. You want to make your customers happy so they will buy gems, not make them sad, depressed etc, then move on to something more dependable.

Yes, Just like every night, in which 1 get 4 chests every night. When I first started doing that event, I was new did not even know what to do really, I did not even defend id just clear the beach and I still got 4 chests. And I always do stuff on other maps before and after the event.

And this is a Daily reward, so you get the bonus chests every reset.

I have only done the 1 event on that map each night, for the teq hoard. And as far as the other stuff I do a different defense every burn and Im there till end, same as today and I got 1 chest, honestly do not think its that, getting 1 or 4 is just a bug, I do my part, I even WP when I die and run back instead of lying there dead till someone res’s me. Most days I get all 4, but today was the first day I got just 1, and I know the chances are slim ( and ill prob never get the teq hoard) but I feel cheated for having to do a 15 min event and getting only partial rewards.

I have been doing Teq everyday since I got back 3 months ago, trying to get Teq hoard, which sadly after 3+ months still nothing I hate you RNG!! Anyhow when you finish the event, you get bonus chests, normally I get 4 ( blue, green, yellow and orange) rarely I get ( green, yellow, orange) however today I only got 1? Just 1 It was the orange one, so is this normal? IS it a different amount every time, is it how much DPS you do or some such?

I mean its bad enough I still have yet to get any Ascended crate ( not even from the 3000+ bandit chests I have opened) but now I get cheated on 3 chests today that could have been a Teq Hoard

I love outfits, I do not have to pay extra for Transmution Charges. They need to make more imo, there are so few atm, and only 2 of them I currently have. I wish that there were more options with them, but overall I love them, so make more please!

I know of the Ascended Quiver, and I could make it as I have the mats, however I do not like the look of it, its plain and ugly imo and I do not need ascended back item And yes I guess I could see that making something a limited item would make it Hot, however I also think that they would make a steady profit if item was always for sale all the time, loads of new people or people returning, to me its still silly.

Does anyone know when Rox’s Quiver was last up in gem store? So I could get a idea if its going to be back soon, im assuming the longer its been gone the better chance I have of it returning soon!

So I came back to the game about 2 months ago, love it! I am wondering why gemstone items get removed? I see the same items there that was on the shop when I left a yr ago. I really want Rox’s Quiver for my ranger, I see so many with it on and I missed it, because I was not playing at the time, so when do they bring items back? if ever? Today a new outfit and as always ugly, eck! Still nothing to buy.

I’d love the harvesting tools, but 1000 gems per seems really steep, if it was all 3 that would be worth it, or even 1 per every char you make, same with the portal stone 1 for 900 gems, yes I know you can pass it around but lets face it, how many wanna do that? Honestly I do not see any value in the gem store, except the extra bank tabs, collection increases, char slots, that’s worth it. I want to buy something im getting my $$ worth.

P.S Please my Ranger hates shooting arrows out of nowhere, she wants to draw them from Rox’s Quiver

I would assume they would drop in price. I Have never been lucky enough to get a Pre as a drop nor had the gold to buy one, as someone who does not own a Leg Weapon I will be doing the Crafting my own , and yes it will take time, but hey what else is their to do in this game really? I would really love this myself I took a extended break from GW2 and missed a lot of items on the gem store that id love to have, ’Rox’s Quiver" my ranger would love this back item so when she is shooting bad bad enemys she looks awesome doing it! I also missed out on Kasmer’s Staff Skin that I really want, I love pink!

Honestly have not seen anything on the gem store to buy over the last few weeks, except the shadow dye and in the end I bought it with gold cuz I wasn’t lucky:)

Bring back Rox’s Quiver! You brought the Lich outfit back, which I got last Halloween, now I just need a quiver for my poor ranger! Also add more armor/weapon skins, there has not been nothing new in a long time and I bought gems and im just looking at them!!

I still do not own a legendary I have played since launch, took a break here and there, was never lucky enough to get a PRE drop and im currently saving enough gold to even buy 1 so I can maybe sometime make one. Should I just wait then? Since it looks like I can craft my PRE next expac? Kinda confused tbh.

Sadly I have played since release took a few breaks, and have no where near enough gold to buy the pre or the actual leg. There are so many I want too! But honestly its the Skins for me not the actual stats as the Ascended Weapons are better imo. Ill keep saving and hope I actually get a Pre drop or enough to buy a Leg right out from TP.

I heard there is going be a collection you can complete for a Pre next Expansion too, so I might wait and get it for free and save the mats, no matter what I want one of the Leg weapons, they seem so common now almost everyone has 1 or more, I have no idea how people get so many I do not even have time to get just 1 hehee

What about Rox’s Quiver? I just got back to the game and id really love to have this for my Ranger! I know there is the one you craft, but I think its ugly. Really want to get this
