The mini games also give karma. I can’t remember the other games, but I know southsun survival gives as much as the daily.

Also if you just want to grind it out, there are event chains that you can easily solo on a short timer. The centaur one in the mid level kryta zone comes to mind.

I think I’ve made ~20-50k just from my casual play in the past couple of days (not a ton, but if you grinded events/play more than a couple of hours a night, you’d get more).

Drastically increase the amount of karma you get from succeeding in events.

Reduce the karma gained from fail events (if any earned at all).

Now everyone has a reason to WANT events to succeed!

It’s a great idea, and A-net acted upon that, well half of it anyway.
They nerfed the amount of Karma you get from failing events, but didn’t buff the amount of Karma gained from succeeding events

Yeah I’m kitten ed at that too. Right when I’m building a legendary they slap me with the karma nerf, now I barely get enough karma for all the obisidan shards I need.

They could have at least nerfed the price on those

they’re account bound, only used for clovers, an exotic, a gift for a legendary, and the new ascended stuff if the wiki is correct.

I can’t fathom why an almost incomeless currency warranted this kind of nerf across the board especially when it’s few purposes were rng boxes, temple armors, and shards as well as dirt cheap cooking materials.

Hmmm, 87g, I think my benchmark is going to be 200g, gonna use half of that to kit out a warrior and half for myself.

Sort of lost on what to flip now, I could gain bigger but the thought of putting myself back like that is terrifying, but feels like I could be moving up.

You know what would be interesting, though? Is if they had something like an autotune slider in character creation. Nothing huge, but something that would adjust the pitch of your character’s voice slightly. I’m not sure how feasible that would be, but it would add an extra element of uniqueness to our characters, I think.

All I can say is norn women need this.

actually i think these Minipets dont fit into the game also the Backpiece and most of the Super-Weapons doesnt do too! (I guess Greatsword and Sword are ok and they actually fit to asuran heavy Tier3 armor, but especially Staff, Shield and Backpiece just shouldnt be in this game in my opinion)

Well I raised myself to 8g with my fractal dailies, and with that I decided to spend 4g flipping during the evening/early morning.

I’m proud to say I made a 2-3g profit while doing WvW to pass the time

However I ran into a few hiccups:

Item movement stagnating: Do you cut your losses and just sell them at buy order, or do you let them sit if the price isn’t fluctuating

Aggressive undercutters: Do you start a price war, or do you just match those guys throwing stuff below a decent profit margin if the amount of goods is huge.

I’d like an LFG system, more refined than that of “Anarchy Online’s” or That of this game’s predecessor “Guild Wars.”

I think it also needs a REALLY solid place on the GUI if it’s implimented.

I’d like to be able to search by a characters level, desired area of interest, and notes for groups reqs/needs/wants/preferences.

So…my gold income is terrible, my guild doesn’t do much in the ways of money generation (or at least the big wigs don’t share their “wealth” of knowledge.) So i think It’s time I learned some more about economics on the trading post and replace the tedium of world bosses and rng within rng to fund my fashionista urges for all my characters.

He or the NPCs are just instadying to the adds with no chance to protect them, as well as a veteran pack stacking over the entrance.

My guess is that the Black lion chests gives the option for different rewards through the years, and we’ll also have static rewards (Probably the exotics.)

I escorted a level 7 for his kessex and gendarran fields pages, I can’t believe the aggro radius on the mobs for a low level…it’s freaking insane.

So the asurans and Charr lucked out and sylvari seem to lack emotion period (I’m not bitter at all, I just think Fort Trinity is a stupid name.)

You know what we need? Zaishen dailies that have random areas and events to do/pvp objectives/dungeons.

I bought the town outfit recently, liked the aesthetics on it, and it sold itself when the broom was shown to have a flying animation. To my horror though I flipped the camera 180 degrees to see something that quite frankly put me off.

The smile female toons get while riding the broom. I can’t really put my finger on what the heck is going on with her face…It’s a very large smile and doesn’t fit any of the facial expressions my toon has ever done in cutscenes or while idle. Did she find a salad to laugh at?

Am I the only one who hates this? (Disclaimer: I only have a female human toon with this outfit so I may be wrong that it affects all female toons in such a way.)

Edit: Decided to post this in here due to the reply of the dev saying that the incorrect listing was due to the maintenance and felt this was also an issue created during that time.

My ultimate goal is a vanity set involving t3 armor, just the chest, so 30g is a far off number, however I’m at the point where I can work at that goal and not be spending money left and right getting my character’s stats maxed. It’ll be like getting my first GW1 prestige armor all over again: Looking fancy and feeling like you earned every peice of that armor.

I’m looking at the TP and waiting for ectos to skyrocket, there are 0 ectos being listed in the TP by sellers and buy orders asking for huge quantities. My only guess is that because of the loot DR, the supply of ectos has hit rock bottom.

To expand: DR leads to less 70+ rares in circulation, less 70+ rares in circulation means less chances for ectos, less ectos being sold means having to shell out more to craft exotics, crafted exotics rising in price means that the bare minimum to be exotic’d out will rise. There are more dominos in this path but in the long run: The Guild Wars 2 quality of life just got more expensive, because crafting, being decently geared and not being able to retain money because the prices of goods rose while the average income of the playerbase stays consistant is not a good thing.

The hairstyles are certainly hurting, I can list quite a few games where I’d constantly switch styles through the in game barbershop. Right now this is looking to be RIFT where I pick one or two styles out of all the races begrudgingly and never change.

Hell, can we get some normal long hair styles? What’s with all the fancy noble hair-dos? Shall I go and run back to GW1 and take some screens of all those varied hairstyles you had?

The gloves aren’t duelist, duelist shows over the sleeves on the karma set I believe.

Density is way too high, aggro radius is crap, too many mobs of the same category leading to anti-farm code being hit faster than initially intended (seriously just get rid of that, or tone it the hell down for us human players.) , certain events not able to be failed due to bots/ease/zerg tactics. Karma is…pitiful, silver rewards are the same (2 silver doesn’t even cover the waypoint it cost to get me there.) , broken skillpoints.

On the upside there are plenty of people around and mapchat is lively during primetime hours, you aren’t event starved because of player density.

I’d give it a 4/10 mostly because it gives me money and people to talk to.

I’ll echo the sentiment that Trahearn is another Kormir, no one liked Kormir. She was a glory proxy, you do all the hard work and she gets the lore recognition and cutscene praise. Same thing happened and people aren’t happy (again.) So when you expand the story to another dragon please have him sent to fight the den of really hungry rabbits.

Well, the story took a nose dive after the orders me thinks, some of the starter zones bit it and there’s a lot of filler because of how it’s spanned over 80 levels. It’s not the greatest thing, but it’s enough for me to try and see what happens before and and up to the end of the orders. (Because everything becomes the same after those arcs.)

I have a dream mix and match set of armor I want….t3 cultural human medium chest, some one sided shoulder pads (Probably from HOTW), t1 cultural pants and some run of the mill “Hide under the leggings” boots and the slight hope that they review the Anti-farm code and dungeons to make both avenues of play more accessible.

The pace of leveling was brought up in beta, it’s sad to see that it persists now that the release zerg has quelled. Hell I just blew 5g crafting to keep in line with the level of the zone (Should not have tried a 5 day old reddit guide.)

I believe DE’s are based on how many people are in a zone, so since everyone is at level 80, you’re getting less events and less callouts for events.

I’ll agree with the notion of having more weapon sets. Longbows of the singletarget or AoE variety please (They also look nicer than shortbows.)

This is sad, I feel for you guys and hope you’ll find a respectable group of people to ally with in the following weeks to come.

I also feel sorry for anyone who footed the bill for this man. I don’t see charisma or an award winning personality to warrant the wasted 100 gold. I don’t see anyone following him in the future as long as this thread is civil and helps to spread the word of what a terrible leader is in your midst.

Has anyone considered that the anti-farm code might be in effect for player kills?

This restriction was going to happen, it has been abused in WvW and PvE for node farming. It’s just a day, farm some karma and gold or something while you wait.
