Even with the changes you proposed though, I still don’t think it would compete with all the damage flying around now. It really needs something else to be worth taking over DP.

In case you guys have not yet noticed, the Engineer Grenade Barrage skill and Shrapnel grenades throw more grenades than the tool tips says, this skill also does up to 15,000 damage against medium and light armor berserker classes in 0.5 seconds and also has 1500 range. Please fix this gamebreaking and ridiculous bug.

Your honestly just wrong about it, they are all very strong classes in their own right. Learn to play them at a very high and dedicated level and maybe you’ll get it. Ranger especially is over the top if anything for the minimal amount of skill or coordination required to be effective.

Longbow Ranger doesn’t require a brain to play and do well with. Yea you die if you are focused, like every single other glass cannon class. Shocking.
Stability change seems like a really really bad idea… what if you hit the same line of warding twice, you’ll lose stab for every single time you hit it? What about slick shoes? Headshot spam is a boon rip on stab stacks?
Whatever Anet did in the feature patch, the scaling on phantasm damage has gone up like 30+ percent.
Traiting a phantasm build is letting me dish out 8k illusionary duelists and 7-8k ibersekers easily. On a downed thief I managed to see 12-13k before he vaporized.

Mesmer: Literally HELL mode for me, They have a mantra that can instantly remove 3 conditions instantly 3 times with no cd (this effects all allies around them too), Null field basically makes anyone standing in it immune to conditions for the time its up, a phantasm that removes conditions. and any projetile that goes through the fields they pop up removes conditions. Then they have a skill that trades 3 of your boons for 3 of the conditions they have onto you.
Ele: Whenever they are in water form im pretty sure they are just immune to conditions completely.
Thief: Any sword speced thief has a 0 cd condition removal and return, out side of sword their removal isn’t to hard to deal with.
warrior: not much here

These runes have Ferocity on them instead of Crit damage, I am asking if they are going to use Ferocity in sPvP instead of crit damage, if not then obviously there will be a discrepancy in sPvP and PvE rune sets.
They should give people rewards based on how many rank points they’ve earned, not on how many levels they’ve gained.
Reward from 55-56 giving the same champion bag/pve nonsense or whatever they are going to give us
should not equate to the reward from going 68-69 and so on.

I might have missed something obvious from the recent ready up streams as I didn’t get to watch all of them but I have a few questions…
From what I understand, the amount of Crit damage available is being unaltered in sPvP, but Ferocity will replace the actual stat “Critical Damage”, does this mean that instead of say 50% crit damage I have in spvp now, I will have 750 ferocity in sPvP, or will this still be called crit damage in spvp?
The reason I am confused is if Crit Damage is not being changed on a 1 to 1 ratio to Ferocity in sPvP, how will rune sets work in sPvP, will a rune set like Superior Runes of the Eagle give crit damage in sPvP, and Ferocity in PvE? Or are all Crit Damage giving rune sets being completely seperated from their PvE counterparts?

The only time I am afraid of Elementalists would be in tournaments. In my opinion, Elementalists have the highest skill cap. And therefore the full potential of an Elementalist is rarely seen. In tournaments, I see Elementalists wreaking havoc on unsuspecting foes. They are much like Necromancers whom use staff. If you leave the Elementalist unchecked, they will bomb your team/surrounding allies with AoE damage. Unlike the Necromancer, however, this is raw damage, and cannot be mitigated by condition cleanse. They have been nerfed close to the ground, sure, but they are much in the state that thiefs are finding themselves. They are still a threat. But you need to be VERY skilled to play one effectively. Unfortunately this effectiveness comes from being cornered into a few builds. That is the main problem, Elementalists lack diversity in my opinion.
No. Trickery thieves are top tier in viability. Eles are no where close to as effective team fighters as necromancers.

as proven statistically over time, those so called “hardcore” players have stopped playing guild wars 2 while most of the casual players remain.

i for one LOVE my ele in pvp.
it really is the mage class right now, you can dish out a colossal amount of damage but you’re extremely squishy to compensate.theres nothing quite as epic as melting the faces of every enemy on point within seconds…
4k meteor shower ticks, 3k lavafont ticks, 3k fireballs all at the same time.
its ridiculously high aoe damage, and it comes at the price of being ridiculously squishy, fair trade
or pull out the ole’ fiery greatsword and let your enemies watch their healthpools evaporate like butter in a frying pan. >:-3ofcourse its only for those of us who like the playstyle that massive damage and low survival offers.
i can’t speak about bunker specs because i don’t play my ele for that, but for glass cannon ele is the king of damage
Try playing against people who don’t eat crayons for breakfast and stand in telegraphed aoe and red circles.
Everyone should only be allowed to play condispam necro, condi warrior, condiphantasm turn off brain and win mesmer, press 1 to win ranger, or spam aoe on point engineer. All other classes may delete themselves from the game, thanks.

If anything mine field needs a buff because compared to necro you can terror chain an engi for at least 7 seconds which is enough to kill engineers. Also considering the stunbreakers nobody sacrifices useful skills to thumper turret toolbelt. Necros don’t deserve to cry about being countered.
Lol, a power necro cannot chain fear for 7 sec and he doesnt have terror ( 100% fear duration condi necro can only fear for 4 (5 if in 600 range) second if you arent stupid enough to run into the spectralwall)…
And by the way, going condi necro (or any condi spec) now is too risky, they get hard conterd by diamont skin eles, to some extent ar engies and warriors.The safest necro build is at the moment mm…

Yea I agree man, playing my easy mode faceroll classes has become even more enjoyable after the patch, but watch out for those ele’s man, i keep seeing all these op ele’s beating up on helpless condi mesmers and warriors :/
For one, I can understand peoples frustrations on the way the game is becoming, and personally I don’t have too much of an opinion, at the current moment I’m really indifferent. But on the other hand, don’t you think it would be a wise move to try and make suggestions that would improve the game as a whole?
Instead what you’re trying to suggest would only divide up the community even more than what it is currently. And while I understand why, but it seems this idea is just giving up on the game and more or less severing your own arm before the rest of your body gets infected type of mentality haha. Iunno, just sucks that it’s come to that for some people.
