Raids are first content that try to incorporate roles but the game was designed as role-less

What Anet should have done first is:
1. Major ballance patch and traits-skills overhaul for all proffesions and define roles for them.
2. Introduce Raid content

This is paradox created by anet
One of the main selling points of gw2 was NO roles. To hell with trinity (tank, healer, dps)

…and now we are searching for roles because of raids ? Whats next dedicated tanks, healers ? Anet slowly trying to introduce trinity ?

I think guardian is the least touched (balance patches) proffesion since release of gw2 so yes it doesnt have role because that was the mind set of anet back then

I throw them into mystic toilet to get rare ones. I only sell rare ones on TP

Also saying that HoT is expensive in your country… well you live in digital age everything is online so embrace the oportunity

as I said I dont believe that players are stupid so they are not loosing anything.
On the other hand this is another oportunity for traders to buy for historic low prices and later when prices stabilize ressel to make nice profits

this is just my opinion…

Lets take a look at the bigger picture
All T6 basic materials are tanking in price and the supply is going up like crazy

Here we have ascended armor and it requires to level crafting to 500 which requires tons of T6 material

here are 2 possibilities of what happened
1. Traders are stupid. They stockpiled T6 material before ascended launch was anounced and now selling it for the minimum price (in some cases the historic minimum price) so they are creating a loss guaranteed.

2. This is anet intervention (they are pumping T6 mats into the economy to lower the price for causual players so they dont get very frustrated in leveling crafting to 500)

I think that 2 is true because trades are not stupid and wont sell T6 mats for the historic minimum prices only to create loss

if you dont have starting capital say at lest 200g then you would not make any gold from TP so hop on your lvl80 and go farm champions/dungeons

so you can count the min, max, average damage done for every weapon-skill then divide it by skill time and you get DPS

Communism has only failed on the large scale. Communism is still doing great on the small to medium scale. Matter of fact, it’s the only thing that keeps capitalism running.

GW2 is as close to communism as it can get with one difference… almost free market.
Look at the equality in this game not in gold but items (easy and fast to get all exotic gear) , look at sharing experiences, resources
And really you dont need the gold in order to be competetive with others. With all easy to get exotics the performance of your character is almost equal to every other character in the game
In the sense of equality, sharing and not needing the ingame currency to be competetive and equaly performing with others. The GW2 is pretty good working COMMUNISM

the core playerbase of GW2 are causual players
Causual players dont have time to grind 24/7 so they buy items from TP rather then grinding them
Remove TP from GW2 is suicidal idea

I stopped playing 99% of the content
I am bored with ascended weapon crafting. I only crafted one weapon. I am bored with the repeating living world, instability of game in large fights = I dont WvW anymore…
So as in many other MMO’s I’ve become bussinessman. I only login to buy or sell on TP.
You know I need some risk vs reward mechanics. When you trade on TP there’s allways risk that you loose more money than you make.
When crafting BiS asc. weapons there’s no risk its just boring, very long grind. And I hate that mechanics

I would like to ask for a dev statement about the item prices up on TP.
A legendary is 2000+ gold, okay… We can make it.
BUT
Any BL RNG skin has a price of 200+ g (the Anachrophobia was ~60g few days ago, sure sure no manipulation)
So question is, what you devs think about these prices?
Can the aimed CASUAL players get it within acceptable time standards?
No? So the unique character creation that the game is offically about on level80 is ruined because of these prices? Why TP has no top price limits to stay values touchable for the most of the players – not just those who grind/farm/exploit/hack the game?

(For me, its reachable, but I’m far more than a casual except I will never farm hard for anything – because it would been against my views.)

And why BL Scraps aren’t a sure drop at least of One on a single BL chest use?

this really shouldnt be called “balance/skill update” but instead it should be called “cosmetics/description update”

Anet should introduce new more powerfull foods because all food crafting was destroyed almost 5 months ago with the cheap supplement dragonbash food.
Dragonbash food is still in great abundance on TP and depleting the current stock can take another 6 months

I cant finish scarlet invasion without crash or disconect
I cant finish jormag fight without crash or disconect

To start making some gold from TP you need investment capital.
So I recommend you to farm at least 150g then you can try to make investment long/short-time, high/low-margin, low/high-risk

I started with shortime investments, low margin (max 12%), low risk. But the market changed significantly since that but it is still possible to find some investment oportunities

The magic find update was a correction of a broken system (or an attempt). Getting MF was a huge waste of stats, effort and time

A 10/30/20/10/0 DPS guardian with all possible buffs averages 9921 DPS with GS alone. A 30/0/0/10/30 axe/mace warrior gets 9619 DPS by comparison.

I also have lunaria, solaria which I bought as part of my MF gear…
Luckily I’ve managed to craft only one celestial armor (chest) when I heard anet going to remove MF from celestial gear. Then I salvaged it.

But I’ve learned something very important here what Anet does and its totally unfair.
When they introduced first ascended accessories the solaria, lunaria rings vere the only ones with MF 4% (among ascended)
Then they introduced new asc rings with 10% MF so if I knew this I would wait to buy myself those (10% is way better than 4%).
Now if i bought those with 10% MF I would be able to convert them to new rings (after the MF removal)
So I am punished for something I coudnt anyhow influenced

Another example scarlet invasion boxes. i was doing invasions and ofc. opened boxes sold greens, salvaged blues, whites
Now If I knew (but I didnt) I would keep all boxes until new patch and then open them and I would get the new material (blood dust or whatever), new exotic weapons introduced with new patch (small chance but could) and ofc I wouldnt sell green items and salvage all greens, blues, whites and get lucky essences

Again punished for something I didnt knew, couldnt influenced
What kind of approach ist this ?

Lots of battles, AOE loot, coudnt keep track of items
at the end of invasion, looked inside my inventory and I see Leaf of Kudzu

It’s not impossible if arenanet wants it. It’s impossible because arenanet doesn’t want this feature for now. But even for 2500 gems tons of players would still buy it, this is a huge income for anet. (assuming many players will buy these gems with credit card)

I would suggest to use scepter instead of staff due to right hand strenght ofc.
Also I am using signet of judgment. This is very strong signet after it was patched. It breaks stun apply weaknes and provide 10% damage reduction.
As far I know the damage reduction is applied after the damage is allready reduced by armor so I was able to calculate the damage reduction by SoJ and “convert” it to +armor
Here is the result (which only applies to my guardian) my native armor is 2486 but with SoJ I receive as much damage as if my armor was 2763 (without SoJ) which is compared to the offensive strenght of this build very good number

GW2 have organized content at the level of max 5 players
Then there is unorganized content – Zerg

Now with the Teq., zerg is not enough to take the dragon down you need to have around 100 organized players but in the game there is no foundation for that (cant create raid group, some players will end up in owerflow…)

I dont get this crazy idea by anet to create essentially a open world Raid (by raid I mean organized grp of players) requiring around 100 players
That is a really stupid way of introducing raids to gw2 because there are no tools in game to manage, create raid
