I’ve farmed this for 2 nights and haven’t gotten it. Im stuck on 12/13 and have ran many of them multiple times. For this event, and others like it in the future— it would be nice if the zones you have cleared would be shown. This information is clearly being tracked (or the achievement wouldn’t work), so how about sharing that info with your players? It can be highly annoying when you need only 1 or 2 more parts of an achievement and you end up having to rerun the parts you dont need for hours on end just because you don’t know what it has or hasn’t given you credit for. Thanks!

It feels pretty fail. I have never wondered “why am i playing this game now?” with gw2 before…. but that’s how I feel right now. Ive got all the skins I want for my character. Now what? I get to sit around and hope I can get into the new content that only spawns once an hour and hope I dont get stuck with a small overflow population. Not really enjoying this.

I’ve loved it so far – the only complaint I have is NPCs referring to Divinity’s Reach as “DR” in dialogue…. that’s extremely immersion breaking, to be honest. Otherwise fantastic event!

Why? We use initials like that in real life e.g. LA and KL. I don’t see why Tyrians wouldn’t do the same.

Mostly because it’s all of the sudden. Never in the history of the game until now has an NPC referred to Lion’s Arch as LA, for example, (though players do) – or BC, or RS – it’s the same with Divinity’s Reach; never before now has it happened in game (or in the fiction as far as I’ve read). And it wasn’t just Scarlet, I’m pretty sure I heard Rox and/or our new asura sidekick do it too.
It just felt like poor editing on the scripts before they got to the voice actors is all. (i.e. it was meant to be Divinity’s Reach, but was shorthanded while writing, and never got changed in editing – pure conjecture, but that’s what it feels like.)

I’d have to check through old content, but I’m pretty sure we’ve had ambient NPCs referring to some cities with nicknames since launch. I understand why it might sound jarring to some, but we’re experimenting with dialog to make it sound a little more natural.

It doesn’t sound natural at all.

I wasnt in overflow… but the game crashed… I get back in and bam— Im in overflow.. and then a new build hits.. and now im doing nothing. This once per hr content idea is enough to ruin an otherwise interesting event.

I give you an A for concept, Anet. But a D for execution.

I’ve played almost nothing but ranger and d/d ele. The D/D ele, in particular, is what I play the most—- and the vast majority of my time is spent in WVW with some spvp thrown in when Im short on time and need a daily done.

In short—- ele isnt what it once was.

I went Necro and I’ve only gotten him up to 52 after a couple of days but so far, I think I prefer it. Im at a real disadvantage in terms of gear— and I miss the eles mobility, but over all my damage feels like it hurts much more and I find that I can stand my own against any other class in a one on one situation, and have held off up to 3 at once in SPVP by utilizing lots of condition removal and heals.

I took a break from the game for a couple of months here recently due to work. When I came back, I noticed that my controls are little iffy. If I press D, my character turns…. unless Im also holding W for forward movement. My arrow keys work for movement, my mouse works for turning, and I can turn left while running with the A key… D only fails when Im trying to run forwards (W) or backwards (q)…

To make things more confusing—- sometimes it works fine. But much of the time, it does not. When it doesnt, it makes WVW a real pain.

Anyone else with this problem or an idea of how to fix it?

Of course not, he goes to WvW to have fun, and double teaming the other guy is tons of fun.

HAHA BG spent the next 2 weeks after taking first getting spawn camped by JQ as SOR took its table scraps and capped the rest of our bases. For those 2 weeks— all we got to read in the forums was how 2v1 was just part of the game and how we should enjoy our time in T1 because we’re on our way to T2. Spawn camped? Sounds like karma to me.

No offense to the OP, as I believe everyone has a right to an opinion. But since you posted yours here, Id like to offer my own.

Essentially, I wish this thread was deleted.


Why?

Because these fights were fun. The first boss, there are tricks to make it super easy as is. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, Im sure someone in one of your groups will figure it out eventually. If anything, its too easy. BUT its different from just about any other in the game and as such—- its allot of fun to do without those shortcuts.

As for the last boss, then one in question, Im D/D ele and it’s not easy. I also run a mes and a ranger, and Im here to say—— the last boss is the best and most fun Ive had in this game yet in a pve instance. It walks the perfect line between being easy enough that you can do it without it being a total pain in the rear— but yet hard enough that death is a constant possibility. Yeah, sure—- its hard to keep up pets/illusions/golems/whatever.. and its hard to position since you actually have to move around and pay attention. But that’s why its so fun.

Why is it all of the best content in the game is just temporary?

For real. Adventure Box, now this. Its great. The last boss is a blast, keep these guys around on a permanent (or at least much longer) basis. One day events, and one week events just isnt long enough when your players are enjoying the content!

I did some searching but didn’t find what I was looking for beyond player speculation. I’ve been lucky in that all of my exotic drops so far I suppose have been from mobs in there, so to find one that was different was very weird for me. Thank you for your reply all the same.

I was told it was a bug by several that they never bothered to fix. Another person told me that the exotics dropped in chests are pretty much karma skins, they just wanted people to have another way to get them besides karma. Im starting to believe that is the case. If so—- I do applaud giving people more than one way to get karma gear— but it should be with fractal drop turn ins that grant karma. I mean come on—- karma is by far and away the single easiest to farm currency in the game. Most players have thousands of it, if not hundreds of thousands of it—- and nothing to spend it on anymore at this point. So at the very least— this stuff should be turned into regular drops. Its not like it drops that often and it really cheapens the excitement of finding an exotic.

Hi, I just completed FOTM lvl 18 on my elementalist, The Presence.

During the 3rd phase I got an exotic from a chest. Only one huge problem. Its a bow (so I cant even use it) but even worse—— its accountbound! I cant even sell this thing?!?! Clearly this must be some sort of bug. Any chance I can get the item replaced with a proper version or random drop, because this really ruins that “oh wow an exotic” moment.


Upon even more investigation it would appear that its pretty likely this bug is on all tribal weapons outside of carrion— as its the only tribal set that I even see listed on the AH.

-note edited the problem. Item isnt soulbound, its actually account bound. I dont understand why.

I went D/D and was able to solo well past my level. Story level wise, I had to actually stop doing those quests because I was doing levels so high that I was too low to use the rewards that dropped. So the good news is—- there is probably just some minor changes that you should make to your play style that could result in some major easing of the difficulty for you.

First and foremost— when you cant stand and just nuke your threat—- you gotta learn to kite. I cannot stress this enough. You’ll pretty much use either fire or earth for this, and you’ll just want to drop aoes as you run past mobs. You can use air for swiftness to keep away from the mobs if they get on you— and water to regen your health.

For kiting, earth is probably a little better than fire most of the time. The trick is to target an enemy— then run around and spam earth 1, and earth 2 when its up. Earth 1 has a superior line of sight—- in that it doesn’t really have one at all. So you can literally be hitting a guy chasing after you without ever having to turn around and face them. So long as you can keep your distance— you can use this method to solo just about any melee you might encounter in your quests.

Naturally that also means taking out ranged is your priority.

Signet of Restoration is also a better heal than what you start with, as it will heal you every single time you cast a spell. So in a pinch— you could always use air to keep away from your targets and while you’re spamming earth 1—- you’ll be healing as well.

Another trick I had to do in some higher level quests in order to make it through was to take advantage of the friendly npcs. When they died— Id kite the enemies away, run back and start healing them. When the enemy npc would catch up—- rune and kite away again. It might take a few tries, but once the friendly npc would come up and start tanking a bit for me again— I could go back to dps mode till they died. Rinse and repeat.

Hopefully these tricks will help you a bit. Just remember—- fire is awesome, but you gotta use all of your elemental sets to get the job done much of the time.


Oh and ps—- some toughness wont hurt either. I took everything with toughness I could get.

wvw almost unplayable with lag

Just what the topic says. The other day sm had a big 3 way fight. The lag was so bad that people in smaller groups as far away as ogres were experiencing major skill lag. Tonight we have a 3 way in one of the borderlands and its so bad you just run around hitting buttons and pray that maybe it will go off and someone will have been there when it did. Its like wvw the rng edition. And ontop of that Ive seen reports of some graphic cards burning out. So here is hoping something is done about this soon.

At this point wvw either needs better servers or player caps need to be reduced—- or pvp as a whole in wvw needs more redesign to punish zergging.

So there are numerous posts of JQ&SoR Vs BG, yet there are little to no pics or mention of the sabotage. I am surprised that the BG forum warriors hadn’t bought it once this whole time since they complain about insufficient 2v1s, but not a siege sabatage.

I think there were a few posts about it in the beginning of last week, feel free to check the topic

Yeah last week we had someone building trebs in off the wall places, then another was build in durios. When a certain server then went after durios—- the player that built it kicked us off of it and aimed it at sm—- controlled at the time by a different server from bg or the one attacking durios.

We begged the guy to turn it around and fire at the incoming attack wave—- but the player never responded. He once got knocked off and we raced to get it back, only to have him kick us off again since he was the owner.

I took screenshots of this and reported it on here, but a mod deleted my post for calling out the attacking server so you probably wont be able to find it…

As a side note—- after durios fell we later took it back. The treb was still there, and the person who built it was right back inside it.

There are far to many trolls in this forum. Me I’m not “Could use a score update as well. BG is my old home” (3days ago).

Way to go name calling. I was on BG for some time before joining sos. Many from my guild joined BG along with the rest of the transfers there. The post you quoted of mine was when I was watching their progress while I was waiting to be able to transfer with them. How that makes me a troll I don’t understand (I mean do you eve know what a troll is?).

Best leveling build? D/D is not going well

I leveled using d/d and thought it was easy mode. So far, I’ve lvled to 70 but I did it far faster than I did my warrior, mes, or ranger. I was able to easily do my story quests up to 7 or 8 levels higher than me, which gets you pretty killer xp, by kiting in earth and aoeing with fire. You get so much mobility in d/d that I rarely felt squishy because I could get away and heal so easily while still dosing.

If my memory serves last time BG was in Tier 1 you guys did very well on weekends right? I think I remember you guys having a pretty good lead coming into Monday.

Yeah, in tier 1 they had the lead from starting day—- and then faded after the weekend passed. JQ has also traditionally done worse on weekends and much better during the week. So at this point, the scores aren’t telling us enough. It could be that BG with SOS is now big enough to bump out JQ…. or it could be that after all that cash spend on transfers—- the new BG may not fair any better than the old SOS.

The scores come middle next week will be much more telling and important… As for now, they don’t prove much of anything.

I was having problems, so I turned my graphic settings all to low and upped my internet speed from 3 to 6. Its not very rare for me to crash.

Now Im going to 30 monday, so hopefully then I can turn some of my graphic settings back up.

It has gotten boring. Numbers win games— you have 24/7 coverage and run with full ques? you win. Its as simple as that.

As a result, Im watching my former tier 1 server implode—- guilds are mass transfering to other servers. Some wont be able to afford it right away or will be unwilling to pay for a transfer— so they will probably just give up and quit. Im seeing the same thing across multiple servers right now…. the end of free transfers might mean more money for anet for awhile—- but its coming at the cost of players……. players who wont be buying gems or store purchases ever again… and when players start to leave an mmo—- its very very difficult for that game to ever recover.

I hope anet figures things out soon.

Looking to Create WvW Class - Opinions Wanted

Hammer Guardian is fun. Its melee— but you get a good amount of blocks, healing, and you hit like a brick to the face.

Hammer Warriors are also fun and in the same vain and offers some cool play options—- such as hammer gun builds that give you range and strong melee——— or hammer bunker builds that bring strong dps and strong survivability.

Some servers have huge population advantages during certain peek times in their tier. Last week— they were all complaining about the que situation.

This week— the que situation seems to have died down and instead everyone else is complaining about the zergs and that its not fun anymore.

Can Anet find a solution to make everyone happy? Will this clash of frustration be the undoing of gw2? Which group should be appeased if only one group can be made happy? Discuss.

Check the forums, Anet—- players are not happy about WVW these days. Here is what we need ASAP to save it:

1) Guild Commanders—- (can only be seen by your guild on the map page)

2) Culling—- fix it for the love of god. We want 100% priority on seeing our opponents—- even if it means we cant see our allies.

3) We need reasons for players to log in and play—- even when losing. They can even be the same reward as those for who are winning— I mean we dont really get anything for winning as it is now, so I really dont think anyone will care if its the same for everyone. The world bonus’ are not enough. Give us a daily, or a weekly— something.

4) More rewards for defending or capping with small teams—- the game rewards the team that can zerg with the most players waaaay too much.

5) Buff out manned like mad. The rewards mechanics are not encouraging people to log in when numbers are down. What good are they when you’re just getting killed by huge zergs cause your server is empty? Give us big bonuses to things that really matter—- like toughness, vitality, and power.

6) Introduce dynamic events in WVW. The more you control— the more dynamic events will be likely to spawn on your side of the map. Dynamic events should be sort of like the bugs you have to exterminate between the green and blue areas, in that they are somewhat time consuming but optional—- but they need to have a consequence for not doing them—- such as spawning aggressive creatures that will attack and slow down players in a wide area around them. These dynamic events should ignore players who do not control buildings in the area, and should serve as a detriment to overextending too much.

Example— Taking control of an enemies keep could have a chance to spawn a dragon that will attack the keep every so often. The dragons attacks could include aoe damage— that inflicts gates, walls, and siege in its way in addition to players. These kind of events inflict supply, time, and gold costs on dominating servers and help lower the advantage curve of having more players.

7) In addition to buffing out manned to make it useful, spin off the current out manned buffs into a new buff that scales depending on how out manned you are. No ones on your borderland but your opponents have a full server? That certainly should warrant a huge reward for your time…. Make it a big enough reward and people might have a reason to transfer to lower pop servers just for the chance.

8) Take away the JP for the winning team. Your servers ahead in points? No free siege for you.


The point of all of this—- WVW needs more to encourage competitive play and not just to reward the server with the largest population. We all benefit from having more fun when it feels competitive.

Oh—- and I almost forgot:

9) Bring back free transfers—- but make them only available to servers on the bottom tiers and only available to servers on the top tiers. (IE— Tier 1 or 2 only may transfer to the servers currently in the bottom 2 tiers).

There was a discussion early this morning on the SOS side. The general take away I took from it was that there seems to be a major burn out on WVW. Many former full time WVW players don’t feel motivated anymore. Tier 1, from an SOS player side, is pretty much a nightmare these days.

-You can log in with your guild and take and hold a map during guild hours—- only to log back in and find EVERYTHING has been lost during off hours due to a lack of coverage.

-Battles have devolved into nothing more than hammer/culling/aoe trains. Winning or losing, battles don’t feel engaging anymore.

-There isnt enough of a reward mechanic to motivate people to go in and try.

You will still see me on the battlefield, but I can see a large rift in morale this week on the SOS side.

WVW neeeds individual scores, a way to reward a player based on time spent actively engaging WVW— win or lose. Ideally— a player logged into wvw for a few hours every day who is constantly engaging the enemy, defending, or trying to siege should get the same if not far better rewards than the winning teams world bonus’.

This way, even if your server isnt doing so hot—- you will have a reason to keep going back in—- building up your personal points. These points would best be done as a series of weekly achievements that unlock a permanent buff for the week based on each tier accomplished.

AoE Limit

The other day we had a nice fight going in EB. It was probably 30+ on 30+. The fight went back and forth, siege was built…. siege was destroyed. The fight was out in the open, and people were fairly spread out. To be honest, it was a really fun fight. Then a commander ran behind a building and most of one side followed behind him… I watched them throw down some mass invis and run back around again… they stormed through the other zerg, hammers dropping, d/d mages dropping their fire/earthquakes… and within a few secs it was over. The bigger your zerg is when you culling/aoe and the faster you’re moving—- it takes almost no time to run through even a fairly spread out area and wipe out enough that the rest will have no chance… you guys can romanticize all you want about dodging away or standing apart… but reality is something different. Clearly, there are some who overly rely on these tactics here, and some who probably play on lesser tiers where maybe these tactics aren’t becoming the rule of the land…. but they are broken. Just how it is.

Also— to the guy who genuinely tried to sell me that the damage output of elementalists isnt on par with warriors….. lol. Elementalists can aoe and burst an opponent down like no one else. They have more mobility than most other classes can dream of to boot. Theyre not as good till you hit 80, but once you do and gear geared they’re insane. In a regular zerg, Id concede they’re not as useful as maybe a staff build that can AOE from range—- but in a culling zerg they’re a house because chances are your opponents will be dead before they can hit you.

I don’t think there should be an AoE limit at all. If you are too stupid to get out of the fire you deserve to burn!

The problem is in culling. Youre standing there with your 10-20 buds and you see another group approaching that looks about the same size… you prepare to engage— and then bodies litter the ground. You’ve just been culling trained. Before you even saw your enemies you where killed by hammers and their crazy control effects, D/D mages and their insane burst, etc. And there is nothing you can do about it.

Why 24/7 wvw doesnt work in EU!

I know this is part of the problem—- all the same—- I would personally extend the welcome mat to any EU players wishing to join us on SOS. Currently, EU prime time is our weakest time slot but we’re able to hold or own the rest of the clock. So if anyone out there wants to jump into a tier 1 server where your time spent WILL make a difference— please give us a consideration.

Fix culling yes. Nerfing AoE will require entire classes to be redesigned from the ground up. Not only that, it is not needed. The reason why zerg balling around works to begin with (and the resulting culling advantage) is because AoE is highly ineffectual due to the 5 target limit. If AoE actually could put a dent in them, that tactic would disappear as it would force people to spread out and actually do something that requires thought.

Note: I am not complaining about zerg balling really, I think they are easy to beat open field providing you aren’t heavily out numbered. The only place they are really problematic is in tight quarters.

AOE is already getting nerffed… its not a matter of IF anymore, its a question of when will they implement whatever it is they’ve come up with.

“There are a few different knobs we can turn in regards to AoE some of the bigger ones being:
Radius of the AoE
Frequency of the AoE Damage
Damage of the AoE
Max Targets of the AoE

Currently, some players causing the AoE are able to do more damage to one person while also controlling a portion of the field, compared to a player with single target damage.
In our balance discussions we always look at what these changes could do to PvE as well as PvP. Any changes we make will undergo a lot of testing, both internal and by our trusted alpha team. It is important to understand that we are not doing a blanket nerf to all AE’s or a dramatic adjustment of the damage AoE’s can do. There may be some cases where players can build for AoE damage, but are just not viable or other cases where AoE is clearly the dominate way to build, and as such the other builds get left on the side lines. Its these classes/builds that we are concerned about."

In other words—- not ALL AOE is getting nerffed……….. but I think we can all guess which builds are going to see some changes…. Infact— there are 3 that are pretty broken in culling zergs in particular that are likely see the hit, and I think we can all guess which 3.

As far as Im concerned—- its a shame one of these three servers will have to ever flip back to tier 2. I have huge respect for BG—- but SOR/SOS/JQ I think have all proven all they have to prove this match. Scores have been tight— and no one server is really outside of beatable this week. JQ has the advantage as the only server with solid 24/7 coverage—- and Im not knocking them for it—- but the fact that they can hold such a crucial advantage and for the scores to still be this close really says something for everyone. So from SOS to JQ and SOR—- good fights….. actually, Great Fights!. Thank you!.

My sole complaints—- culling AOE is being used by all 3 servers. I don’t know that Id call it a clever use of mechanics since we all know culling is busted, but I struggle calling it an exploit either since its being used so much by everyone these days. In any chase, it does feel a little cheap. I hope Anets AOE nerfs get here soon, and I really wish they would find a way to fix culling—- but I suppose those are complaints for another thread.

Again though, it was fun this week.

All the problems with the queue right now is a bug u can take 1 min queue and a guy who queue at the same time as u will take a queue of 1 hour, this is just Anet not doing his job, alot of servers with the same problem.

On other topic, I hope Anet tell us what is the new miracle formula for wvw (if they have 1), nice fight till now, exept for those fight againt some guys with zoom hack, destroying siege inside the walls.

Ehhhh….. Well you are right that it IS a bug that some people are sitting in que for long periods while others are getting into WVW after entering que after those people with only a few min.’s wait. Anet has said as much, and that they are working to identify and fix the problem.

However, the lower player cap “bug” that people are complaining about which people think is creating these long ques that shouldnt exist—- well that is NOT a bug. Anet has said that they have the data for how many people are on a given map for each server and the numbers are there. The servers with the longest ques are simply overpopulated and will have to decide if they would rather be on a winning server but with crazy long ques—— or be on a lesser populated server and be able to play with almost no que but winning will be a bit more of a challenge.

In that case, SOS could use some euro coverage. We have little to no que times other than Fridays.

I read a few official postings in other threads, this is my take away:

1) People sitting in que for long periods while some jump ahead of them in que and get in after only a few mins IS a bug and will be fixed as soon as they can identify whats allowing it to happen and fix it.

2) The new cap on maps is intentional and IS NOT a bug. Its there to keep maps more even. The upside: servers over populated in a given time frame will not be able to outman and over run other servers that are undermanned as easily. The downside: servers that are over pupulated in a given time frame will get ques. They seem to home that people on said servers will transfer to less populated servers over time to smooth things out…… only they took away free transfers to ALL servers… so you will have to either deal with the que, quit the game, or pony up some gems.

Id rather have culling let me see my enemies than my allies. Culling is being exploited to no end now.

Im on SOS, here in Tier 1, most of our ques are less than 10 mins. Ive noticed most of the people complaining are also only queing for EB, which can have longer que times during peek times—- give your borderlands a try. Still having problems? Then your server is probably overly populated. Give another server a try.

If WVW ques are a bug, dont fix it.

I would have no problem if they added smaller Maps to WvW later that field lower pops so people can do smaller scale fights but the Big Maps should be all out large scale war, that’s the point of WvW.

I love huge scale fights— but I dont love servers winning simply because they can outnumber another server 3 to 1.

So Id suggest they come up with a formula that allows as many people to play as possible— but low enough that most servers can field regularly.

So I guess they would have to figure out the average number of players each server has logged/qued into wvw at any given time during a 24 hr period during a week, then average that out by the number of servers to come up with a good fair number. If they just picked one at random and its too small— it needs to go up. If thats what they did—- then leave it be. Im really starting to believe that is what they have done too— as lower pop servers aren’t having issues… its mostly present on higher pop servers—- with those that over recruiting during free transfers experiencing the biggest hit.

If so— maybe the answer is letting some migration to occur, followed by server mergers.

Outmanned buffs would be nice, as someone suggest above—- but I have yet to see where the buffs really make that big of a difference in most pvp in an mmo. Even if you hit harder— being outmanned still means you cant cover the map the same as more feet on the ground could.

In any case— I respect all of you who dont agree with me. Everyone is different. I enjoy even matches and having to out play your opponent, and I completely understand that WVW is more Zerg mind driven— and that others prefer it that way.

Sort of related… Id like to see the wvw JP expanded and turned into 160 man 3 way brawl overflow zone for those waiting to get into wvw.

Im pretty sure it isnt a bug…….. its a lowering of the number of people that can be on a map. This, if so, is good news. Several of the top servers have overly populated their servers to ensure theyre always running on max 24/7—- and since most servers have at least 1 weak time frame—- it pretty much gurantees a win. By lowering the number on the field— it helps to even the playing field. Lower pop servers benefit from this change—— higher pop servers suffer…. in the end it should encourage players to transfer to the underpopulated servers, and the balance of power in the game should shift to being much more even over enough time.

ummm where is this “who cares if its better or worse if its still broken and OP” button?

I have no idea how they could ever do this—- but Id like to see the damage you can take be limited to only the characters you can see. If I can target you and you can target me—- all is fair. If you’re rolling in a huge blob and just aoeing and smacking people dead because they didnt run when they thought they where only about to encounter a few enemies—- thats not so fair and everyone knows it (thats also why they do it).

Everywhere I look, I see people complaining about the ques for getting into WVW. Heck, I was one of them Friday night— it took me hours to get in while others were reporting que times of only 10-15 mins. While I certainly think that part still needs to be fixed (ques should be based on time in que, if people are getting into a map in less there is a problem), I’m also going to go against the grain and argue for keeping the population caps inside the WVW maps at their much lower current levels.

My argument is this:

1) A smaller player cap on each of the WVW maps allows almost all servers to fully man all 4 WVW maps at once.

2) It makes the clock count that much more. Now you know that your efforts will really matter in the over all score—- and that your wins during the day wont be lost because your server doesnt have as strong of a night population (for example).

3) It will give players a reason to transfer to lower population servers. Until now— winning in WVW meant server stacking. The higher player population your server had— the more likely you could man all 4 maps at once and thus win. Now that fewer people are on the board though— it will also mean longer ques with less of a reward system for stacking since your opponents—- even with a smaller population- will have an easier time also manning those off hours. Overpopulated servers will just have a harder time getting their premades into wvw— while underpopulated servers will have an easier time of doing so. This should encourage an eventual leveling off of server populations and balance.

As evidence of my argument I would hold this weeks scores as some early evidence. Scores are tighter than they’ve been in a long time. I know in Tier 1, every moment in WVW feels epic.

To bad we got double teamed and lost everything not to suprising but still. I just hope one day that BG will realize that they can push SoS on EB. Yes they finally did push SoS…when they had no other opponent. Either way JQ will keep fighting and go for 1st while dealing with BG aswell. Good luck to all the guild/players for this up comming week.

When I think of JQ I think of carebears and it makes me sad. They love to double team, but man— if theyre on the other end of it the tears are gonna roll.

Come to SOS. We can always use more NA players. We are currently the number 1 server in the game (and have been for some time), and can always use dedicated players. We have 24/7 coverage, and are constantly adapting our strategies to fit against our opponents. No matter if you’re wanting to keep your current guild, or merge into another— Im sure we can easily find a place for you.

So why should you guys thinking about coming here? One reason. With the free transfers gone your next server may be your last chance to move as a guild. Why settle for being stuck in mid tiers forever, when you could instead come to the top and see for yourself what all of the fuss and fun is about—- so here is hoping to fighting with you soon!

Do not join Sea of Sorrows, as their ambassador completely missed the mark and didn’t even read your topic. They just saw, “Looking for a New Server!” and copy-paste-spammed you.

The servers that I’ve suggested all suit your needs in some way. In my opinion Yak’s Bend would be the one to go with, but since you don’t like facing zergs you might have more luck on FC or HoD. Both are also solid servers with solid communities. If neither of them appeals to you, then ride the ship with IoJ and see where it takes you.

I cant speak for the other SOS guy as he was speaking only for his guild. But as an SOS player I can tell you that we have not just one or two, but many many well organized guilds and we run 24/7. So no matter what class you are or what time you play on— you WILL find a home. And SOS didnt get to number 1 and hang onto it by just noob zerging. So check us out. As for guilds, ONE is currently recruiting for players that play often. Thanks!

I have a question for the SoS commanders, at what point numbers wise should a guild get in contact with you guys, like 10,20,30 on a map?

whenever you want, we have a few guilds who field only 10, or 15.
