You kinda late, too late buddy. The game already lost huge amounts of players due to lack of diversity. Even myself only spend 1-2 hours and logout with sore neck.

The spam is real and it takes no efforts or skills to land it, since every build is an aoe fest. This reminds me of WoW pvp, stun lock to death and huge stacks of HoT damage and the kittened mechanism of CC.

The new expansion will probably hit or miss it is purpose e.g. daggers for warrior, yeah good luck.

It is not Anet fault, their system is rigid and the players are to blame for abusing the ranking system.

When players using alt accounts to up their ranking or paying others to opt out of a match and dodge Qing and duo abusing, this is what you get. The system is not that perfect to begin with.
If you remember the old days, before there were a ranking system, the game was much more enjoyable and populated. Now, all you get is experienced players versus elite and system abuser.

GS and Hammer need a rework anyway, Hammer F1 on zerker mod is useless and GS rush still misses targets even without blindness.

Things to fix Hammer, have F1 as aoe knockback with small duration of might. Have GS Rush into leap not sprinting. There are other ideas could be suggested tho.

Will result in longer wait time for your game, the population is not that great to begin with.

Current pvp builds are just boring, I went for 4-6 hours to 1-2 hours per day and sometimes I skip pvp for WvW.

Also real life issues require my attention.

Whatever you do, do not go PVP. The level of toxicity there is way off the roof. WvW is friendly along with PVE.

If you like PVP, get ready for a huge blocking list.

Since I bought this game until now, I never bothered with so called Living World. I just leveled my way normally on first campaign and went WvW and dungeons and PVP. The PVE never was my attention and never provided the fun I needed.

HoT gave me a little bit of boosts to play PVE, but it was short-lived.

Good! but this came in way late, since people like me are already left or leaving for good. I am still on the game whenever I get the chance to play, but not like before.

I only login to pvp for my daily, since it is the fastest one to do, other than that is plain boring with brainless community. Hell, even Grim Dawn is way better than this MMO :O

They should’ve done that since beta but no, everything that has GW1 feels must go away.

This happens with me, only to see afkers, paid players, and clueless brainless players too dependent on game mechanism.

This is why you getting hard times. I now only play for an hour on this game since all it brings is frustration and headache.

Yep, the pvp only cater for cheaters and abusers. This is like holding a kitten sign says “This is only for cheaters and exploiters game.”
It is not Anet fault, it is the players who wishes to buy their rank to the top, an illusion for the brainless lot.

You can’t do much, when more people are leaving GW2. The level of toxicity is the biggest problem and the class balance was the biggest set back for many players. WvW and PVE is by far the best to play and PVP will only bring you headaches.

I mean for heaven sake, why are they included beta maps in ranked?

Their PVP start was bad and distant to fail in the future. All they needed to do is follow GW1 footsteps and that’s it.

Well technically it is what placements are for, so described players end up in lower ranks until they improve. Problem is, as new player (to pvp) you start with average MMR so you are placed higher than where you belong and it takes time for them to tank down.

You can take your placements and shove it up where the sun do not shine, since people already abusing this system by making alt accounts and getting their way up to max rank. The OP is right, put a rank requirements and be done with it, grinding 30 ranks is not that hard and makes you familiar with pvp.

This should be a feature to skip not forced. There are already tons of windows opens when you finish your match which is really annoying. Yea what a joke of a game.

Do you think Anet will listen to you? As long Tools likes their gameplay, this will never change. It is already been a whole year on this meta and nothing changed, in fact it went far south and got uglier than before.

It is a hint, you should be careful where you spend your money. If these pathetic were wasting their time making such feature, do you think people will buy in their products?

They should focus on fixing the glitches and bugs in maps and classes weapons and overall balance. Yeah, good luck getting a cent from people who can’t absorb these changes.

They should at least added an option where we get to skip this feature. It seems with every update, it is a forced pipe up where the sun do not shine-plus the goons who keep cheering for these changes are the biggest tools in the entire game.

This is not the issue, the aoe damage has to go or nerfed. Why the hell an aoe skill does more damage than a single target? something should be looked at or this game will be empty in pvp section.

You should’ve seen my 12 lose last day. What you saw is only 1 specimen. I suggest to take it easy on pvp nowadays and just play WvW or pve. Too much imbalance and slow updating sessions.

That’s what I am doing too. Login to do the daily and off to WoW. I can’t play this game anymore without have a terrible headache for staying more than 1 hour.

Doing HoT maps is way enjoyable than SW itself.

Grind is part of any MMO. From lvl1 to lvlmax. You grind your real life too. Grind money, grind your stupid farm, grind your girlfriend, grind your wife.

Just play cleric warrior build. That’s what I did. healing my teammate for 6k every 20s seems fun to me.

Nowadays, zergs just baghunting each other. I rarely now play WvW since it is all about baghunting.

Am afraid that EOTM will be dead soon. I have been in 6 EOTM yesterday and it was just baghunting. Within 30min our zerg went from 50 to 15. After one hour of baghunting, the tag left so anybody else.
Most people like to do the objectives of the map and when they can’t do it, they just leave. Anet did a great job on the new BL, but some people wont understand that baghunting is what killing WvW. Anyhow am only doing EOTM for dailies, since this baghunting is getting excessive.

Haha, why dropping warrior? try condi warrior, am currently using longbow/swordhorn build in pve. For pvp I use maceshield/GS with shout heals and 2 endure pain and 2 shake it off with cleric amulet. The biggest mistake to play warrior is stacking full power, this crap never worked for war. Warrior is tank build with sustain condi damage. Now I can do 15 stack of burn damage with my LB plus 8 stacks of bleeds. Play outside the meta, meta sux for war.

kinda, but am staying in GW2 until it dies. Beside that most of the MMORPG are the same, why playing anything else. Am waiting for Grim Dawn full release and Killing Floor 2 full release and Unreal Tournament Online. kind do not like playing unfinished games.
