Dave: I (and I believe quite a few others here) took it personally because you came here with a very clearly perceived air of superiority and condescension.

You clearly missed a point here. Air of superiority… Condescending… That is just outright offensive…
Final word as I am not going to waste more time explaining this…
A LOT has changed both in the game AND the playerbase in 18 months… You are talking about how it WAS which isn’t exactly up to date…

DaveGan, you sound like me 6 months ago. I am not saying you will change or that I have, I think I just experienced different gamers than you have. You seem to take it personal, which isn’t needed. And don’t forget that I have sailed (and still do) the same boat you are currently on. That attitude you discribe is not something I have problems with dealing anymore, they usually see things from another perspective rather quick. with a few rare exceptions.

And by some, I really mean some, not 9 out of 10 players. But some players really do become workaholic in the game.
As much as you like discussing calculations and spreadsheets, I like finding creative solutions non-excluding anyone’s playstyle (if we talk about games)

>>We want to play with people who equate “optimal” and “challenging” with “fun”, not with “work”. Every opportunity is made to reach out to “casuals”. But we’re not going to go all the way to them; they need to take a step forward themselves and meet us in the middle. We will lead them, but we will not and cannot grab their hands and pull them.<<

This is also my view, so I don’t get it why you seem to take this personal.

I agree on the QFT as well, or Quoted For Truth, BOTH sides to ONE story.
As active commander in multiple areas of the game, past and present leader to guilds and a Q&A representative for some european communities I have witnessed all your mentions and more up to a point I needed a break from both Q&A and commanding. This is the other side of the coin, true. My experience is that a different approach works wonders but you’ll always have those few that ignore everything from anyone.

However one of the problems that creates this behaviour (on both sides of the ‘coin’) is META. For each part in the game the playerbase created almost a law of how to play . So far I can only think of one event in PVE (Tripleheaded Wurm) that REQUIRES a 90-95% fixed setup of players, but we are talking about the biggest boss in the game here. The rest, not excluding anything, including dungeons and WvW require any law on how to play. Guides, fine, as long as there remain guides and don’t become the law.

I will not call names of the renowned guides/communities, but by mentioning communities you force my hand to bring this up. Not being member of a community has multiple times led to verbal abuse from THEIR part towards other communities or individuals for daring to contribute builds, tactics etc. and later on claiming that very contribution to be their own.

Sounds pretty much as players/communities that DO take it seriously and do think they are better, that don’t ask for help and wave off any advice.
Which completes the circle if you ask me…

Guides show more options to do something, the ’hardcore’way to give it a name, the ’casual’way, and for the specific wurm event ‘the just about only way’ (and even then the wurm has a little room for flexibility)

a Law simply states: This is what must be done and there is no other way for you to even enjoy participating in whatever we are doing.

the we say, they say part…
That is just making an exception for non-casuals to be allowed gaming with casuals. Also… a casual gamer isn’t by definition an unskilled/new player, just a different type of player. Hardly discrimination, but exclusion which might even be worse.

I guess I am blessed with my ability to play the game with all kind of players.

Truth be told… It is usually those that join my party with the META-law imprinted in the playstyle that I don’t like.
Rushing off like haywire robots with that fixed C++ like paradigm burned in their eyesockets. Some of them totally forgotten that it is a game they play, and not a job they have…

A little defense here for the hardworking Devs.

I played GW1 and just about daily active since beta GW2.
In line of the genre game this is, there hasn’t been ANY, not one other MMO (or similar) that was able to keep me satisfied for more than 2 months.
Sure Anet will have lost players to other games and the releases in the upcoming weeks will probably take a lot more players away from them.

But if your preference is MMO, there simply isn’t a better game and there hasn’t been one since they launched!

This is PARTIALLY personal opinion, the other part is simply how it seems to be (reviews, awards. etc.)

They made a great game, set a new standard. As expected, gamers grow familiar or even bored with a concept and demand even more. Guess what… You are currently playing the best there is and some of you are almost forcefully trying to get more. Patience will pay off. Either with a feature pack, or a new, yet unseen MMO.

To me, it is not the game that starts to get on my nerves, as it clearly does for some of you.
To me, it is, with all respect, the unforgiving mass of players that don’t want to assist new players into the game, so that one day they have the same skill as the one kicking them from party. The elitists in diva behaviour, AP-checkers, the verbally abusive towncriers and commanders obey-me-or-uninstall folk, that are pretty much making every map or event, unwelcoming for the new and uninteresting for the veterans.

My post isn’t exactly without harsh words and someone is just bound to reply to it in a flaming matter, but at least I kept it civil. In contrary to over half the posts on this forum lately.
I completely understand Anet that they keep their attention to those that are NOT showing up at their forum doorstep with torches and pitchforks and let all the riots solve itself.

And I absolutely love the B-day Blaster!!! Cake for everyone!

Konig, good to see you are still digging in the lore. You are legend!

In viewpoint of Firstborn-Secondborn-Thirdborn etc…

There is mention of Ceara/Scarlet being 16 cycles old.
This just popped into my mind and post it before I forget,
but every ‘tier’ of born Sylvari’s seem to be happening within 1 cycle. And not every cycle brings a new batch of Sylvarii. Else we would have had a lot more generations of Sylvarii.

Makes me wonder what tier of generation us as players would be.

Anyways Scarlet is secondborn no doubt about that.
I am curious about a LOT more things, but I think the details come to us within weeks in LS content. Also the Worldcup just kicked off for my country (Netherlands) so untill next time XD

Game Updates: Wardrobe, Transmutation, Outfits

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: pzyonix.1645

pzyonix.1645

I only have 2 really BIG disappointments here

1: (was to be expected) Skins you owned and used in the past, but not in your possession anymore, or transmuted over, are not unlocked.

Tier 1-2-3 Cultural Armors add up to the lost value quickly, as do Dungeon Skins. Ofcourse we did not hold on to these skins for ages because we simply do not have the space for it. But we can get those again…

The one for me, unfortunately, that I will never get back, are the Fused Gauntlets.

2: This one is very item specific: The Dragon Emblem Shirt….
Why…why did this one have to be a tonic? Why not a Chestpiece Skin!?
It is questionably one of the most exclusive items we could get and I was hoping to match it with the Celebration Hat and go into battle that way.

An item so rare that everytime you show it players ask what it is and where to get it deserves to have more use.

point 1, okay, we can get those skins again eventually, (except my fused guantlets), no worries.

point 2, make my day and change the Dragon Emblem Shirt to a skin instead of the potion it is now.
Nothing cries out -like a boss- more than defeating elder dragons in a Tshirt without getting dirt or bloodspatter on it.

I use 20/20/0/0/30 for Fractals with 2 sets:
PVT with zerker trinkets and Axe/Dagger // Staff for DPS
and Rabid with Dire/Rabid trinkets and Scepter/Dagger // Staff for Condi
and mixmatch trinkets and weapons around with a specific armor depending on the party/fractal needs.

This setup gives me the freedom to swap utilities and traits around without having to worry about the returns.

I can focus on DS with lifeblasts reaching over 4K on crit and pierce.
I can focus on CC with spectral skills and marks, provide support and keep grawls away from the NPC’s to be sacrificed in the volcano Fractal better than most professions.
I can average bleeding DoT with Scepter/Dagger on 2700 per tick. and spread it around with epidemic (+ other DoT conditions)

1 trait setup, 2 sets of gear. Ready for any job, able to tweak the build for better use per Fractal.
You won’t be a 100% meta necro, but at least you are put to 80% good use in the whole run instead of 100% in the first, and 20% in the next.

Doing lvl 49-50 on a daily basis with randoms with almost no complaints.

[Suggestion] Mounts?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: pzyonix.1645

pzyonix.1645

There have been mounts yes or no topics and rants for GW since before launch…
I don’t see a use for them, I don’t care about them…
We have WP’s, we have dodge, we have swiftness and we can run pas 90% of all the mobs in the entire worlds if we want to.

Fighting with a mount? That is like using an Omega Golem in WvW, That is as far as I want to go. Any other use, more dynamics…please don’t.

Restrict any potential mounts for specific missions/dungeons/usage and limit the use.

Talyn put THE reason for NOT adding them to the game: There are no reasons to add them as we have no need for them and the game was built around not needing them.

Stat Combos

Ascended versions of Giver weapons, Trinkets and Armor with a current+1% boon duration on all pieces and current+2% condition duration on 1h weapons and a current+4% condition duration on 2h weapons.

++

We have Ascended trinkets with shared statcombos (ex: Dire+Rabid). Weapons and armor with the same statcombos with the same converted ratio per stat would be an option.

Any major/minor combination of Vitality/Toughness/Healing Power. Bunker all the way, but not a single buff to damage. Because of all these defensive stats, the ratio needs to be tested/adepted to not get overpowered
——-
Vitality Toughness Condition damage, (Condition version of Sentinel armor, with Vitality as main stat)
——-
Celestial minus Critdmg/Ferocity, but added Boon duration or Condition duration.
——-
Last:
Single stat armors that have a similar functionality like the Rune of Exuberance.
Your single stat increases 3 other stats by a set percentage (lower than the usual minor stat ratio.

Apart from all this, I am looking forward more to new weapons per profession or new functionalities for armor (The wardrobe was one of them <3 )

Slaying Potions, the double-edged sword

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: pzyonix.1645

pzyonix.1645

That is not confirmed as far as I know.
Also, why the big deal?
Yes the potion behaves different from the description, no excuses there and yes they should fix it BUT fix it PROPERLY. Proper fixes need time, research, manhours. Fixes for less important things will be put on hold. I’d rather wait another year for this fix than have it fixed tomorrow and have to wait for some crashloop bugfix put on hold instead.

Basicly the potions now do exactly what zerker armor does for you:
You hit hard and take hard. Nobody got problems with zerker armor do they…

Just to bring this up that there is no excuse for an ingame feature to behave in a different way than it should. There is also no excuse to start flooding the forum with wailing which won’t speed up the fix of something far less important than most fixes we have had in the past months.

Leaving this bug unattended won’t cause any serious problems or make the game unplayable for you. Let Anet keep up the good work. They said they will adress it, so wait for it…

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: pzyonix.1645

pzyonix.1645

If I had the ability to add screenshots I would have done so but I am not on my gamesystem now. Here are the locations where they SHOULD be:

For the Norn Instance, make sure you sweep the entire area as the basic nodes are WAY off on the other side. (Please reposition them, without swiftness you need a about minute to reach them)

The Charr nodes should be to the righthand side when you enter. Closeby, probably the closest to your spawnpoint upon entering from all instances.

The Human nodes should be on the LEFT side behind a house, not like the Crystal and Candycane nodes on the right side.

I have no knowledge about the Asuran and Sylvari locations.
At least check the Norn, Charr and Human nodes if you haven’t found them yet. (and add locations for the other 2 races if you know them)

Haven’t found your nodes? Check your emails (delete old emails)/bags/bank for an item to use that makes them spawn. Still no nodes or no item in your posession to spawn them? Then yes this is bugged for you.

Scarlet as a champion of Primordus

in Lore

Scarlet is not a champ, as Konig Des Todes said it ‘is a filler arc to separate two ED-focussed storylines’

If you want likely Dragonchamps, think like Urgoz on steroids for Mordremoth (assumed name for the Jungle Dragon) or the Sylvari starter personal quest dragon.

The Great Destroyer, defeated exchamp of Primordus in GW1 also was dragonshaped, just like the Claw of Jormag and The Shatterer are shaped like dragons.

No, a sylvari becoming a champion doesn’t make sense. Neither being a minion, she is just way to narcissistic to follow anyone or anything.

Turret Bug List [It's finally shrinking!]

Posted by: pzyonix.1645

pzyonix.1645

to be more specific:
There is a window period in which you can blast combo fields.
As soon as the field appears you should be able to blast it for the combo.

Engineer turret related blasts OR finishers seem to have a different or shorter time in which you can make the combo.

Example: Healing Turret > Overcharge (Cleansing Burst) > Blast, won’t work.
Since you have to wait for the next interval to trigger, which is every 3 seconds. But the combo field animation isn’t accurate with timewindow in which you can blast it.

The same SEEMS to apply for the toolbelt skill (Regenerating Mist) but in my testing, sometimes it triggers the combo, sometimes it doesn’t, which is odd if not impossible behaviour for something fixed in code. So I am missing something there.

I keep checking back on this topic every once in a while. I noticed the Mortar jamming bug is also the case for ALL other usable sieges in both PvE (ex: Tequatl Turrets) and WvW (most noticable the Arrow Cart) but the WvW jamming seems to limit itself to those sieges in which you didn’t spent Rankpoint in.

Just to clarify that this isn’t a bug that is limited to the Engineer Mortar.

But to stay ontopic: To be really honest I think this wil get ‘fixed’ sooner if they made a total rework on the skills rather than revise the skillscripts.
I am still hesitant to call any of the following fixed:
Range
Intervals
Recharge
AoE blasts
Trait benefits/alterations
Damage and whatever affects damage values.

Also a potential bug (needs more proper testing) is the blastfinishing in all the ways possible with turrets. I get the feeling that the window for healingturret overcharge (waterfield) for example is a lot shorter than Super Elixir’s Light Field.

Her do-not-care stance doesn’t really fit with the other things she does. She takes care of making it hard for us to twart her plans. The do-not-care attitude she shows after defeat hints towards her having pre-knowledge.

I think she wanted us to kill the tower, to let others (us and marjory) do the dirty work for her, let us think the Aetherblade base and the Molten Facility were primary bases of operation, etc etc etc.

She keeps us busy, and even IRL, players are getting frustrated by her, which I like to think is exactly her intent. Frustrated people make mistakes and grow blind for change and are easier to manipulate.

antigen, I meant antitoxin there…
But to go further on antigens on itself, more specifically ‘non-self’ antigens. The tower, or the Hybrid (being a ‘fruit’ from it) may have developed a certain amount of resistance vs the antitoxin before we inject the final blow. And those can be extracted. Toxin, Antitoxin, Antigen… The ingrediënts for either immunologic and viralogic experiments. Come to think of it… translate those into weaponry and your hallucinogenic bomb is very plausible. But for the grand finale I would expect a mix of what we have seen before, but on steroids and possibly returning us where we first met Scarlet, The Queen’s Jubilee instance which has been off limits for a long time now. I will back up this potential hideout by the fact that the tower was veiled with powerful mesmer magic and the only one I see capable of doing this is our Queen Jennah herself. Conspiracy theory incoming: Let the biggest villain hide right under the nose of who we are to believe she tried to kill. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if Lady Kasmeer is in fact Jennah Incognito. I can’t remember seeing them in the same room together. (and then again we got mesmer illusions)

Theorycrafting on Scarlet

in Lore

pzyonix.1645

Having read just about everything in one go, I come up with the following:

Scarlet made the Inquest build the Thaumanova Reactor, or at least use it for her own plans. (She mentions in the Fractal about the help they were mapping out the ley lines.) Whether by timetravel or not.

Nothing is failure unless you learn from it.

Scarlet mentions this also in the Fractal: At least now we know how NOT to do this kind of experiments in the future.

The nightmare tower: She gained a toxine, more insight on our personal story and (how can it be I haven’t read this anywhere yet) an antigen to her alchemic brew.

So far Scarlet has learned, experimented, created and above all GAINED from all Racial Schools/Industries as well as our own personal story.

She gained information, knowledge, put it to use, failed and gained new knowledge for the future. BUT, she also gained more and more resources for her ultimate plan. In the form of alliances (bought, enslaved, convinced and misled) in her failures she ran off with the technology created/stolen etc. etc. that includes OUR work to stop her. (like the antigen)

I came to believe her insanity is part of the Dream that is still in her mind, but this must be something so big, so emotional, that it caused her to run away from it. Her Dream might very well be a Wyld Hunt or something simular that she knows she will have to sacrifice her own life for and is now desperately trying to find a different way that does not involve her death. As Scarlet being a ‘fruit’ of the Pale Tree keep in mind that whatever knowledge Scarlet has (and gains) is and will be shared with if not preceded by the Pale Tree and those that will follow (IIRC each Sylvari learns from the lives each individual from previous generations led)

The Pale Tree’s warning for the huge effects Scarlets actions will have on the world if she continued with the experiment holds a bad omen for Tyria (and a good one for gamers)

Whatever Scarlet’s plan is, it will hasten the rise of new dragon related dangers due to their symbotic (symbantic?) relationship to magic. Even if her plans have nothing to do with awakening Dragons themselves…

As to liking her or not:
Scarlet is a perfect character of which the psychological map is like chocolatechip cupcakes with extra icing and sugary flakes.
A good example of an underappreciated narcistic genius with too little a brain to maintain in control of all that intelligence. (plot returns: Toxine might be step 1 to a cure to help her regain sanity, but only ofcourse after she gave birth to hell)

Someone as brilliant as Scarlet will be impossible to kill by anything us players have at our disposal right now. I expect we won’t kill her, or some new danger for us all ends her reign for us.

The veterans from Guild Wars 1 will remember some simular areas with effects the way I mean. And the most noticable effect in Guild Wars 2 that behaves this way is in the Snowblind Fractal, where the chilling snowstorm drains increasing bits of HP the longer our character suffers from the cold.

Some very farfetched ideas came to mind that give both benefits and penalties. My thoughts are that these effects could be introduced to the open world, sPvP, Living World Content, Fractals, or simply everywhere. Let your creativity join me (Dev’s invited)

My examples:

Morning Sun: The sun is still under the clouds and blinds all that look in its direction, causing 5% of attacks to miss. Elementalists suffer no penalty and gain a 5% damage buff while in Fire Attunement.

Swampwater: Swiftness only lasts half duration. Take damage over time and conditiondurations last 15% longer for both foes and allies. Necromancers suffer no penalty and gain a 5% damage buff.

Asuran Facility: Asura players gain 1 statpoint per level towards all stats while in this area.

The Brand: Every time you attack or us a utilityskill. You have an 8% chance it fails and you are randomly dazed, confused, tormented or knocked down for 3 seconds.

Murky Waters: Your Aquabreather is unreliable. Generate stacks over time. At 25 stacks, you die. Resets when you surface.

Charr Territory: Charr have a 5% damageboost and gain 5 seconds of haste every minute. If an ally dies, Charr gain 25 might, fury and swiftness for 5 seconds.

Corrosive mist: Flora in the vicinity release a corroding substance that penetrates your armor. Suffer from increasing stacks of Torment and Vulnerability the longer you stay near them.

Old mechanics renewed, may introduce some new challenges.

Patience is a virtue With a few million players in this game and more codes in the datafile than a number you can pronounce don’t expect to be first in line to receive cookies. If this really was a big issue that was breaking the game they would gave it an immediate fix, but it isn’t.

As I know it, having maxed 2 crafts, switching them out, leveling 2 other crafts, then switch back to the first 2 crafts you maxed, should cost you a fee per level you have.
If you are back to 0, this is bugged.
Only other thing I can think of is that you didn’t have the money to pay for the fee and thus got set back… Which in my eyes is still a bug.

(confirmation required)
I think that has to do with the Scythe Skin you applied to it making it look like that rather than the staff skill itself.

Slaying Potions, the double-edged sword

I agree this needs a fix, or at least a reply from devs again (something about keeping a fire going)

BUT!!!

If you have been chucking all those potions everyday since launch and assume we got both the damage increase on foes but on ourselves as well… Then what are we complaining about? It means you honed your skills with placebo drugs. It made you a better player. It means you do not need the slaying potions anymore and swap it for flat statincrease substitutes.

Then again… if we all do that slaying potions are going to need a total rework or nobody will use them anymore…

Why I think Mordremoth is next!

Malyck is by far the most enigmatic sylvari in the game. I hardly call his inability to remember the Pale tree amnesia. He hasn’t fallen from Nightmare and does not belong to the Soundless either, as the Soundless made a choice which he never had (see what I did there Lestat fans XD) This gives us acces to the library of assumptions, speculations, theories and creativeness. In short it opens the possibility of 4th faction within the Sylvari.
To still ty them to the Sylvari lore that is known to us, Malyck still has the be born from an Elder Tree. Knowing botany I will provide my theory on this one: The Seedpod in which the Sapling Malyck grew fell off before his conscious could be connected with the Tree and others of his kin. He shows little connection to Ventari’s Tablet of commendments. He is just about a blank slate. Fallen seeds need nutrient soil to grow. A plausible theory for Malycks birth so far from the tree and ‘amnesia’ and I am sure Malyck isn’t the only one. I’ve done speculating about these Sylvari and started to call them the Soilborn. None of these speculations hold any grip to any lore we know now, but if anything comes up I have a book ready to share. (No Dragon in that btw, but there are the Druids of Denravi)

Looking at the Krait lore now and look for a place for either Dragon or Scarlet Briar or Inquest for that matter (Kudu) Except if Mordremoths essence was infused somehow into the obelisk tower. I find it more likely that the krait show their true form now. Their Ascended form so to speak with a reference to gw1. Now here is why I mentioned Seedpods falling from the Pale Tree: The krait have found themselves one of these seeds and some Krait Archwitch intoxicated it with their vile magics to create themselves this obelisk of power. A blank, growing, still shapeless lifeform with the essence of an Elder Tree. Whoever has seen the movie EPIC knows where this theory is loosely based on.

What I DO think is that this immense magic construct right under our noses will attract baddies like flies to honey. Inquest, Court, Minions, yes yes Briar and her mercs as well, but I don’t think we will see any of them this content update, more likely in a later chapter. (For you fans of the Evil Queen Theory: How the hell could the most powerful mesmer in Tyria not see this?)

And let us not forget the Krait<→Quaggan connection and all the turmoil there. I haven’t really seen anyone mentioning the Quaggans here.

I just put down what my mind showed me, more words for the creative and inventive to bring Mordremoth in the picture (or not) but I don’t think we’ll get a mention of him anytime soon.

Indepth Guide on using turrets vs Tequatl.
Written with input from various turreteers of the Far Shiverpeaks server.

You should be a guardian on a turret and nothing else. A warrior may take over your role if not enough guardians present. But by all means NEVER EVER get on a turret if you are medium or light armor!

Gear, skills and traits:

PVT armor, PVH trinkets (preferably)
2 monk, 2 water, 2 traveler runes.
Chocolate Omnomberry Cream consumable

Signet of Resolve
Signet of Judgment
Signet of Mercy
The passive effects of these signets stay in effect when you are on the turret.

Valor 20
Honor 30
Virtues 20

Must have traits: Strength in Numbers, Battle Presence, Absolute Resolution. These provide survival for yourself and your defenders, passively. The rest is as good as useless.

NOTE: IF YOU GET ON A TURRET YOU NEVER LEAVE IT DURING THE WHOLE EVENT.

Preparation:
Team up with the other 2 turreteers on your side and nobody else.
When the fight starts put a target on Tequatl and refresh it at the beginning of each phase. The important reason for this is that tilting your camera may cause you to loose focus on Tequatl and this prevents you from using your skill 1 and 2. you can focus up again by pressing ‘T’ as most will know.
Pop your food when the beast jumps from the water.

For all the turrets:
Main focus is skill 2! Spam it! On cooldown! Every single time! MAIN PRIORITY!

Now for a bit more coordination:
Outermost turret: do NOT cleanse yourself, only the zerg. use skill 4 on cooldown, go easy on skill 5. Focus order is skill 2, skill 3, skill 4, skill 1, skill 5.
Innermost turret: do NOT cleanse yourself, only the zerg. use skill 5 on cooldown, go easy on skill 4. Focus order is skill 2, skill 3, skill 5, skill 1, skill 4.

First phase:

Middle turret: do NOT cleanse the zerg (YES you read that accurate) only cleanse zerg if REQUESTED. Your main cleansing focus is yourself and your ally turreteers.
Neglect your buffing skills a bit only use them on the zerg if REQUESTED. go crazy on skill 1 and 2 to cover the loss of damage from the other turrets. Keep your eyes open for poison fields on the turrets. If you see your defenders in trouble close to the turrets, use skill 4 and 5 on them.

Laser phase:

Alternate between the zerg and the fingersquads to give them skill 4 and 5 buffs.
When the zerg is back at tequatl’s landing spot wait untill he actually lands.

This is the Stun phase

As start use skill 3,4 and 5 on the zerg. RE-TARGET Tequatl and spam skill 1 on him!!! Use ONLY skill 4 on the zerg during his stun phase.

This is all you need to know as a turreteer. Everything else around you is another persons job!

Someone else will repair your turret, someone else will defend you. Someone else will heal you. If not… then someone else is not doing his/her job!

It is however your job to warn your allies if scale stacks get too high and need to focus up. If enemies get too close to the turrets feel free to shout at them so they wake up!.

Game crash: Random black screen.

I’d like to report this crash in as well. Problems started after the Crafting lvl 500 update. But my game hangs up, pops up the ‘send error report’ message and goes into repairmode the next time I start GW2.exe

2 minutes in or 2 hours doesn’t matter.
It does seem to occur mostly around loadingscreens to other maps or dungeoninstances or WvW. Characters, settings, don’t seem to matter.

As far as I can tell I have no conflicting software with GW2, all drivers are up-to-date, my hardware is meeting the requirements. I even tested my hardware for damaged parts as these crashes occured sudden and with great frequency.

Latest patch broke the game

Repair doesn’t work for me:
Since latest patch the game locks up and pops up with ‘submit error report to Anet’ and the gamelauncher goes automaticly in repairboot.

This is happening, since the patch that featured Crafting lvl 500.
On a daily basis, multiple times a day. Most of the time at a random loading screen or right after it. On any character, at any time (just 2 minutes ingame or 2 hours, doesn’t matter)

I checked my end of the problem thoroughly, it is not hardware or memoryrelated, all drivers are up-to-date and no conflicting software is present on my PC.
