Without trait:
Berserker stance is 9sec
interval for resistance is 3 sec
With trait:
Berserker stance is 11,25sec
interval for resistance is 3sec
So with or without the trait you get the same amount of resistance.. issnt that just bad design?
Warrior:
•high HP pool,heavy armor and high melee single target and AoE DPS, good crowd control, good mobility, frequent stun breakers
• Relies on landing its burst attacks to remove conditions.
Spending burst attacks cost adrenaline wich you first need to build and spending it will also cost you hps and/or other stat bonus like +crit/damage traits.
No defensive boons or any way to deal with boons on others
only 1 blind
only 1 combo field
no stealth/teleport/clones/pets or any other fancy stuff.And yet no one sees this ^, and still think we are GODS? we have so many weaknesses, you just need to find them like on every other class.
These aren’t weaknesses, really. More like, things that warrior isn’t great at. Other classes have all these things to deal with as well. But calling such things weaknesses is overstating them, IMO.
So you say light armor is a weakness for those classes?
Because having light armor means you get more defensive boons like protections.. and some can have almost perma protections.. that gives more damage reduction compared to a heavy warrior.
So having a weakness doesnt mean its a a weakness for that class. because they are designed around it….
Warrior is designed around heavy armor AND high health pool..
But now they all thinking because warrior have both heavy armor and health and mobility etc that they have zero weakness.. lol..
THey are designed around it.
Maby you should include weakness like no pets / clones / teleport / stealth etc etc..
Because classes that DOES have a weakness like zero health and zero armor DOES have these options of skills.. to balance there weakness.

Why changing critical damage??
Ok almost everyone runs it in dungeons, but in duels/pvp/roaming wvw condition builds still dominate..
If crit damage gets nerfed you just buffed condi builds..
I feel kinda sick about this when i have spent SOOOO much time and gold into my set but also my Weapons AND traits EVERYTHING is based AROUND berserker stats…

If berserker becomes kitten and condition builds even dominate more in duels/pvp/wvw roaming i delete this game! there where never problems with these stats in that area of the game.. i hope you just talk about dungeons and thats it..
Because what i think berserker amulet also lacks crit damage…
Its +20% crit damage in pvp…!! compare it with condition amulet.
In wvw i get 100% crit damage / pvp with traits just 35% crit damage
In wvw with condi gear i get 1200 condi / in pvp i get also 1200…..
See the difference?
It really feels like this spec is made in 1 day.. the last day.
Just look at the amount of skills and new mechanic stuff other classes get… i really am disappointed.
Maby this spec will be nice in pvp, but for me i looks just very boring.
Overnerfed. Just like Skullcrack. Why not take it to 1/2 second? No, make it 3/4, and give it an incredibly obvious animation.

Why does this weapon need a dmg nerf?
The weapon is already under used in pvp because landing a full 100b is never possible and you have to use some diff skill/weapon to even land some of the hits..
Only the final strike is the same but again you never hit the final strike.
whirlwind dmg nerf… Why? Really dont know why because the damage wassnt high on moving targets.. Real players are not like mobs standing at a wall.. So you can even hit more then 2 hits from whirlwind
And all that for the arcing slice buff?
Damage above 50% is still crap!! And i hate the 50% trigger system. Cant even see if its really 50%
Just like final strike you often just waste your time and now also adrenaline. I dont think this skill buff need tho nerf the dmg on other skill.
If anything i was thinking a dmg nerf on evi or hammer… Not Gs!

Wow! i am often a kittenhead also on this forum, mostly about balancing.
I often feel that i get less on my main warrior.. and dont give much about other classes..
I know .. i know it shouldnt be like that..
I the end i have a great time in this game! my greatest + point with gw2 is the fighting mechanic! its so kitten nice! there is no other game that gives me this much combat feeling like gw2 does.

When I get my legendary back….
Thats is your problem and allot of those complaining here.
PVE players that joined PVP for stuff like the legendary backpack… and because of there low MMR they get matched with the same skilled players (mostly new/bad) they QQ about the matchmaking system being bad. (good players will be there also but quickly go up in division)
I got news for you and other PVE players, dont expect to even reach high in the PVP league or to aim for the legendary backpack if that is your goal but dont even care about PVP at all.

Saying: you’ll need to do more “setting up” of your burst skill (to give it a higher chance to land) if you’re relying on Cleansing for condie clears.

The problem with setting up a burst is that those skills suffer just like Rush does..(bulls/bolas)
So now i have to use a CC before landing a different CC to land a burst what could be a CC
And also CI is a must have for warrios in pvp.. the class is all build around CI at this point..

How does the trap recharge work on other classes like ranger?
Do they recharge the moment you place the traps or when triggered?

You do know longbow AA is also 3/4 sec right?
its terrible slow!! not only you make pin down to 3/4 sec (that’s gonna be 1,25 for real)
But also easier to spot.. so now everyone can dodge this long CD skill..
Without immob we cant land the terrible slow arcing arrow or F1…
But we are also still doomed with its terrible slow AA!
Atleast buff its AA to compensate something, you also did for ranger longbow AA..
Why does warrior get all the 1sec casttime skills + easy to see skills??
Other classes can just as easy spam/instant cast there skills, you just make warrior a terrible slow class..
With 2x nerfs on combustive shot and now a huge nerf on Pin down I can atleast say we should also need something back..
Now F1 doesn’t do any good damage or most of the time its only for condi removal.. not even for its damage (burst.. lol) but there is now also a very VERY good counter to pin down.. still not happy with this… but there is not a single buff/compensate to its VERY VERY slow AA.. that also doesn’t do that good damage.. atleast give something in return…
People can say you don’t win with pressing 1111111.. your right about this.
Longbow is for doing a burst, but that becomes very hard with this change.. but that’s the counterpart.. but if you fail your pin down you’re forced to wait for weaponswap.. because longbow cant do enough pressure without pin down/arcing arrow.. F1 is already a joke.
Maby remove 1 or 2 bleedings from pin down and add 1 short bleeding on its AA..
So not ALL bleeding comes from only pin down, this would help both condi as power builds… now longbow depents way to much on pin down.. If this skill becomes to easy to counter there is almost no way call this weapon viable, because both F1 and arcing arrow are slow so they are designed around your immob..

yes they are! they may be good in teamed play, but in duels they are just bad.
go ahead and say warrior have OP healing and OP skills like endure pain etc etc bla bla bla.. but there weapon skills are just so kitten easy to read and there damage is lame compared to dps guards or any thief.. other classes have so much ways to get out for free and instant or easy to land burst skills/rotations, where are left with nerfs and nerfs and nerfs just because they are GOD vs ALL noobs/newbies but sadly terrible agains ANY good player in duels.

from point A to B without swiftness (or any other movement increasing) walking back its like 4sec.. with swiftness its still 4 sec, (and if it does work it should be 2,6sec you would see the difference)
If point A to B is 12sec and swiftness should work its 8 sec, that’s allot.
Maby you think, nah its just 4 sec.. but that’s allot in PVP when you often walk back or left/right when using a range weapon.

So in others words, Why did Anet let Vault work with quickness when they knew about this bug since the game start? and thats why they made this change about leaping skills and quickness… weird

all you say is: fire fire fire mooore fire! you sound like a Dev that thinks all warrior players are stupid players that can only smash 1 key. (sorry but thats my opinion about Dev thinking of warriors)
Then you try to give feedback on skills but you dont give any decent feedback about the total picture, all skills look somewhat cool on there own but do they bring enough for a warrior in pvp/pve? can they replace a build? what are the cost if warriors do go for berserker traitline? how did you felt going in and out of berserkmode? did you feel much diffrence or did you feel just the same warrior but with some fancy new animations?
I think this berserk mode doesnt bring much, it could be run for some condi builds.. but they could also just placed some of this traits into arms.. we get a total new elite that does not bring any new way of playing a warrior. and they did nothing to even be able taking a other traitline
when should the cast time for 100b be reduced? i say after warriors stop bragging about 44k 100b channels.
how is a 15k rapid fire more OP than a 44k 100b?

100b:
Damage Damage (8x): 1,624 (4.4)?
Damage Final strike damage: 406 (1.1)?
Number of Targets: 3
Range: 130
Casttime: 3,5sec (so 2000 / 3,5 = 571 dps)
Conculsion
100b does 10% more dmg on MELEE RANGE
BUT!!! rapid fire also give 10 Vulnerability stacks (so thats 10% dmg) AND 20% chance for Physical Projectile

You compare a 4sec cooldown weapon utility to a complete class mechanic skill.
its basically the same if i say this:
gunflame does 9k dmg but guardian does 6k dmg + unblockable pull + leap and heal + 4sec block.
Iirc, it’s already on the list of bugs they’re working on. Someone posted a link to the list a while back, but I can’t remember where it is.

Maby its time to buff/revert some nerfs on power warrior back in the old days?
Like:
Burst mastery: from +7% to +10% dmg
(Used to be 10% and even minor traits give +7% dmg now + another benefit like burst mastery.. wich btw 33% adrenaline back on berserker/spellbreaker is pretty weak)
AXE-Auto revert some of the final strike dmg back to the first hits. so its not a complete waste if you cant finish the full chain.
GS-Auto: increase dmg with 10% (its just so weak)
100b: increase dmg with 5% + vuln on every hit (they had nerfed it with 5%)
Bladetrail: increase dmg with 10% also
(this skill never received a dmg buff, its slow as kitten and very telegraphed + often fails to come back for second hit and never works vs walls or something)
Whirlwind: this skill did received a dmg nerf back then but this skill is very good for other reasons ofc.

If thief goes into stealth and use whirlwind right before the stealth ends the opponent wont see any animation.
for me its like the thief is just walking..
Fix it pls because whirlwind also reflect arrows, now there is no counter to it if you don’t see it.

Resistance does not last for the duration of Berserkers stance since january, it pulses Resistance at intervals.
Berserker stance: 11sec / 60sec CD (traited)
This means 11sec resistance / 60sec Cooldown…
i didnt stated it last for the full duration of berserker stance, maby you misread it.
And pulsing resistance doesnt mean perma resistance, perma resistance means someone have resistance ALL the time. and the pulsing change of berserker stance is already some months ago.. so your little bit too late now to cry about it. or didnt you played since january?

Its just about the food.
What I am trying to say that +40% is so good for condi builds they would use this.
But with that it becomes a MUST have for the other guy to use -40%.. because if you don’t you do get a harder time.. so why not use it right??
But that’s the point!! condi builds use it because other use the -40% food.. so if condi doesn’t use +40% he would be less powerfull..
So the point is everyone is using it because you HAVE to…
Now this is why I suggest to bring it down to around 20% or something.. so condi would still use this.. but others also can get something else now
So in total the condi builds would profit from this
And the other people also because you can have something else and not -40% food..
Because +20% is a % I think should be still good but not a MUST have to get the -20%..

CI should be something else in the first place.. they didnt and now they are nerfing everything around it..
CI should be:
Removes a condition for every bar of adrenaline gain.
This way you can remove 3 conditions just like now, but when you AINT using your burst (or ofc miss your burst) you also dont use your adrenline.. that way you CANT cleanse conditions..
This is how your forcing warriors to USE there burst skills.
And than SOR and Fury signet got allot more use in this game.
And they can reduce Berserker stance to 6 sec because that skill removes 3 conditions also in those 6 sec.. (if your used your burst before ofc)
Ofc they should do something about healing surge..

The more nerfs warr get the more we are pushed into hambow.
Why?
Well warriors need CI and soon Burst mastery is more needed then before.
+ these traitlines gives:
Adrenaline health
Adrenaline on weapon swap
Fast hands
All traits that are kinda must have for warrior..
And triple stances skills are still the best skills for pvp.
only 1 weapon set benefit the most out of these traitlines/skill
And thats hambow.
This is why:
Hammer is also in defensive tree…
(where for GS you need atleast 4 traits into a different traitline to make it somewhat viable..)
Longbow doesnt need a trait to be viable
You dont need precision because hammer is just about 3x chainstun that benefit the most with sigil of intelligence..
And because the stunchain from hammer you also dont need a CC skill so you have room left for triple stance..
Where different weapons often need something like bulls charge to setup a burst.
Both weapons are Aoe burst attacks.
And only Hammer and longbow can stack might that fast
Maby its just me.. but i think Anet should move hammer trait to strength or something.. so they make hambow slightly less viable.
Because all they do now is nerfing other warrior builds.. the nerfs that are coming and from the past almost never hit hambow but it does hit allot of other builds all the time.
1 Auto attack:
* +5% dmg on chain skill #1 and #2
* Give chain #3 also 1 vulnerability
2 100b:
*Increase its castime/speed up its animation
OR
*Bring back its damage on the start of the skill!
3 whirlwind:
*fine
4 Bladetrail:
*Increase its projectile speed by 50%
5 Rush:
*Yeah its semi “ok” now.. still it miss but whatever.
F1 Arcing Slice:
-Increase range to 200
Maybe if some (most?) other classes wouldn’t have 101 passive defenses which make them almost untouchable, AND at the same time damage close or on par to thieves’, the thieves wouldn’t actually run away?
A warrior do have that and a warrior can still wear nike shoes.

If you remove warrior nike shoes than whats left of warrior? a inferior guardian.
Remove Thief mobility than whats left?
If you remove mesmer teleport than whats left?
Sorry but there is balance and there is whining because you dont have it.
Ps, here is a little tip: immob warrior while they use rush (not before) this will kitten them up. and if they used berserker stance then big deal let him run.

-Shield Bash: is affected by Chilled/Cripple/Swiftness (not solved)
-Hundred blades: gets interrupted if target goes into stealth
-Blaze Breaker: gives a message stating no line of sight when players face away from enemies while casting
STUCK BUGS;
-Brutal shot: often dodge you in the same place and not backwards
-Shield bash
-Decapitate/Evi
BUG SINCE LAST PATCH
-Burst skills going off while swapping weapons or right after a different skill while you didnt expect it.. dunno what this is but happens allot
Old known bugs
-Whirlwind: goes off the wrong direction, this happens when something is above you like a bridge.
-Endure pain: very minor delay while active (server-client issue or just a delay.. dunno)
-Combustive shot/CI combo.. we all know it, and its a ground target skill so dunno i dont think they would ever redo this so you have to hit something because its ground target
Uneven terrain problems
The following skills often fail to hit because uneven terrain or server/client issues’s. all classes and pretty much all leap skills have these problems, i dont think they would ever solve this, sometimes its minor:
-Hammer Shock
-Earthshaker/Rapturing Smash
-Bladetrail
-Savage Leap
-Tremor
-Trow Bolas
-Sundering Leap
-Bull’s Charge
-Rush minor works allot better now
SOLVED
Tooltip bugs:
-Arc divider: says its a fire field (used to be)
-Balanced stance: no Stance in the tooltip (different compared to last stand)
-Crack shot: adds piercing to rifle butt and most harpoon skills (used to be)
-Gunflame: tooltip dmg is wrong when traited with burst mastery
Bugs:
-Stomp: some issues (known by Josh)
-Banner 5: Doesnt work
-Rush: Missing target its much better now

Perhaps people need to step back and think a little about their own assumptions for why Anet put a cast time on Spear because the base virtue is insta … it’s certainly not a mistake they added a cast time and there are methods to counterplay it.
Anet put a cast time on DH virtues so that they can’t be used while stunned and can’t be activated while casting something else. Core virtues are instant because their active effect is so weak that it’s a non-issue.
1/4th second cast is typically put on abilities that aren’t meant to dodgable but at the same time aren’t supposed to be usable while stunned.
Yup .. so for everyone that doesn’t ‘get it’, there is a reason that 1/4 is on there and there is also a reason this pull skill is particularly hard to dodge. I’m still waiting for someone to come up with a reason Spear should work different than the reasons it current works.
So your saying its should be 100% hit? with no counter play? because its a virtue?
but lets say it should be like this, why is it that Anet did allot of rework in the past making stuff more counterable?
I still prefer to mention “Pin down”
This skill used to be 1/4 sec and almost no animation.
Now its 3/4 sec with a good animation.
And everyone is OK with it because there is counterplay/reaction time now.
Dont you want every skill to have a proper counterplay? issnt that what we want in PVP?
Because the more i read this topic the more i think ppl just want passive stuff with no counterplay just to smash some buttons and hope they win just because there meta build is better, with no skill involved.

Because the helmet is so big and weird shape the wings on it are going the wrong way..

Sure you have to HIT ofc.. else it would be totally braindead to play warrior. but you know you can swap cleanse > use hydra to cleanse blind.. etc.
Warrior
In this update, we have taken a look at a few underperforming weapons for the warrior: rifle and torch. The torch exists as a more aggressive off hand for condition builds, but it currently does not provide enough pressure to warrant taking it. We have increased the burning output on both torch skills to make it a more competitive option.
The rifle lacks in sustained pressure because three of its abilities focused on utility. Because of this, the rifle struggled to kill enemies when Volley and Gun Flame were mitigated. We have increased the damage of Aimed Shot to provide another source of damage to the rifle kit.
Blaze Breaker: The number of burn stacks applied by this skill has been increased from 1 to 2 in PvP only. The cripple duration of this skill has been increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds in PvP only.
Flames of War: The burning duration applied each pulse has been increased from 1 second to 2 seconds. The number of burn stacks applied by the final explosion have been increased from 2 to 4, in PvP only.
Aimed Shot: The damage of this skill has been increased by 68% in PvP only. The vulnerability applied by this ability has been increased from 5 to 10 stacks in PvP only.

First: heavy armor Charr players ONLY have cultural that fits well.. and even cultural gets some weird clipping/shaping problems.
Second: every armor set is made on human model and also humans get there cutural armor also.. and you dont care about Charr? lol very hard to say…
You must be joking if you think Charr players like to use Tier 3 from start of this game since…. well ever i think.
Where humans alsways get so much choice about armor and some only have very MINOR clipping problems where as a charr player i dont even bother anymore because we have so many..
I agree they should make them nice for both, but saying i dont care about Charr because they have cultural (and nothing more) is very bad

So is there any reason why Berserk has a longer cooldown compared to Celestial? doesnt feel right to me.

Berserk: 15 sec cooldown / 15sec active duration
Some notes:
-Berserker does have an trait to reduce it by 33% (making it 10sec also) why does a warrior need to use a trait just to gain the same?
-No adrenaline on start and degenerate after combat, unlike Celestial.
A druid can get 100% astral force decent fast enough to switch to Celestial again after the cooldown, ofc Berserk have it more easy to gain adrenaline. but why punish berserk with a longer cooldown?
So yeah with this in mind, why doesnt berserk mode has a standard 10sec cooldown just like Celestial?

Going full might boons + might makes right
(mending+5might on heal / Bulls for the extra evade also / SoR (signet of rage)
This trait feels 10 times more Elite compared to Elite berserker.
Too bad i used to love gs/rifle berserker but its crap now.
What are you guys planning to do? waiting for spellbreaker?

So the more Ferocity you stack it becomes less powerfull
Because the problem issnt the mixed gear people in PVE doing average damage.. your talking about the full zerker guys that becomes to strong.

I am pretty much done with this game.
REV/CHRONO/REAPER/SCRAPPER/DRAGONHUNTER
All are INSANELY overpowered from a warrior point of view.
3 years have past too have a somewhat balanced game and we all start over again.
Anet just puts more and more into the classes creating more and more counters.
This will again take months to balance out..
Not only this but the berserker elite is pretty dumb boring if not the same warrior but slighty worse if not in berserker mode and slighty better in berserk mode but thats pretty much it, nothing new about it.
All HOT does is pushing you to one of the OP classes, something i really dont like to do.
I am not here to explain why those classes are that OP, neither do i come to cry for buffs on warrior, i Always find that warrior was 1 of the most balanced classes. and they should take warrior as a template for other classes, but no they just pushed too much onto the elites.. cant take it anymore to wait and wait and wait more for balancing.
I am taking a break for now, hope you warriors find some fun with the class in pvp.
I really hope Anet doesnt listen anymore to all the Revenant/dragonhunter and what not people crying for buffs and buffs.. because they received them ALLOT.. look what it did.. i already miss the Core game. what a waste of money
Its sad that we know we will never ever get a great new weapon anymore..
All that is left are the smaller versions:
pistol > rifle.
shortbow > longbow
And then we have weapons that just are totally wrong on a warrior (in my opinion)

But because we have had condi now with berserker / power with dagger.. we sure get a support build next ofc.. so yeah that would be staff.. whoo gandalf in heavy armor.

PLs make the amulets something like this:
(the numbers are just an example)
Berserker:
+1000 power
+700 precision
+700 ferocity
+250 toughness
+250 vitality
Soldier:
+1000 power
+700 toughness
+700 vitality
+250 precision
+250 ferocity
So pls dont only boost the current stats.
Because using something like berserker amulet with only a buff to its vitality but zero toughness is very squishy
pvp amulets got 10 more stats..
in pve you also get 10 more stats on lvl 80..
