Yip, the servers that do not have the coverage will not get the rewards they deserve for fighting an uphill battle for 2 months. They will work harder get beat up worse and have their Morale challenged on several occasions only to be slapped in the face at the end of it all.

…and all respect goes out to Deso and Baruch for putting up a good fight.

Depends on your might stacking ability.

Basic vendor items such as Dull Hatchet or Dull Knife are un-salvageable and un-flushable in the Mystic Toilet.

Buy these from the armor or weapon vendor, put up with a lower-than-the-salvageable-versions price on the TP and simultaneously post a buy order for 1/3 or even lower that.

This has been going on since day 1 and has been posted numerous times, so it’s not an exploit.

When users buy these unaware they are useless for the two purposes listed above, they will turn them right back around to recoup at LEAST a part of their loss.

Caveat emptor. Except in some cases, the unsalvageables have the exact same name as salvageables, so bait and switch works nicely.

NOW maybe some attention to these can be paid – I have posted twice in the past year about this problem and there are numerous other posts all over the official forums about it. My mistake was addressing it as a problem – maybe addressing it as a trading strategy will get it fixed?

These items should be un-TP-able OR labelled in such a way the consumer knows what (s)he is buying.

i dont have problem with nightcapping, nor doubleteaming, but handing out keeps and towers to make another server 3rd when you already won, that is plain disgusting.

All I have to say is half of the comeback of BB is cause the fact that we controlled all ruins for the last 4-5h.

And this is only Deso fault…

SFR is only helping BB as they don’t want deso for a third week (we are too good for their zergs). But personally i think it’s ridiculous being double teamed, SFR capping towers, camps and keeps only to allow (without defending) BB take them for their tick, then defending BB’s points from deso. SFR also camping all deso spawn points not allowing us to get our zergs and dead out to cap points. Both servers should be ashamed, one word ridiculous.

Hat’s off to SFR for one of the most perfect double team I’ve ever seen. Not exactly sure why you chose to be BB’s little b*****s but was quite nicely executed.

Of course, from now on, damaging SFR will be top priority for anyone playing on Deso. Can’t do much with forces as they are right now, but things change.

For my fellow Deso players: remember that second place is not lost yet. SFR cannot control tier 2, so unless they lose on purpose to BB there’s still hope.

For Arenanet: your 2 vs 1, in case you haven’t noticed yet, it’s not working. In this case we have the winners of gold league already obvious from week 1 who are playing kingmakers for the 2nd position, gifting it to the server they find less threatening, I guess.

Anet intended the WvW to be like this. Thats why they have 3 teams fighting each other so that no one team can reign supreme all the time. (if other 2 get to their senses)

How is WVW supposed to be fun if 2 servers work together to make sure we (desolation) end in 3d place this matchup.

With only 20mins left they dont even try hiding it anymore. Every borderland and even EB has a qeue on deso and still we cant even cap a single tower on the bb border. SFR just lets bb take towers/keeps so they can pass us before resset how else do u explain SFR having full zerks and only having ticks of -70 while bb has 400. All of towers/camps/sentrys we own get zerfed by bb or sfr and capped bye bb.

If you’re at the point where you’re killing 3 enemies every 5 seconds you’ve already won the fight.

WHY ANET? My only source of income is gone. Life is not worth living anymore. But seriously, this was not even clear in the patch notes. This patch went ahead without the approval of the community. I’m sure this is devastating to everyone! How can anet change something so drastic and not ask the community how they would feel about the train being removed. This change is so drastic, it needs democracy and opinions of others.

I hope the Chalice gets reinstated to grant Rank Points prior to the 15th so players wanting them for the Transmutation Charges granted per Rank will get them. I’m sure 5k rank points would help bump some players into the next rank for an additional charge.

I didn’t have to log into mine. The first character I sent into WvW added all my ranks in 1 shot.

That’s because legendaries are more than just a skin. They also offer you extra functionality, on top of the ‘never have to get another weapon again’ bonus.

You might be trying to equip it from the wardrobe?

there is no change in the currency of changing a skin, just the user interface for it.

Firstly, I love this contest. The challenge here isn’t making back the most money, like some people seem to be going for. The challenge is in making the greatest ROI, which is what decides the winner. This also makes it more cost effective to invest the minimum amount into your guess (ie. 5g) as opposed to doing 7.5g and trying to get bigger gold back. Less risk that way.

I was going to go Rune of the Adventurer, but someone already got that one. I think it has good potential to be really strong after the patch, but all of the runes are a gamble and half are linked to crafting recipes. In lieu of that, I went with the following:

I got a Rodgort’s Flame as a drop over the weekend, and the price didn’t go up by 200 Gold. Where’s the inflation for my item???

Technically Rodgort’s is also up 30% which is same percentage as with Legend and Dusk. Your problem is it’s 30% on 60g.

But it’s not 800+ Gold like the others. That’s not fair.
