Finally, we have the first good patch in the history of GW2, what will give less power to pets to give player habilities and not become pet-dependant since lvl 1.

If you think them nerfing pet damage means they will be buffing the Ranger damage you are sorely mistaken. What will happen is they will nerf the pet so far into the ground that not even a boar can “forage” it’s way out. Then they will turn around and make a few tooltip corrections for our traits and call them buffs to the Ranger. In turn they will kill the Ranger in all forms and it will be the least represented profession in ALL areas not just Dungeons.

Welp. If I can’t play my only 80, I hate to say it, I REALLY hate to say it. But I’ll be done. Long have I supported Anet, but this is the line.

What about Mesmers? I undisputed kings of faceroll? PvE, PvP, WvW, them dominate it all.
Guardians? Block.. block.. block.. cleanse… Smush you’re dead.
Eles are still broken as hell. Fire – Insane Damage, Water – Hard counter for Conditions still, Earth – Hard counter for Power builds.

Our awesome morning crew did a big gollem rush on the enemy border!

All this complaining i really enjoyed our last match up with gandalf, and was looking forward to meeting them again, its not their fault with their numbers atm it’s the same after every wvw patch/change every man and his dog comes out to play and when they see that they are winning they choose to stay longer for their vista’s/Poi’s and ofc farming the smaller servers etc. I do feel for Gandalf because they are gonna get higher rating and they gonna end up in our’s (FSP) or AS position in the coming weeks and then all these “internal band-wagoners” are gonna be nowhere to be seen and they are gonna be alot worse off. Perhaps a few wvw regulars may lose moral and may stop playing a while and weaken their force in general. So yeh the pugs/internal band-wagoners maybe having lots of fun this week but the real wvw players on Gandalf knows what i have just said is right and are probably not looking forward to being where we are now.

P.S its been hard to find good fair fights this week but those i have found have been great so thanks

To be honest I’d take being hopelessly outnumbered over hoplessly outnumbering the enemy after this week. The internal bandwagoners might think its fun to flip maps with no opposition but if this kept up for any length of time we wouldn’t have anyone to fight and wvw would just be a bunch of pve maps with no content.
We used to call the outmanned buff a target rich environment. Makes a lot more sense now being the one doing the outmanning as theres nothing to fight of kill more often than not.

Didn’t spend much time in wvw yesterday but did have one great fight. Was at bay on fsp’s border about 11 or 12. Outer wall was taken down and seemed you lot were making one final push before logging for the night. Ended up as a really good fight

Once we wiped you, a few dozen jumped on the map having noticed the wp contested and i presume a few of you decided to log for the night and that was the end of that. A day wandering about being a-from-k more often than not and one fight to show for it (rest weren’t fights, it was farming with stupid numbers).

Anyway had a few good fights against kale on friday and saturday so thanks to them, hopefully our numbers ease off during the week.

I’d also like to apologise for some gandarans this week, they’re doing a good job of ruining any positive reputation we’ve gained – they disgust us as much as you.

away from keyboard is still censored … why not just give us the option to turn censoring off Anet because some of things that get cersored are kittening dumb.

FSP ppl need to chill cause we do blobb aswell, our blobbs just isnt to good since half of the people runs berserker or magic find gear…

What gandara is experiencing now will soon be over cause we had exact same thing few months back, queue to every single border and only 1 commander on the map.
So don’t you cast the first stone :P

Get your act together people and take it out on the battlefield and stop ragequitting after 1 lost fight.

Yes we are. We are doing it to get some really good rating so we can actually meet a skilled server next week

Good luck in the upper tiers. Please send us a few photos of the blobs you`ll encounter there so that we, the lowly unskilled peasants of Far Shiverpeaks, might bask in your glory and wonder at your godlike nature.
Since my IQ is about the same as the room temperature and I don`t tend to go out much I wasnt very sure what you meant by “skilled”. I asked a friend and he told me that skill looks like a huge red “train” of people that spam laugh emotes every time they defeat a much smaller force.
While the vast majority of our FSP force valiantly defends the borderland spawnpoints (a tedious and dangerous task that requires hours of sitting in the same place) a few of us still roam the wvw areas.
Until the end of this matchup we ask you kindly to divide your “skill” a bit so that we can get a small sense of accomplishment by bringing down a door or killing the occasional npc every now and then.

If free transfers were still in place I would switch to AS or FSP so I could kill these bandwagoner Gandarans that appeared in WvW this week.

You know.. it’s pretty frustrating that our cries for help go largely ignored, but if someone that plays a Warrior (aka Arena Nets Golden Child) complains about anything Ranger related, nerfs come like lightning. That video is a good example, someone says BM Ranger is ‘OP,’.. Boom.. Nerf Granted!

Rangers ask for months for someone to fix the #1 skill on our Long Bow.. completely ignored.

I’m a pretty patient guy, I try to stay out of all the crying and complaining, but if this nerf affects PVE as well, that just might be it for me. I’m so sick of being afraid of every single patch, the constant nerfs have to STOP.

Tbh gloating on forums on a totally unfair match up isnt what id call fair play, if it was the other way round (remember last week?) and Gandara was out numbered there would be so many QQ’s in this thread. Actually think back to when Piken did that to us on EB, remember how much fun that was everyday and they didnt come to the forums for a pat on the back.

Never know maybe next week we will be the underdog and find ourselves outmanned on EB and every other map too at prime time.

Even with the best intentions, everything does not always go as planned. We had hoped to get the changes in for today’s reset, but it simply was not feasible to do so with the confidence that nothing was amiss. I completely agree with the criticism about having announced the plan and then having to change it, that’s my fault and something I shouldn’t have done. This system is still inbound and I’m fighting as hard as I can to make sure it gets in as soon as humanly possible. There are, however, a lot of moving parts to any change like this and we have to make as sure as possible that none of those parts are going to fail. I share your disappointment as I am very excited to get this change out to all of you and wish we could have done it today.

Don’t take it so hard. Anybody with a reasonable mind knows that sometimes things come up blocking plans. The mere fact that you’re holding it back due to an error on your guys part does a lot more for the sake of the community than releasing it while it had said error. Shows the professionalism in your work, and that you care enough about the players to hold it back.

Ignore the QQers here, they’ll get over it soon enough, and some of them I’m sure are old enough to realize that some things can prevent you from getting what you want when you want it. <_<

I’d prefer to see a system that is done properly and as bug free as it possibly can be before going live.

I’d bet a large amount of gold that you or someone would have made a very similar post if they had not delayed and the new match up system was bugged.

Instead of constantly whining about something that they have obviously started to fix, how about you show a bit of patience? It’s not like it’s not coming, Arena.Net aren’t psychic, they can’t predict when issues will arise.

It’s a week. Not a month or a year. Show your true strength as a server and beat Elona and Jade until they do change it.

I know that most of you wont care about this, but us vabbians are proud of what we have been achieving lately and today we finally did something we’ve never really done before, if you don’t know Vabbi is a “dead” server, but every day the AMAZING people of vabbi come in to wvw, we die a lot but we don’t give up. So most of all this is a massive thank you too vabbi wvw players who come day in day out without you we’d never have anything. <3

Good luck everyone on other servers If your ever looking for a fun server you know where we are :P

Please tell me when on Gandara you have EVER heard that said. If you have, then whoever said it is special in many ways.

This entire numbers as a counter thing just reminds me of the Sith; you will never grow stronger if you always have to rely on others to boost you up.

We are definitely a strong class, but just because we have a few viable builds doesn’t mean the rest of our stuff doesn’t need an overhaul. I love playing RRR, but I didn’t make my ranger with bunker in mind.

I want to play DPS. I want to rain hell on people from afar. Instead, I’ve been forced into playing a highly defensive spec while letting an NPC do all the work for me. I can’t think of any other class forced so thoroughly into so few niches. It’s claustrophobic playing ranger at times.
