Main: Caeimhe – Sylvari Ranger
Alts: Charr Guardian, Asura Elementalist, Human Thief, Norn Necromancer
warrior, necro, and spirit ranger not getting nerfed :o
Please. Stop calling for endless nerfs. Yes, that ranger build may be prevalent in PvP. But it is not as OP in other areas. And the recent changes to spirits does create much counter-play. Please learn the counter mechanics rather than just call for nerfs.
Thanks.

Tab Targeting Improvements
- Now prioritizes Champs/Legendary, then players/clones, then everything else
First of why the clones? I dont like targeting clones
Of course you don’t, that’s the whole purpose of Mesmer. What’s the point of playing a mesmer with clones when everyone knows right away which is the real you simply by tab targeting?
why remove water from temple of the silent storm?
why? ????????
WHY ????????
Here is a list of the current active Custom Arena commands. Note that some commands remove the progression of your server upon usage. This means that using a no progression command will hence forth cease your ability to gain glory and rank points for that match.
Tournament Commands: These commands were established to aid in running custom tournaments. Using any of these commands will turn off progression for the remainder of the match in which you used it. [Example: using /gamestart will not allow any players in the match to accumulate glory or rank points.]
Administrative Commands: these commands require you to have the designated player targeted. You do not need to type that players name. Simply acquire your target and type one of these slash commands.
Hope this list helps!
Enjoy!
I love the graphics that you have for your SAB adventures. I think a map based around this theme would be very fresh in the SPVP maps!

I’m not asking for a nerf…but I’m asking for something to be done with Bloodstone dust. There is too much of it. It is account bound so it’s not sellable on the TP. Your collections tab only can hold 250 of it which I maxed in about an hour of champ farming.
Either allow us to vendor the dust we don’t want or make it tradable on the TP or reduce the amount that drops, or something. All the other materials drop much less frequently so some balancing needs to be done.
Only way to get lots of achievement points is to play ALL aspects of the game.
Alright. Normally I would say no, but I can definitely see a value in giving a free transfer to new account. Say, any account created after the transfer lock out could have one free transfer, for this exact reason. It is actually fair.
It’s meant as an inventory space cleaner. The idea is that it takes up one inventory space, lasts forever, and can clear out all the junk in your inventory. It’s a great convenience item.
Guys… 3 coppers means 3ยข, not 3 copper ore. Just look at the tooltip on the screen shot…
No.
Or play what you want to have fun and don’t worry about efficiency. Join a casual guild. Prosper.
Or do high level fractals, while everyone is zerking (not zerging) and dpsing, the support is what holds the group alive.
Or do something other than PvE
That creature was put there specifically to be avoided. It’s on a long patrol path around the temple, and easy to avoid. In a similar fashion, if you stop to fight a patrolling knight, you’re likely to have another one wander in during the fight, then another, etc. Not every story step is “Destroy every enemy on the map”.
I have tons of Kiel Representative buttons. They are worht nothing. However, I did still have a few “unmarked” tokens, that I sold for silver. Please let me sell my Rep buttons at the same price.
While I say that the particle effects culling should work on legendaries too, the culling should not happen to your character. You should always be able to see the particle effects created by your own character.
An active MMO needs to have something to draw players to want to play even semi-regularly.
I think this game already has some of the best end game content of any MMO I have played. That should be enough of an incentive to play.
‘Log on every day to repeat the same mundane task’ is not fun and threatens to take the game down the same path as other MMOs.
which mundane task do you speak off? kill 4 veterans?, kill 50 mobs?, do 4 – 5 dynamic events?, kill 12 types of mobs?, dodge? I am not going to be pretentious and say you’ll do all of these by just playing the game for an hour or so but seriously you will get most of them done doing whatever you like doing with a negligible extra effort to get the rest done before you log off. Most of them are tasks you’re going to do anyway even if there was no daily achievement to complete.
As simple as that, it is not that i want to ignore them, nor completely avoid them, but sometimes some privacy wouldnt be too bad! They can see where Im, when Im on and all sort of things without my consent!
Please Anet, I dont want to log in as “invisible” just to avoid a couple of people,I dont have the heart to tell them to buzz off every time they whisper me, first because it is rude and unnecessary and because sometimes I would like to play with them.
Solution: Unless I accept their friend request they have as much information as someone who isnt in my guild/party/friend list!
lolwut? rude? What kind of jerk thinks it is rude when you don’t want to be around them every second that they feel like you should? Anet should not have to waste time dealing with a personal issue that you can fix yourself :P
Better Solution: Just say “Not right now” or “I am busy atm”
I’m just happy with getting something that does not look evil/sinister/fire-themed/etc for once. Thanks for thinking of the Guardians, Anet!
..(for once)
The Radiant Vambraces doesn’t look as good as they should. Why aren’t the whole gauntlet glowing? there’s a part of the gauntlet that’s silver and no glow, doesn’t match the rest of the armour and looks out of place. If they aren’t reworked, i’m pretty screwed for not chosing hellfire.
Because that’s the aesthetic choice? Deal with it until Anet releases a fully-glowing glove piece.
So you think Radiant and Hellfire look equally cool? Radiant look like tier 1.5 ascalon armour and Hellfire 2.0 CoF armour. Radiant need that 0.5 extra to be on par with Hellfire.
Actually no. I found Hellfire to be yet another pathetic mould of ‘fire’ armor. We already have gloves from CoF. We already have gloves from molten (which was given to everyone). I guess we need more fire gloves!
While the radiant gloves have no other alternative in the game. What armor out there shines brightly like Radiant? None.
My personal opinion is that radiant > Hellfire by a large margin.
Evolution and even changing things isn’t bait and switch. Do you even know what bait and switch MEANS. In no court of law would ANY of this be considered bait and switch.
It’s like a restaurant opening mostly with seafood and finding out that more people like steak, so they get rid of some seafood dishes and start serving more steak. People who used to like the seafood dishes stop coming. But that isn’t bait and switch that’s the evolution of a business. Those who like steak have no problem with it. Those that like seafood find another seafood restaurant.
People who continually bring up stuff that was said even before the game launched are the same people who bring up old arguments about what you did last year when the argument should be about what’s happening today.
People are still complaining about the dye system? Really?
How come you’re not listing how the original dye system was where you got a seed drop and you had to go to the NPC in your home instance to grow that seed and you could only grow 1 per day, unless you spent money in the cash shop to buy plant food. Oh I know why you didn’t comment on that change. Because it didn’t prove this point you’re trying to make.
The old dye system was MUCH worse than the new dye system, even if those dyes would have been account bound. But you ignore this in your argument. Instead you point out one article, written by one employee before the game was actually released. In the beta, the plant food thing, with the seeds, that was in the game…and Anet changed it. But get this. They changed it FOR THE BETTER.
So the dyes are not account bound anymore, but you don’t have to buy plant food to see what dye you got, if you want to do more than one dye a day.
This is an MMO. MMOs evolve and change all the time. Keeping a list of all the times Anet made a change to the game should be longer.
Are you also advocating that they said there would be energy potions in the game and there are not energy potions in the game. Why isn’t that on your list. I’ll tell you why.
You want to pick on the things Anet changed that you don’t like, without balancing it out by listing the things Anet has said that they’ve changed that people do like. Here’s another example.
Colin said straight out there would be no way to walk in the game only run. He said that it’s a quote. And then, due to people complaining, Anet added walk. It was a lie, right?
How about when Anet said there would be no way to change eye color that they couldn’t do it. And then Anet put changing eye color in the game, again due to the outcry from fans. How come that’s in your list. Anet said one thing but they did something else.
All MMOs evolve and change. Energy potions, eye color, the ability to walk instead of run are some examples and I can find probably dozens more.
If this is all Anet “lied about” in the years since the game’s inception, they have a pretty kitten good track record.
And I don’t see this thread as productive, just something that will start arguments for no reason. I think the mods should close it.

The only thing they didn’t follow up on out of all of that was account bound dyes which I believe they reasoned out in a later blog post.
/thread?
Why do you even have alts then, when you don’t wanna be in the “trouble” of exploring the maps again? What did you expect? A free ride cause you’ve done it once? It’s not like it’s hard to get to the dungeons around in Tyria, with any proffesion.. And you don’t have to be at the enttrance of the dungeon either. Just have to be on the map where the dungeon si. Now, how hard can it be?
I was asked to share this exchange…
me: Next month has update that introduces player housing, achievement rewards, a jumping puzzle where you fly and new pvp map.
C: I might have a house? Or is it guild house?
me: your house.
C: I want a norn house!
me: the first thing you can add to it is a quartz crystal node by finishing July’s event meta achievement.
C: I want a mounted head. No self respecting norn would have a house without some trophy animal hanging in it.
me: And new movement skills. Go fast skills for traveling. I think. Thats what it sounds like.
C: Does it say anything about taxidermy house decor?
I have a theme going here. ^^_
me: im sure there will be a head of some sort you can get eventually.
You might be able to get yourself a drake head.
C: Yaaaahhhh
C: And plaques. I need plaques to chronicle my deeds. Since I can’t have a hall of monuments. Tell them! Tell the forums!!
C: You know once I have a house I’ll never leave it.
Especially if I can put stuff in it.
me: I think you have to play the game to earn things to put in your house.
C: Figures.
me: Like, you may need to complete the Drake slayer achievement to get the Drake head. So you’ll have to go out and get them.
C: I can slay me some drakes.
There you have it. She has been logging on less and less for the last few months, because dungeons and puzzles weren’t her thing. But this update has reinvigorated interest. …I hope you end up having wall mounted drake heads.
Condition removal.
it’s like karma or skill points. if you spent all yours and need more, just level up some more.
it’s not like trait points where you’re capped at a specific number and choosing points in one thing prevents you from ever being able to put points into something else.
if you are worried about ArenaNet adding new abilities, keep some points in reserve. this also applies to laurels, badges, karma and skill points — always keep some in reserve in case ArenaNet adds new things to spend them on.

Here’s the thing … the match system hasn’t really changed.
What did change, instead of the system saying “your rating is X”, it says “your rating is somewhere between Y and Z”.
As we play against more varied opponents, the system gets more confident in the rating and the difference between Y and Z will get smaller. Arena-net could also make some adjustments to the calculation to bring the range down quicker.
This means, once the range is small enough, we will be playing the same servers most of the time (as before), but unlike before the colors will swap more frequently and we’ll see the occasional server jump up or down every now and then.
Someone who understands! <3 \o/
They aren’t WvW ascended, I find no reason for those. And no..i dont have 8 toons, thats your choice, not mine. Don’t expect the devs to make things just for that few percent who chose to have 8 toons, and play them all the same. If you expect to get full ascended in 2-3 days/ toon, then you basically expect to get a legendary in 4-5 days, including the precursor. If you want to have 8 toons, cool for you, but don’t moan and groan that it takes awhile to get them with ascended, which isn’t ALL that much better than exotic, on all 8 toons…very fast. In nearly every game if you want to gear 8 toons in top tier stuff it takes time.
