I hope all the dragons get this treatment because so far it is pretty awesome. Funny that failing feels better than winning because you know that when you finally win it will be that much better.
Granted, the Champion of Balthazar was pretty well up there. My problem with the boss fights is that with a decent player turnout, you could always kill the boss in just a few short minutes.
Content that cannot be beaten the first try is fantastic. Content that requires a little cooperation is more fantastic. Content that can’t simply be DPS’d to hell is even more fantastic than the last.
I don’t care if most of you can’t get him below 90%. This is one boss that you’ll be able to brag about once you finally beat him.
You’re not being a jerk,lol. And you have a point, if I don’t like it, I don’t have to play it. But my point is that when anet adds more content that is suppose to be more challenging, it also needs to be more fun. They have made a habit out of this, so just asking if anyone else agrees/disagrees…

Firstly, kudos on your second paragraph.
Secondly, different strokes for different folks. I haven’t killed Teq, but I find the fight a LOT of fun. It feels epic, massive, exactly like what fighting a dragon should be like, and the possibility of failure adds to it. Even if I don’t get material rewards for it, I’d still show up for the fight and give it what I can. I just did the fight on my home server, and people seem to agree with me- everyone was excited even though we failed, thanking the turret gunners, talking strategy about the next go-around, and yelling light-hearted threats at Tequatl.
At the risk of sounding abrasive, your opinion is not universal, and the devs are not required to tailor all content to your personal preferences. Again, I don’t say that to be trollish- it’s just the best way I can word it, sorry.

Please keep it in the gem store. Being able to buy it for gold, which I earn through a variety of activities, is so much better than grinding the same dungeon 20+ times for an armor set.
This is why they put armor and skins in the shop ^^ this guy right here. Not saying its bad it is just another demographic.
There are people that actually hate PvE and will not do it if they don’t have to. If a new dungeon came out with that had new armor skins. You would see a thread “Anet why didnt you put it in the Gem Store like the other armors? Why am I forced to PvE”

In other words: The Gem convert Price can only ever go in one direction most of the time. It can never, and will never, experience a long period of devaluation ever again.
Either that… or you’re talking about flipping/farming gold. And I shouldn’t even have to explain why that won’t work if everyone starts doing it.
And it should be like that. Purchasing gems with in-game gold should take a lot longer time than earning real money to spend.
The difference being that many people actually enjoy playing the game and earning the gold, while they have little motivation to push around shopping carts for a few hours, even if the extrinsic rewards are greater.
Now a long period of devaluation is impossible. Gems are still underpriced, IMO, but the prices should slowly reach equilibrium while fluctuating around it.
In the last 6 months I have bough two things from gem store. One armor skin set and a quiver skin. I’m not interested in cute town clothes, rng boxes or buffs.
I’m quite sure that they want some money from people like me too. More armor and weapon skins please!
Ionno mang, I ain’t creative and I was talkin bout the gem store. It’d be pretty chill if they sold stuff like more armor skins that were seasonal instead of just town clothes, also swimwear when your character goes in the water would be pretty chill.
I wasn’t really interested in the Royal Terrace at the start. The pass dropped off a destroyer. I went in and oh boy I can’t stand the thought of having to return to all the filthy peasants in LA. Stocked up on passes. I dread the day they all run out.
I will miss that area as well, once my pass runs out tomorrow. Didnt even know it wont be availalbe anymore otherwise i would have bought a couple.
In the meantime, you will find me in Ebonhawke. Quite place with guild bank and BLTP right next to all profession crafting. The only downside is no MF and higher waypoint costs because its on the rim of the map-
Rata sum is even better. The accountancy waypoiny is my standard waypoint for all characters. All but one, she has a pass. Royal terrace -> all. Even has a mystic forge and personal myani.

There is also the convience of not needing to go deposit things in the bank with the bag slot… and if you’re doing things like speed clearing dungeons/aether events it helps keep your inventory from maxing out when you’re trying to do things quickly and don’t have time to weed through it all. I’ve had less need of bigger bags since the account MF was added since I can just salvage and get that MF.
It’s convenience. Alternatively, just salvage your junk or sell it on the TP. All it does is save you a trip to the merchant. If that’s worth 5€ to you, spend it. If not, don’t.

it is going a bit out of topic but i suggest you google some eula included cases over the globe. You’ll see it can be counted invalid on certain parts. Google will help you more It depends how good your lawyer is and the decision of the court.
When your appeal reaches the Supreme Court I’m sure they’ll give you the $60 you spent on the game back.

Why are you even playing this game if you don’t trust them. I have no reason to believe they are making human errors.
I do believe that there is some propaganda by the RMT-ers going on who are trying to put Anet in a bad spot here. Keep that in mind when you are reading people claim that anet autobans.
Anyways, I know that (if you are innocent) that it is annoying, but I do think that this behaviour is the way to get your issue resolved. Anet has the right to terminate your account and don’t need a reason, thats what you agreed to when you started playing. So maybe try to talk to them and bout them a little bit more friendly.
