Underpowered as a mesmer skill, overpowered as a guardian skill. Imagine the shenanigans with signet of inspiration, empower, and altruistic healing. An 8k heal for yourself, and 24 stacks of might for your whole party.

I think somebody is being more than a little dramatic.
Remember the Mad King’s Clock Tower? That’s the way to reward people… Imagine if the chest a the top rewarded one of the dragon weapon skins… I’d be ok if you could only do it once per account. Right now, getting a weapon skin all about luck.

It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
Funny thing is though ooc is not as common as he thinks as it is not on the wiki.
I guess it became more common in the past 2 hours because ooc is there now.
The main reason is simply that at the point that outmanned does that, it encourages servers to have fewer players on to take advantage of the stat boost. That, in turn, will cause people to yell at other players for logging on and taking away the buff.
We feel like our fractals dungeon is the perfect fit for this kind of “historical” experience, similar to the way the BMP worked in Gw1. Even better, it already exists and has explanations behind why these slices of time are available to discover and experience within.
In the future, you’ll see certain types of content that was part of larger story experiences be updated to work within the fractals dungeon and return there where it makes sense to do so. Of course, the specific rewards and achievements will not return since those are intended to be completed as the story unfolds, but the content itself will be used to expand out our fractals experience and serve as a place to continue to experience great (and strange) moments in history.
The problem is not that Warriors bring too much damage, but that damage is the be all and end all in GW2 PvE. The Trinity needs to be fixed, not the warriors.
Having the outmanned “buff” visible to the enemy teams causes the other 2 servers gang together against the weakest one.
This will no longer be the case in the next build. We’ve changed outmanned so that only friendlies can see it.
As the title says…I had enough of this…even the cultural t3 light armor, which was designed(???) for charrs clips the tail. You made a beast race, yet you totaly forgot about them, most of the cultural armors are okay, but nearly every other armor clips. Why? Why is this so hard to fix? I love this race the most but this tail clipping issue makes me sick.
The dailies are a problem. They are meant to award you for “playing how you want to play”. Being online several hours a day I rarely get 5/9 dailies from playing how I want to play which includes doing most of the world bosses (Kills, veterans, mentor, kills in area X) and doing explorable dungeons (dungeon daily). I do not like WvW zergfest which is 2/9 every day and I certainly don’t eat 25 foods or use the toilet 5 times a day. Dailies ARE forced if you want laurels – But that is okay because they award you for how you want to play.. Oh wait.
I’ll summarize for you:
“I do not want to do effort but I want reward.”
or if you feel like a boss:
“I want to do what I want to do and net the reward I want.”
Pretty accurate huh?

I dunno why your posting here instead of the thief forums.
The class has been broken and left alone since launch due to devs incompetence/laziness in balancing the class. You barely touched on the multiple imbalances of the class.
You can’t chain stun a thief who knows how to abuse the class etc due to sword shadow step. It breaks stun and bypasses immobilize. It is more powerful than our 40s cool down utility skill stability..
If you want to vent your dissatisfaction go post in the 80+ page thread complaining about thieves since launch.
The class is OP and everyone knows it and all the arguments against the balance are L2P etc as are all the usual arguments by people being carried by their class -mesmers/guardians-.
I suggest you either roll a thief, post on the thief forum thread complaining about the balance or do both.

Got mesmer down. was about to use the stomp.
I had 12 k hp left of my 20 total..
I saw a poff of smoke.. and then i was dead. looking at the target that killed me.

My first reaction was… wtf realy ?? 12 k hp.. insta killed. on heavy armor… seriously.
WTF is wrong with the Designers that should balance this game.
On top of the supreem mobility on a thief. it has invisibility. that not even Dots uncloak… they dont even leave a bleeding trail or anything… just… gone.
And Also thieves have this stupidly insane op burst dmg, wich you cant realy protect yourself against… your dead before you react.
Because the fight is like this most of the times:
I target a thief.. i start to shoot at him..he notice he gets dmg and vanish…
switch weapons to prepare melee…
2 seconds later. you see a poff of smoke around you.. THIEF…
You start to swing.. “my hp is fine, i get this”… “WTF.. iam down already ? its 2 seconds into fight”…
My warrior in 20 k hp.. have actually been 3 hitted by a thief..
It was the most stupid thing i have ever seen.
Sure, that thief had full zerker gear and low hp…
but who needs hp if you can 3 hit 20 k hp…
Feck, i dont want to know the dmg they can do against Light armor.

Maybe they should increase our base armor ? (like alot)…

I usualy find my thiev very boring to lvl… but iam REALY starting to think about joining the stupidly op side and lvl my thief to 80 also.
one in my guild occupied 6 ppl for 15 minutes…then they got lucky and could chain lock him.
So thieves are also super trollers… REALY good balance by A-net…
Charr are not a “sexy female human/norn/sylvari” whose body they can exploit sexually and make money from, so no, they don’t care about charr.
When its comes to armors..Ppl actually are sick of the limited armor varienty for charrs, tons of them has clipping issues mostly with tail, helemts which hides horns and such..Yet the new armor..also has clipping issues and no hole for tail at all.
Do they completely don’t care about charrs? What was the point in making them playable race if they don’t care about them. Is making a single hole for tail is too much work or something? For me with new armors they actually proved that we won’t ever see current armors made properly for us.

A lot of the skills in this game lead me to believe that very little in the engine is programmed for dynamic values, instead having static instances that get swapped around as needed.
This seems to be true. Another example is in skill descriptions. It seems when a skill changes, the in game mouse-over descriptions (for example damage, range, etc.) are not automatically changed! It appears that someone has to manually change the description (in the case of a skill balance) or that an alternate skill description needs to be written (in the case of skill being changed by traits). See all the problems we had with Spiteful Talisman!

Agree that retal is a broken mechanic.. been saying this since day 1.. and playing age of conan from early access untill just 2-3 months before gw2 release i know what Caid ment. Thats a good example of a bad mechanic. Anyone not knoeing what i mean just search conq retal on youtube and youll see.. loving this matchup tho
and yes guardians cant really avoid retal , specially with hammer :P

well the whole retal things hurst anyone using multihits and ground target AoE`s, and there are a lot of professions who have their AoE builds centered on multi hit AoE, ranger, ele, necro, and grenade engi are some of the key builds.
You can’t stay alive if your taking 3-6k per second in retal ontop of normal damage, so a lot of people swap to beefy melee or to spec’s that don’t use a lot of multi hits.
It is not some intentional sneakiness, it is simply just the way it has to be until something is done about retal on the BL maps, and in general for anyone using an ability with multiple projectiles.
But with the balance the way it is there are not a great deal of viable WvW spec’ing options for guild play if you gotta avoid multi hits or multi projectiles like the plague.

I absolutely agree with retaliation issue, playing with engi i really have to excessively restrain myself. I really hope they’ll find a right balance between utility for the users and way of dealing with it for the takers.
