As far this rank skills are good to define better roles, due map characteristics i dont see them as improvements, maybe with another game design.
i would gladly buy a gw2 expansion to real siege and WvW game model… not this AB with walls thing.

as a bunker, this is how 2 bunker guardian fight over 30 minutes.
Swarms or necros thiefs mesmers, range classes and massive condition spam.
For experience of what i fight against:
1. Thief (rare to find thiefs soloing always come in parties)
2. Necro (never less than 2 or 3 together)
3. Mesmer(always with thiefs or necros nearby)
4. Warrior (sometimes zerkers for killshot target call)
note: making one to test myself with the trait for 6% more damage on boon users.
5. Guardian
6. Ele
7. Ranger
8. Engi

Im not familiar with gamming code, but i believe colision detection is client side, not so sure but i think theres an option on client to activate it, example to roll over target or not(ghost effect), i believe this would be fun even in swarm colision ^^ as people dont behave like ghosts and get to the other side, players would be needed to kite everyone and everything ^^.
Yeah even on siege would be fun to have colosion, problem is that player would use rams/siege as second doors, if isnt balance i dont know since theres a siege limit it should be valid IMO.
By other hand if its client side validation, i have 140% sure that would get defaced by 3rd party programs

- Several resources instead of supplies (mines, swammils, Mist Crystals.
- Alliances\guild had to build their castles XD (from X models deppending on alliance\guild points).
- Castles \ towers would have inner components. even could be some instanced zones like portals for JP to castle inner rooms.
- Movable siege
- No more tower siege to castle siege.
- Commander tag colors and symbols selection menu for better cordenation.
- Guild Symbol on tag as we had on Beta.
- For fast travel with siege Doylak farm to carry siege.
-Siege as upgrades on buildings.
- More siege vehicles/
- Might lock servers.
- More terrains(Desert; florest etc)
- Maybe a sky ship to try air invasions.
- Guild banners could be carried by officers with special field roles.
Yeah a totally different game.
Admit that some of the content is based on other mmo’s and strategy games.
Sometimes the best game/content is to put together the best of each game genra, and inovate that way showing how marvelous those elements can work together.

Just asking wich WvW tier u play?
Players saying condition is a meta atm becouse on WvW all you see is necros swarms and builds based on conditions damage.
Pvt hammer train is past, in my opinion offcourse.
Edi: im not telling that theres a condition meta, players just sawping to more productive builds/classes.

u guys notice this is only theory right? do not work on the field.
There are classes that make 3%-6% more damage per boon.
And conditions damage makes much more damage than regens can cover plus minor healings.
If its is for Pve only, anything on healing power makes guardian very sturdy
.

Pve culling changes same time as huge zerg event. Maybe they are using this to test changes.
Thats what i tough also, couse when i checked when LS event was , i could load every one and everything just with some minor FPS drop(with all maxed settings).
More non flashy neon maces and shields skins would be nice.
As mace guardian we dont have much to choose.
Wanted to play the living story. Came into non-event overflow. Logged out and played something else.
Yeah and me, takes ages for the next event to get up and running, it’s just turned into a waiting game.
Anet just needed to make this with real player swarms, as far i dont like it either(almost killed the game for me), since this game is “built on top of” distric overflows system like GW(1) this kind of events need to be reworked in future.

That is all gw2 pve is about, and the reason to raid those events, i guess most players are loving it.

Everyone should know by now anet is no good at presenting a story.
That’s the problem, the first game lore was just AWESOME that deserved a movie(Trilogy),Flameseeker Prophecies, War on Kryta , the Shining Blade, White Mantle, even the events/daylies after Eye of the North looked better at being LS than the way that LS works(mechanically) on gw2.

This is a terrible idea. I won’t be able to play the content if it’s a dungeon or instance, I need the help from other players.
all instances even on story mode accept the 5 party man, game is built on top of that.

We cant blame Anet for this, since all NCsoft products work on this way, at least the ones i played, with daylies and mindless(as basic) gameplay, i said in the past with this district/overflow system is impossible to make LS work properly unless LS is character restricted instance like story line is.

PVE working as intended, since player were complayning about zergs on WvW, zergs(mindless groups) were moved to PVE.
iv’e seen commander and player using caps lock but for attention calls or some kind or alert.
this on WvW, pve commanders is just a tag/beacon to follow on arah purification process

Health pools and damage arent artificial “difficulties”, mobs dont try to evade your atacks dont cleanse each other conditions dont do blast finishers.. plz dont make this game what is not, there arent artificial difficulties.

I was actually depressed by that response. He said when/if. That means they defintely haven’t started on new maps. And they may never.

Thanks for the past year, but as far as the future you can count on our 5 man NEVER supporting another Anet / NCsoft product.
I dont know if i like to hear new maps can be produced, problem here is the siege warfare concept, gameplay and mechanics are basic and stale not allowing the game for further development behind that point.
How WvW is designed to work is the flaw here, players swarm/zerg by design (it is not the player fault), map size and structure helps doing that, there are several aspects of game mechanics that should be reviewed before producing new WvW maps.
Just a funny note, why siege have wheels if cant be movable?
This game had potential but now its become so grindy it’s like ‘work’ away from work and turning into all those other MMOs. Laurel grind, daily grind, achievement point grind, wexp grind, whats next??

It’s not optional, it’s mandatory if you don’t want to fall behind the rest of the pack. For example, say you stop playing now, what will happen when they introduce ascended armor or level 500 crafting, which requires like some absurb amount of laurels for a single piece? Well your pretty much stuffed and imagine if you have alts…
I only do WvW or most of the time i spended there, i dont do fractals only did it about 5 or 6 times to help guild party with a 5th member, i didnt like and dont like the daylies system, by other hand i had to start doing the daylies in WVW
sometimes they come w/o i notice even monthly happens that way and w/o that i would not have any ascended at all, atm still working to ascended gear, on 4 pieces so far.
Have to work only in one character, but im ok with that.
Pure of Voice with a full set of Soldier runes removes 3 conditions per shout. Bugged or not, I’m definitely not complaining.
i call it balance since theres classes with crapload of condition aplyers :P

Also, she’s Sylvari. We witness their childlike humor and behaviour across the game, as they are a very young race. I think this plays a lot into how she behaves.

In terms of figths that is why in WvW guardians are always my targets, 90%+ is a free kill w/o effort.
The game also favors those who play daily in order to maximize time gated rewards. This puts players who don’t get time gated rewards daily even further behind, even if they have more skill.
I believe that is a NCsoft problem, other games from the publisher are being based in daily stuff also.
As someone who’s worked on Indy games in the industry (As a character artist, mind you. It isn’t my job to figure these things out.) I find it extremely difficult to comprehend how to make things actually skill-based. Liadri is an example of

When people talk of “fake difficulty” that sounds like its a complement to lack of certain mechanics or adaptation capacity, and i can start noticing lot of stuff that works arround that here.
