Here goes the third movie people! This is a newer version of the setup I used for my very first PvP video (Which you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwAmovcxGww ) Hope your all gonna enjoy this one!
Used some more time on editing the music for some matching with what’s going on this time, hope people like it!

Note: You can use Rare Veggie Pizza as well, the condtions end up doing a decent damage with 20 stacks of might, and Chilled and Immobilse both help out.

Concept Idea:
A trait setup that allow’s you to burst down any Glass Cannon setup (which a lot of people use in WvW) in a 1vs1, still having some defense ability’s (Condition Removal, a decent health pool and Elixir S). On the same time I wanted it to have AoE power for zerg, siege and smaller guild force group play. This it will gain from easy 15-25 might stack’s and the Grenade kit, leaping out good heavy chunk’s of AoE damage
Rifle: For CC and Burst Power, his your man!
Elixir H: Cause it’s an Elixir Trait build
Grenade Kit: For Grenade Barrage in Burst, and AoE damage
Elixir B: See Elixir H
Elixir S: Cause Elixir S, enough said!
Strength:
Strong, easy to setup, burst damage, that will get any enemy GC setup to bend over and take it!
Still having place for “Out of Jail” Utility —> Elixir S, making you able to dodge their burst
Highly capable of putting down AoE pressure in larger fight’s, and can dish out heavy ranged damage!
Weakness:
Not that good at Kiting
Having trouble’s facing several enemies alone
Weak at roaming cause it’s lacking perma swiftness
My Opinion: A rework of the original trait setup that got me into playing Engineer, I find it very powerful at doing it’s job in WvW at any aspect of it to, it’s very well rounded, good at small scale and larger scale. It’ fun to mess around with, and adorable good to take down hated enemy’s like GC Theif’s and Warriors!

Okay, here goes the second movie! Most of you have seen this one all ready, but I ain’t gonna make a new video with the trait build up in the near further, so your gonna have to live with this one for now!
Build name: The Troll
Concept Idea:
To be a troll, or not to be! This my friends, we all have asked ourself once I’d like to believe, and after roaming around with Markus a lot, I did indeed choose to be a troll!
This build is all about tanking, dodging and in general being and annoyance to the enemy, while your teammate’s eat them alive!
Pistol/Shield is the way to go for max defense! obvious pick! A reflect and AoE Knock back + moar block, what’s not to like?
Toolkit: Your gonna kite around a lot, and try to be an annoyance to the enemy, and need defense, again, this is where toolkit really shine, lot’s of cripple, a pull spell, a 3 sec block and confusion! Yep it got everything a troll need!
Bomb kit: Seeing as your gonna kite around a lot, and have up several enemy’s hunting you, bomb kit and it’s AoE and awesome kite skill’s is ideal
Elixir S: Cause Elixir S, enough said!
Strength:
Nothing is gonna get you down 1vs1!
Great group player setup for anyone that like to take a bullet for your friends!
You bring intense amount’s of cripple and AoE chilled!
Able to kite several enemies for long periods of time and several oh kitten buttons!
Can take a tough beating from several hostile force’s!
Weakness:
Anything that stack intense amount of condition damage
No Burst, so any 1vs1 is gonna take a looooong time (But you will win if it ever comes to a conclusion)
Forcefull Explosive’s is still bugged, lowering your damage even more still!
Mistake’s is punished hard, making it quite unforgiving to play!
My opinion: Extreme fun to play as this setup, so much trolling around with people! Playing with friends make it double as fun! It’s such a great way to support a group as an Engineer!

Here goes the first setup and it’s movie!
Build name: The Napalm Specialist!
Concept idea: A Condition Damage build that focus on the insane large amount’s of burning the engineer class i able to create!
I went with Pistol/Pistol cause obviously it’s the way to go for condition damage and burning!
Medkit: Cause I don’t do an deep Alchemy trait setup, and healing turrent bugs to much, medkit is the winner here.
Toolkit: for stronger defensive, more confusing (the second damage option here), and more control vs my opponent!
Elixir S: It’s simply my love, the defensive and offensive ability’s of this thing is intense, now if it only always gave me stealth on toss, I would be a kitten happy Engineer, it’s a must for me while vs several enemies.
Rocket Boot’s: For an extra stunbreaker, and able to get out of Crippled, Chilled and Immobilized! Yes the knockdown is annoying like hell, but I actually got used to it! anyway, main reason I took it is of cause cause the toolkit ability is even more burning damage on a low cooldown!
Strength:
Insane strong 1vs1 – didn’t loose any 1vs1 in the open field while trying to get footage.
A lot of low cooldown spell’s, and able to stack permanent amount’s of burning
Great mix of offensive and defensive!
Even while being condition damage build, it got some hard hitter’s like Prybar, and strong CC in any 1vs1
Weakness:
Guardien’s, D/D elementalist’s and Condition Damage Necromancer’s! Stay away from the 3 classes if they ain’t alone, they are simply to much a pain the butt with the amount of condition removal.
The build suffer’s from both rocket boots and blowtorch in general miss for no reason at all!
It’s messy to play when there is 2+ enemies.
My opinion: It’s really fun to play this build if you enjoy to roam around and take people down 1vs1, and is capable of winning 1vs2 as well! It work’s great in small squads as well!

Greetings everyone! seeing as I have set myself on a project to create as many fun WvW (at least for me) build’s as I can, while creating some movie’s! Have I decided that I’m gonna create this one single topic where I will keep re posting every time I create a new build with a movie to it!
An introduction to who I am and what I do: I play an Asura Engineer named Drakeco Dustslinger, I play on Gunnar’s Hold [EU] now, and focus close to 80% of my time on doing WvW stuff with my guild: No Names Forever [NNF]. I’m not gonna waste my time arguring about Engineer situation in PvE nor tPvP, cause I simply don’t care about it, all my fun comes from WvW, which is what matters to me!
My movie’s will be a mix of my solo play, and some of my footage with Markus Valadir (an IRL m8 playing a Theif). I focus my movies on great 1vs1 duels, but try to get some good 1vs2 and 1vs3. In general I will try show footage of the setup vs as many different classes, but it’s quite hard to create good enough footage, where you actually can see what’s going on!

I’m so busy with testing one new trait setup after the other I hardly have time for anything else! it’s a great time! Brian storming lot’s of new movie’s with WvW action I gotta make for you people to see them setups in action! So all In all I’m having a blast playing my engineer more then ever before!

I might have taken Invigorating speed myself for more dodge’s, seeing as you can swap kit’s while dodging and avoid more damage that way!! Have you tested out how that work’s? cause I see you standing and soaking a lot of damage some of the time
I have actually been fooling around with a trait setup in WvsW yesterday and today that’s a mix of condition damage from pistol’s and CC

I use Pre/Con/Tough Armor with Coral jewel’s, Superior sigil of Smoldering and Superior sigil of “I still can’t remeber it’s name but there’s a 60% chance on crit to remove a condition and it’s my new found love”
It’s actually quite fun, and I made it to get myself away from my elixir (cause they are sooo good)
You will hold you ground great in any 1vs1, and most 1vs2 you still got a fighting chance, but as soon as it turns into 1vs3 it’s simply to messy for CC and I turn tail and head off
The burning damage we are able to pull off as an engineer is my lasted interest and it’s actually quite amazing what we are able to do! You can swap Elixir S in instead of rocket boots! for more survival (love that neat little thing)

Pro tip: Ignore Rezzet and play the Engineer when you like it!
Some of our kit’s work better then other’s, Flamethrower being the weakest if you ask me. Tool Kit being the strongest and most handy hehe
But if you like the bomb kit, there is two way’s you can go with it, either the tanky defensive way, or the the high condition damage roaming engineer way in WvsW (Work’s fine in PvE for AoE damage)

I gues with 20x Skill’s you have to do some work to keep up with the different CD’s ect. I would say we have an easier time with our kit’s, seeing as they don’t have any CD when we swap around with it. Tho, a 3x Kit Engineer would have the same work to do, if it actually worked to do that, then an elementalist

This is my own Rifle Burst build, with a twist of Grenade’s for them siege fight’s, and it have been working wonder’s for me all ways

Berzeker armor and weapon, Knigt’s Jewel’s. Pick 2x from 3 of these these runes: Superior rune of the Pirate, Fire, Hoelbrak or Strength, and superior sigil of strength and then see the might stack’s gong up!
WvsW opens up a kitten lot of different build’s, with a lot of minor tweaking left open for you depending on your taste? personally i experiment with several different setup these days, so I might have a few build’s that would interest you? But can you be more specific about what you seek? A Rifle power build? A Rifle CC build? AoE damage? P/P condition damage, or maybe a P/S Tank build?

For me, it’s a lot of fun to hang around with my Theif buddy, on my Engineer I can cover up a lot of the weakness he have with his Burst D/D setup, and the P/D condtion seutp which he use in the movie!
We are planing to test out a P/P Burst Theif setup where I will try work in a Rifle CC build in a near future, but so far I only have positive experience from this teamwork, and it’s a lot of fun!
Also. It’s fun that we both wear medium armor, so we can match each other in the look, and create stuff like a cowboy theeme! 
I got the exact same amount of loot bag’s as Markus when we do these “attacks”,
I allways hit everything, mostly cause I trow so much AoE around me, and I actually get more loot when we joined zergs, because I had far more AoE from my bomb kit then that AoE poor Theif! So you shouldn’t be afraid of trying the setup because of loot lag, that wasn’t a problem at all!

I agree it can be very hard to keep up conditions as a Engineer (I hate the slow firing rate of the pistol, and the way to short bleeding duration), which is why I focus on burning damage when I use a condition damage build, which out damage this setup by far (guess I will make a video of that when I got the time). Tho, bomb/grenade kit and toolkit really helps out a lot with a pistol setup while being chased, for having stuff to trow behind you
But yeah, I hate condition’s in particular as Engineer, mostly because they are no problem at all when I run my elixir build’s, but it seem’s like everything that can remove condition’s is put away in elixir’s and alchemy tree (and the buggy healing turrent overload <.<)., where I often lock myself away for the easy solution, and it get’s dull to use the same stuff all the time!
Well, I gotta admit I’m sloooooowly leveling my mesmer at the moment, which actually was meant to be my main (also the one I named Amadeus, which is my usual game tag) and the class i played during all beta weekend’s, but I just kinda fell in love with the Engineer when I made it the last day in the third beta weekend!
But I ain’t gonna do much on the mesmer beside siege work when my guild is missing one for portals and AoE haste for ze golem army!
Keep in mind that while you increase condition duration in 1/4s increments you only get damage ticks in 1s increments. Bleeding is 2s, poison 2, blind 3, burning 3 or 1. So you’d need to get to +33% condition duration to see an extra tick of blind or long burn and you’d need to get to +50% condition duration to see an extra tick of bleeding or poison. This is why Runes of Melandru and other -condition duration are so popular. If you have no +condition duration then your condition applied automatically lose at least one tick which on a 2s condition means 50% damage reduction.
Aye aye! 10 Point’s in explosive = 10% longer Duration
4x Rune of the lich = 10% longer duration
2x Rune of Lyzza = 10% longer duration
2x giver’s gun’s =20% longer duration
= 50% longer duration! baby I’m loaded and ready hehe!
But yeah, it’s about stacking them for longer durations!
I won’t have time to play today Maska, but I will try scout for you in my borderlands!
But Incendiary Powder with it’s 33% chance on crit I gues it depends on your crit chance? with the pistol damage build I run with someday’s I got 50% chance, which means I pretty much pop it every time it’s off cool down giving me close to permanent burning on my foes with the use of Blowtorch as well!
You have problem with people getting away? hmm… Well It really ain’t a problem for me in either of these setup up, and the more tanky one make’s me a kiting, chasing and escaping beast! The only thing that got away from me was a D/D elementalist that used everything she had to flee, and most of the time it’s my job to chase down people (Markus setup have problems with that)
The first setup got Magnet, Trow wrench that give cripple, 2x Freeze, where the one triggering at the use of a healing skills is very easy to time, Glue bomb, Box of nails, and Toolkit auto attack and a knock back if timed right, pretty much gave me all the control chasing people!
The trick’s I used was Magnet into glue bomb, following up wih box of nail’s, trying to stay on them, or In front of them If I could see where they where going (like a keep or zerg ect.), you have so much slow most people simply give up trying to escape you, and while fleeing Box of Nail’s truly shine in combo with 2x block’s, perma swiftness and vigor!
But in particular Tool Kit really shine in everything it do, as Markus noted for me, 2x of the skills is way stronger versions of two Theif Utility’s ^^ (Scorpion Wire = Magnet (shorter CD), Box of Nails=Caltrops (a lot shorter CD)…. So atm I’m working on using it with a sturdy CC rifle build for our next for fun Cowboy themed movie, where he will be going classic Gunslinger on the Theif!! =)
@KirinDave: I did no damage to the Guardien mostly cause he removed condition’s all the time with his setup, which hurt’s my confusion damage a lot, and he knew when not to attack when I had many stack’s. Also, the Necromancer put a lot of pressure on me to begin with (This setup can have problem’s with conditions), so in that fight I was a lot more focused on just staying alive and avoid that big hammer hehe, I’m afraid of the Red Guard!! ^^
And I’m not the one supposed to deal the damage alone anyway, it’s a team effort when we take people down, I’m there to soak up the damage! and heck, I love being the side kick, so much more fun then playing the Theif atleast!

For this setup I use Soldier’s armor with Superior rune of Grenth, Superior sigil of Hydromancy and Superior Sigil of (60% chance on crit to remove a condition, can’t remeber the name) and Knight’s Jewel (got two ring’s with soldier stat’s to).
The theory behind Grenth and Hydromancy was to bring as AoE Freeze for more defence and slow, as I could combo it with the rest of condtion’s, it helpt me kite easier, and gave protection indirect to Markus (by giving them longer cool down duration)! 1x Giver’s gun and 1x Giver’s Shield
In a few of the fight’s in Markus footage (from friday) I tried this setup:

Where I ran with the Toughness/Condition/Precesion gear, and Coral Jewel’s, 4x Rune of Lich and 2x Rune of Lyssa. 2x Giver’s Gun. It gave a lot better damage, and worked great in 2vs2 and 2vs3, but when they started to get more I simply died to easy, cause everyone went on me (they couldn’t see Markus half the time)…

@Eviator Well I gotta say, soaking damage up, kiting people and in general create chaos around myself is some of the most fun I have in WvsW! A lot more buttons to click on then a glass cannon Theif, and with the general simply minded player type in WvsW most people (as you see) will target you all the time, making everything a paradise for your buddies!
atleast, it’s worth to try out and see if it’s fun to you!
edit: Also the rune’s and sigil’s I ended up using were quite cheap, and the gear could be brought for Karma or WvsW badges so money ain’t the big deal breaker!

Still waiting for them to fix Giver’s weapon’s, so I can run this setup for fun with 2x of them (giving 20% longer condition duration)! Btw Maska, in explosive trait line there is all ways the good old Icendiary Powder, how come you don’t like that one? 
(Also, been looking for you to take you down ever since Piken ended in same WvsW match up as gandara, where do you hide!?!?)
Hehe ever since we started play together we had the “say hello to my little firend” joke going, so had to be done!
But I (the Engineer) probaly play a bit better then him, but that’s mostly cause I have played GW II a lot more then him, and know better what other proffesions got up their sleeve (To be noted, it ain’t the trait and skill setup I normal run, first time this weekend so I failed a lot)
But also, from what I understand when we discuss his setup, he sometimes dodge because it give swiftness, and other time’s he simply not sure what the enemy is up to from animation!
When that is said, that Theif setup is a great buddy when you roam a round like this, mostly cause it’s so strong for taking care of it self, all I had to do was focus on taking all the attention I could and try slowly take people down with confusion and other tricks!!

This is a little special movie I made with my IRL m8 (also a guild m8)
He play’s a very sneaky Theif with P/D build, where he go invs. all the time.
So we had a lan this weekend, and I sat out to found a setup that could work well with him vs far larger number’s then our own, we made a fun movie out of it (nothing speical, but some good fight’s here and there for you to enjoy). All footage is taken over the weekend, and it was the first time for me using the build’s I tested around (they changed a bit from footage to footage)
But anyway! Have fun watching it, you will see it from both my and my m8’s perspective, but it’s a fun movie none the less!

I don’t say we loose to AR cause of hack, it’s been a good and fun week and you deserve the win. But when we in the middle of a defend, with arrow cart’s everywhere, a gate up and gandara outside hammering their head at the gate, it’s annoying a single player (Which you apperntly know of, you might been part in the attack and would care to explain how suddenly 6-8 players got into our tower??) ruin an entire siege battle with something that for all we saw, and from what I hear my guild m8 says he can see on the video, is hack, is going up on these forum’s so the serve can handle it! it’s not a matter of winning or loosing, it’s a matter about fun and fair figthing, which most on AR have been giving me plenty of! But if you don’t remove the rotten able in the basket, it can spread fast to the other able’s in the basket!
Me, and and all major PvP guilds on Piken I’d gues, would like you guy’s to report any hackers from our side aswell I’m certian, cause they spoil the fun!

So, right now me and my guild mate’s fra [NNF] was defending Greenbriar in Gandara borderlands! Really good time’s with the red Gandara, when suddenly, out of nowhere, a little AR group fly into the tower some how, all from the guild [LDF] (Larmes do Feu), and cap the tower while we are busy defending the gate (shame on us for not looking at lord room), but still. So, this look like hack to me, and I can send some screenshots (Anet don’t want us to post SS about stuff like that here).
Anyway, any know this guild, or is from it, that would care to explain what you just did before we report the entire guild for hacking?

@Kyon do you even realise that the warrior in that video have one thing you need to dodge (which is insane easy to dodge) and is worth jackkitten when he miss that shot? He is so easy to counter that my 11 year old sister could beat him! The Engineer ain’t a one trick pony, seeing as he don’t suffer even half the amount of pain that the warrior would do if his Kill Shot miss! It’s stupid to compare two weapon’s that ain’t supposed to do the same and whine over one do more direct damage compared to the engineer rifle! Casia pretty much nail the situation about how it works
(also, the warrior is doing a lot, actually every single trait, gear stat and rune is taken to make max damage output, which again leads back to my point: He would loose any decent 1va1 because he got nothing when his Kill Shot is dodged/Blocked/reflected. The same goes for the engineer, which end up doing pretty close to the same amount of damage over a bit longer period, but with more CC and tricks up his sleeve, which I would take anyday)
@KirinDave you should start hunt these Rifle warrior’s seeing as they are even easier to destroy, since they got NOTHING to do when you target them… That pretty much sum up most glass cannon builds if you first break their only trick, but that’s way harder to do vs one of these engineer’s, mainly cause everything ain’t comeing from one single attack, which actually is baaaad to (All damage from one attack) if your enemy have half the brian! I personal have been going with the tougher Alchemist trait’s, and I can hand down say I have no problem 1vs1 anything out there! there is flaw in the engineer class, a lot of them, but stop letting out nonsens about one the thing’s that actually work great for our class – The good old Engineer Rifle…
Now go reroll all of you whiner’s to that warrior rifle you admire so much, more free kills for me ingame, and less kitten whining on these forum’s so we maybe finally can get some constructive talk up about the class! Ain’t gonna bother posting in here, mostly in respect for OP, so he can have a somewhat nice clean thread about his still (good and funny video)

Just to add a bit of perspective to this as a former Engineer (from launch) who finally got the hint and rolled Warrior, here’s a Rifle Warrior.
That’s it. Im done. Rerolling something else. After watching both videos I can’t hold out any longer haha.
So after watching a 100% glass cannon one trick pony warrior attack people from safe place’s most of the time, hitting people running a way, and is showcaseing nothing else but “Hey if my enemies is stupid or don’t notice what I’m doing I can pew pew them”, and afterwards watch a quite well made video with a Engineer doing a way better job in harder fight’s you want to reroll? Goes for the rest of you guy’s in the thread that compare, you really think big number’s is what make a class good or not? <.< (Not that the Engineer movie is much more then huge number’s to, but at least some of the footage is actually a good fight vs a skilled player, and not just random shooting at fleeing enemies)
It’s getting old with all these threads comparing Warrior Rifle with Engineer Rifle, if you guys are so much in love with the warrior rifle, go play it for gods sake! Engineer Rifle skill’s is by far some of the most amusing and awesome skill’s in the game, and I would take them any day before the warrior rifle!
So get over it or reroll, really!
I think the Runes of Altruism are more interesting for support engis than Giver’s stats.
I’m not sure what to have to do with the Giver’s stats on weapon to do haha, but I’m glad for you that you think that!
Problem is Giver’s armor only give Boon Duration! :/ so t ain’t the same!
So what I get from the general talk is that Giver’s Weapon stat line actually is quite neat for the Pistol engineer’s? Heck even some of our kits will love it tho when (We hope soon) stat’s from weapon gonna affect kit’s to?
I’m in the WvsW area, where condtion removal in large amount’s ain’t as common as in sPvP, also, all our condtion giving skill have low cooldowns, so we should still be able to stack some stuff up!
Warning: Do not listen to this guy and roll a Engineer if you find the class awesome! We can do just fine in WvsW which I do for a majority of my time ingame, and I love it
Yeah I see where your coming from, but was thinking, combo that with 10% from 2x Superior rune of Lyssa, and a 10-30% longer from our Explosive trait line, that could end up pretty beast couldn’t it?
well that does complicate testing yeah, but in theory? it should be quite useful for Pistol’s right?
Forgive me if the talk all ready been done! But anyway, I’m normal a Rifle Engineer, so I haven’t paid much attention to pistol since Beta weekend 2, but! I was helping my Theif m8 getting his Pistol/Dagger build up, and was looking at pistol, and saw the new stat line, for you guy’s that don’t know it goes like this:
Vitality, Precision and 10% Longer Condition Duration!

10% longer duration ,that’s 20% longer condition duration if you use two pistol with that stat line!?! With the upcoming weapon stats working on kit’s, and Pistol all ready having: Bleed, Burning, Confusion, Blind, Cripple and Poison, the 10% longer duration seems godly to me?

I haven’t played much with flamethrower much before I hit level 80, so not sure how it is before juggernaut, but I think it will be fine. Only thing to keep an eye out for is skill 1 have some problem with missing if you move around a lot while shooting!
I did level with the grenade kit, Rifle and Elixir’s!
Which for me worked great, since it gave a good a mount of AoE (Useful in WvsW, dungeon’s and solo, cause I’m all about the AoE).
If you want to do a lot of dungeons I prefer Grenade kit and Elixir kit, in two of my utility slots, for a mix of support and AoE damage, and I did stick with Knight’s and berserker gear.
But if you wanna go with the flamethrower, the hot option atm. seems to be going with a might stacking HGH build, so I gues two trait setups (One with grenade and rifle, and one with flamethrower, where you easy could use an elixir gun to), could e something like this:

That’s at least two general idea’s of build that can dish out some decent damage!
Of cause you all ways want the full effect, but it’s nice that you will still hit, just for less damage if the enemy make’s a sudden move/leap/teleport ect and get out of full damage range. I actually think Blunderbuss is a fine skill on the rifle, and I don’t see the need to change how it works (I don’t think anything should be changed about the rifle (Or Shotgun, whatever sail your boat)
It’s some good footage, and a simple good working trait setup! But What do you do when you face a decent played condition damage build player? Like a Pistol/Dagger Theif or Necro? I mean, you have none condtion removal, something I have been trying to avoid in my builds!
So what do you do?

It should be like Pietoro said, devs are able to split skills into PvP and PvE versions and that’s the only valid balancing option
In PvP base heal slightly higher than now, after fix or decent healing power scaling. This way engineer could throw some nice healing if traited (kit refinement) or geared for healing, obviously sacrificing some offensive stats
In PvE we’re not fighting few players like in PvP, we’re facing waves of strong dungeon monsters or huge zergs in WvW. That’s why they should leave either bugged version, or modify it to provide a bit less base healing, but scale well with healing power. PvE will always be based on much bigger numbers than PvP, at least in terms of damage, so healing should also be improved (not only by means of WvW % buff)
I would be cool with them splitting it up in PvE and PvP, but in WvsW that Super Elixir was simply to strong as well when you met people 1vs1, or even 1vs2! Heck, a small group of players could probably have used, or did use, it to great effect while it did heal for that much. It’s not fair I have a heal that spam able, that’s AoE, and heal for that much in any sort of PvP encounter! But I’m all in for giving PvE players buff’s if they are needed
The problem with turrents as you self say, sadly that they ain’t worth much when it goes into a mass battle! And I quite often have to defend as from a siege as well!

Actually, I’m not disagreeing with you about how SE is useful pre-patch and post-patch. Been an engineer since day 1 w/ 500+ hrs playing time. What I’m trying to say is that I’ve experienced SE all changes and after experiencing the “bugged” SE, it’s just too hard to accept the 50% plus healing rate reduction. Bugged SE heals at for at least 400 with out healing stat then we have Kit Refinement to double it. Post-patch we have to overhaul healing equipment just to reach the same results, not even near though. What I’m trying to say is that it’s incomparable to the former SE, and now we have to stack on healing equipment just to meet the former healing power.
I get where your coming from, but the fact is, SE in it’s bugged form was OP. The amount of healing it spitted out was simply way over the top, which I used a lot in my sPvP bunker spec to great happiness, but it simply wasn’t balanced that it could heal for that much! And if you want that much healing power as it gave, of cause you then gotta take gear with +Healing, it made no sense I could heal for these amount’s in my Soldier or Berserker gear while other classes had to spent large amount of traits and stats to get it!
It’s fun to be OP for sometime, but sooner or later things getting fixed, and that’s only fair (Note: I don’t know the situation in PvE, since I don’t do this much, so I might be wrong on some classes is easy able to heal as well in PvE ect.)

I have picked up both Shrapnel and Incendiary Power, since both is rocking good condtions. Shrapnel have no internal cooldown, at least not what I have heard or seen off!
But I’m off cause going with incendiary for the strong burning condition!
First off, don’t bother join the discussion if your just gonna whine about Engineer being to broken to play, there is plenty of this on the forums all ready! I’m sorry for all you PvE player’s that feel Engineer is useless in PvE, but I don’t do in that much, and the situation isn’t the same in PvP for me at least.
So anyway, here is the deal fellow engineer’s, I’m looking at creating a new build for what I do in WvsW: Mainly Roaming around for duels, Scouting, taking supply camps and Caravans. Also, I defend a lot when my guild commander calls for aid at keeps/towers.

So anyway, grenade skill 1# has taken a nerf, which really ain’t that big a deal for me when I roam around alone. But it does handicap the play style when I defend, I’m used to be a moving arrow cart! So I have been looking at two different setup, which I would like to start some discussion on:

The gear I will use for it is Berserker Armor, and Knight’s Jewels, Sigil og battle or just the good old 5% crit Sigil, and the rune combo of 2x Strength, 2x fire and 2x Hoelbrak. It will probably still be quite the beast in 1vs1, with a solid amount of burst and CC. Tho I’m afraid It will lack AoE pressure for prolonged periods of time, seeing as it’s not going to do much condition damage.

So here’s the deal, with sigil’s now working with kit’s and Shrapnel having 15% chance to give bleed, we can now make quite the amount of AoE Condition damage. The gear setup I will use here is going to be a mix of different stuff. Going with Coral Jewels, and a combo of Rampager Armor and the karma gear with Con/Pre/Toughness. Playing around with it in Mist have shown I can stack easy 25 stacks of Vulnerability, 10-15 stack’s of bleed and poison for long duration. While still hitting for some good amount of damage with the grenade’s. Tho, It appear to be weaker then my other build in duel’s on the paper at least! Pistol and Shield + Toolkit is going to give more defense and east access to slow and a pull.
So anyway, anyone been testing with something like this before?
