It’s likely level 3 in Texas having issues. There were issues with this last month too. It’s not Anet. Run ping plotter to find out. Read my link posted above.

What game mode are you looking at? Druid is really the support class as far as healing goes. Chrono offers a ton of utility support. I’d look at those two
Yes long story short it is very very likely your internet. If you download ping plotter and post the results, or read their info PvE on how to read it. You can find out which mode is having problems. You can contact your ISP to pressure the node owners to fix it though you will have varying success with that.
I am not saying they should make legendary armor an outfit for everyone to get, not at all. What I am suggesting is: the people who make the legendary armor (say the heavy set) also get the set as an outfit. So three different outfits in total, one for each weight class. There are times when I would love to have my heavy set on a medium class or a light set on my heavy, etc. It would be great if the people who make the legendary armor could get them as outfits as well.
Bad idea. As stated by another poster – if you want a similar look on other characters burn a transmutation charge. That’s why it’s there.
That won’t work if you have heavy legendary armor and want your ele to use it. This is the point of the thread…..lol
To my understanding, the only reason you want it as an outfit because you want to show off on multiple chars without using the transmutation charges. If that is true, then Anet won’t make it as an outfit because they would want players to buy the charges on gem store, or spend time to get them from reward tracks
No he wants it because you could then use the armor on more than 3 classes. Nothing to do with charges really

OP is saying that, IN ADDITION to the armor PIECES, you should ALSO, as in, PLUS, get an outfit of the set you made. So you get your armor PIECES but can ALSO wear your LEGENDARY armor that you have CRAFTED as an OUTFIT if you want. That is what he is suggesting.

That’s a poor argument. I’m sure at this point they already have the armor designed. They could easily go back and make an outfit in addition to the armor. There’s no point making only an outfit when you have the armor done already.
There’s a way to change this with doing the personal story with someone who is on the same step as you, but in the vigil. Then you accept credit at the end of their mission which switches the order. I’m not sure the details about it tho. It’s often reported as a big as it is confusing, but there is a message that warns you it will happen.
If you have any characters on your paid account they will have, or will be getting, birthday gifts. They vary on how old your character is but they are a nice perk to have. You can wiki them to determine if that should be a deciding factor for you or not, but I would take that into account. Getting to 16iah takes almost no time at all, but you can’t make your account / characters age faster for the gifts.
For PvE you’ll want to do temptest or daredevil. Temptest has all the auto attack projectiles changed to the bifrost rainbow projectiles. Daredevil doesn’t have any skills changed or effected. Mesmer does not use staff in PvE unless it’s just for fun or roaming doing like hearts. Staff isn’t terrible for Mesmer in pvp tho. Really your best bet is temptest.
IMO they just need to make the footfalls last longer. And this for all G2 legendarys, the footfalls disappears as soon as they are made. The G1 legendarys’ last for a while and you can make figure 8s with them.
As for the projectiles, I wish it shot out tiger claws instead of the spirits. The streaks look nice but yeah I wish they made the tiger spirit more visible.
Yes longer footfalls for all g2 legendaries. It’s a problem for all of them :-/
The arguments players have presented in this thread (most in repetition) just do not justify leaving out the traditional leveling/combat system which true players enjoy.

I’m starting to wonder if OP bought his account. In this thread he claims he has a level 80 with ascended. He doesn’t understand how leveling scaling works and somehow a level 15 mob kills him and blames it on level scaling. Even tho he has full ascended.
Then he makes a thread about how, as a new player, he needs help understanding the game like guild UI. This just doesn’t add up.
Why we needed another is beyond me. OP is very much the minority and comes across as abrasive in most posts. It seems this is more directed at stirring up drama but of course that is hard to tell over the Internet.
There was an issue with GWAMM title being awarded accidentally which gave a lot of points. It has since been adjusted to people that were accidentally awarded that title and with it a lot of points and possible AP chests.
You realize it worked fine before the patch when you originally posed the question right? Now since the patch 4/19/16 it doesn’t. Guess it doesn’t matter but yeah.

I have two laptops, one very new compared to the other, but the latter has no issues with packet loss/ latency spikes, while my new laptop ( while on same network) has a tendency to have ping spikes and packet loss occasionally. I’ve checked the drivers, lowered some settings, and can’t figure out the cause of it.
While it might be Level 3 issues, I just can’t figure out why my other laptop has no issues while on same connection. Any idea?
EDIT: Even using a VPN on this laptop doesn’t seem to prevent random lag spikes. Which definitely makes me think it’s something on this laptop.

I would start a thread in the support forum. Post your issues where you have lag spikes but it is not internet related as that is ruled out with your other computer working fine. Post your processor, Windows version, and graphics card. Hopefully someone can help you out and they may end up requesting more info, but that’s a place to start.

Sorry I missed your post. That isn’t Anet. Your packet loss gets carried down from the first hop it’s lost at. The hop you have issues with is farther up on the list. Where it first starts is generally the issue node.
you keep saying its dallas when i dont even live in dallas, and for one not all servers are located at the same place. there are na servers then there are eu servers ,so how do you even know the info you claim is proof is 100% right?because you use some 3rd party program you think you have all the facts please.

It’s just as likely that level3 in Dallas started having issues at the time of the patch. The only difference is I have proof to show that and you offer none to show its Anet’s servers. Anyway unless you read the linked thread above and run a ping plotter test and post your results to offer actual proof you won’t get anywhere.

Yes if you read those threads most have taken my advice and have found its level 3.
You don’t understand how internet works. My thread linked explains that. I can’t have a good connection while you have a bad connection to the same server. My good connection means that your ISP or the route your ISP takes to get to Anets servers is having issues.
It is not Anet, there is no proof to show that. Unless you can present some you can’t change anything.
Some of us don’t want to waste time farming the mats to make the kits when towns sell Mastery Kits for only 15s. It makes more sense just to allow all kits to stack.
25 Mastery kits for 15 silver is instant, can you say the same about the other two methods you people suggested?
The feature you suggest exisists as the gem store “o matic” items. Its a gem store item that would become pointless with adding stacking of salvage kits. Therefore Anet will not add your suggestion. You can argue all you want but that is logically how it goes.
Well I just checked the server and it’s fine. So it could be a specific server IP. Or it’s some issues with the patch and your computer. There are currently issues with level3 in Dallas that started around the time of the patch, but has nothing to do with Anet.
If you want to prove its Anet you need To show packet loss from their server.

Yep the Dallas one is the worst. You can try to contact your ISP to call level 3 in Dallas but I doubt they will do that. You could also try a VPN but I don’t know much about them you’ll have to google it.
yea its definitely anets problem considering there are multiple posts on the same subject and i’ve been playing gw2 for years and never once has my ping been jumping to 1200 like it has these past few weeks.
Regardless you need proof. See my link a couple posts up.
