I just say to myself “this tab is for x, that one for y, etc.” It’s a personal bank so there’s no danger of someone else messing up your system. Really not difficult.

Guild banks allow naming because they are communal.

You can sell the lemons once you “transmute” them into another form. Bit of a reach? Maybe, but I’ll believe the armor thing is unintended when anet decides to stop it.

What if I want to buy an armor piece my character can’t use? I’ve been told it’s possible to pull off some cross-character transmuting tricks with soulbound items.

Rather than whining about a class you clearly have little understanding of why don’t you make a mesmer and try learning how they work? I guarantee it will help you more than this thread will.

I have it on 3 characters and have never seen this.

Investments are always at risk to changes in the market.

For world pve I’m liking GS/sword+focus (focus mostly for swiftness). Put 5 points in illusions then do whatever. Get yourself in tough group fights so you learn how to survive them. mes vs single target is usually an easy time. The lower levels are the hardest while you learn to play a rather intricate class without all the cool tricks.

They are not sold in bulk anymore. You get them from loot bags, or more likely if you need a lot, the TP. I most commonly find them in bags from humanoids in bloodtide.

If you do not have guides you’ll save anything that you get that may be used in discovery, and until I had 400 in cooking, that was up to 3 bank tabs.

You can’t blame the system when you choose to do something in the most inefficient way possible.

When another class changes their weapon set they are still using weapons which they get to choose the look of. I don’t see how it’s the same thing at all.

That is not only on engs , and that is my point. Engs could use less their kits? Sure they can , that means giving up power? It does. But other classes which also want to keep their weapon up will have to do the same.

I would say eles are the ones who actually are locked the most to their weapons actually , ele staff is viable for pretty everything (and they dont have weapon swap). While true it is possible to find more effective builds using other weapons also (still i think the ones with the biggest range of viability is staff).

You’re right, I really don’t understand your point. Other classes don’t have to do the same because they actually use their weapons to attack.

It’s really not as long as you don’t just go crazy and start making all the intermediate ingredients you can. Make what you need when you need it and the inventory management isn’t bad at all.

Most classes don’t have their weapons hidden for most of their lives. I can go for hours playing engi and literally never see my weapon.

You had weeks to buy them. Saying you didn’t have much time to play doesn’t hold a lot of water when it takes like a minute in game to buy gems and use them.

Keeping them timed gives them a bit of exclusivity and excitement over the next set of costumes.
