I actually liked the difficulty for World 2. Now its a cake walk.
Protip: Tribulation Mode.
Protip: All changes made to Normal mode were also made to Tribulation Mode and it too is now a cake walk.
Yep. I already miss SAB vanilla.

Running W2Z1 again for my daily and the rapid part with the geysers has completely been changed. There are no more geysers except for one at the end to go through the waterfall. It now takes zero effort to go through except for one part that has a jumping stone. Nothing a single dodge roll won’t fix.
The next change is when you get to the hillbilly part, also by the entrance to the maze, I noticed a balloon checkpoint as you drop down from the cliff. Once you proceed further, you’ll see the cloud directly in front of the cave entrance.
EDIT: There is now a column that goes up the waterfall in the middle. It reaches about half way. The geyser to the hidden shop also stays up permanently.
EDIT2: There’s also a cloud at the top of the cliff as you’re about to hop across the descending logs to the final check point. The new platform has spikes in TM. The balloon for that cloud checkpoint is in a nook to the right from the checkpoint to to that area.
You’re now forced to proceed across the waterfall when both platforms are coming down at the same time. Otherwise you’ll never make it over the platform with the spikes. It kind of takes away the guesswork of when to jump now.

They added more check points. The changes made to the general zone transfer to TM making it easier too.
are you sure the added checkpoints are in TM? have u actually gone in and checked?
Have you read the patch notes?

Hopefully the changes don’t apply to TM too.
Well I guess if the new Teq is too difficult within the first few days then all we have to do is complain.

Queue the whistle so it’s ready to be played before you start jumping. Practice playing the song really helps. I finished it just as the cloud disappeared.

For the second phase I would kite the sparks around on the center platform while attacking them. I normally take no damage from this. Pay close attention to when he charges his attack on the center platform and get off of it. You normally have a few seconds to react. Hop around the outer platforms and he usually won’t break one near you. After that he’ll be stunned in the center and you can attack him. With the nunchucks, you only have to do this once more.

Zone 1: 2 shops
Zone 2: 3 shops
Zone 3: 6 shops

It is possible without dodge jumping. I did it with a normal jump.
The only tool I believe that is mandatory is the torch. I haven’t checked to see if there’s a way around using it. There was a screenshot with someone at the end that still had the candle so there may be.
I wouldn’t say there’s much risk but there should be increased rewards if it takes more time overall to complete the zone.
I equipped the bombs and killed them from the door. I tried sprinting through it the first time and kept dying.
Once you memorize where the dart traps are, it’s very easy. You can actually see where they are too and the one building with them follows the same pattern for most of the floors.
For the piranha building, you don’t have to go inside. They actually jumped through the doors which made it easier to grab them and take up to the octopus.
Check the sticky on the forums. It should help.

I can’t see the text in the spoiler on my phone. I’m assuming you’re referring to taking the shortcut near the beginning and living through it so you end up at the very end. If this is the case then that is the only way to get those baubles.

I just read his guide. All of the ones he mentioned were on my list I made as I did it. People are likely missing one somewhere by mistake.

It’s likely you already got it and missed one of the other two. This was fixed in yesterday’s patch.

You only say it was easy because of your Infinite continue coin. Without it, you would be dying so often that you would have quit long ago
It’s infinite continue coins, not infinite health.
You know what’d be really interesting/facepalm-worthy? If, at the end of the month, someone makes a post saying that they bought the ICC, couldn’t complete TM, and want a refund…
Yeah I would definitely /facepalm if someone did that. Even with all of the continue coins, whether from the infinite or just farming them, you still need the skill to get through it.

Even if it were infinite health that would actually make it less useful because Tribulation Mode kills you, period. Your hearts need not apply.
I did world one in roughly 100 deaths per zone. That’s 20 continue coins. That’s not that big a deal to acquire.
Yep, pretty much. That’s why his argument didn’t make much sense to me.
I believe there’s only 3:
- Immediately after the raft section
- The “secret” cabin
- The cabin across the frogger section near the last checkpoint

Keep a tally of your bauble count before you enter and then track it throughout with each one you get. Or make a checklist from the guides.
You also can look over the ledge and see where you can hop down. Then hug the ledge before scaling the small column that has the mushroom.

i have this problem for world 1, 26/27 there
ran it multiple times now
First shop in zone one after the first checkpoint.
@TFMurphy: Try Zone 3 and drop down on top of the yeti boss from the rainbow that leads up above him. Also try the shop where you bought the torch. I can’t remember if that counted or not.

People need to look up what pay to win actually means. Pay to Win is where you buy gear that is ONLY available by purchase with cash and gives the player an advantage over others. For example, if ascended gear were only available for purchase with cash, that would be PTW. Cosmetic skins would not be. I would also consider purchasable Gem Store items that speed up the timers for ascended crafting.
Infinite continue coin is not a PTW item. For one, you get ZERO advantage over other players from playing SAB. Two, you can easily farm 7 bauble bubbles in 15-20 min from world 1 and convert to coming us tokens netting you 35 continue coins which give 6 useable lives (counting when you have 00). That’s 210 lives which is more than enough. The majority of players also rely on guides, which now there are plenty of, taking away the actual trial and error.

Continue coins are incredibly easy to get. There’s no difference between having an infinite coin and farming the regular ones. Quit making it out to be that there is one.
Is this on World 1 or 2?
If its world one then you’re either missing the one that has that difficult jump to the sloped trunk or one of the ones on the crumbling leaves.

Elite is in zone 3 and you need to use the whiste/flute

Whistle, 750 bauble bag, elite skill
Each zone in a world that you complete will reward you with a specific token from that zone. Collect all 3 zone tokens from a world, along with the skin template or whatever from Moto (in Rata Sum), and combine them in the MF.
You don’t need the infinite coin. One bauble bubble is 5 continues with each giving you 5 lives. That’s basically 25 lives per bauble bubble. Doing one run through world 1 on normal will give you a ton of lives.

You likely missed the one right before a checkpoint.

You missed one then. Did you go to the one for the elite skill?

Today’s patch fixed several of these.
Everyone should try world 2 again. They fixed the bug.
Try the other zones but I don’t think you’d have access to 3 if you didn’t wait for their timers.
Have to stay until the timer ends.
I’ve tried running into the last shop repeatedly ~30-40 times, no luck.
Worth a shot. Thanks for checking.
So it seems that they did not make the trigger area large enough for the last two.
The second boss always had a long timer.
There are three. Either the last one doesn’t count or a hidden room in one of the first two zones does when it’s technically not a shop.
Also, has anyone tried going in and out of that last shop repeatedly to see if it glitches the possible glitch and gives you credit?
So I picked up the coin for 36 gold, and I feel it was worth it. I didn’t feel like waiting as long as I would have had to by actually farming coins, thanks to the once per account nonsense.
For me the hardest part was the chasm. Second to Third gate path. Mostly it was just having difficulty making the jumps fast enough to stay ahead of the rocks. The last two areas were surprisingly easy, actually. I was almost, but only almost, sorry there weren’t any special surprises in the final boss fight.
There’s a method to it that makes you more consistent.

Is there an invisible platform over the lava beneath the spikes in W1Z3? Maybe that’s why they’re upside down.
The new elite skill lets you temporarily go into ghost form and let’s you pass through the wall.
Just Kidding!!!
It was a hidden room, not a shop. Perhaps we should try to get to every hidden room and see if those count?
