Which area early in TM are you referring to?

Did anyone try blind whipping through that gatekeeper and walls just hoping they’d snag a bauble that may or may not be in range or existance on the other side?
I did last night since I had to do that for the bauble in the spike room in TM. Unfortunately it didn’t connect with anything.

They’re prioritizing what they respond to. They receive hundreds of bug complaints and there’s so few of them to respond. Dev’s can’t respond to every thread either to workload or company protocols. Until this becomes a more pressing, highly visible issue for the community, I do not see us getting a response.
Underwater weapons.
He drops a chest on normal that has a bauble bubble. You do not need this for the achievement. You likely missed something.
I don’t know. I guess I’ll go that way since the other is annoying.
Oh I remember that. I heard players weren’t meant to go that way like they weren’t meant to jump around onto the corner of that cloud just after the checkpoint by the elite skill (which got patched). I heard it from someone on the forums so it’s not like there’s much credibility in it.
That final bridge to the checkpoint right by the Yeti. You have the stone faces blowing wind at you.
I’ve done all of Tribulation mode, including all shops and all Honey/Stumps, without dodge jumping. Some places would be made easier by dodge jumping – for example, the jump to get to shortcut eagle – but none are impossible.
As a note, its a stated rule of the designers that dodge jumping is never 100% required.
How’d you do the last part of W2Z3 where you have to get up top and jump along the wall to get across? As far as I know there’s only one way up there and it requires a dodge jump to get to one of the platforms.
Not needed for anything.
I’ve do it in about 15-20 min on normal. If you think that is long then wait until you get to 2-3.
When we say learn, we mean go to where you learn it in game. Your character has to learn it first before they can use it.
Infinite Continue Coin != pay to win

:)
I said no because it gives you no advantage over other players. Continue coins are easy to get by just running through world 1. Between the bauble bubbles, baubles, and continue coins from the chests, you should have close to 230 lives. That’s more than enough to do a zone in TM. You have 30 days to do this which means you have about 6,900 lives. With video guides, surely anyone can do this now.
An example of a P2W item would be if ascended items were only available from the gem store. The infinite continue coin offers no benefit to the player. TM only offers tokens for skins (and more baubles).
Have you learned the song?

Nope. We’re referring to the other door in the chest room before you drop down to the slope.
There’s infantile mode for those that find SAB too difficult for some reason. Making it easier is the wrong direction to go. If people had played the old console games before then they would realize that SAB is much easier and shorter.
Gauntlet didn’t so I don’t see why this should. You don’t have to complete every one to get the item and title.
SAB Skins. Weekend players need not apply?
in Super Adventure Box: Back to School
Posted by: Ayrilana.1396
Well how about the weekend only players pick up a mining pick and axe and then go get some crafting components. Sell those on the TP and buy the skins with your profits.
That is strange. Nothing else should be killing you instantly. The only thing is if you’re lagging and being attacked but you could tell if you were lagging.
Next SAB installment.
The length is perfect.
No. Only one spot at the end of W2Z3 requires a dodge jump to get up to the yellow bauble. You can’t die from missing it.
Traps. I doubt you’re playing TM so likely just the dart traps.

I sent a support ticket and got the typical cut & paste “We’re aware of the issue and are looking into it” response. It’ll get addressed when more people get to this point where they’re attempting the achievement. I say just take a break from SAB and do something else in the meantime until people catch up.

She usually relies on the community to send her everything so she can then run through it herself to make her guides. This was more noticeable with this SAB release. Her guides have been about a day behind guides that are posted on here.

You have to jump from the pad right into it. I think I did a short jump instead of the regular one.

You actually need dodge-jump in W2-Z2 at the first petal, you cant make it by normal jumping
Yes you can. If you couldn’t then TM would be impossible.

I need to do it one last time on TM so I’ll look to see if there is a way from the very end. I know that it’s definitely possible from before the teleporters.

There are clouds (not the infantile ones) that you can jump into to get on roofs.
There’s a difference from doing something 12+ times and from doing something 2-3 times. Repeating something 2-3 times is not a grind.
I’ll also point out, which has been mentioned numerous times, you can get enough baubles by just playing the game. Going for all of the achievements will net you more than enough baubles.
If you’re so against grinding, and by your definition, leveling more than one character is a grind since you’ve done it already. Killing any champion more than once is a grind. Doing any dungeon path more than once is a grind. Fractals is a grind if you do the same fractal again. Guild missions are a grind once you’ve already done them. Equipping another character with exotics is a grind but then it was already a grind since its your second character. Visiting the same area of a map again is a grind.
The point in the above paragraph was to point out that frequency is key. Just because you repeat something, does not mean its a grind. This is determined by how many times you have to repeat something. It’s been stated that you can get plenty of baubles by playing normally (not rushing) through world 1 and 2. Doing the achievements for baubles and such will give you even more baubles.
If getting 400 baubles is too much of a “grind” then perhaps SAB isn’t for you. That’s unfortunate since its a lot of fun!

You don’t need dodge jump anywhere in SAB to complete all of the achievements with the only exception being the yellow bauble at the end of W2Z3. There’s also a blue bauble near the beginning but you can get it with the whip.
Doing something two or three times does not mean it’s a grind. If you go for achievements, you’ll have more that enough baubles. Dug spots are posted online and can be done as you do the level normally. If you rush through the zones or play on infantile then of course you’ll get less baubles since enemies usually drop food on infantile.
Your logic is wrong since the torch is required whether there is a “grind” or not. Having a grind for something does not mean its required. Likewise, not having to grind for something doesn’t mean it’s not required. You’re trying to show a relationship between two things that are unrelated.
Except your logic is wrong. You may feel that you have to grind but you don’t. I NEVER said you didn’t need the torch. I was just saying your logic was wrong. Getting 400 baubles is incredibly easy.
No you don’t have to grind. It’s your choice to keep running w1z1 trib.
cool, so I don’t need the torch either? thanks so much for your absolutely useless comment =)
No less than your comment.
Him telling you that you don’t have to grind does in no way equate to him telling you that you don’t need the torch.

Thanks for pointing out the dig spots but this is for the bauble achievement.
You don’t need the wallet. As long as you enter SAB with all of your baubles, you can use them all. For example, if I were to enter SAB with 5 stacks of baubles, it would show a max of 999 on the UI but I can continue to make purchases. The only thing is that I cannot gain baubles above the bag capacity.
You only need the torch (400 baubles) for the ice walls and bomb (225 baubles?) for the ice pillars. You absolutely can get by without everything else. Candle and the glove are irrelevant as you get those for free.
I blasted through it in about 15 min on normal without the shortcut. It’s all about knowing what to do. Expect them to get longer as that’s how most games are.

I duno, that is a fairly well done Photoshop. But I don’t look at them too often, so not sure what to look for other than extreme jaggies or mismatched alignments/tones.
If you look at the tips of the “M” in Master, you’ll see he cut part of it off.
Well I always run the second he disappears and I usually have enough distance from him. If I recall, he always goes in a straight line so cut corners but not when you’re right next to him as he does auto-correct his path to you.

TM Mode doesn’t work either. Now that was a PITA to do.
Just circle around the arena.
Only took one key for me.
Only ledges I want fixed are the ones that require you to jump up at an angle to reach. I believe only like 2 of them exist in SAB. It’s the same kind of jump that’s required to get onto that platform at Fire Elemental.
They already fixed the Tree-top checkpoint in W2-2, pre-patch that jump took me so many tries to stick—but now its really easy.
I wasn’t referring to that. The jump didn’t bother me. I was referring to in W2Z3 when coming up the ledges from the banana area back to where the chest is, there’s the final ledge that requires you to jump at a certain angle or certain way to get on top of. I think there was another one of these ledges after the checkpoint near the elite skill.
Well you’ll have to choose or start doing world 2. Assuming it takes 200 deaths to complete a zone, this should have minimal impact on getting skins. With videos likely out now for every zone, the death count should be much lower than what those of us had when we did them before their availability.
It’s easy to do it off continue coins. You can farm world 1 daily for 7 bauble bubbles. Each bauble bubble gives you 5 continue coins. Each continue coin gives you 6 useable lives. I’m sure you can do the math.
The infinite continue coin is just for the convenience of not doing world 1 each day to get bauble bubbles for coins or to farm baubles.
