No.
With very obstacle in every dungeon, there’s trial and error. However, this trial and error is nothing like in SAB TM. You can spend your first attempt looking at the patterns and figuring out what to do and how not to get electrified. There are also plenty of videos you can use as well to save time.
By discovery with the exception of a couple specific ones. Some recipe become available after you reach a level threshold but I never paid attention.

Already in the works. You’ll be able to hold up to 500. Whether you’ll have to pay for this upgrade or not is anyone’s guess.
You can further reduce the gold spent on mats by farming them.
That sounds like “You can further reduce the gold spent on mats by getting more gold”.
Almost but not quite.
I’d say it should be 15-20ish.
Don’t look at your WvW achievements. You haven’t seen ridiculous until you’ve seen how many yaks you have to kill to complete the achievement and calculated how long it would take.
The game centers around PvE so that will be the quickest way to get gear.
No point in making mithril weapons if you’re at level 400+. Just refine tier 6 materials and make exotic weapon components for 400-425. Then craft 7-8 weapons to get to 450. Refine tier 7 components from 450-475 (I stopped at around 465ish). And then craft weapons until you hit the cap. When I say craft weapons, I’m referring to discovering them.
You can further reduce the gold spent on mats by farming them. You can normally get around 40 ori ore and ancient log per toon. I did this to max out everything. As the price drops it may eventually be more beneficial to farm by other means.

There’s a difference between an infused item that has the agony resistance as part of the stats compared to having the infusion slot filled.
Mystic mistook what you said and was referring to the infusion you put into the infusion slot instead of the skin.

When you put any equipment into the MF to upgrade it, you get a completely new piece of equipment. You lose your skin as transmutations do not follow as far as I’m aware.
It’s not bad design when it can be done by everyone without the use of portals and invulnerability skills. Just learn the patterns and yo can do it without getting hit by the electricity. It’s an achievement that takes a little thought and critical thinking which is why so many people struggle.
It is badly designed if it encourages players to get it by not playing. Of course it can be achieved through clever hopping and manual dexterity, but it is a lot easier to achieve by sitting it out. That is a definite design flaw.
Whaaaaaaat? Since when being a kitten is the fault of someone else? I am so tired of the gaming community…
Since similar achievements are known to be bugged (whether or not they’re awarded is pretty inconsistent, even when you think you know exactly what to do), yes, I think part of the blame IS upon the game. (See also: “The Floor Is Lava. Don’t Step In It”, “Fancy Footwork”)
It’s quite often that people claim something to be bugged when they have no idea how to do the achievement or are not paying attention. Recently (last month)I saw someone claiming on map chat that the champion slayer daily was bugged. If they had read the achievement they would see it was for veterans.
I did the shaman fractal on level 1 and did not stop the entire time. I got the achievement. Others have gotten it as well. I suggest recording your attempt on video and reviewing it. It takes only one tick of damage to fail the achievement.
I have yet to see people fail the fancy footwork due to a bug. They just don’t know how to do it. Every person that I have encountered have gotten this one after I explained it. You DO NOT get this if you trigger a trap (obviously. I tell them they must not trigger a trap the entire time they’re in that fractal. You also DO NOT get it if you just sit there waiting for people to run the orbs. You must run the orbs to get it. This is why a lot of people think it’s bugged since they didn’t think they had to run the orbs. At least this is the case for those I helped.

An achievement is not badly designed if lazy and/or unskilled players are unwilling to make the effort to do it. I don’t get why players feel entitled to get freebie achievements. It seems they just want the ones like where you only have to talk to Caithe.
If players choose to sit on the first platform and not do anything, it’s the players fault and not Anet’s. These achievements are also permanent unlike the ones from previous living story dungeons.
Another thing to watch out for:
In the case of the fire shaman elemental, you also take fire damage if you stop moving and prevents obtaining that achievement (I believe). This might also be the case in the TA fight if you are killing slick first; and if so, keep moving the entire time as you are killing Sparki.
The pet thing might be true, but I am not so sure. As a mesmer, I obtained both the fractal and TA achievements. It could easily have been luck both times.
You get the achievement before that fight.

I’m still confused about what the big deal is. It’s no different than the other convenience items such as the craft station, bank, merchant, and trading post consumables. If you don’t like it then just don’t buy it.
So is it possible for one person to solo the Above and Beyond achievement? I saw someone mentioned that it wasn’t because of the lionguard.
I don’t understand why they would do this to us. The hardcore player in me NEEDS this armor because, well, stats. The casual player in me says wtf, looks ugly as hell, no way am I gonna get that.
I saw the stats and they’re very underwhelming compared to what trinkets gave. Unless they change the stats, I see no reason to rush to get them.
It will likely be available for the entire month like all of the previous living story updates.
Except you forgot the part where you’re not buying AP, they come as a bonus on a purchase with badges. You still get the item you’re spending badges on as well, so what’s the big deal?
You’re seeing what you get when you cross a completionist with a hoarder.
60 fragments?!
For that much, I’ll gladly learn the mechanics of this dungeon.
I can get 60 fragments in 5 minutes that doesn’t involve torturing myself.
Uh huh…
It’s a convenience item. Most of these types normally don’t provide any value to you other than convenience. It’s no different than the infinite mining picks and such that nobody seems to have issues with yet also do not provide you any value other than convenience.
If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.
These are 70 gems for one time use, there’s a big difference between these and infinite harvesting tools which you make 1 purchase and never run out.
Ok. Look at all the other consumables that are one time use.
Blah, I cant get passed of the first ooze room So. another skip from me to this. See you on 18th
Giving up day 1? C’mon man, keep at it!
Happens with every update it seems. There’s always a small percentage of players that give up when something isn’t a complete faceroll.

For 60 fragments, I can see myself doing this daily.
AFAIK, your character does not move position on your screen. The same spot he’s standing on your screen is the same spot on the screen he’ll be standing after you make a jump.
A lot of people who know this have zero issues making jumps when it’s crowded.
I rarely see people run TA low level and the rewards weren’t really for low levels anyway. I don’t really see what the issue is.
It’s because people are selfish and feel entitled. They feel like you must play like them otherwise GTFO. I see the same thing with champ farms where a small group expects people to follow them or else. Players are unable to play the game like they were able to many months ago.
I almost wonder if sabotaging an event like that is actually reportable.
Not sure where you got October 3rd when all releases have been on a Tuesday.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/october-01-2013/
They won’t for event tokens. I’d save them on a spare character.

A friend just got it this morning.
Sorry fellas I’ve only just started world 3 is world 4 not available at this time?
World 3 isn’t available yet other than that very small room.
You don’t need dodge jumps anywhere in SAB except for the bauble achievement for W2Z3 when you get the yellow bauble at the very end.
You’ll likely have to have beaten World 1 and 2 in TM before you can do World 3 in TM.
You only need the torch (you’ll be able to purchase it before you need it for 400 baubles). She mentioned the flute (and songs) for in case you were going for the tough customer achievement at the same time.

Do the bauble achievement on normal and then no backtracking for keys. Dodge jump only required for last yellow bauble at end of W2Z3. Dodge jump not required in TM.

Tribulation is supposed to be tedious.
Well, don’t know about that. Challenging, yes. Tedious, hrm. Don’t get me wrong, W2 tribulation had some very clever spike and tribulation/no cloud placement, but the length of it is discouraging. It is especially discouraging when you consider that things like lag and disconnects can ruin the experience for so many players.
Either make W3 shorter, or have save points in case of disconnects.
It was specifically stated by the dev that it was supposed to be. He also expected a very small percentage of the population to actually be able to finish it.
The words from the release page were “ridiculously challenging”, which is not the same thing as tedious. “Tedious” means “too long, slow, or dull”. Feel free to look it up.
“Challenging” allows room for enjoyment. Once someone describes content as “tedious”, it means they’re not having fun.
No part of any game is ever intentionally tedious, and if it is, the devs don’t know what they’re doing.
And where did I say I was referencing release page? The release page is not the end-all-be-all for information.
I’ll also add that going through the process of discovering the traps and dying over and over trying to find a way past them is tedious. Some of us didn’t rely on a video to show us the way through.

It was fixed almost two weeks ago.
You can do it in 30 minutes on normal. This includes finding all baubles. Doing it on infantile makes it take longer.
Why is it easier? :o
No backtracking.
Take the castle using the BUG TC
If we fight them next week then just do the same over and over and over. Until it becomes a big problem, it won’t be fixed. If I recall, this weekend is another weekend for players to play for free. Do it on a new account.
Or how about no one use it, and you just send in a ticket?
Well I was wrong in my previous post. The better way would be to create an account on TC during the free weekend and record the players doing it. Much more preferable than to break WvW anymore than it already is.

Something above 30 kills now … stopped counting it. I’m killing him multiple times per (day as I have 8xLVL80) in the first week with TKS and on my mainserver but it ’s getting more and more down to 1-3 kills per day now.
So far no Mini, no Ascended. Getting all greens and blue is like a slap in the face, I do really agree with that thought. But oh well, I just wasted ~250g last week trying to get a Precursor. Guess what? Not a single one.
I see like 2-3 Ascended and/or Minis per Kill.
This is why I stopped caring about killing him after I got the achievements. It’s just not worth the time spent.
For the frog boss, when he looks at one direction, go to the furthest large pad away from that. You can the just double roll to avoid the stomp. It only takes 3 cycles to kill him so you technically could just eat the damage from the stomp.
I spent maybe 4 hours per zone doing the bauble achievements. I made a checklist of each one as I went. A guide is hardly a requirement.
Better to just sell the T6 materials rather than craft them into T7 ingots and planks.
Unfortunately 95% of the player base is unable to do content without a guide. Telling them to not rely so much on guides won’t work. They need these guides or they’ll be unable to play the game.
Guides need to be written better with the assumption that people don’t know what they’re doing and that people will be following them step by step exactly as it is written.

Where are people getting the idea that if there are not many people defending the turrets, the champions won’t spawn? It’s completely false. The last three times I tried it failed because of this rumor. The last time I just left before the fight even started because I knew it was going to be a waste of time.
It’s not about whether they spawn or not but how much more difficult they are to kill when they’re scaled up.
All titles are permanent.
Tribulation mode is pseudo hard mode
in Super Adventure Box: Back to School
Posted by: Ayrilana.1396
I can’t remember the game exactly, but I swear there was one that had a great way how they handled difficulty. On normal mode, you could progress relatively easy and there were a few puzzles/obstacles. On hard mode, there were a ton of puzzles/obstacles.
