ele is fine, high damage = low survability.
nerf thief’s evade.
nerf warriors.
nerf ai build,spirit ranger,mm.
nerf condispam.
lower some stupid long cooldown like arcane shield, mist form and armor of earth.puff, ele in meta.
Yes.
Exactly.
Ele is actually fine because if you go damage you lose survivability. The problem is EVERY other class is brokenly OP. They power creeped this game into failure. The only way ele is going to be viable compared to thief is if ele is JUST AS BROKEN in which case it will just destroy everyone.
They have to start nerfing hard and fast. We said that for ages. We told them power creep ruined the game. Top players who quit told them this (like helseth and many many many others). They didn’t listen and instead just give us more and more power creep. It is insane at this point. Everything needs to be dialed back significantly. They should do a couple of patches where all they do is nerf stuff. Not buff anything. And then go from there.
This is the result when the developers are completely out of touch with their own game mechanics. I feel the upcoming balance patch will not change this pattern. What we will probably end up with is the meta being the exact same as the current one.

That is a common graphical bug with Radeon 7xxx series cards. 280x is only a 7970 repackaged. Its unknown what causes it exactly, if its driver related or if its the game engine itself. But its not hardware related. Here are some points to note for those who do not know about the problem:
- Alt tabbing and tabbing back in fixes the problem
- Despite the screenshot, the bug isn’t covering the entire screen. If you change your camera angle the bug appears to go away. If you face the area were the bug appeared, it will show up again. From what I observe it has something to do with a object that failed to render correctly.
- This bug only appears in GW2, users who have the bug report that their other games run fine.
- Its not a overclock/underclocking issue, nor is it a broken card.
- No one knows how to replicate the problem. It seems to be random. Sometimes I do not see the problem for days, sometimes I see it happen multiple times per day.

This would give me a LOT of ranks. However, I do not want it to happen. Things change, get used to it. If they would reward ranks why wouldn’t they reward dungeon gold retroactively? Or anything else.
Because, a lot of players exploited skyhammer to rank up. They didn’t get banned or punished for doing this. Then there were those who played spvp legitly to rank up, they didn’t get a single thing for playing the right way. So from one perspective they all should of exploited skyhammer like the rest of them, so they could rank up.
The situation is more about how pvp is viewed in general by anet. If there was a exploit in pve that allowed players to gain something faster than normal, these players would be banned. In pvp? It doesn’t seem to matter much. Actually they benefited more, not only did they achieve higher ranks than a legit player might. But when the wintersday patch rolled around, they were making tons of gold converting their glory into wintersday boxes to sell.
Windows 10
Thanks for pointing out this bug! I wonder if Anet will bother to change it.
Windows 10
Okay, to be honest, I will point one thing. It does take skill to land a hit with the Skyhammer cannon. It has a noticeably long telegraphed charge and it covers a big area. Sure you can’t block it or dodge, but you can easily run out of the area, therefore making it harder for the guy on the cannon to land a hit with it.
My opinion is that skyhammer is one of the least skillful weapons in the game. You can see how easy it is to use when you compare it to the treb from Battle of Khylo. Here is a comparison, if I miss something feel free to add it:
Khylo Treb:
1. Requires manual positioning
2. Requires knowledge how much to charge in order to hit target destination
3. Treb can be destroyed
4. Treb projectile can be dodged
Skyhammer:
1. Requires no manual positioning
2. Requires no knowledge how in order to land a hit, its just point and click destination to fire.
3. Skyhammer can not be destroyed
4. Skyhammer laser can not be dodged
To me there is a very huge difference between the skill level between the two. Looking at skyhammer makes me wonder exactly how Anet thought the weapon was balanced. In comparison to the Treb, its very OP and skilless. I feel something about it needs to give: Either by making it possible to disable the skyhammer or getting rid of the damage from the weapon or the CC.
Overall I’m in agreement with others, the map should be removed from soloq.

I’d say warrior is on par with guardian.
Windows 10
I wrote a post months and months ago how PW and Evade are OP. But most thief players rejected what I said and associated my observation with a l2p issue.
The problem with PW has always been the same. Its evade. Evade has no counter, there are no skills that can bypass the evade mechanic.
We have unblockable skills for blocks, weakness for dodge spamming but absolutely nothing for evades. For a skill like blurred frenzy, its not as bad since it has a static cooldown. With thief, since their play style is unorthodoxed compared to the other classes it creates a huge issue that is difficult to resolve.
Anet wants thief to be unique, were it exists outside of many of the game play rules. The class has lots of uncounterable mechanics: There is only one anti stealth mechanic (sic em), no counter to evade, chill does not affect initiative and interrupting weapon skills doesn’t put them on cooldown.
Some people like to compare initiative to weapon cooldowns, but its not the same. Other classes do have a way to lower their weapon cds, but its very specific and static, they have no way to actively lower cds like thief does.
I don’t feel like there is any real solution to pistol whip, since any change will likely affect the class entirely. Most of the issues that players have a problem with is related to the foundational mechanics of the game rather than the thief class itself.
From a more objective perspective, the current state of PW thief isn’t much different than hambow warrior, decap engi and necromancer. All of those classes (builds) have a lighting fast offensive rotation with little to no room in breaking their defenses down. By the time anyone has done enough to get through their defense, their offensive rotation starts again which allows them to recover their health and inevitably beat their target.
I don’t feel Anet should pick and choose which of these type of builds should be nerfed, but if they are going to do one then they should do them all. Their needs to be more penalties for failing. Instead of no penalty which causes the player to just use the skill again until it finally makes contact with the target.
Windows 10
Ele has plenty of tools to down a thief, like idk chill, immobolize, and any number of blocks.
Ele’s have 1 immobilize on 1 of their weapons (Staff #4 earth), which has a crazy slow telegraph, 30 second cooldown and will never hit anyone who is moving around.
“Any number of blocks” – block 3 attacks on a 75sec cooldown with Arcane Shield. At which point the thief simply stealths and comes back a few seconds later to blow up the Ele.
Chill – Frozen Ground and Frost Aura, both of which have 40 sec cooldowns and don’t stop the thief from simply stealthing away and coming back a few seconds later to blow up the Ele.Everything an Ele can do only delays their death by a few extra seconds. There is no way to reliably hit a thief with ANY of Ele’s ridiculously telegraphed/slow-casting abilities since they are spamming evades & stealthing.
It really makes me chuckle to see after a year ppl whining over hs spam. Yesterday a thief spammed toward me, know what I did? Interrupted him in mid air and spiked him as he dropped problem solved
not hard zerglings just stratigize.
Well done. Doesn’t change the fact that HS spam is still extremely high reward with zero setup and spammable.
Hey Wintel,
I feel you gave a good illustration with not only what is wrong with ele but the game mechanics in general. I do not want to make things over complicated but I’ll just try to keep it simple:
1. There are no casting bars because anet wants everyone to observe the animations of skills.
2. By observing animations of skills you are suppose to consciously make the choice to dodge or use defensive skills to mitigate the incoming damage.
It sounds like a neat idea on paper, but the problem is the skills with animations are the weakest in the game. Why? Everyone just dodges them, in general you won’t have much of a chance to hit them with these attacks. A pattern I noticed is the builds that are considered op amongst players are the builds which have attacks that have near instant animations or very non discernable animations. These attacks are hard to avoid, mitigate and generally have a very fast cycle time between their uptime and cooldown time.
In a nut shell the biggest issue with the combat system is that Anet picks and chooses which skills follow the rules. Instant and hard to read skills shouldn’t be very powerful, highly telegraph skills should be very powerful. If it followed this pattern it would be similar to fighting game mechanics:
In street fighter, weak punch is a low damage, low risk, low reward move. But fierce punch is a high damage and high risk move due to the long animation. Unfortunately, I do not feel Anet will ever balance the performance difference between what I’ve mentioned.
Windows 10
Awesome post Bill!
Looking forward to the changes. Here is a question about client side/frame rate. Will the game engine ever reach a point where it performs adequately under situations with spam and zergs?
This is one of the biggest focal points of gw2 (large player events) but its also one of the weakest aspects of the game in terms of performance.
Another question is: When you make performance changes for the game engine, is it with the average hardware in mind (low end cpu, low-mid range gpu) or the highest tiers of hardware?
And my last one: In regards to amd cpus (specifically the fx series), does you and your team have difficulty getting it to run as well as intel cpus? In the future will we see the game engine move towards being more multi-threaded?
I also wanted to add, that the changes you pushed out several weeks ago have been extremely positive on my end. In many areas I have seen around a 15-20fps improvement. Though, areas with lots of zerging going on still suffers and coe story mode dungeon still runs poorly (I only get 23fps at the entrance and through out most of the dungeon).
Thanks again and keep up the good work
Windows 10
We seriously considered many different options, and doing nothing seemed the most fair.
I’d strongly encourage ANET to change this line of thought because it’s been used way too much and the current state of PVP is reflecting it.
This is exactly right.
Windows 10
So we get a balance patch every 6 months that doesn’t really balance anything. But mainly consists of tooltip fixes and buffing skills that no one will ever use anyway. There are better things to do with ones time than to anticipate stuff like this.
Windows 10
Decap engi has been around for a long time, but there were few players running it. Yes its almost impossible to kill 1v1, no anet won’t be fixing it anytime soon (if ever). One thing I learned over the course of gw2 life is that this game revolves around cheesy builds.
Decap engi is no different from hambow warrior, ele before the nerf, necro, burst thieves. All of them are the exact same. Anet encourages: spam and A.I. Spam only exists because risk vs reward is absent in gw2. The result is to use your skills every time they are off cd regardless if the situation calls for it.
Observing the pattern of gw2 meta so far, decap engi is to be expected. And after its nerfed a new form of cheesy builds will be discovered.
Windows 10
Yes virtues are signets but they are signets that affect the group. I feel the passive effects should be shared more with allies, vor can already do that with battle presence. It would be neat if voj and voj had options to do something similar.
I agree voj is a bit lacking but it has some synergy pure of heart if you trait for it.
Windows 10
It’s a L2P issue.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magnet
^if this is what we’re talking about. For the whole duration of the channel there’s a semi-transparent grayish sway/line between you and engineer. Once you see it, count one second and dodge – no ‘spam random dodges’ involved’.
If you get hit you can still stunbreak before you reach that engineer and avoid getting hit.
I would be concern about more intelligent players that bait out your dodge with tool kit stow just to do it 5 seconds later.
Invisibility is bad for any competitive game.
Windows 10
Uh, you do realize that they also gain the benefit of Healing Power from their actual heal skill, as well as from many other sources (Regen, dodging, Staff, Mace…)?
It’s perfectly fine as it is.
Yea I was going to write this as well. But its not the same as a passive regen that has no prerequisite. Healing signet for example doesn’t have any requirement other than to equip it.
Guardian does have a lot of sources of healing but mostly all of them are situation.
Windows 10
Hey guys, just wanted to pop in here and state that come the release of the feature build players will no longer be able to carry the orb while in a transform. For those unfamiliar with what a transform is in PvP, it is a skill that changes your skill bar. I.E Rampage, Elixir U, Tornado, etc. We’ve also trimmed off some hard edges on the map to make travel more smooth and functional.
Thanks and I hope this makes the map more enjoyable for those whom have issues with it.
Just give the orb its own set of skills.
Windows 10
And they were already trying to do soemthing for a condi build. One of these changes, which albeit fell short, is via Kindled Zeal.
I can’t honestly imagine what they were thinking when they gave guardians that trait.
Windows 10
Sounds about right…I would +1, but I will wait till after this supposed “big changes” patch coming up….if nothing substantial comes from it….I am in the same boat.
Big changes= tool tip changes, nerfing hs by 8% (oh my!) and changing traits players will never use anyway.
Then Anet will tell us wait to next balance patch for them to shake up the meta. When is the next balance patch? Probably four months+ after the upcoming on. Simply put, always expect the worst so you don’t end up disappointed.
I have absolutely no faith that gw2 will ever begin to fix the fundamental flaws of the game. I’ve come to accept it as it is.
Windows 10
I agree to most of the comments here, but if the passive on VoR is there just to offer something extra, then why does battle presence exist, and if you invest loads into healing power, why doesn’t it actually become a good heal that guardians can use or rely on?
Have you seen regen warriors? The healing power scales really well with HS to the point where breaking a regen warrior is not possible without either loads of conditions or multiple people.
Healing signet doesn’t scale well with healing power, its just that HS base healing is so high.
Windows 10
For PvE refer to this https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Guide-DPS-Guardian-for-PVE.
It’s actually a myth that high toughness means you will always get aggro. Quite often the person with the highest DPS gets it or it can switch at random several times during a single fight.
Windows 10
I believe the Guardian’s sprit’s weapons need a redo. They shouldn’t be used as utility skills instead use them as pets like the ranger has. Give us sprit pets and weapons would be nice. They could have a f4 button that we could switch to.
Also we could use utility skills that uses chill conditions.
I know this idea sounds stupid, but at least it gives us sprits in a better way.
A lot of people are against buffing AI pets. I can’t say that I blame them, but at this point in the game its highly unlikely Anet would revamp spirit weapons.
If I had the ability to change them, I’d change it so they are no longer pets but skills that modify existing weapons.
Spirit hammer amplifies the hammer weapon, giving it access to attributes it doesn’t have normally. Like wise sword and shield do the same thing. I believe some ritualist skills worked in a similar manner.
Windows 10
Do me a favor and hire the guy who made these fake patch notes, at least for guardians, he knows what he is doing.
No he doesn’t. These notes include buffs to spirit weapons. That is the last thing this game needs. And if you think it does then congrats you think like anet.
Yes lets keep skills useless then. How wise is it to give a class skills that aren’t practical. Are they there for decoration then?
What is done is done, Anet already messed up with having too much AI in game. They could at the very least make sure the AI minions are good. No one uses spirit weapons in pvp, wvw or pve because they are hot garbage. Fixing them so they aren’t garbage isn’t a bad thing.
Windows 10
Stacked with 1400+ healing power zealous blade gives around 54-57 hp per attack. The sustain is ok if you have healing power and aoeing, its sort of like a mini AH. At the same time the trait is impractical and adverse to the zeal line stats. The trait feels like it belongs in the honor tree now.
When Anet first buffed zealous blade I decided to give it a try. I can’t say that I’d recommend anyone to stack healing power just to use zealous blade.
I like your proposed changes arken, it reminds me of the mace auto attack and some what like assassin’s reward.
Windows 10
Have you tried disabling Catalyst A.I. in the AMD Vision Control Center?
Yes I have, the problem still occurs.
One thing I also noticed is the bug appears on the point of a object. It looks a lot like a vanishing point in art. I’ve seen it appear on characters faces, arms and sometimes the tip of their weapons. Its definitely not a video card issue, because the whole screen isn’t affected. Like I said when you turn around, the issue is gone. If you turn back and face the direction it occurred, then it reappears.
The only way to fix it is to alt tab and make the game full screen again.
Windows 10
Also I want to add. This can’t be a issue with the card itself. Another reason is this: When the problem happens, if you turn in a different direction its no longer there. And if you face the direction were the problem occurred then it returns. It seems like its a rendering issue, but I can’t tell if its the fault of the drivers or the engine itself.
Windows 10
Really dont get the hate for torch #5 in this thread. Cone aoe damage, cond removal on allies and now cond removal on us. I cant see why it SHOULD do any more damage at that point considering you can clear that many conditions with it an still do decent damage to groups.
People will complain just to complain. Not all skills need to be dps in order to be good. Torch 5 is utility and damage on a weapon. That in itself is a bonus.
Windows 10
Zeal:
Zeal still won’t be appealing to go 30 points into for top DPS builds. The Focus improvement is fairly dramatic and may actually be worthwhile for roamers. I can kind of see Zeal + Honor builds coming into play now for the cripple in zerg WvW but I don’t see it helping much with anyone else. Definitely not sPVP.
Spirit Weapons:
Impervious Hammer plus Sanctuary will be the new king of sPvP bunkers. Bow of Truth still sucks passively. Active is an improvement however it doesn’t heal enough to have it on your bar. Sword is a viable DPS tool in any build with a third wildcard utility slot if you have Impervious in dungeons but I still think no one wil actually take Zeal that far for dungeon builds.Torch:
Cleansing Flame is still bad. The only way I see it being used is to dump your conditions and then cancel out of it to continue doing real DPS. It needs more aggressive damage or a widening of the cleave limit in order to compete even with auto attacking.Honor:
Potentially five or more stacks per second when running Hammer. Uh… Well, people will definitely consider using it again, and it offsets Hammer ruining combo fields with too many Light applications.Shield:
No one cares about 150 Toughness. It should have improved the Shield skills just like the new Focus change. Spherical Protection application from 4, damage and healing on detonating 5. Something like that.Virtues:
No one cares about Retalitory Subconscious. Spirit Weapon trait merge was desperately needed and is a good change.
All in all, it’s a good day for Spirit Weapons, an okay day for Zeal as a whole, and has some tentative possibilities for improving our soft CC issues.
Bow of truth should scale with healing power imo. Maybe the arrows can remove conditions and provide a heal. Other than that you are right, its still bad regardless of the change.
They already do heal and cure when they hit, unless you mean the Command ability which just heals.
Yep I meant the command ability. They should also increase the amount of conditions the normal bow attacks do from 1→2.

Don’t know if this post will stay for long (probably deleted) but wow, these notes are HUGE deal.
Cleansing flame – torch 5, clearing 5 condi from guardian if uninterrupted is a game-changer for any DPS guard in spvp, and roaming guardian in wvw.
New GM zeal cripple on symbols is a great new option, same of focus mastery and in general zeal looks very appealing now.
Glacial heart is now definitely interesting, especially with upcoming dual sigil on 2 handed weapons.
Empowering might CD reduction seems like abit of a overbuff, will make some spammable AH builds, but because at least requires you to HIT someone AND crit, i guess not worse.Selfless daring buff in spvp is nice, will give bunker guards abit more relevance vs other classes that seemed to be able to tank at same efficiency while having other superior advantages.
I am excited, 30 zeal, maces and torches are gonna see some play.
Yea man, cleansing flame change looks dope.
Windows 10
These sound like great changes actually. I really like Writ of Debilitation, Empowering Might and Zeal VIII. I’m sure focus users will definitely be pleased about it.
The spirit weapon changes do sound good, Impervious Spirits is a good way to reward spirit weapon players who invested to make them good. The only problem I have is that spirit weapon traits are still scattered through three trait lines. They need to narrow it down to two lines. They could remove a fire inside to another line or merge it with another trait.
Windows 10
Did Anet revert the changes? The performance now feels worse.
Windows 10
There a few threads going on about this: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Solution-to-AMD-GPU-Woes/first#post3660998
Anet never answers them though, its been over a year. The only way to fix the issue is to alt tab and maximize the game again. Some people are convinced that its a bad card that does this, but it makes no sense because these cards do not have this issue in any other game except gw2.

Decap engi has been very strong for quite some time, perhaps too strong. But what happened to cause people to finally complain about it?

How Do Defend Rally Point Achievements Work?
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Aza.2105
You have to succeed every defend event at a rally camp for an entire evacuation cycle. Evacuation cycles end at 50 minutes past the hour, that is when you would receive credit if you managed to hold the rally camp the entire cycle.
I was just there the entire duration, each defense was successful. I did not get credit.

That’s why I brought up the direct x thing. If I remember correctly guild wars 2 was built around DX 9 and when reading up on the issues it seemed to be specific to DX 9 games. Games like BF3 and BF4 that were built around DX11 don’t have the issue (or at least the issue I had with my 7950).
The issue I had also didn’t ever show up in 3DMark/benchmarks, or Artifact checkers that I ran for hours upon hours at a time.
Possible, but most games on the market are dx9 related and most of the games I play use dx9 and I have no issues in them what so ever.
Windows 10
I have a HD7790, R7-260x, and R9-270 that show none of the issues reported. And each of those cards are pushed to their max Core/Mem clock speeds.
I really think the issue isnt driver, as there would be ALOT more reports on these issues. I still think its hardware related (or maybe even the 12v Rail on some of the PSUs).
I’m using a Antec 750w PSU. So I don’t think that could be the issue, but possible. The problem with all the theories that the card is defective doesn’t go well with the fact that its perfectly fine in every single other games. Games often more gpu intensive than gw2. So what is making gw2 so different?
If its a hardware issue then the problem should show up in all graphical applications in some way, but so far I nor others have noted this happening.
Windows 10
It’s a bad card, RMA it.
Seems that there are QA issues going on at some suppliers. I am seeing more and more reports of this issue for the R9 series card, across the board.
every since report ended in an RMA…that ultimately fixed the issue.
So, its a bad card, get it replaced.
I don’t think so, someone who had the same glitch rma his card and the new one did the exact samething. If this was a faulty card then problems would appear in games other than gw2. But they don’t.
And to top it off, the way you fix the problem is to alt tab and maximize gw2 again. The problem completely vanishes and it may or may not appear for the rest of the day.
cant speak for that guys RMA experience. As with all hardware, you can sometimes get a bad string of serial numbers.
But Alt/tabbing will cause your GPU to re-render the application, clearing Memory and the data in the GPU’s Core. That would be why alt/tabing ‘fixes’ the issue. Still points back to a bad card, IMHO.
Read the link I provided when I edited my post.

I have the issue and it has nothing to do with the card being overclocked or hot. My card is almost new and not oc. The card doesn’t go above 60c in gw2. This problem doesn’t happen in any other game. I’ve ran 3dmark like crazy and haven’t seen a single artifact.
Same for me. My card isn’t OC’d. GW2 is the only game I have these issues.
What version of windows are you using?

your R9 is fine and I would not consider replacing that at this time, unless you want to resell it to a Bitcoin Miner for a profit over what you paid for it.
I was thinking about this, but I don’t know what gpu I would want to replace it with. It would have to be Nvidia though, no way anyone can find a reasonable price for the Radeon R9 290/x series card at this time.
Also, to answer your question: My PC isn’t just for gaming, its also used for illustrating. In fact I got the Amd 8350 for illustrating, gaming was just a secondary function of my pc.
Ok, since you compress data (Illustration) You will want the i7 for the fastest compression rate. If it was mainly for gaming, I would suggest the i5
That R9 is a really good card. The only thing that would come better would be a Nvidia 780 IMHO. But you will pay for that price (you can probably resell the R9, like I mentioned, with only an additional 50 or so out of pocket to replace it…If you wanted to.

But there is no real reason to replace it, unless you were needing a CAD/OpenGL class Workstation Card (Quadro NVS, or FireGL AMD Card).
When you say compression are you referring to saving and loading files?

shadows consume a lot of cpu power, turning off the dynamics shadows (Low or Off settings) boost performance significantly
Every since the eotm patch the shadow settings don’t lower performance as much, which is why I have it set to ultra. Turning shadows off gives around a 6fps increase in the spot I stood by the mystic forge. So not a significant boost.
Not significant? 6/36 = 17%. I think that’s quite something. Doesn’t mean too many fps, at least in a demanding situation, but you know, little drops of water and so on.
From a mathematical perspective it seems like a significant different, but practically its hard to see the difference between 36 fps and 42fps. I can see when its below 30fps or when its running close to 60fps or above. But yes, I get what you are saying.

Actually I am currently at 4.6 GHz, I haven’t updated my sig cos it’s not 100% stable. I have my little Hyper 212 EVO, seems to be worth it’s cost.
Does the 4770k use ddr3 1333?
What do you mean? Yes 1333 MHz RAM goes along with it just fine, so does 1600. Check your motherboard for more compabilities.
Yep thats what I mean, thanks! I wasn’t sure if I had to get new ram or not.

@Aza, sure I will, I wont be home this evening but I’ll do that as soon as I can. It wont be identical because of the player factor but I’ll try to make it as same as possible.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
SS taken. Tell me if there’s anything else you need!
Whoa, that is a HUGE difference!!!!
What cooler are you using to OC? Getting a intel cpu has just moved to the top of my list of choices.

I limited my budget to like 800 and just bought the i7 4770K and Maximus VI Formula. (Tip: I bought them locally because I support my buddy’s business haha. My price on board and CPU were just slightly higher than online) I sorta wish I had still been using my AMD FX-8350 until the EOTM patch so I could have seen what it did. However I will sometime soon-ish hopefully be purchasing some parts to re-use with my FX-8350 (I honestly don’t want to let that $220 dollar purchase just sit and collect dust) and we’ll see how it goes haha. I bet it should be good.
Overall, however I’m very pleased with either processor since I’ve been using my FX-8350 from mid summer until recently. However if the FX-8350 actually is doing better in this game then I can recommend it easily.
P.S. I clocked my i7 4770K to 4.4 Ghz. Just, fantastic.
Yea there is quite a difference in some areas. For example the screenshot I linked, before the eotm patch I got around 25fps. Now its 38fps maxed. The windmill right outside of LA in Gendarran fields, I would get 42fps now its 60fps+. So there is definitely a increase in performance, but not in all areas. Coe story mode instance still runs poorly.
If I decide to get a new cpu, I will use my 8350 to make a steambox for my living room.
