It indicates that these are one time use only, I think that for 500 gems they should become purchasable from your Hall of Monuments vendor.

You can send 10 items to a friend, then you have to wait like 2 minutes to send another 5, then 2 minutes more for another 5 etc… My wife basically does all the crafting, after a day or 2 I dump my mats over to her, it takes WAY too long. This needs to be fixed. If we can’t be trusted to make trades like that, why even let us play your game? If security measures are cutting into our enjoyment of the game, then the botters win.

Considering they upscale you to 80 when you go into PvP I’m sure you will be able to handle all the event content. Wouldn’t make sense to be exclusive to max levels this early in the game’s release. Plus GW never has been one to make holiday events inaccessible.

Just take them out and give those guys back their 100g or whatever. Either that or allow us to toggle them off. Make them only visible in WvW. Make them only available with Badges of Honor. I don’t know, just remove them from PvE.

Don’t assume anything by what other games have told you about classes, example, my ranger is primarily melee while my warrior is exclusively ranged. This game is not predictable. Just create one, play it, and if you hate it try something else.

I’m thinking the real problem is that there’s no international reciprocity for suing the living hell out of these gold selling companies.

I’m at about 16 cents an hour at this point so I’d have to say YES.

I love the incredible detail, the amazing things that are so off the beaten path that few people are going to see them, but are there anyway. It reminds me of people who paint a wall but don’t bother to take down the pictures first, this game is the opposite. These guys hand painted detailed texture on the part of the wall that’s going to be under the picture, just in case someone looks.

I suppose the inconvenience to waiting a few minutes to send each message is worth slowing the hackers and spammers, but I just wish we could do face to face trading like in GW1. You can impose all the limits you can think of, short of shutting the game down, these parasites are going to find a way around it.

Look, either let us send more than 5 items in a message, let us trade face to face, or stop limiting how many messages we can send to a friend.

It’s pretty easy to spot them, especially if they teleport from mob to mob. If only a strong real world action were taken, like seriously hurting the gold sellers, finding out who runs these companies and hit them hard financially.

I was previously unaware that completing things with guildies awarded so much extra influence, they make sense now, they just won’t be particularly useful until we get a good number of people who like to play together.

If I am in a Commander’s squad I’d want to see their icon, other than that, I see no need see it. It only tells me that someone was desperate enough for status that they spent 100g. It really only says that you had 100g to spare, while impressive, it doesn’t prove anything.

If they were able to have those kind of graphics by 2014, I wouldn’t be able to afford a card that could handle it til 2017.

It’s a fantasy world, if I wanted to look at fat people I’d just hang out with my friends and family.

No I won’t build them anymore, it was just a kinda shock because we didn’t do the math.

It’s the whole ongoing argument, female characters are sleek and beautiful and have large breasts, and men characters are bulky and awkward. I mean the Male Norn is fatter than I am, and I’m not a walmart cart jockey but I’m a good sized dude, I wouldn’t see me doing the thief acrobatics.

But hey it’s a fantasy world, if wanting women to be beautiful and have generous scoops of mouth watering flesh, is wrong, who wants to be right?

No rewards? At least in the human one, I could get over 70 karma just for saving a lot of villagers before rushing off to the garrison. Plus it’s a lead in to the PS, and takes almost no time.

They took that off, you don’t get 2? for saving villagers anymore.

I don’t need to see who shelled out 100g when I’m tooling around Lion’s Arch.

Still bugged for me tonight as of about 3 hours ago, the NPC’s didn’t follow me and I couldn’t get out of the cave thing.

I don’t want to be in a mega-guild. I like to know my guildmates, hang with them in guild chat, talk to them on vent etc. I was in a mega-guild in GW and half the time I had the alliance and guild chat turned off because it was nothing but bickering and trolling. But now, because I choose to have a small guild with friends, we have to work extremely hard to get influence.
We created a boost for 5% influence, it cost 100 influence and took 16 hours to build. We got a grand total of about 15 influence from it.
We have a PvP banner and I’m waiting to organize everyone into a PvP night to hopefully break even.
This makes me think of double and triple faction weekends in GW. If we spend the time and influence to make these banners, shouldn’t they at least be able to help us break even? It will never happen in my guild, we just don’t have tons of people.

Title speaks for itself. Either allow us to deposit all or withdraw all or at least let us see what we have on us for coin without having to open both windows.

For my daily chest I tend to go to low level starter areas to get my events because they are all within a small area. I would prefer to do them at level zones, but I have to hang out at places where I know events spawn. If the alert radius was increased, I could just go about my playing and then hear about an event halfway across the map, I could then choose whether to run over there, or take a waypoint.

Waypoint use is highly annoying due to the prohibitive cost of using them. Especially in low level areas. Suppose I want to play with my friend who is level 6. I have to pay over 1s to take the waypoint closest to her, then when we need to jump back to town for something, it hits me again. After a few hours of play I’ve wasted 15-20s on travel, and barely gained that much off what I’ve been doing out there.

In GW1 I could map travel all across the globe for free, granted, I couldn’t waypoint back to where I was, but it still doesn’t seem right.

As an experiment, I took my level 62 Ranger to Queensdale, stood ON the waypoint, and clicked the map, it would have cost 1s19c to travel no distance.

At the very least they should have an historian NPC in an expansion who tells a tale of lore, and have this guy do the voice for him.

What bugs me is people doing things like t his to get around the chat filters. If someone turned on the filter, they don’t want to read it, why intentionally force something on someone who does not want it?

How about the surly charr banker in L.A. “What do YOU want.” Ahhhh!

I wanted to avoid repetition, but maybe the more people who say it the better:
Waypoint costs are prohibitive.
Hair accessories should be able to be dyed.

The thing that is at the top of my list is the repetitive NPC speech. Spending 15 or 20 minutes in the bank in Lion’s Arch having to listen to that surly charr banker is maddening. Unfortunately, just a check box to disable NPC speech wouldn’t be the best solution, because I find the random conversations add to the feel of the game. I don’t have the solution, only the problem. I don’t know, maybe you only hear the voiced reply when you interact with an NPC instead of hearing it every time someone else interacts with it.
