The Grove (Sylvari City) is off of Caledon Forest in the south. From there you can take the Portal to the hub in Lion’s Arch and get the Portal there to Rata Sum and take the exit there to Metrica Province (north gate of east vertex).
Or you can simply go to the Wiki and pull up the map of Caledon Forest and find the path to Metrica.

Which is a level 13 area that leads into a level 14 area in Metrica.

Like I said, one instance support won’t care. Multiple instances with the same player, they may take action at that point.

You were sent to a more populated map. It doesn’t mean that the same event is running on that map. Short of world bosses, events can be manually spawned or spawn after a cool down since it was last completed. They don’t run on a clock like world bosses.
And now you know.
RIP City of Heroes
Hey I was from City of Heroes. It was relatively cheap to modify your appearence and you could have up to ten (last 5 were cash shop) looks you could set up and switch between.
But I knew coming in that this wouldn’t be that kind of MMO. If you want to think about it in a RP way, skinning is transforming your current armor, via magic or a professional so it’s only natural that the look doesn’t carry over if you switch armors. That’s what outfits buy you but the trade off is lack of mix and matching.
Everyone gets 3 transmutation charges every login reward cycle. They are rewarded via map clears, PvP and the occasional chest and worse case, they are one of the cheapest items at the Gem Shop.

Me and my luck .. finally could farm some wood .. set some into the TP for 2.89 and
5 minutes later it looks like thisWhile the price for planks still is beyond 9s. I dont know why people dont refine their stuff before selling it. The players you want to sell your listings to are usually the impatient kind (thats why they buy directly). And if they are the impatient kind they are more likely to buy planks directly, rather than saving 10c on logs and then refine themselves.
Even buying logs (by putting in bids) and refining them to planks you can still get 10% profit right now posting them for sale.
RIP City of Heroes
Don’t worry, there aren’t that many units priced less than yours. But 2.89s is still pretty high, it’s above GW2Spidy 24-hour average of 2.74s and that plot seems to be leveling out.
Looking at the GW2TP chart over the last day most sales (when the low sale price rises) seems to be in the 2.65-2.75s range.

Why not make the average elite mob in a dungeon drop at least one random green upon killing it?
That’s really the only reason why people skip dungeon mobs in game, since there really is really no reason to waste effort working for a grey item and a little XP. Maybe this doesn’t need to get added in regular dungeon mode, but at least explorable mode!
Let me know what you guys think!
I have an easier fix, take off the leashes. You run by a mob, they will hunt you down unless you kill them.
RIP City of Heroes
1st time no worries then. They ban accounts not IP addresses.

It’s a problem when you are working on your alts. Your first character is coin poor and you actually got excited when gear got dropped that was both better than what you have and you could actually use it. Your 2nd character and beyond, you’re cash rich, likely, and simply buy decent gear off the TP for them which is likely to be better than any drop they get. You get into the habit of selling or salvaging anything green or lower and only cursory glance at yellow and orange gear before doing the same.
Tough to get excited when virtually everything dropped is considered beneath your notice.

Sure, if she had a habit of welshing on “loans” then support might take action. Otherwise as long as she makes good eventually it might tick off the loaner but that’s it.

That they weren’t being replenished and the supply was completely drained to 0.
In the days before this supply fluctuated between 16,500 and 5,500. It’s as if one or more regular suppliers took the day off.
And before supply went to 0 the price leaped to nearly 30s each and there were still 300 left in supply so there were likely others with silly prices well over a gold. It takes effort and a lot of coin to completely drain the supply of an item.

I love the rounding. Use to be, best case, 485-486 a year, now roughly kitten -717 a year depending how often you take the chest of laurels. 730 a year (2 a day)?. Ah, how about no.
The laurel rewards scale up across the 28 day login reward cycle. Your totals on day 2, 7, 9, 16, 21, 23 are 1, 11, 13, 16, 31, 35 respectively with the optional 20 on day 28 for 55 laurels in total if you take it. Otherwise it’s 1.25 laurels per day on average.
My previous suggestion about gem purchased laurels has to do with attempting to resolve the dichotomy of the game targeting casual play with a reward based on frequency of playing. The Gem to Gold exchange is there for those who don’t have the time to earn gold in game so why not something for laurels?
Using similar ratios for bulk keys we could have 1 laurel for 12 gems, 5 laurels for 45 gems and 25 laurels for 200 gems. And I’m pricing generously here.
RIP City of Heroes
(edited by Behellagh.1468)
That shouldn’t have caused the drain from 11,700 to 0 in 18 hours.
RIP City of Heroes
Laurels are a currency you get by showing up (at least now it is, was dailies/monthlies before). It’s a reward for attendance, so no. If you can’t bother showing up then no laurels for you.
Edit: Now selling a package of Laurels at the Gem Shop for cash rich, time poor players would be acceptable.
RIP City of Heroes
Ordering doesn’t make the price rise, buying out supply does. BLC went from 2.7 million supply 1st week of April to 130K now. And the price didn’t start to rise until over 2.5 million were bought at 60c a pop. That’s over a 15,000 gold purchase and needing 10,000 slots to hold them.
Selling at roughly 3-4x the cost supply hasn’t risen above 200K since then. So someone is playing De Beers with something that’s worthless without pricey keys. If they turn a profit in the end, good for them but the investment was quite high.
RIP City of Heroes
So it moved from 7.6s to 9.3s in the end. I call that a price correction. Basically the previous price was below what the market could support and was prevented from rising due to the undercutting nature of new supply. Once flushed out it is now finding it’s new support price. It’s down 50c from 12 hours ago so the price still hasn’t stabilized yet.
Some will cry that this is inflation or price manipulation but players can still go harvest seasoned logs, convert them to planks and undercut.
RIP City of Heroes
As “fun” as it is debating the legitimacy of dungeon path selling, we are derailing from the issue of 500 gold a week being enough for the vast majority of players or not.
RIP City of Heroes
Dungeon selling is not unsupported.
It is.
They tolerate it, but they do in no way or form actively support it.You are mistaken.
They spent money to build a tool and defined dungeon selling as being one of that tool’s uses. Spending dev resources to allow something is active support.
Show me where ANet said that an approved purpose for the LFG tool is selling paths?

Telia is simply an internet provider, an international one.
The first of your three highlighted hops was to the Telia’s router in Atlanta from Charter’s, then Telia’s in Dallas, then to NCSOFT’s Dallas’s router.
RIP City of Heroes
Until you can tell us where you are we can’t really be of any help.

It sure as hell is unsupported. It’s an activity developed by the players, not the devs. Just because sell swords can use the LFG tool and get paid via mail doesn’t mean it’s supported.

Skip the services tab, see the three links on the top left of the screen? Forums, Support, Wiki? Click on Support.
From there there is a link on the top right labeled Submit a Request, click that.
From the pull down on that page select Account Issue and have him fill out as much as he can.
I assume none of the official languages that are supported are native or secondary to him, English, German, French or Spanish.

How does GW2 afford to stay online like this if its free to play?
They can’t, which is why they are rushing an expansion out. Hopefully when they switch their model, they can get the content timing better.
Yeah, because $76 million over the last year is a death knell. That’s equivalent to 400K+ subscriptions. Not bad for a cash shop. Sure it’s not WoW numbers but nothing else is close to WoW numbers either

The question is of opportunity cost. Is it better getting coin now that could be used for better gear but having to scrounge or buy the mats later when you start crafting, possibly at a higher price. Even if the price doesn’t increase in the future you would be paying 18% more (due to the 15% loss when you sold them).
So the question becomes one of can you use the coin those items and mats are worth today? If not keep them if you have the space.

Hello community!
Dungeon seller here. This restriction is very annoying. Dungeon (FOTM) selling is literally the only thing that is left to do in this game due to the lack of new content (we all patiently waiting for expansion). And we cannot even do that anymore since all 3 members of our team getting gold cap in 2-3 days.
I fully understand where you guys coming from with this change but please reconsider the gold cap or do something else to help your paying customers (not RMT). This change not only affects dungeon sellers but also large WvW guilds and RP guilds that used to organize raffles.
Too bad. I consider Dungeon Sellers just above RMT and a byproduct of the elitism of dungeon speed runners. If players were more open about who joined them then you sellers wouldn’t have a ready supply of clientele. Also DS is ripe with players who rip off the very players who pay them by booting them before the final chest drop.
Give me a dozen market manipulating flippers than one dungeon seller any day. You are suppose to be heroes, not sell swords.
RIP City of Heroes
What did you expect with a limited time available skin. There isn’t a renewable supply year round and when it is available, it’s not easy to get. Only 200 were available last Halloween, out of 1000 raffle prizes.

If you could move it between characters, I could see that but universal unlock for every character existing or future, no, I don’t see that happening. ANet needs to make money somehow.

Who cares what proportion it affects?
It affects some and there are multiple implementations that would completely eliminate the issue altogether.
Second password, email authorization, voluntary opt-out with a 1 month waiting period and no support if hacked.
False dichotomy isn’t appreciated.
ANet obviously since from the way they see it it inconveniences 56 RMT transfers for every legitimate one. Needs of the many, making life more difficult for RMT groups, out ways the needs of the few and sorry, you’re on the wrong end of that scale.
And what prevents RMT from also taking advantage of any of the workarounds you’ve suggested. New accounts also have limitations in transfer or gem to gold conversion to also inconvenience RMTs.
Your OP Rising, pre-merger, was about needing the gold for guild improvements. Since guild improvements need influence and not gold then why not have your 2nd character join the same guild and convert his gold into Letter of Thanks and then apply them to the guild.

Fine Braxton, B2P allows the developer to quickly recover the cost of development unlike F2P which means unlike F2P a B2P game doesn’t cripple the player account from the get go or needs to pay way or nickle and dime a player simply to get a functioning character that’s enjoyable to play. But like F2P it doesn’t guilt the player into playing because they are paying monthly like a subscription game would.
As for content, we did get 28 Living Story Chapters, 11 Special Events and 2 Feature Packs in 29 months before announcing the expansion. Since the announcement it’s been a little new content lite. All in all not bad for a game that’s B2P and relies on the cash shop for it’s primary source of income for a fair chunk of the 33ish months it’s been out.

Microsoft is calling their new browser in Win 10 Edge so the icon will still be a stylized “E”. Why? Because too many people have been taught to double click the “E” to get to the Internet.
Seriously? That’s funny.
Why are they giving up the “Internet Explorer” name?
Bad rep about it being a bloated, security lax, ignoring W3C standards, etc. It did improve in it’s later years but the damage has been done. It’s the reason that IE has less than 25% of the worldwide browser share (under 30% in the US) even though it’s baked into Windows.
Microsoft simply didn’t want to lose anymore users by calling it Spartan or another name that didn’t start with “E” which could confuse users who couldn’t be bothered downloading Chrome or Firefox (or Opera for tech savvy Hipsters).

They went from 3 random from a set to specific ones. How much would you have spent if these were just rares or exotics from a 3-pack just to get them? Likely much more than the current asking price. Of course you would have tons of dups of common minis you could sell and get a fraction of the gold back you spent on a 3-pack. But it’s not about the gold/cash is it, it’s about …

If you encounter in game mail with the link below, be careful. It is a scam that will make you lose access to your account.
What was the clue? The “sjs9-3sv4.pw” domain?
.pw = Palau.
Of course the problem is to many people are ignorant about high level domains as well as making URLs that “seem” like they are coming from a legitimate source. PCs are still too complicated for the average user. They aren’t kid proof consoles.
Microsoft is calling their new browser in Win 10 Edge so the icon will still be a stylized “E”. Why? Because too many people have been taught to double click the “E” to get to the Internet. That is the depth of knowledge phishers expect from players so they can pull off stuff like this.
ANet has tried to warn players about this. There is only so much they can do.
RIP City of Heroes
Going back to the original announcement the impact from the limit to mail based on their data was around 1 in 32,000 legitimate players would encounter it. Sorry if you’re one of those OP.

By posting the phishing link, just like everyone else is. I’m starting to believe that it’s phishers posting these “occurrences” so more players see it because I too can’t believe so many people are that panicky that they didn’t make it to the not from AreanaNet message but can take a screenshot, clip it to size, and upload it. I’m expecting a YouTube video with a voice over asking what this means next with the speaker reading off the URL.

Yeah … the whole box baby. CPU is ancient. The G3258 dual core is roughly 70% faster. Being an old HP it means it has a sub par power supply which helps to explain the R7 240, it’s relatively cheap and low power, but it needs to go as well if you ever want a faster video card.
So the core “guts”, CPU/MB/RAM needs upgrading. That’s under $200 for a G3258/Asus H81M-E microATX/2×4GB DDR3-1600 CAS 9 memory.

It’s account bound so all your characters can use it but you will need to pass it to them via the bank. It’s not like every character gets a copy of it.

But if you aren’t looking to go Skylake or Broadwell-E or “Zen” when ever it’s due, DDR3 prices will start to rise as demand goes to DDR4. So there may be some good deals on DDR3 before manufacturers start to focus production on DDR4 in the near future.
