Daily routine:
1 – Kill teq
2 – Kill maw
3 – PvP Dailies
4 – Craft some time gated items
5 – Gather home instance nodes

Usually I don’t have more time to do anything else on weekdays, but on weekends I do guild missions 1 hour after the weekly reset, some Silverwastes runs, LS achievements (besides the Meet the asura bugged one I finished all of them last night).

There is an option to check “Adjust Camera to Character Height”, just check it and the camera will adjust to the head of your character, no matter your size.

So … no words at all about it?
A single red post saying “We are looking at it” would be enough.

Meet the asura challenge mote is the only thing blocking me from getting my bio luminescent set, I even did the invisible and aggressive infiltration.

Wolf – Lobinho (Small wolf in portuguese)
Jelly-fish – U Jelly

Some brazilian players put “BR” in their names, I make my pets have names in portuguese to see if others notice and sometimes I find other brazilians that way

They just mentioned Canach among the others because he often is among us, nothing new so far.

In Rs2 I used to love my maxed character because I felt like e Demi-God, yes low level NPC was easy but i still has many threats even at max level, but you did atleast feel like a max level.

Yeah, sadly GW2 may not be the game for you.
Here the devs wanted you to feel challenged no matter what level and where you are playing. Sure a max level in a starter map will have an easy time, but if he goes there naked for example, the mobs will kill you.

I think he isn’t getting trouble in low level areas, he just want to 1 shot everything he touches.
@OP, when you get better gear you’ll be able to get to low level areas and pretty much 1 shot everything, besides some bosses, but those you’ll be able to solo easily.

Do you have them unlocked from GW1? I’m asking just to make sure.

Also, I heard something about HoM rewards being locked temporally because of a bug since the update, not sure if the lock is for players that just unlocked the HoM rewards after the update or if everyone have their rewards locked.

I totally agree, except for cartoons/animations, Brazilian dubs are amazing and since animations are all dubbed anyway, I’ll go for my native tongue.

Number of people that speaks a language in the world doesn’t relate to number or possible players to the game.
Portuguese have a very large number of speakers, but a small number of possible players, and many from that small amount of players knows how to speak English so the need of a translation even smaller.

I don’t see ANet translating this game in any other language, Chinise was the only one that was a possibility in my opinion, but they got their own client so they are already covering the best cost/benefit languages they can.

Yes they did add a mission in GW1 where you met a time traveler that was a commando, and you joined him in a mission in the past to save Gwen’s mother, the mission was full of Terminator references, it was soooooo awesome.

The society chose English as the international language, sure “Chinese” is the most spoken language, but the relevance is far lower than many other languages.

Half of the world’s information (I can’t remember the source, so just bear with me) is in English , the standard scientific language currently is English (used to be French) , no matter where you study, post graduation formations you are required to write your paper or even your presentation in English .

Machiavell is correct, I think that if you want to interact with the world, you need to learn English or just deal with the consequences of not understanding half of the info that exists.

Yes, most Blizzard games and LoL have really good localization, but those are among the rare ones I mentioned.

Axe main hand is a very good tag machine, add a sigil of fire and you’ll be hitting everything.

I played with axe mh for most of my ranger life and I really like it, but after the LB update and after I finally starting to get the feel of the sword I dropped my axe mh and I only use it as off hand.

My bad, dub is only in French and German. Spanish have only translation.

Actually they DO dub most, if not all, voice overs in German, French and Spanish.

Depends a lot.
The thing with conditions is that they have a nice sustained damage, power builds have good burst damage, and in many aspects of the game things die so fast that there is no time for a cond build to build their damage.

I don’t think that conditions will be meta, but they will be a viable option in open world for sure.

Usually GW doesn’t celebrate Easter, but it would be nice.

You are probably talking about the Personal Story.
Now it is available every 10 levels, starting at level 10, when it is available for you a green marker appears and you can follow it.

I’m Brazilian and sadly Brazil and Portugual are a small market in GW2, when they make localization they need to hire translators and give support to them, and all that cost is very likely to not be worth.

Also I agree with ReaverKane, games with Portuguese localization sounds and looks weird most of the times, it is extremely rare to see a good one.

In GW1 the Cities were the only non instanced places, that is the reason of such mechanic there.
In GW2 every map works like GW1 cities and outposts.

To be fair, everyone holds their personal beliefs because they believe it to be right. No one holds a point of view that they know to be false (not without significant mental issues, I suppose).

There is a HUGE gap between metabuild and useless.
I say that those stats are far from useless, but they aren’t meta for sure, in that I agree.

i dont agree with u when u say only one optimal, maybe will be only 2, ok, but this is for party composition, not for individual build, for example if condi will be viable you should choose it instead of zerker, if content will be writed for different counters (like tequatl) you should go for PTV, if in raids or dungeon, they will design something different from stack and max dps, also a more tanky/healing stats will be usefull…

I should be a bit more specific, I mean 1 optimal per type of encounter.
PVT is the optimal for Teq and most World Bosses (although zerker will cause the same damage but with less survivability)
In Dungeons Zerker in the optimal stat.
In future content new optimal stat combo may appear, and for each type of encounter 1 set will be optimal and other sets will be “almost” as good, like currently assassin is almost as good as zerker.

It may be a reality in the future, since it was suggested many time, who knows?
So far we got the HP bar, a time ago we didn’t even have it

Are you implying that players can only use 1 combo set in their gear?
That I can’t use an Assassin/Cavalier set?

Combo variety is there to be mixed and used.

1 – Daily resets at 00:00 server time, so both answers are correct.
2 – You don’t get the reward if you do the World Boss 2 times in the same daily, if you do a boss at 22:00 and again at 01:00 you’ll get both rewards, but if you do at 19:00 and 22:00 you won’t get it.
3 – That is the sum of the rewards, bonus + chest.

I really doubt that the game will require a better machine, but it is more likely that GW2 will run better in the current machines.

Assuming such scenery, yeah I think that the base classes will be overshadowed by the specializations.

But I strongly believe that Ravs will be tuned down in some aspects and specializations will just bring more flavor than simply be better compared to the base classes.

Oh, and I’m using an i5 2500K CPU Stock Speeds. Never thought of the game as “CPU Bound” as many seem to. I suspect it’s a configuration issue not a Hardware issue for most players.

GW2 IS very CPU bound, but the 2500k is a very good CPU for gaming since it has a good speed per core, and also OC really well if you think in doing so someday.

It is true, Spotter only affect 5 people that are in the range of 600.

Dang that is a really good work time, I work 10 hours shift (9:00am to 7:00pm) Monday to Friday and for 3 years I worked 12 hours shifts Mon ~ Fri and occasional Saturdays.

Besides a very few dungeon paths with mechanics that requires more than 1 player, all the others are soloable by every class, what changes is how long it will take and how easy.

A time ago I wanted to test a new build for my ranger and for that I went to a lvl 1 Snowblind fractal solo and see how long I would last, in the ended I was able to finish it.
