When I bought SSD, I moved my Win7 from old HD to SSD and then updated to Win10, for some reason GW2 didn’t work.
Then I simply made a clean Win 10 install on SSD and copied the GW2 files from old HD, everything is running perfectly ever since.

AMD CPU doesn’t work as well as Intel’s CPU with GW2, AMD GPU works totally fine.

None of the profession devs are talking, you can check the lack of red post in the other 8 forums too.

No one knows all that for sure, but what we know is:
The box will give a full legendary set.
The skin will be unlocked like any other legendary does.
You’ll be able to swap stats like any legendary does.

What I’m not sure: Seems like the box will give you 1 armor weight, and you’ll be able to do the collection multiple times, so it won’t be like an outfit, it will be like a regular armor.

That will probably make 1st person gameplay much more viable.

Luckily dual sword is the meta build for mesmer in PvE.
Greatsword itself has a higher damage, but the mesmer skills for it has a low damage coefficient, while sword’s skills has a higher coefficient and the phanton from the sword off hand has high DPS than GS’s phanton.

But as FogLeg said, both are totally viable, the long range from GS is very useful sometimes.

Weapon strength = the average attack that is in the weapon description, if you are using 2 1handed weapons (like sword + focus), you sum the values.

A famous GW2 youtuber, WoodenPotatoes, plays in the NA servers and he is in UK.
I’ve never seem him complain and his game footage looks great, even in PvP/WvW and big events.

Some are quite hard/tricky to do (I’m looking at you Wicked Rodeo), and every single one can be soloed (some will make the achievement harder than needed, but can be soloed for sure).
Use the LFG, you’ll definitely find 1 or 2 other players that also need or just willing to help you.

In WvW the loot appear under your foot by default, you just need to press the AoE loot button, but yeah I can see it making life easier.

What about crafting stations in WvW? That 10% bonus is pretty meaningless.

Noblesse Oblige doesn’t work in WvW and PvP, so why mention it?

For PvP you don’t need absolutely anything from PvE to get all stats and specializations.
For WvW I agree with you, there should be ways to get the new stats doing WvW.

But OP was talking about Central Tyria MPs, and for WvW and PvP you don’t anything from there, everything is used only in PvE.

True, some gear stats are behind PvE gameplay (not really behind mastery), but still it involves 0 central tyria mastery.

You do realize that every mastery can be used only in PvE (don’t tell me about PvP lobby …) so why would you worry/want to get them outside PvE?

Also, HoT specializations requires 0 mastery points to unlock.

What end making you get out of CA is the “enlargement” part of the SotW, SotP is fine.

The problem is that those are immune to crits and cond damage, making it useless.

I still have divided feeling about Druid.
It made ranger meta for raid and really good in PvP and that is great, but … just like other players, I made my ranger to be an offensive class and I expected druid to be an offensive support, kinda like herald is, but we ended as a full healer.

Your software only read pictures taken from the UI, there in no issue there, the rest of the process (DPS calculation and connection with others for group DPS) doesn’t involve the GW2 client at all, and it doesn’t offer any advantage. so it is all fine.

So , the devs would “only” need to create an (user) side animation kit, a way to store custom commands and animations tied to user and not to a server side command and then replicate to other clients and also manually check every animation that is sent to prevent bad use of the tool … yeah seems very possible and easy >_>

I soloed it with my ranger.
For weapons I used LB+GS, GS is good for the evasion frames and the block.
For build I pretty much used the S/A+LG Spotter build but with GS instead of sword/axe

For food I used mango pie to keep myself alive, since there is no time limit, I could just run away a bit and heal

I did it before HoT, so I use river drake + jaguar as pet.

EDIT: I just remembered that if you go solo you use Caith’s skills, so yeah, use the mango pie and the sharpening stone/elemental slayer , but their skills also have evasion frames and a gap closer (like our GS)

Both will have special animations, but “function as a glider” was only specifically referred to the Ascension.

I also think that both will work as glider, but only Ascension we can say for sure, Ad Infinitun is just a “very likely”

Lore wise both are possible for sure, Elona being more possible than Cantha imo.

You should wait a couple weeks and see what happens with burnzerker. It was nerfed hard but they are looking at revamping the nerf. So at this point I’d say wait before putting in a large investment.

Half true.
The problem is that when more than 1 Berserker is using Scorched Earth at the same target, the skill sometimes doesn’t hit, so they aren’t revamping the nerf, they will fix the bug.

Permanent rich nodes takes 23 hours to reset, precisely to avoid the issue you mention OP.
Also, those 23 hours counts only if you don’t fall into the daily reset mentioned in the above posts.

Vitality usually counters condition, but it also helps against direct damage.

You are running full glass cannon build, for that you need to play on the highest skill to keep alive.
Try to get some defensive traits or those asc. zerk/valk trinkets to rise a bit your HP but keep the damage.

BTW, for those raptors, AoE is the key.
Shape shifting? I’ll guess you mean the smokecales, if so, cond damage is the solution.
The “frogs” are quite hard indeed, if you are out numbered, just run haha

By “elite gear” you mean exotic or ascended?
What is the stats of your gear? Berserker, Soldiers, Knights … ?
Can you show what traits and weapons you are using?

But in general, HoT maps are indeed harder than the regular ones, which doesn’t mean much, so yeah … you need to play better and pick your fights, like I was able to solo all the HoT story with every class except mesmer and eng (I didn’t try those yet), but I know I can’t solo a group event or kill a champion solo.

Those servers are an easy and fast way to get those dailies.
I consider myself ok at PvP, I reached ruby doing pretty much only the 3 daily matches needed for the meta and I use those rooms to finish the 4 PvP dailies in about 8~15 minutes.
Also, as mentioned before, you really want those players in the unranked/ranked matches?

Bug Fix:
Fixed a bug that prevented progress in the Gliding Mastery line for new players.

The quantity of an item on TP is WAY different from how many of that item exists.

Yes, the 16g is worth, since you can sell them for about 1.5g on TP, so about 6~7g profit daily.
I keep the other envelopes and only open 6 of those for the daily, later I’ll either try to get as much MF as possible and open them all or sell after the event is over.

You can only tame those pets in the HoT maps (Bristleback in AB and Smokescale in TD).
For free only in PvP, PvE and WvW you need to tame them.

Burnzerker was nerfed to be on par with other cond classes, before patch they were WAY above any other class in PvE.

The amount increases a lot the further you go into the maps.
I think there is no ley line in VB, there are a couple in AB, there are a good amount in TD and in DS there are a lot, specially in the MoM fight.

That is a very specific issue.
Shift + Alt changes the keyboard setting, the only situation I can think of people that has more than 1 keyboard setting are people that work in IT and need to connect to different computers with different keyboards.
I’m Brazilian, so at home I only have the PT-BR (ABNT) keyboard setup, but at work I need to also have the EN (US International) to use some servers.

If you delete a character, the soulbound items will keep attached to the same character, all you’ll be able to do is “right click” > “destroy”.
Best tip is try to make Incinerator from it and then sell (before you account bound it by unlocking skin or equipping)

In some points of the map there are ley lines, differently from updrafts , those can move you horizontally, when you find one and have the mastery, you can glide to it and then you’ll keep bouncing in that ley line.

EXAMPLE 1: YOU would like 6 cantrips and 2 glyphs, how about the player that would prefer 5 glyphs and 3 cantrips? What would be your idea to guarantee a fair number of skills, independent of the playstyle?

EXAMPLE 2: I agree, that is a big issue we have in our current balancing.

EXAMPLE 3: Could be a good idea, but oh well, now it is too late.

EXAMPLE 4: That particular skill line (mesmer wells) probably was coded in a certain way where the effect is tied to the animation, so now they are tied to it, but that is an exception, not a rule.
