People made a few calculations, and the minimum you’ll need to do to get the legendary backpiece in 4 seasons is, reach Ruby 2x and Sapphire 2×.

I’m assuming you are talking about PvE (based on the full zerk gear), on that I’ll say, keep playing as ranger.

In PvE I really disliked druid, I never made my ranger to be the healer/support I made it to be the DPS or DPS/support, but in PvP I really enjoyed druid, playing as one made me reach ruby on the league.

Well … that is the GW2 definition of hybrid weapon, and that is how it was designed.

Sadly, I don’t see axe being good in PvE ever because hybrid will never be good in PvE, axe is only used in the ranger meta cond build because it is the only option (torch is the main weapon in the build and between sword and axe, axe has pierce finisher to spread more burn).

Ranger are in dire need of good 1h weapons, sword is used in power build mainly because the AA is fast, the other 2 skills is pretty niche at best, and axe is the mess we are discussing here.

I can’t wait future elite specs that can give either a good power or cond 1h weapon (dagger or scepter would be my wish list )

Couple weeks ago there was a bug that reset those option, you probably were affected by that bug.

Because that strategy only works for Vale Guardian, you’ll need actual healer for the other 2 bosses.

Yes, currently the meta is everyone running glass builds (zerker healer/tank/DPS + viper or sinister cond DPS) and that actually works, the thing is that as before the update, the zerker meta requires player skill, if your team doesn’t have it then the tank needs to by more tankier, and the healer more healier :P

With all said, the ideal set is zerker, zealot > magi/shaman > cleric/apothecary are the other options if you actually need a healer to cover mistakes.

It would be a really difficult and extensive chart.
Outgoing healing affect the healing of the skill and not the character healing power, so it needs to be analysed per skill since different ones scales differently, also it is a percentage , so you would need to compare in ranges of healing power.

3 – Anet can’t do anything about it, the only thing they could do is make an OCE/SEA server and whoever wants to play there go, but it will be like the difference between EU/NA, you can’t interact among them.

Adventures are already a “HoT daily”, you can do it and get full reward every day, and the exp from it is actually pretty good.

CC does reduce the breakbar for sure, but some CCs remove more or less of it.
Things like blind, cripple, vulnerability (soft CC) reduce a tiny bit, while fear, knockdown, stun (hard CC) removes a lot more, also you need to coordinate your party to break the whole bar, since some (most) of those mobs regen the bar quickly.

EDIT: Also, those mobs will be immune to CC while they have the bar, after you break it a predetermined effect will happen, no matter the CCs you are using, Savacli explained why such mechanic exists.

I’m pretty sure that none of the infinite achieves counts towards the meta, but as Donari said, if it counts only the 1st time will.

You can do the shoulder collection after the Wintersday ends, so do the achives to get the Wintersday tree in your house and keep getting boxes during the whole year and buying some while you play, no need to buy right now when the demand for the booze is the highest.

Your examples become really a grind if you try to make it as fast as you can, like you see that you need 30 spirit wood for a legendary step, so you go grind to get them all in 3 days, but if you just played as you wanted, you would be able to get them in 3 months, the difference is that you don’t feel that you grinded at all.

Bell Choir is the most reliable way to get presents, the JP is the fastest IF you manage to finish it at least 50% of the time.

Myself with a bit high ping (~180 ms) I can’t do the JP reliably , but Bell Choir is a matter to adjust when to press the button, after that figured out I usually end in the top 3 players every round.

Just like certain other signets give you a bonus over a period of time.

The SotW active bonus is to give the enlargement transformation and the stability.
The enlargement transformation gives the 25% damage and 50% movement speed.

Mechanically you do change visually and that change gives bonuses, it is a minor transformation but one nonetheless.

I think it is intended, all classes that has a form of transformation (necro’s shroud and lich, warrior/eng berserker form, etc ) are removed if you get another transformation like mesmer/eng moa morph and in our case SotW enlargement.

In PvP definitely no, for the reason OGDeadHead pointed.
In PvE, it would be awesome, or at very least re-skin among the same family, like make my red moa have the black moa skin, my river drake with reef drake skin and so on.

Captain is correct, just toggle autoattack off and done, that way you can even use your GS #3 next to a mob and not attack it.

I got 1 for sure, but hopefully the drop rate was reduced.
Last year I only opened the boxes required for the dailies, the rest I sold, but still I got so many tools that I still have some in my bank.

I only have 1 of each craft maxed, but they are spread among my toons, than crafting that is not maxed I swapped to scribe, that way only the maxed one will appear in my select screen.

I’d like to remove that scribe icon from my toons and only leave it on my rev, but for now that was what I did to not mix them.

As you can see in my sig I have 9 maxed character, and 2 others for specific farms, my 9 maxed ones all have crafting on them and some repeated, so what I did to solved the mess?
On my Revenant I only added Scribe, on all my other toons I swapped the not maxed crafting to scribe, that way when I look at my toons in the select screen I can see which one have the maxed crafting, if you don’t have access to scribe then pick other craft to be the “default” placeholder.

EDIT: In my mind it seems pretty logic/clear, not sure if my explanation made sense …

Yeah, there are a bit of RNG involved, just keep trying till you get a good set of spawns.

Yeah, armor is Berzerser for sure, the added defense from marauder isn’t needed, if needed, add a few of the zerk/valk asc trinkets, those will lower your precision a bit and rise Vit, since rev have the added bonus from fury, and it is common to have a spotter available in raids you’ll get your 90~100 crit chance easily and still have max available power and ferocity.

I’ll assume you’ll be part of the DPS, so ascended sword with sigil of force is nearly mandatory, as you stated your staff doesn’t need to be asc, but I usually use Glint + Shiro elites + axe #4 for breakbar, so I keep a hammer in my off set to occasional need of long range, and finally you’ll probably use axe or shield as off hand weapon, ideally it would be asc, but exotic will work really fine, for sigil I’m not really sure, I use sigil of air in my axe.

For Runes I use scholar, it is quite easy to be at over 90%HP and even under it the power+ferocity is a great bonus compared to other runes like strength and rage.

To complement (I agree about the other legendaries): Kudzu feels like a niche theme, if you like the nature look of it then it is a must have, otherwise it is hard to fit any theme with it.

In the chat box you can set up to see “damage taken” and there you can check who, what and for much you’ve been hit.

Lost Precipice you only need glide 1 and it is located in the 1st HoT map.
Gilded Hallow you need to do the meta event of the 2nd map and at least 1 mesmer with exalted mastery 1 and open portal for the others to reach it.

It is even better, you don’t get perma swiftness, you get 33% move speed bonus, that means if something remove/steal your boons, you’ll still have it, on the other hand, if you have any bonus that count how many boons you have, NS won’t count as swiftness.

If your lag is nearly this bad (even if it is a 2s difference) it is a problem with your end or your ISP, 2000~5000 ms ping is just to high for anything.

I know that exists dual core CPU with good performance out there, but with OP’s question I can’t assume he has a high end mobile device and call it a “dual core CPU” , but yeah, I agree with everything you said.

Probably your GPU doesn’t allow you to use that setting.

BTW, “dual core CPU” doesn’t tell much about what CPU you have, but I’m sure that if it really is only dual core, it is a really old model and this game depends a lot of your CPU, even my smartphone is quad-core …

Can you try to show a more detailed spec of your PC?

HoT has no Dungeons.
Also, everyone play as DPS, there is no space for tank/heal in dungeons.
If you post your party in the LFG it won’t take more than 10 mins to fill.
