Most matches with 2 rangers (me being one of them) we usually win.
With 2 rangers we end 1 going mid to support the rest of the team and another go far to prevent or even cap it and that is a huge advantage.

As Garambola said, you won’t be able to play together on different regions.
In your case I would suggest the person in UK play in the NA server instead of the West coast in the EU, the reason is from WC to the server in Austin – TX you’ll have a great ping but if you play on EU the server is in Germany and the ping will drop a lot, but for the one in UK the ping difference between to Germany or to Austin isn’t as significant.

The best jump (forward) “skill” i found to do “jumping for you” is the experimental gun item, which any class high level enough can use. But i doubt that will make it easier.

In Fractals only the Cliffside and the Uncategorized have some sort of JP, the Uncategorized you only need to be able to jump forward into a quite big platform, no need of any skill, for Cliffside you can aim the teleport skills in the bottom of the platforms to go to the top of the platforms, and the jump skill required for the rest is VERY minimal, no need to corner jump or precise jump or dodge jump or anything, all you need to do is jump forward and there is a big margin for error.

I know that JP is not for everyone but in fractals you don’t have any, the only thing I can see that “requires” JP is if you want to get map completion, then there are a couple Vistas that are behind JPs.

I don’t see a need in any fractal for jump forward skills, at all. Teleport skills on the other hand yes.

The number or players that read the forums is very low.
From that low amount of player, only a fraction have the character slot or the will to make a lvl 53~56 character.
From those selected few, only some didn’t know this already.
The demand for those materials is huge and this post won’t make any difference on the price, but we can hope that this become true, eh?

Also, the required jumping skill on Cliffside is very low, I had much worse time with the wind gusts than with the “JP” itself.

You are playing on a notebook and have no money …
All you can do is gradually low your graphic settings until you reach your desired FPS.
Things like Character model, Draw distance, Model limit and Shadow are good things to start.

OP is talking about the achievement there, where you need to kill the boss without ressing anyone.
Also, there is nothing random there, all the mobs have a very specific path and all the bodies are always in the same place, even if they die they return to the same spot.

If you call the cliffside fractal a “Jumping Puzzle” then you really have issues with it :P
Mesmers can port you there, if you play as mesmer, ele or thief you can skip everything.

i5 3470 performance is very good, so if you really want to upgrade, then I suggest getting a i7 3770k and a good CPU cooler and OC that beauty, you’ll be able to keep every other part you have in your PC and get the best performance you can have in GW2.

For the legendary backpiece you’ll either need:
3 seasons: 1 diamond + 2 ruby
4 seasons: 2 ruby + 2 sapphire

Seems like we’ll get 3~4 seasons per year, so we’ll get the legendary backpiece this year for sure.

At this time? Not really.
It is WAY more expensive for the improvement they give, and the small performance is counting with the DDR4 sticks, which aren’t that cheap either.

For my personal taste I would suggest Norn or Human, more towards norn if female, and to human if male.

NCsoft used to be a publisher for Anet, since last year it is not the case anymore, GW2 now has no bounds with NCsoft.
They even changed the ToS and now you don’t read “NCsoft” anywhere.

In that case I have even less hope.
Nothing on ranger will be fixed (unless that means a nerf) or changed to be viable, devs quit trying that long ago.
All we have now will either be maintained as it is or simply nerfed because of reasons for things related to druid.

I don’t see ranger traits being touched at all in the future, Druid as it is now is in an ok spot for its purpose (PvE/WvW healer and PvP bunker/support) so I can only see nerfs on the druid trait line.

For ranger I expect nothing at all anymore, same for every core class.
For druid, since it is pretty good in PvP and also in PvE raids, I expect nerfs.

Such a thing isn’t possible because there are several account bound items and mechanics.
What will happen with ascended and legendary items you have and gold and currencies you earn?
Also information like Achievement Points, and the AP bonuses are account bound, so many things are account bound that I can’t see it being possible at all.
Don’t forget Guild and WvW.

An option is to ask a 2nd player to join you, when that trial starts the instance owner should not exit the starting area while the 2nd player just go there and kill the boss (the 2nd player will keep all the skills), that way it takes like 40 seconds to do the achieve

I used the Nuhoch Warbler “trick” to get it solo, and helped a couple players doing the way I said.

They were invading. Seems that The Cataclysm was after the invasion but before the Searing attempt.

January they usually make some sales, never on gems, but on items that you buy with gems.

That is a feature that I actually like in GW2, you get leveled down in lower level maps, so if you are lvl 54 in a level 10 map, you’ll hit about the same as a lvl 10 player, maybe a bit more depending on your gear.

Also, some classes are harder to be full offensive, a reaper/DH can faceroll as full zerker, a daredevil/tempest will have a harder time.

If you are playing as a full glass-cannon build, without the necessary skill to avoid damage, you can’t complain that you are dying too much.
Either change skills/traits to be more defensive or get more defensive gear or simply “get good”.

You need a software that makes your controller inputs emulate keyboard input.

The problem with lag is when it is not constant.
My ping is about 180~200ms, but it keeps like that, so I can find the spot where I need to press, if my ping were 500ms, but constantly at 500ms then you just need to find that new spot.

haha, I never thought in NOT playing like that, so much so that I have to change key binds to default every time I enter bell choir (I change my heal skill to Mouse 3 and skill 9 to “c”)
The 4 keys in the left and 4 in the right makes it perfect to lay your fingers just like that, that way you can sign each note lane to a finger.

Except for the winter presence shoulder item (on which you can get after wintersday), everything is the same than the previous years.

Then you don’t need those masteries, the “skills” you level on those maps are only used on those same maps, so no need to worry.

NS is great in open world and a good option for WvW.
Raid you don’t need it and in PvP there are obvious better choices.

I think I was using a R/P spear+shield BM build, at least that was the build I used the most for everything.

Either that or the R/Rit spirit build, that is a great solo build.

When I’m facing a bunker in a node (usually far) and suddenly I drop bonfire, switch to smokescale, and both of us attack with quickness, people usually just melt.

Torch is not used as Power weapon (even though it has direct damage and low coefficients) because of efficiency.
Axe falls into the very same category.

I meant no direct damage as in not relevant damage, it is negligible.
My statement is that, for Anet, an hybrid weapon have low damage of both types, torch have decent cond damage and extremely low power damage, it makes torch a cond weapon, maybe not a good one by itself, but you can’t make it work at all as a power weapon.

Axe, differently from torch, you can make it work in both builds, maybe not THAT effectively, but viable for sure. I used axe/axe in a power build for a long time and it was fine, torch you don’t use in a power build because you just can’t, literally any other off hand would be a better power weapon, why? Because torch was designed as a cond weapon.

By that design or definition, Torch is a hybrid weapon, too.

How?
Torch has no direct damage and both skills burn really good, can’t be more cond than that.
Dagger is our hybrid off hand, less direct damage than axe, less cond than torch, but more cond than warhorn.

Currently I do:
1 – Wintersday dailies, including the 15 orphan gifts
2 – PvP dailies
3 – At lest 3 ranked PvP matches for the league achievements
4 – Open JP chests on my lvl 21 toons
5 – Gather nodes in my home instance (sprockets + candy corn + crystal + wintersday present)
6 – Do whatever I want, can be play HoT story with another class, do some events in HoT, maybe some Raid, or just log off and watch some youtube or a series.
