Charr have 3 cities, Black Citadel is the home of the Iron Legion, Blood Legion have a city in the Charr homelands and the exactly location of the Ash legion city is unknown.
Well … you can’t say much about “each expansion pack is exactly the same” when we only had 1 …

THE GAME MECHANICS: each professions needs exactly 16 utility skills of 4 types, 3 elite skills, and an offhand / mainhand. Each character can have up to 2 crafting professions. When elite specs came out, every specialization got 1) a new utility skill type 2) one elite skill 3) one new weapon. Each profession needed to be balanced for 3 game types. No wonder the profession balance in this game is awful.

Devs try to add same amount of tools for every class and you think that is what makes balance hard?

Because that way every class is given the same opportunities.
Also they balance in different ways, like eng and ele have less weapons because their utilities gives many more weapon skills.
Also, they individually balance a lot, changing numbers and even mechanics of specific skills, like when they changed the ranger’s healing skill “we heal as one”, it was not only number balance, they added a new boon share mechanic and nothing else was needed to be changed, other healing skills kept the same, just like the other shout type skills

I have the same CPU and I have a R9 270x and I can run with everything on max.
Only the number of models I set at medium because in some moments there is no PC spec in the world that can maintain a good PFS with literally 100’s of players around.

Currently the performance difference will be barely noticeable, it at all, but as you said, it will give room for future upgrades. So if you can afford the i5 6600 go for it.

With that build you are trying to go everywhere but not reaching anywhere.
You don’t have the power to be sniping anything.
You don’t have cond to sustain your damage.
You don’t have important boons to buff your allies.

I don’t see a purpose for that build, it would be better if you tell us what is your goal and we can help improve it.

I went from HDD to SSD and it makes a lot of difference on loading times, A LOT, some maps went from 20~25 sec load down to 5.
Also, it is pretty cool to turn on your PC and be ready to use in literally 10 seconds.

I’d also go for the 390, the bit rate and the vram will make difference in the future.

10 thieves raid

1st attempt was not successful, but they will try again.

This 1st Raid wing depends more on player skill than class mechanics, I think any 10x class can complete at least VG.

In Stronghold I use CA 4 and 2 often on the doorbreakers and also to maintain the Grace of the Land on my team.
CA 5 with quickness is pretty nice in general if you are in a group fight.
I think I never use glyphs on CA, it is way too niche, usually the regular glyph effect is better.

You and your Pet use your own condition damage.

The pet, that is what I was mixing the stuff up.
I think I tested with my pet and assume it would count as a regular ally.

I’m almost sure it is based on ranger’s condition.

PvE ranger is only relevant as healer/support on raids, and for that you go either Zealot/Magi or Apoth/Cleric if you want to be healer/tank (not really recommended) or the good old zerker.
Cond ranger is out performed by burnzerker by a good margin , but the old a/t cond build works well with viper for raid.

For PvP, well … Anet will change amulets soon, so we better wait and see, currently Celestial is still the way to go.

You need to do the 1st HoT story step to unlock the its content, which includes the mastery system.

I use the Thermaltake Contact 21 in my i5 3570k @ 4.1GHz , it is quite cheap and pretty good, I live in Brazil so the weather is quite hot and I don’t have AC, and my system is working with Overclock for almost 3 years and it never past over 85ºC, usually it stays at ~75ºC

I can’t be sure, but apparently it is intended.
I assume that because if you need to do it in 1 season then reach diamond will be required for the backpiece and seems that the Anet goal is that anyone can get the backpiece, but if you are good you can get it faster (if you reach legend you can get in 2 seasons, if you reach diamond in 3, ruby in 4 and so on).

Seens that you don’t need to cross in 1 PvP season.
But yeah, it is correct, you crossed 1 for the Path 1 and then you crossed 1 while in Path 2 you need to reach ruby to be 2/2 on Path 2 and for Path 3 you’ll be 0/3

There is also the fact that the June 2015 patch increased DPS (both power and condi) by a exponential amount… essentially allowing teams to “out dps” all the more difficult counters by Teq (when last have you seen Teq even get a chance to raise his bone walls on a full map ?).

I agree, but even before that it was already easy because players knowing the mechanics, later they allowed crit and doubled Teq’s HP but the end result was making it even easier.

Teq isn’t easy, the thing is that players after a good while, learned all the mechanics and how to overcome it.
Have you tried Teq when it was released? It was brutal.
I expect Shatter to be about as hard as Teq. and also as rewarding.

Sure you’ll be able, I guarantee it.
The problem is when it will comeback, that no one can tell.

Dragon hunter (guardian elite spec) fits your needs pretty well.
LB+GS is a good combo, they are good in PvE and PvP and I personally like heavy armor classes.

Ranger is pretty good in PvP, but not with LB+GS combo, but as Druid with Staff+LB or GS works nicely.

You would need much more than that.
GW2 in multiple screen is still just 1 GW2 instance.
Browser open barely consume CPU.
Netflix/Youtube consumes more RAM than CPU, so you would still be fine.

By “multi tasking in a big way” he meant something like, play GW2 while rendering a video while talking on TS and streaming all that on Twitch

Anet made it pretty clear that the Festive Imbuer would be the only one that could be done after wintersday.

Complementing what Konig Des Todes said, the difference from Greek and Roman military and the Charr military is that in Charr army there is a good mix of males and females so in a practical point of view, homosexuality doesn’t offer much advantage.
Sure there may have cases, but they don’t have the incentive or necessity the Greeks and Romans had.

The closest thing that existed was a bug that involved an exploit from tonic that had no CD time to stack auras, other effects, like footfalls, didn’t work.

By my understanding soulbound items are “non-bag” items.

700 per slot is too high , 400~500 would be more reasonable.

Every item effect is only active when you have it active, if you have Frostfang only as 2nd set, then you won’t have its effects, that is how every item works, if you have a torch in your 2nd set, you won’t have the ambient glow when you have the greatsword equipped , why would this be different?
Imagine if you had Frosfang and Twilight in set 1 and 2, both effects would stack?

Also, make sure that the members are part of a team, in the Guild UI there is a tab to form teams, otherwise the matches won’t count.

The candy cane achieve is new, so we don’t know for sure, but based on other achievements, it does not carry.

They have different slots in it, offensive/defensive/utility and as you mentioned, the last one is a great amulet that you can select the stats (Viper included), so it seems ok imo.

That is how the story rewards works, the 1st part of the LS2 gave Nomad’s trinkets, the 2nd part Sinister, the next LS will probably give another stat.

Ok … still 10 hours non stop daily of JP for 28 days, it is too hardcore to my comprehension :P

That is around 286 times a day, ~12 runs per hour, so 1 run every 5 mins.

Like, I’m on ruby, so I need to cross 3 more divisions and those divisions will be Amber > Emerald, Emerald > Sapphire and Sapphire > Ruby of League 2 and then in League 3 and 4 I may get only up to sapphire and also end the Year of the Ascension IV

Yup, what you described is a MOBA and some RTSs

• Multiplayer
• Only PvP
• Constantly balancing
• High skill ceiling
• Easy to get into
• Fast-paced reaction based gameplay (RTS lacks this point)
