The glow goes insanely well with your skin and clothing set. The dyes on the shoulder piece and the bottom seem mismatched, though.

D/D 0|30|30|10|0, is very reliable and effective, might not be ran as much as d/p but is just as effective atleast. the thing is d/d usally require you to be a bit more competent in the fight.
The role of a thief in a zerg fight, is to hunt down the glass staff eles, and glass range rangers. that stands a bit out of their zerg.
I think auesis will be a better option than randomfightfan. even if both is good
Well, thief is stronger at roaming and can kill more foes alone than a mesmer, however thief got 2 counters, Tanky condtion engineers, and d/d eles. of course you can beat these but then you will often end up having 15 + minute duels if you are skilled. mesmer is more versatile at all sitations, but isnt as strong as thief in general roaming. as a general thief backstab takes 40-70 % hp on a foe for a roaming build.
You can also run up on the side of your oppnent,or cloak on pets/illusions/Minons/thieves/turrets/elemtals and such.

D/D is still competly viable and just as good as d/p. The meta is d/d and d/p, condtions are useless in wvwvw really.
Swords are medium size weapons, its like the heaviest thief shuld be able to wield, it could be like the warriors hammer the heaviest they can wield.

Offhand Sword fits Ranger more than it fits Thief. Thief needs, in the following order:

Claws
Whip
OH Light buff

Nah, I don’t think so. This isn’t WoW, it doesn’t really make a lot of sense for a Thief to fight with 2 swords. Thieves really shouldn’t get any ‘heavy’ weapons for their offhand, because it just makes the light weapon style very awkward (D/S? no). The weapons listed above would fit the Thief much better, and I’d be willing to bet the majority of Thief players would agree.
Would I complain necessarily Thieves getting it? I think it’d be silly if they got it and Rangers didn’t, but otherwise no I just think all professions need more weapon combos.
Also, a swashbuckler would use a Sword and a Buckler, not 2 Swords. Geez man.

Well auesis, nice ideas but for dual swords i think thief is in desperate need of attacks that hit a lot times that actually works compared to the crap of pistolwhip XD as thieves has few skills that scales in damage becuse they hit so frecently. we would need that type of attacks, like ranger warhorn 4, hb, rapid fire and such.

And btw that parry/blurry, you will have to block first to get the blurry, and the blurry is only a half second, usefull for dodging if you have zero endurance and a strong skill comes towards you.
Skill 5 would be useful for closing gaps and do jumps that you cant jump, which you need rocketboots/rtl/faith leap/savage leaps and such, thief which is a moblity proffesion would need this.
Well, at skill 3 sword, we thieves are in deep need of hits which hits many hits in short time, due to damage scaling when you hit many hits, and this becomes our damage skill and i feel no root is enough to make up for having no addtional effect.
Pistol 3, Well we have no other sets than 1 with more than 2 condtions so that isnt that big of an issue, it would also incourage weaponswapping.
skill 3 dagger, well i tought it to be like a super moblity set, you can for example to nice combos like lets say you fight on two cliifs you jump to the other cliff and pull him down, you would be able to like jump across the field, control where you want your foes, easy to close gaps to and such.

You also burn iniative dani. you will have iniative left to maybe 1 unload, which really is easly countered by a block/evade or such skill.
You know unload is super easy to dodge right? and you cant substain unload, you will end up having to use the useless vital shot, and you also got the usekitten dy shot, a bad autoattack and a bad second skill is UNPLAYBLE

Hello guys, im Thokir Deatbolt in the game, im maining a thief and i rolled a thief for the cause of the really nice skills and due to being the rogue, unfortunatly i got dissapointed by one thing, and that is that thief dont got offhand sword, however i trust arenanet to implent it once, and when i read that anet was going to give all weapons to all classes i tought oh god my prayers have been heard (XDD) So i tought, hey why not come with suggestions for arenanet to help them out implent my dream weapon, and to you QQers about thieves, this will be a win for you too, less dagger thieves.
Offhand sword:
4. Swift parry (chain)
same mechanic as spear 3, but after you have blocked a skill instead of counter attacking you get aviable a blurry for a half second, blurry cost 2 iniative.

5. Leap of shadows, leap to a targeted position (700 range), then be able to teleport back in a time frame of 10 seconds, 1200 range return, functions like portal not shadowtrap. (4 and 2 iniative)

3. Deathly strikes (ment for making thief more viable in fighting groups)
Deals 75 % damage of hundred blades, 5 iniative increases with 1 iniative cost for using this skill after you used that, so this will encourage to use more skills, you cant like spam it becuse the you end up at 10 iniative cost like… no root, same duration as hb. (weaker version becuse it got no recharge and no root)

1. No, thief is strongest at single target, warrior is better at self buffing, there is a reason they ran 2 thieves in the new cof world record. aside from clusterbomb, however warrior can clear groups faster, thief got better single target damage thats just how it is buddy.

Well, the problem with increasing the revealed duration as the onew which actually play thief, well outside of stealth thief has no damage attacks for example d/d there is our only option heartseeker, and the awful condtion death blossom and a interupt, how do you think thief shall behave?! autoattack? XD No, not before you increase our viablity outside of stealth as our ONLY viable build outside stealth is s/d 3 spam..
