NSP does have this problem of glitching through the gate. Just yesterday when retaking our eb keep, I glitched through the inner gate that faces our spawn for no reason. 2 other NSP also got through with me at roughly the same time and we have no idea how we got through. We were pvding at that time so thr was no defenders to atk us and we juz stayed on the gate. I believe I have one ss of that somewhr

Yes and its very disappointing. We are already at a disadvantage as far as numbers game goes. But not being able to upgrade 2 of our towers makes it that much tougher. O well looks like we have accepted the challenge anyway
Ya there was a similar fight at SBI garri, maybe you were not there. We had very few people on SBI BL, when BP started taking everything. Got some people to BL finally, but you still outnumbered us. Inner door was down, you were all in the lord’s room. Then a zerg of NSP came in (smart people, interesting tactic., They do that a lot and are working with everything at their disposal- gj NSP)- about the same size as our own. We had to fight both of you off and it lasted about an hour. In the lord’s room. I would like to commend BP and NSP for some great fights. I personally would not dream of coming on here to belittle the hard work of your servers unlike you, it was a great effort and great fun. I am sure all three servers had some great fights. You attacked us at garri about five or six times and each time we held you off. See how that works, Noodica? Some you win, some you lose.
Your message does not surprise me though, coming from a BP commander. You are a tacky lot. Your server should feel embarrassed by you specifically and a lot of your other commanders.
I was wondering if anyone was going to mention that fight. It was pretty epic. Going to the top was not our finest idea, but the combat in lords room was very interesting. You could see all 3 servers stop in respective corners to try and map out the best course of action. I was impressed with the Os commanders and how well they were assessing certain situations. Even the open field fights were a lot of fun. Unfortunately an attempt on our Bay and Hills required us to back off and support our own defense. I will be rolling with my small crew tonight, hopefully we can find a fight or 2 with about = numbers.
I know our EU commanders on NSP are getting worn down, Putting in lots of hours defending against the BP and IOJ zergs. Judging from what I can see on the maps while I am at work, they seem to be doing well. Whisper Smitry and he would be able to give you a rundown on the NSP EU crew. We don’t have a public TS but do have a public Vent server.
Random thought, Remove the doors, guards, and the ability to cap SM. Leave the destructible walls, ability to place siege, and the castle itself. Let people use it as a massive battleground….
Had a cool fight today with some sbi guild Kiwi and another guild SOLO. They lose the first 3 fights with 4 ppl, so they bring more and more and more. Then when they score a kill they just dance and jump up and down. These kind of garbage players remind me of DR.
Your not used to this by now? Firs rule of WvW. If at first you don’t succeed, Come back with bigger numbers. When success is achieved, celebrate your win with cheers and beers! (maybe a teabag or 2)
I would like to thank all of the NSP guilds for their efforts last week! We were matched against DH and IoJ, both servers having an upper hand with coverage, yet we never gave up, and prevailed! Congratulations to all of NSP, well deserved victory (especially after all the anti-NSP forum comments)

Juz to clear things up, NSP probably has the least number of players out of the 3 servers. So if u think outmanned is ur ally, think again. As one NSP player said, u guys merely adopted the outmanned buff, NSP was born and raised in it. And that means we are gonna give u guys hell since we don’t have repair bills to worry about
Cant read this without that voice in my head!!!! But this week is the first time Ive had 50ish people following my tag, and still had the outmanned buff.
Well this is going to be a very tough week for us, But I do hope to see our guilds push hard and do all we can to hold what we can. NSP doesn’t have the manpower but I believe those that are dedicated have the heart to go in and fight. Thanks for showing me some great siege placement Green!!!! I expect we will learn a great deal from both servers.
I think it’s fair to say Ioj didn’t appear to focus on NSP as much as they did last week. Doesn’t matter if it was because of an alliance, truce, Dh was the bigger threat, Dragon Bash week was ending, whatever…It’s only fair to recognize they hit us harder last week than they did this match.

Would things have been different if they had? Would everyone have had as much fun? dunno but someone else will surely nerd-rage here in a second and say “We totally could have would have should have kicked the kitten out of lame ol’ NSP’s kitten” so whatever.
Anet has a sick sense of humor so we’ll probably see you again in a few hours vs Bp. Will Ioj have the same strategy since Bp is the “bigger threat”?
I was thinking AR over BP. Either way, NSP will see if any of the fair weather players will have the heart to try and stick it out with either of those servers.
IOJ had a great deal to do with the NSP win this week. I know most of the commanders that are friends with Bird did agree to leave IOJ alone. In fact I didn’t set foot in their BL or their side of EB all week. I did get some fun fight with them on DH BL though! Despite what some may think and say IOJ had much more to do with the NSP win that most will understand or admit. It also allowed NSP to gain far more points for ranking up simply because we didn’t have to deal with IOJ hardly at all for 3 days. By hitting the highest ranked server we were able to gain more points than we did last week getting the gap with IOJ 10 points closer (so far).
Combining three of the weakest servers (Vabbi + Fissure of Woe + Blacktide) would give them better population. And implementing Winner goes Up and Loser goes Down (WULD) would give fair match ups at least every 2nd week. If Americans oppose this so much, let’s just try it in EU. Now many people are forced to either:
- be on the losing side and being facerolled for 6+ months (e.g. Desolation hasn’t won a single match up this year)
- change server (we lost lots of guilds, only individual players have returned usually because they really value how good players we still got)
Hate to point this out, But if you combined the 3 lowest servers, and only those 3 you would end up with 1 server without a matchup every week. NA would have 20 servers and EU would have 25 servers.
Well good fight’s this week DH/NSP, it would seem that our server has gotten a bit of confidence since winning our matchup a few weeks ago(one we should have absolutely won, we did nothing special), and sad to say but the confidence is not well deserved at this point. I’ve stayed away from the thread mostly this week (minus the 10 man DH team chasing me thru lake for almost 10 minutes, but that was just pure fun lol) and ive seen us talk a whole bunch, but as a whole we have’nt backed it up in the least. Hopefully this week we get rofl stomped and it brings the majority of our server back to reality. Good fight’s and maybe we will see each other again (DH we know we will, dunno what we did in past live’s but were trapped togeather apparently lol). Hat’s off to everyone and good fights from the [HARD] guild and me!
Speaking of, I have seen a lot of numbers and good orgainization out of Abys and SE guilds, But HARD gave my little 5 man group a good fight last night. Good use of CC’s targeting, and perfect timing at the NSP southernmost camp last night. Even had we not been finishing up a a small IOJ group at the time you guys got there, we would still have lost that fight. Was a lot of fun and will push me to make myself stronger as well as my guild.
All we really need would be a 15-20 man night crew(oceanic) and we would be good. Our kick ads morning crew could go on full offensive instead of spending a few hours recapping everything.
I disagree, We could really use a 30-40 man prime time guild, or a couple of 20 mans that could be offensive on enemy Borderlands. Currently we can fill our BL and EB. But we need to come close to filling at least 2 of the other Borderlands.
NSP, your response time has greatly improved I’ll agree with that. Like I said you guys have made this week interesting and I thank you for that.
Abys gives me pause when I see more than 1 in an encounter. You guys have me rethinking my strategies. Nice fun fights for sure. Usually ending with me dead on the floor.

Considering IoJ went for our keep and our towers yesterday, and NSP went after a couple of IoJ’s towers, I don’t think that many people in-game really care about the “alliance.” :P
NSP’s commanders are just doing what they feel is right at the time. Also, I think some of our commanders just like giving DH kitten. xD
I think most of the commanders I know are honoring the agreement Bird made purely out of respect for Bird. Granted I’m not familiar with all of the commanders either. So many blue doritos!!!!!
NSP definitely needs some more people that listen and follow commanders.
Os is really the only organized guild I’ve seen here. But a few of us have been keeping home pretty locked down until we get out numbered by organized groups.
I feel invisible…. Then again I have been trying to run my thief with a small NOOB force a lot lately. Stealth for the win!
But really there are several guilds that despite their size are organized. Some may field 3-5 but are working closely with other guilds to do the small things that matter. Rather than just running in the Zerg. I think NOOB had 8 people and due to communication with Os, was able to hold down the bay side of the map all night long after reset. This week was the first time I’ve woken up and found the NOOB flag flying over Bay the Saturday morning after reset. Bots did the same on the Hills side of the map. This is just an example. The NSC hosts meetings every week to discuss the things they notice servers doing, counter strats, and plans for the coming week. All NSP guilds are welcome to join and organize with us.
Man I am seeing a lot of IOJ flipping camps in the NSP BL over the last couple of days. How often are you guys seeing NSP flipping camps or taking towers in your BL? Wondering how many NSP are actually trying to respect the deal Bird made.
Not everyone knows, and there are randoms that just camp flip, NSP takes camps a lot from us still and we just recap, they took briar a few times as well but we just recap. Most of us that know are staying far away from your BL and just sticking to DH BL, IoJ BL and EB. We all knew that you cant control camp flips, impossible to tell everyone on the server to not do it, even if you could trolls would do it just to be trolls.
Good deal. I know not everyone is even aware of the deal he made. Just glad to look and see that despite 3 camps in our BL currently held that there is nothing that NSP holds in the IOJ borderlands. Think the word spread quick and far on NSP.

This is how I interpreted it. However I am not opposed to taking IOJ held towers / Keeps / Camps in DH borderlands or their side of EB. I would also consider any IOJ in NSP boderlands KOS, vise versa. Seems logical to me.
I expect to but heads in both aspects, and expect pugs who either don’t agree to terms or are unaware to infringe.

Always had a strong weekend force, weekdays you guys do seem to tapper off.
Weekdays are work and school days. Personally I get 2 hours during the weekdays. Id be willing to bet a good majority of our organized WvW guilds have the same problem. Hopefully with school out we will see more daytime and weekday play from the school kids.
I think all of NSP has enjoyed this matchup. Sad to see it come to an end personally. I know my little group of misfits has had a great time. No more tiers = crazy fights that don’t get stale.

Beer, they made the smart move. Their BL was all paper and there was no point for them to fight us there. They pulled us out of their BL so they can retake it with a smaller team. They almost capped ou Garr and Hill. I still wonder where you guys found all the supply for all those golems that quickly or were they at your spawn waiting for an assault?

I could have sworn I said it was smart. I did notice that the last time we took “longview” NW tower? that they suddenly had far fewer defenders. I figure this was about 20 mins to half and hour before you and I ported to our Garrison. My favorite part of the night was the poor NSP mezmer that ended up spending an hour and a half waiting in bay for us to come back and port in. Does anyone have his/her name still?
Ok so I have seen someone around here with the signature “Baghaven”. Last night proved that so very true. Thank you guys so much! Don’t get me wrong, you guys were outnumbered and were fighting the most organized WvW crew on NSP last night. You put up a good fight and were very smart to hit our BL to allow others to take back what we had stolen in your BL. I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to actually make some coin in WvW rather than just loose it.
It was fun in DH BL yesterday night and also nice job NSP when we saved both our garr and hill In extremis. Thanks to everyone that were there.
I was able to port into our garrison lord room before sword appeared and was pretty much all alone when I saw inner gate literally melting(among the fastest I ever seen). You guys had me scared a little then.

I will say this. NSP doesn’t play for second. Period. We play to have fun. Its a game….
Secondly many of our guilds are looking at this http://mos.millenium.org/na and not the green, blue, red numbers when you press “B”. Now that the matchup system has changed the millenium numbers are becoming far more meaningful. Lastly, I keep thinking of AR, BP, GoM double teaming us. Wouldn’t be the first time, won’t be the last.
