1 week fighting 2 server every day on our Bl because GoM dont go to DR and DR dont go GoM broke the moral of NSP and they go farm legendary,like this morning again lost everything to GoM then GoM dont go to DR Bl same on EB.I wish next week will be WvWvW not 2 server vs 1…

I was watching the map from work yesterday, GoM did hit DR pretty hard in their BL. With the split between DR and GOM its very possible DR wants to secure 2nd place as well so they don’t get sent Down to T8 in a week and a half. I don’t blame DR. Points are points… if they come easy you better take advantage of it….

Got word last night 2 guilds have decided to transfer. Some may have already transferred. NSP is getting hit with a bad bout of burnout. Lots of things factoring into it. Will see what things look like after this coming weekend. Hopefully GoM BL wont be unplayable and we can get some moral back up. Win or loose T,1 or T8…. I <3 NSP!!!

1) badges are kitten easy to get on high tiers, this is so you can buy lots of siege.
2) waaaay too many people are stuffed senseless with badges and are too selfish too buy lots of siege and want rewards for themselves, aka ascended items.

NOOB had a good time in EB and later in the NSP BL. So tired… just not going to be able to take that last tower from the well organized DR group holding it. Hats off to ya!

Mana even if new maps were implemented it would be a lot of work for a short duration maps don’t really change the inherent gameplay which is what it seems a lot of people find stale new maps will require new maps in the future when the released maps get stale maps just turn into cyclical production and for the effort put in for something like wvw it int the best

This is exactly why I propose giving players a, much needed, greater reward system in WvW. Give the hard core WvW guilds something similar to the living story to actively work on WHILE they are supporting their server in WvW. At the same time it will potentially bring in PVE players. In turn, even those players who’s first WvW experience was horrible in there minds will have the opportunity to see these hardcore guilds in action. I would highly suspect that they would either join such a guild, or even organize their own guilds to participate. As things stand right now so many don’t do WvW simply because there is no real monetary reward.

Trying to make new maps, doesn’t fix the current problems. It only puts a band-aid on it that will eventually get just as stale as the current maps. Just like they do when companies release a new FPS maps. Only real solid fixes I can see at the moment is to give players a monetary reason to participate in WvW, and to fix the match ups so that servers don’t get stuck in the black hole that Glicko is becoming.

I see so much put into the PVE Living story stuff, and a lot of it is fun and in some cases profitable. But at the same time servers like NSP who do not have a large hardcore WvW population suffer from this. I for one would like to see the living world come to WvW, to bring in those who haven’t experienced WvW.

I don’t know how many times I have seen in map chat “WvW Sux! It’s nothing but a gold sink”. Because people either went in a couple of times and got steamrolled by a zerg, and had to fix their armor. Or because they spent 5 hours and lost 3 gold buying siege and such to actually try to make a difference, yet got nothing in monetary return. I think if Anet would put more emphasis on putting equal reward in WvW as they do in PVE some of these people might be willing to give it a try. This could also potentially make what was a supposed “low population” server into a “high population” server without even a single transfer.

Just my random thought.

I was just saying last night how I’ve never seen a successful Watergate siege. Nice to know people are doing it! I always thought it would be a lot of fun to try.

Ive seen a few, Last night due to their AC placement we were never going to make it in via Watergate, Had to go in from the NW wall. They didn’t have enough siege on that side so we were able to take it back in 20-30 mins. I was glad to see they didn’t give up though. Made for a great fight.

You forget Commanders who only lead their own guild members. Everyone should have an equal opportunity to do so. Be it a small group commander or a pug commander. If anything I would like to see either a toggle or a separate tag for those of us who could care less about commanding pugs, but only want to command guildies. I would be happy if only other commanders and my guild members could see me tagged up.

To be honest though, saying only certain people should be able to be a commander is pretty elitist. Even seasoned commanders make mistakes or misjudge a situation. The only real way to learn is trial by fire. Have some patience, give people time to learn, and by all means send suggestions and offer to help teach those that are new or are making newbie mistakes.

We have always had a problem getting people out of PVE. Then there are those like myself who are casual players trying to work for a living. Hoping this summer we can get more of the younger crowd into WvW. Right now its just depressing trying to get them to do anything other than temple zerg or Dungeon farms.

Cant say id enjoy being T3+ I hear too many nightmare story’s of skill lag and “blobs”. I enjoy the small – med groups that allow you to show off your group and individual skill. T1 just sounds like a nightmare.

It’s worth mentioning that NSP also has a super strong PVE community, probably the biggest in NA outside of TC. Tons of ppl guest to our server for Orr temple runs.

This is not a joke. Nightly, very organized, temple runs that happen like clockwork. Only downside is that guesting has been known to cause the map to go into overflow, and the boss fights tend to drop high end computers to 4fps.

NSP small man action is great, especially in the Borderlands. We also have several small guilds who work closely with each other and some of the larger guilds when the zerging gets bad.

We don’t run 10+ to fight disorganized groups. We run 10+ to fight organized guild groups that can run 10-30 deep. We are not here to entertain you. We are here to entertain ourselves. If you can’t compete with us on that level, tough kitten.

You’ll hardly find this in our tier then. For example, you spent your time fighting pugs last evening in our borderland. We had no orgnaisation, no voice chat to coordinate attacks and focus fire any of you. But this defeat forced us to face our weaknesses as a server. Map chat was really interesting to read after the first wipe.

Anyway, that was a fun challenge to survive you all. I even had a chance to carebear with one of your ele on the bridge just before you charged to take the tower. I think we could be friends.

The organization in EB was worse last night… Had a few commanders pop in though just after GoM flipped our keep and did their best to help get things back together though. If NSP ever gets completely organized…. Things will be very different for our server.

How many times did you turn the Quintin Lake walls to Swiss cheese tonight? Fun fight, lots of bags, and hopefully it opened some eyes to things that need to change.

GoM has something that irritates the crap out of many NPS guilds. Its call TCMM. We resent they way they treated our server just before they left. Many will actively try to hunt them down. And most of the organized guilds consider them KOS.

Now this only plays a minor part in things. GoM has shown a very healthy presence this week. If we were to allow them to push on DR who has the highest over all points, it would serve to only push NPS down farther. Makes sense to hurt GoM as badly as we can, and pick off what points we can from DR while we are at it.

Now if DR were to allow GoM to keep the lead it would only serve to cause them to have a major overall point drop, keeping them from bieng able to be bumped back up into T6. Again, it makes sense for them to try and get the weekly point lead back from GoM. They cant allow GoM to get a foothold in other teams borderlands either.

Just the rambling thoughts of a Mad Char who drinks to much beer. Not an official statement from NSP or Anyone else.

Thanks to the GoM and DR groups in the DR Borderlands for helping me teach my small group a few lessons tonight. NOOB might actually end up with a half decent Squad after all

3-5 man teams: Some people are a little bit selfless and choose not to help their server I guess.

Lower tier fighting: can your guild leader have 20-30 people on him and out of a 45 min non stop battle (using siege, terrain, flanking, stealth, quick reaction) wipe a non stop 60 man force (T3 Yaks bend)? Which by the way was so much fun, and so many loot bags !

Can your commanders, while outnumbered, wipe away or even push back enemy zergs in T2?

Have any idea how much teamwork and organization this takes? Well not as much as lower tiers need I’ll say that much.

We probably can actually and ya know what we keep getting better

Well OS has impressed me when RE faced you in the past, we have a mutual respect and good raport with eachother anyway lol Although RE’s open field battle has evolved a lot since our DH, early KN days till now.

Having fought along side Os for the last few months on a weekly basis, They have grown in leaps and bounds as far as skill and tactics are concerned. If you were impressed then I would be you would be doubly impressed now.

Had a lot of fun last night! Those buffed arrow carts hurt a lot now! To the thief that was trying to taunt my group into a 1v1 last night: Sorry, you picked the wrong group to taunt, I’ve learned I suck at PvP and just try to stick to my group objectives. Hopefully someone on NSP that had a lot more PvP skill accepted your challenge.

Yay! Siege is now account bound, and I’m going to finally start getting wxp for being a supportive player! Looks like WvW got even more interesting to me!
