Some people on Nsp really need to L2P. I logged for some early wvw, and I was immediately greeted by like 5 nsp in the water camp. Didn’t even attack any npcs before I was spotted. I didn’t even have time to get a single kitten stack going. Victory is certain, but some of you are still guarding your fully upgraded camps. Why? Honestly, do you not know there’s PvE to farm? I bet you Wvw try-hards don’t even have your balloon yet.

Currently at work so I wasn’t there but I have a couple of questions. What is a balloon? Why do I need a balloon? Sorry but this post makes me chuckle L2P PVE NSP!!! STOP ROLLING INNOCENT WVW PLAYERS TRYING TO ROAM AND FLIP CAMPS!

Yes, they do care. But unfortunately priorities at ArenaNet go beyond the scope of WvW, so the WvW team is probably smaller than most and have to focus on certain projects at a time. I would guess also that they have to share programmers with other teams involved in more than WvW.

Comes down to population. Fewer people populate sPvP or WvWvW than people who populate PVE. I would love to see WvW get some major attention, but I don’t see this coming for quite some time. (I figure Feb of 2014 at the earliest since the holiday’s are coming up soon) Unfortunately companies have to work on what makes money at the time its making it. As long as people keep spending gems on PVE items, PVE will be the primary focus.

I hope Anet fixes the tower gates soon. At least 3 NSP glitch through the Sunyhills gate in ET borderlands while I was defending it alone last night. I have respect for the [Os] Major that immediately ran up the stairs and left the tower. Not much respect for the other two that took advantage of the glitch.

As a player on NSP who cares out about our community, please SS and report any NSP you see abusing this glitch! thanks to the Os member who did the right thing!

I don’t think I have ever see the EB map with this much NSP owned teritory…. ET has 1 camp in EB with about 1 min timer on the RI, and NSP owns the rest. The new content must be having a massive effect HoD and ET this week.

Ok looking at the map on Mellinium. Smitry would be proud of our morning / early day crew!!!

Bah, when my guildie can start working on the new content at 9am this morning, and by 12pm has made 13 gold, Something is wrong. I don’t even want to WvW now because I know if I do ill loose out on potential gains I will need later.

Anet, Why can’t those of us who are focused on WvW get equal gains? Why do we have to PVE to make any kind of real monitory gain?

We have seen this on NSP. Players will grab a golem, walk it off a cliff and kill it. Grab another, rinse repeat. We have had reports of people who have multiple accounts on other servers.

Best option is to take kitten and go to https://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/ask/
Give anet the screenshots, timestamp, and ever bit of information you can think of. Choose “Violation Report” and report them as griefers.

Et doesnt seem to have the issues with numbers that people have complained about I watched a 30+ man zerg on at a time when neither of the other 2 servers had 10 on the map. The ET zerg managed to take 1 tower and 2 camps and then lost them within 10 mins. This ET zerg spent at least 15 mins chasing our 3 man XOXO group around and failing to log any kills and getting us 20 stacks on our sigils. They chose to chase u instead of taking an unguarded Bay.

The more I play against ET the more I realize it isn’t solely a numbers issue. Running from even number fights, chasing small groups with 30 man zergs, and making no effort to use their players in an efficient manner to gain more points.

Your server could have twice its current population and without upgrading the quality of players you will always be bottom bracket server.

As it stands right now:

ET +50 Glicko
NSP – 25 Glicko

ET predicted to move up to grand ole rank #22 and NSP predicted to rank down to #17. Things that make you go…..hmmmmmmmmmm…..

If its PPT your after, I think you guys need to step up your game. We are running quite efficiently with what we have. According to Glicko we are handing you your kitten this matchup thus far.

Or when attacking a tower, people run off to take a camp without dropping their supply into siege first. Especially when I didn’t even want to take the camp until after a cap…

Your not going to find a server in the bottom 15 that is also ranked higher than you that will keep you from gaining points. Not without 1 or both servers keeping constant pressure on you. NSP was in the same boat months ago. If you can hold your BL most of the time, and keep your side of EB, nothing is going to stop it. However if both servers decided that they wanted to hold all of your territory and keep constant pressure on you that could change. TBH though neither HoD or NSP has the coverage to do that.

I’m pretty sure that most servers would have trouble if both of their opponents worked together to go after them simultaneously.

At any rate, ET has been at #24 for quite a while. If we’re moving up, that’s progress. Even so, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we have work to do.

I like the fight with ET so far. HoD has the numbers, but ET has show much better response times and siege placement IMO. This is coming from what I have seen in the ET borderlands however, I have to be very bored to go to EB.

This week has been… interesting. What I mean by that is we have some New (ish) tags running around who feel like bigshots and are making questionable decisions. I am mostly speaking about EB, for reference. Its okay that people are learning, but the engine is running less smoothly than normal. If i were to give an opinion I would say that one of NSP’s problems is that we have WAY too many tags running around. (i have not even run for my tag for days, as it just adds to the confusion imo)

I do enjoy my server, and i think it could go far in WvW, assuming people stop talking kitten to each other and focus on killing the opponents.

HOD, as always, good fights.
ET, I was surprised by you, some good fights and one Mesmer who handed me my kitten on more than one occasion. Lesson learned. Thank you

We cheer you for wanting to fight but “MY” standing rule while I’m leading is, "you make anyone that wants to kill us “earn” the kill & you will NOT die unnecessarily unless you have Styliii’s permission"!!! If you have to chase (ZERG) 9/10’s across the map to do so you will have to do it especially with superior numbers such that you had. We enjoyed the fights with you all and this is giving my guys some much needed practice and welcome the fights. I believe we lost 2 or 3 but the rest got away on the NE camp fight. Anyway nice fights and see you out there.

Looking at the Map while I am at work. Makes me wonder how many commanders / guilds take in whats going on in other borderlands before they take action. I’m sure several do, an easy target is an easy target. I really need to quit watching, but its so addicting!

Well Friday night was good. Saturday and Sunday I didn’t do much other than stand back and watch a few fights and test a couple of little tricks a friend told me about. I came here and saw the recruiting thread and the person who said we suck (in jest I am guessing) I will respond to both.

1) I will not move my guild to another server. Win or loose we will stay and do what we can to have some fun.

2) NSP has a great deal to learn from this matchup and a chance to grow internally from it. I don’t believe NSP sucks. In fact I am proud of those who have stayed with us and stuck it out win or loose.

Won’t say I love this match up. Won’t say I dislike it either. I just hope that I get to teach my guild something new

Why PVE? Take this as a chance to get better organized and work towards having a solid group. We don’t have to “win” we just have to put up a good fight and hold whatever ground we can. NSP needs less fair weather players and more people willing to organize and better ourselves.

We’re more of a casual guild so you’ll find us running at really any time of the day, and we’re usually in other server’s border lands honestly :p

Ok if we get you guys again this week I will look for you more. I need someone to teach me how to PvP so might as well look for some good people to fight rather than trolls.

Had something simular happen to me this week. Ran across a HOD and a FC duking it out. Jumped them both and downed them both at the same time. Stomped the guy from HOD, which rallied the guy from FC. I was ready for this to happen though so I just quickly jumped back on the FC guy and was able to finish him off as well rather quickly.

Here’s the thing. I chose to stomp the HOD player first because his class had a better chance at taking me down that the guy from FC. I also made sure to put myself in stealth (yes my alt is a DD theif and its fun to play, cry about it later) so that as soon as the other guy was up I could jump over and back stab him as quick as possible. I knew this was going to happen and made sure to put some sort of strategy in place before engaging….

Personally I have no problem with the downed state. I see all the people complain about it and give reasons why. But none of it makes sense to me. The downed state was put in the game for a reason. It was a major part of the game when the beta’s I played were introduced. In fact it was one of the first things the game taught you about when facing your lvl 1 character creation boss. I loved it then, I love it now. Sucks to see so many people complain about something that is actually a fun feature of a game thats not… WoW…. Please don’t turn this into a WoW game or DAOT or whatever game you used to play with complaints that the game has a different mechanic.

Loved the small fights in FC borderlands yesterday. Even the fight at bay. We were just ramming the outer door trying to attract some attention hoping a few would come out and fight. 5 mins later the outer door is down… WHY?

I am actually having a ton of fun in this lowest tier! There are constantly skirmishes and opportunities for small-mans. I haven’t been randomly zerg-rolled all week. We are even doing better at coordinating ourselves into small teams. The fights where we are are amazing. We just need to get a few more people to show up so that we have a more consistent showing. We will come back and be better in a few months!

Thats good, For some reason I see the random roll putting either HOD or NSP up against you guys. Hope to find some good open field fights without the zerg running to kill 5 guys when a tower is threatened.

Just want to report something weird here. I was roaming in nsp borderlands a couple of hours ago when I encounter 3 bots running from the sentry between bay and garrison all the way to vale. I followed they there but they seems to just stop at a corner and do nothing.

Just a head up for the community to look out for these bots. They must be up to something.

I must take the blame for flipping FC’s borderland today. Please know thakittens nothing personal and is purely to try and salvage as much of the ranking score as I can for NSP. I purely expect FC to get upset because they have the smallest WvW population in this matchup. You do have a right to be. That being said NSP will drop several ranks if leave you alone and I for one don’t want to see that for my server. (That might be unavoidable though with our own population problems). I do want to give a shout out to the 3 Yarr members and the ranger I “tried” to fight 1 on 1 in NSP BL. I hope to get slaughtered by you again this week

HoD didn’t push up to second until this afternoon. As for gaining ratings all you had to do was holds as much ground as possible for as long as possible against higher ranked servers. If your playing lower ranked servers you have to pretty much shut them down for the whole week to keep from loosing rank points. If the 2 higher ranked servers did that the lowest ranked server would be letting us all know how unfair it is. kitten ed if you do, kitten ed if you don’t.

I typically don’t stick around after I’m dead unless there is a good chance of revive. Even then I don’t pay attention to emotes.

Everyone is obsessed with SM. It is like the light that attracts flies. also, the last time we were in last place was in may. So saying “as always” is false.

I prefer Hills to SM. Much more comfortable and less costly to defend.

Many WvW Commanders just lead their own guilds. Id rather just see the ability to have separate commander tag colors. But this topic has been beaten to death….. I hope the devs are working on something to make as many people happy as possible.
