So quick question. Is there ever a que for any part of WvW during NA prime time? I havea guild that shows up for fight nights and I haven’t totally decided to xfer us but im weighing the options. Part of my criteria is that my guild can actually make it into the zones and not be broken up all night. Can anyone hit me up in game and let me know? Mail would be the best. I don’t read forums all the time and wont check this for another week most likely.

NSP will Que EB, our BL and occasionally a third map on reset nights only. If 3 maps are queued then it means the 4th has virtually no one on it. Outside of of that occasionally during NA Prime only 1 of the 4 maps will have a queue on it, and that is actually pretty rare.

Logged in this morning to see the pre-purchase announcement. Immediately grabbed my credit card, clicked on the link, Saw the price of $50 with no character expansion slot. I’ve since put my credit card away.

I haven’t seen Devon on the server since Season 2…

But like most everyone said our population has stayed pretty stable. We had a few transfers in, just about the time we had some transfer out for 1 reason or another. Population has grown a bit, but not by as much as some would think. Still in a desperate need of OCX and SEA to be competitive in T3. Still competitive in my opinion during NA prime however.

Suggestion 4: Loot Chests for Defending (and more)

Something else than a WvW reward track. Give us loot chests for capping points (camps/towers/keeps/garrisons), defending points, killing enemy players and the server’s points per tick (PPT).
Defending points should give you more rewards than capping new points and I think the amount of rewards you get for defending a point should be linked to how far that point is upgraded. Defending a tier 3 tower should give you more rewards than defending a tier 1 keep.
At the same time capping a tier 3 point should also give you more rewards than capping a tier 1 point. However, to discourage players from just camping at one keep, the points per tick should also reward players personally. So if you’d just camp out at 1 spot and let the enemies take everything else you’ll obviously lose out, a lot.

What do you guys think?

Seems like something similar to this has been in testing… Silverwastes towers reward you for defending. Why couldn’t WvW reward you in a similar manner?

If NSP and IoJ recruited to reach the size of FA/SoS/DB/YB, that’d likely imbalance a lot of other tiers. Perhaps it’s just because I’m on NSP, but I think the real solution is for one of those 4 to decide it’s dropping to T3 and send a couple guilds to each of NSP and IoJ.

But given that has approximately a 0% chance of happening, I won’t hold my breath.

We can dream though right? I wouldn’t mind seeing a SEA guild or 2….

T3 is pretty messed up right now. You can choose a stacked server, or one of 2 servers that are getting blown out every week. Not much fun either way around unless you enjoy being the underdog and fighting overwhelming odds. Oddly enough I enjoy the self abuse on NSP

Don’t spec into Siege Golems unless you’re running with a WvW guild too. You’ll almost never get the chance to drive one if you’re a WvW casual like me.

Get traveler runes, Transfer to NSP and jump on teamspeak. Were always needing golem drivers w/ runes.

I guess I’m not getting 1 shot because I don’t wear zerker armor? I keep seeing people complain about mobs 1 shoting them. Yet I have not experienced this with any of the content over the last month.

Balance the servers, balance the EotM. In other words, your SOL…. Hate that its so unbalanced? Convince the band-wagoners, and server stackers to transfer.

Better idea, Switch red and green’s colors on the EB map up.

I think there are some pretty good ideas here that could be taken to the table.

A lot of people argue that this will be negative because servers will loose their identity.

If one of the tags is only visible to your guild I’d be very happy Guild only tags would be great for guilds that are scrimming and it wouldn’t attract non-guild members to the guild because they wouldn’t know other than the swords that would pop. The different colors are awesome as is the account wide tags but it’s something that probably should have happened a long time ago :T

I would like that too, but at least with colors a server community can decide and agree on such details. IE Yellow for pug commander, Blue for Guild group, Purple for Havac Squad…

I’m not going to pay 300g for a tag color. I have a hard enough time making any gold at all.

Anyway yes every server is recruiting OCX and NSP is no exception. Would love to have some new faces willing to accept a challenge! Birdsong will even bake cookies if slap him around enough!

As a member of NSP since pre-release. I wouldn’t consider moving to any other server. I get a little bit of everything on NSP. It’s not always a ray of sunshine when we are matched up against the higher ranked silver servers… but WvW isn’t all about PPT to me. I just want a good fight, and cold beer

This actually bothers me to a degree… Where is the direction of this company going?
