Please take a look at the bugs threads. Reports of crashing everywhere. Anet should have received lots of crash reports by now. Submitted 3 in row during AB.

Too bad about all the crashing because of the patch though. Hopefully a fix is out soon.

I believe you can add fractals too.

These crashes seem to be game wide since the patch. Crash reports coming in from many different areas of the game.

Yep. crashing continually during octovine now. 3 crashes in a row while at south, was able to back 2xs but 3rd time didn’t make it and lost all

Not doing anything wrong it’s the way it is. Wait until you get all your masteries and you get nothing for exp.

I was in an AB that failed twice in a row in one day using the zerg model. The problem comes in at the end when the final burn is uncoordinated and somebody accidentally pops their vine (many times the zerg itself does this by failing to stop their burn in time).

This leaves 3 undermanned zones to do an emergency burn that they are unprepared for. Many times there is 5 people or less in these zones and they can’t de-slime fast enough to get the final burn done.

I think once the vines get down to 10% the zerg needs to dissipate.

I never had a problem pre-zerg with AB.

Edit: Also it should be made clear that the difficult zones should burn first; my order:

- South bombs
- North herbacide
- East air bombs
- West mushrooms

You’ve been lucky if you’ve never seen a failed defense of Tarir. Like others, I’ve yet to see it fail because of zerging — it has always been because people didn’t understand how it works (including people in the zerg, of course).

Again, I’m not saying it shouldn’t change. I’m just saying it’s not as big a problem as people perceive it to be — there are many other things I’d prefer to see changed about HoT meta events before addressing this.

Well having it fail is pretty easy. All it takes is one person at east doing bad things …

Actually it’s peeps using Armors (i.e. don’t have a clue how to use them) in my experience.
Run around once, hit all the vines then split up, read chat to see what lane needs more people , go to lane to finish. Seems simple and no need to nerf.
As mentioned, so many more areas of HoT that need to addresed 1st.

They were meant to be fun. Many people did/do find them fun. Can’t blame the devs for trying to add a bit of fun. Sorry you don’t find them fun.

You missed the point entirely, the masteries should not be behind the mini games. Play the games for fun,sure, but not to get what is required for game progression. So if you chose to play them for fun, great. To be forced to do so is another issue altogether.

Yours is the way my race works. I would say your account is fine, and for some reason hers is bugging out. Even the various youtube vids show the race like you described.
I had poison mastery before I raced, so I can’t confirm if that is reason. She could try the repair command to see if there is a problem

LOL, as if the other professions always use knockbacks properly. —It is not a ranger only problem.

Return to the play as you want key philosophy, everything is available no matter how you want/like to play. Nothing locked behind content that you don’t want to play, time gates or mini games.
Nothing like HoT again.

The Nuhoch vendor at order of whispers camp sells ley-line core weapons. I have the required mastery but can’t figure out what else I need to do to get them unlocked. I’ve googled and wiki’d but I haven’t found a clear concise answer that helps. I would appreciate any help.

Yep, you don’t seem to have completed your personal story.

Just got kicked also. I was eventually able to log back in after many tries and a long wait on the load screen. Then when I did get back on, game wasn’t working properly. Forums seem to be affected also. (very slow if you can get logged on).

Actually, I think quite the reverse. MO seems to be doing triage on the game — fixing the problems that will have the most impact and bringing us things that the most people want.

He’s brought bunny ears and SAB back. He’s pushing to get the living world rolling again. These are things that will keep the player base here / bring players back again.

There are upcoming WvW fixes — though they’ve now decided to fix things in pieces rather than trying to fix it all at once (because that was taking too long). There are also upcoming changes to fractals in about 2-3 weeks. Supposedly, HoT changes are coming too, but I don’t know if it will be in this update or not. Also, they should be finishing the first raid by putting out the third wing in a few months.

What we aren’t getting seems to be legendary weapon collections (despite being promised them), world 3 of SAB, and season 1 of living story.

All things considered, they do seem to be prioritizing what will get them the most goodwill back. No, they aren’t doing everything I would like, but they are doing good things.

As for the rest of the post regarding what may be coming, all conjecture and it will remains to be seen as to when they will arrive(if they do) and if they actually change the game for the better. It’s wait and see right now. Fingers are crossed but the only impact the game has made on me over the last year or so is to ensure that I no longer spend real money in the gem store or gem cards.

Bitdefender is notorious for its’ false positives. The free version is limited. You have much better options. If there was truly a problem you would see a flood of posts from users of all the other various Anti virus programs. Try another AV program and see.

P.S Think about this, this isn’t any different than if say they said the recent raid wing is the last one for now, the 5 man team will suspend work on the last wing and go work on the living story instead. How well do you think that would go over?

As for legendary, no big deal for me, I wouldn’t be grinding those out anyway.
That being said the announcement (brave and honest as it was)will bring into question any future announcements about game content.

What’s your favorite content? What if the team working on that content got moved to something else and your content put on indefinite hold? Would you be singing the same tune?

It would also be different if we didn’t know that they had more than 50% of their company working on the next expansion pack. Yet chose to take resources from a team working on content that was supposed to be part of the first expansion pack.

My fav has been on hold for quite some time, LS and PvE SP content. So I am glad to see then changes. However, those were just side comments.

and then I was doing target shooting, getting better, got to 29 and thought I got this on my next run. I was starting my last run and boom, time done. Game moved on. Adventures closed.
Lots of very negative language was directed towards the screen at Anet for these time gated adventures. Such a bad mechanic. I wouldn’t care if there were other options to get the mastery points that didn’t make/force these games on those that don’t like them or want them in a mmo.

You can taxi from a TD instance to another after answering the holograms that you can find. After you get to the new instance, the holograms should be interactible again as the timer resets.

Some of the locations. It’s incomplete. For example, there’s another instructor underwater to the south of the Rata Novus WP.

IThat’s the very last one on the page that was listed as bugged, but has never been updated. So I really believe they are all there.

None of this pay the same price as 1st timers pricing.

Well 1st, the expansion wasn’t full price (though near it). 2nd people who bought the original game played for hundreds and thousands of hours. If this isn’t worth the price of 60€ I don’t know…

Don’t forget that many bought gems/gem cards etc with real money as well. And got what I consider ( I am sure there are others who would agree, but I only speak for myself) a slap no matter what slant some supporters may advocate.

The best thing I got out of HoT, I can glide in the core game now.
