I would love a main hand pistol. Not sure of a legend to match it as I never played GW1 to know all the lore. Maybe from Snaff as someone suggested earlier?

Either way, I love the idea of pistol/shield that engies enjoy. Such a cool combination of weapons you don’t see elsewhere.

GW1 didn’t have pistols, guns, torches, etc, so it’s gonna be hard finding a fitting legend. Also if the pistol is released with an elite specialisation you will never be able to play pistol/shield because you can’t have 2 elite specs at the same time.

And Mallyx didnt used mace/axe set i believe. Glint wasnt using shield either.

Greatsword obviously with Artorias from Dark Souls as a legend. I know, i know..wont happen. Rifle would be also interesing choise as atm only 2 classes can use that (and on warrior it just..sux). Whatever next wep/legend is i hope to get a skill similiar to spear 5/lines of warding.

You know..that fast cast interrupt you sit on all game, but never use..use that.
Then apply that high level condition poison you have on your power build. Problem solved.

Hambow was more of a soloQ hero tbh.

Druids pack better healing and similar CC, but nowhere near the same DPS. The counters people suggest are what is generally known to hamper their ability to crap out heals, but if you want to change the game for the better (and I totally agree that the current state isn’t anywhere near acceptable), suggest tweaks rather than outright nerfs.

If your entire team is running power based builds (hard to believe) simply focus him or outrotate to the point where you outnumber him and then focus him. Druid, like every other bunker build, is just a nuisance.

Druid doesnt do much damage but the pets..espesially bristleback is just overkill. It also definitely has way more cc than hambow ever had.

I think we know what idea was behind grasp shadow but you really cant isolate anyone with 600 range pull in melee..lol

Wanna isolate someone? Engi magnet says hi. Melee pull makes no sense and either it should be changed to it old datamined 600 range version/ raised to 1200 range or simply become a knockdown in melee. That shadowstep backward is also troublesome in pve as it causes you to dps loss so you never want to use sword offhand over axe.

Another thing is that shacking wave hits like a wet noodle when it should hit as hard as debilitating slam which means 120% damage increase from current value. Its a joke that 10 energy cost skill hits for less than autoatk from staff

Just so you know..you need 60 days, not 45. Its not possible to craft these wings in this season even if you get legendary x1000

I had a diamond rev on my team.. a hammer rev. I have not seen him a single time swapping out of hammer. 3 ppl in his face, melee range and he autoattacked with hammer.. Reported for mmr tanking. Lately i run in many peeps similiar to that rev like some pu condi mes..

There’s always been a balancing issue between smaller multi hit skill’s and utilities vs the high damage modifier single hits. The single hits have always been strongest when you factor in retal and confusion.

Rapid fire proc confusion olny one time. So does hb, whirl wrath, volley and any other channeled stuff really. They also dont break on stealth bc channeled skills were supposed to be a counter to mindless stealth. It goes against game desing as seen here;

Almost no thieves play like this. Let me give you a rough outline how the average thief in spvp plays. Start the match by going to far to engage in pointless 1v1 and lose horribly to start match. Engage in as many meangingless 1v1s as possible during the match often on points the other team color that are guarded by people they can’t kill. Get involved in meaningless fights in the middle of the map off point. Get involved in big team fights and get zapped by random aoe. Cause everyone to rage with there incompetance. +1 one on side points and intelligent reading of the map to cap side points left open almost NEVER happens.

Thief community is to blame here tho. I know how average Joe plays. Most people that picked up thieves want to play it like rambo, they fail at it and screams thief sux. Good thief can be a gamechanger, i lost games and won just bc either me or my enemy had good thief that was keep decapping close/far. You basically have to let someone camp close in this situation forcing to 4v5.

What if there’s a Glint/Mallyx herald? If the reveal doesn’t get you the boon strip and strong burning and torment application will.

Works great, give it a try. If a thief running this trait i literally have to stop attacking him after i apply some heavy condition.. pair that with over the top mobility and youre golden. DD is a counter to rev

plenty of good rev players out there.. plenty of OP revs out there… then occasionally you get the one rev who looks like he’s watching reruns of the teletubbies on another monitor in ranked matches trying to cap far.

Im about to hit legendary division mostly solo/duo q and you telling me that i cant figure how rev works? Please give me a break. The olny way rev can deal with conditions is resistance on Mallyx skills that got icd now. How hard it is to strip resistance or even corrupt stability and fearchain rev right as he swaps to Mallyx? Exactly. Go duel Denshan or Nos with your mallyx rev, dont forget to record a vid for a good laugh. Obviously you wont do that as we all know how it would end. We can beat trash necro, but vs one that knows what hes doing its gg in current state.

Support has ALWAYS kept its own standards fairly secretive. We’ve been told to let support know when this is going on. Whether they will act at all, what the consequences will be, and what threshold of raw jerkishness prompts punishment is something we WILL NEVER KNOW.

The basic practical rule is in effect: if you’re afraid of Support’s scrutiny, maybe you shouldn’t do it. If you can’t self-moderate, there’s always the possibility they’ll do it for you (and to you).

Banning someone because they spoil a movie is beyond unacceptable and it should be punishable by law when it comes to game that you payed for.

If you are so destroyed by spoilers then close all chat windows and be done with it but don’t turn spoilers into the worst kittening thing you can say to people.

Shield was supposed to be defensive
Axe was supposed to be utility
Sword was supposed to be damage&control – it doesnt do it job atm.

2 reasons;

-Shacking wave hits less than autoatk and that 2sec immo doesnt do a jack vs current builds
-Graps shadow makes no sense..a pull in melee range? Plz.

Yeah, its true that it is worse version of consume conditions and thats why i would like to see it reworked. Howered look at it from the other side. It heals for nearly as much as consume and has the same cd as well but unlike necromancers we also have access to secondary healing skill.

With so many conditions flying around in this meta i have no issues to heal myself for 10k in pvp and then theres also second heal+shield 5. So yep, i do consider Mallyx healing to be best atm followed by situational Glint. Next is Jalis (that heal is a joke tbh) followed by Shiro and Ventari.

As for shield skills..lowering healing etc will make it subpar. Glint also has 0 connection to stability outside of gm trait. Shield could be reworked to remove conditions instead of healing tho.

I guess its a result of the way its coded. And if they cant fix it+breaking on stealth unlike every other channeled ability (that are supposed to counter stealth) they most likely have to make it single target.

Atm UA proc confusion 8 times. First proc happen on skill activation btw

That’s exactly why Shield should potentially be changed. It can potentially cause them to limit our legend’s heal skills.
Yea, unblockable attacks can go through it, but a lot of classes can’t take advantage of that nor is it good to force them into it for the chance of us running Shield.

How you would change the shield tho? I dont mind it as i prefer underpowered sword offhand bc look but im just curious. Also its not like we cant pair Glint with Mallyx and end up having 2 strong heals on top of shield? Am i right or not? So no, shield is not excuse to keep Shiro healing in current trash state.

Shield is not really a issue with many unblockable effects let it be daze from dh trap, necro staff or even another revenant. What should be toned down and reworked toohowered is Mallyx heal as it uses old desing and its just a worse version of consume conditions. Priority howered is Shiro heal that is by far the worst one in game. Even thief venom healing ability is better and you can even share it with allies.

Just really look at my list again and tell me which other healing ability has so many counters ingame.

I made it to diamond by playing soloqueue as a reaper.
Just by trying to win all your 1v1s and trying to make most of the calls.
Also just tryharding + drawing everything on the minimap.

Never had more than 4 losses in a row I guess. The last 7 pips took like 25+ games I guess which was a pain..

Matchamking always trying to kitten you up towards the end. Thats my experience from all divisions pretty much and what i experience now. Was 7 pips away from legendary and now im 15 away.. it pairs me with such trash kittenter mesmers or hammer rev.. Legit.

Its possible. Im 11 pips away (was on 7) to legendary mostly solo/duo q and sometimes 3x if a guildie wants to be carried. Its hard tho.

Its even better boost when i put reflect on! Since i told my ele friend about it he started to enjoy Shiro heal like nothing in this game. For a kitteting good reason.

Rev can switch legends to activate another heal if needed. This one is weak because it’s where we spend most of our time-doing the most damage. If kitten’kittenting the fan, switch legends and use a real heal.

Jalis heal is terrible. 5k hp/30sec and like 3k under poison. Thats definitely going to save me, cant wait to try it out.

Ventari has no selfheal whatsoever so lets skip over that one

Glint requires enemy to be kittened in order to make it work unless you fight vs condi build.

Mallyx is the olny true good heal assuming you have many conditions on you and didnt expldoed yet due to stripped resistance.

I actually don’t agree with my own ideas this thread. The combat needs much more than a fix, it needs a complete rework to prevent future problems.

Why not? This game isnt based on 1v1s. It’s a 5v5. Contesting a point in a matchup unfavourable to you? Get a team mate to rotate over.

This game is not even balanced around 5v5. All i see is class stacking while everything else (mostly) feels useless. Put 2 eles on point and call it a day.

Still viable if person that plays it has a brain. Fighting a necro is much harder tho. Many rerollers actually fails hard on this build and ends up as freekills.

For first and second strike as they are just fugly. Stab as opening is just.. kittened
What i propose;

Mesmer first auto for prep thrust
Hilt bash animation for brutal blade.

Cus its disgusting in current state. Reasons;

- Can be deflected
- Can be reflected to damage you and heal your enemy instead
- Can be dodged
- Can be blocked
- Can be obstructed
- Can be outranged
- Doesnt work well at all outside of UA.
- Pathetic when you need to heal up in 1vX situation or vs builds that can archieve high uptime on stealth, evades, block or just kiting
- Feels more like damage boost than healing ability
- Too short duration
- Interval that kitten it even more

How this ability made it out of beta? Im honest here. I do not understand for a kitten how it passed beta in current state.

I vote for;

6,5k initial heal
Daggers life siphon removed, now they only does damage
Unblockable
Range raised to 1500

Passive craps like diamond skin are bad for this game and have to go..away. They take no skill whatsoever, slot and forget. While were at it toughness/protection should reduce condi dmg too.

Dismantle Fortifications – doesnt remove double stab with taunt. And i believe it was supposed to cc the target if he olny had 1 stab but it doesnt do anything. GM trait..hahh.
