For League Champion you need legendary x2 but for this title dev said you need to hit legendary just once.

Everyone in the WvW community cares about this. It’s why many people are just leaving the game. Toughness doesn’t change anything, you still get hit for 10k and the double hit still 1-shot you even if you have 3k armor.
I have never been hit once for 10+k cor on my rev and i have only..2650 armor. At best i was hit for 7k. I have also seen roaming tempest that i couldnt hit for more than 4k cor at max range so please..spare me this bs. Use proper build or learn how to position yourself.

Oh yeah..i completely forgot that riposting shadows cost next to 0 energy and that we swap to new legend with 100% energy. Keep acting like revs has everything for free and always available. Not. And riposting shadows wont let me get away from mobile class btw. the only way i can escape from fight is when i am not focused.

I wouldn’t mind current Sword #5 scrapped entirely and replaced with damage ability.
What people also don’t realise that Slow from Downed state #1 will no longer affect stomping, which is a slight nerf in 1v1s, but not too bad.
Tbh rev downstate was op due to slow. But now it may be the other way around as #3 sux hard.

Jade Winds has no issue hitting something targets under/above you, behind wall or whatever. Other skills however like chaotic release, shacking wave and so on will miss on uneven terrain. And thats the funny thing – shack wave and chaotic release are basically the same stuff as maul which has no issues whatsoever with uneven terrain.
Then we have CoR that for some reason miss even on flat terrain while tremor will hit just fine and can go down from a ledge etc unlike CoR.
We also have phase traversal that fails to teleport 90% of the time for no reason, many times i have seen someone blind to a ledge etc and im not able to follow him at all cus pt decided to put “out of range” or other bs message and call it a day.

- Grasping shadows this skill is so bugged most of the times you just use it while not pulling anything with you, you need to fix it first. Also cooldown too long to compete with AA.

Sword 2 indeed has to be reworked now. As for shacking wave its need a damage buff by ~120%, other counterattack skills hits like a truck, this one should not be different.

Because Scrapper has EVERYTHING. Read my post. I’m fine with the traits if the Hammer isn’t over the top.
Hammer is fine its only weapon what can compete with other classes weapons in terms of base damage and utility. Also dont forget we dont have weapon swap. Hammer dont make current builds strong its just viable choice
No, you have kits tho. Hammer hits way too hard for the utility it brings. Pair that with high sustain, stealth on demand, passive elixir proc and voila. And if you really want to compare other weapons to scrapper hammer.. just look at guardian/reaper gs that is supposed to be a dps weapon yet its much weaker than scrapper hammer. Hammer is overperforming and is not fine by any means. Scrapper hammer is basically ranger gs on steroids.

If you claim for Jalis to be as “good” as he is then he would be meta over Shiro or Glint. Facts are against you tho. I actually start to wonder if you play on eu cus i was teamed once with jalis/glint rev and he was doing quite well.. in fact i have never seen a rev feeding enemy team that good.
And with enh bulwalk you can still get perma stab from road btw but noone use Jalis for a good reason. Rite doesnt prevent any spike on it own btw, its worthless without protection

Guys.. please. Wait for the review before you start complaining. I will be first to yell at Roy if the changes sux balls but we dont know their plans for rev now. We dont know if they reduce energy cost on wep skills, rework sword 2 to be a burst move or whatever.

They can scrap current sword 2 and replace it with some burst attack like CoR. I hope thats what will happen. Projectile on sword 2 is too slow to the point where damage buff wont do a kitten. It ahrdly can catch anyone escaping with swiftness and is so easily strafed. Im also not interesed in boonbot. Glint is too easy to play so the energy cost need to go up.
I actually want to have viable core rev, s/s+hammer shiro/jalis and i hope its happen this patch. I hope we get 25% move speed in deva adept cus we need it.

Pet damage is silly. A bunker druid should never be able to kill someone and the fact that with pets like smokescale and bristleback they are able to burst heavily is bad. Reduction of base heals (with scaling increase to benefit investment) and base pet damage should be a strong start to fixing this problem.
I have to point out that only the smoke scale and the bristlback do alot of dmg. This is largely due to the other pets having issues hitting moving targets, smoke scale can reliably burst with shadow assault and bristlback can reliably land auto attacks because it is a ranged attack with fast projectiles (unlike spiders).
All pets should be able to reliably hit like thees two, and then their damage balanced accordingly.But yea no one can deny that bristilback’s damage is a bit over the top at the moment

You cant strafe bristleback bc his projectiles homing target. The amount of damage bristle put out is just insane.

No, people should put effort to earn some prestige items ingame otherwise whats the point? They might as well release skins in gemsote for 0 gems so you can have everything right away.
Also getting legendary wings is easy actually. Those that made it to legend will have it finished next season. People that arent as skilled as the “pros” will need to wait a bit more to finish collection. 2x ruby, 2 x sapphire. Its nothing hard at all. It was Anet goal after all.
PvP has no rewards at all compared to pve, so why some people still moan? Also these wings (unless they are dyeable) are ugly as kitten.

It’s fine to let it reduce cool-down on skills, but no other class suffers as much as the Ele when it comes to Chill.

If anything happens to UA, especially a change that makes it single-target, expect it to do less damage.
They could you know..reduce number of strikes to 5 (like smokescale) which results in lower evade frame to make it easier to dodge. I predict sword auto to be nerfed by 10-20% that will be transfered to sword 2. Just what about offhand tho.. hmmm

Aside from skill adjustments, another way we can adjust balance in PvP is by looking at the runes/sigils/amulets that are available for use through the customization panel.
I would be interested in hearing thoughts (with the high-level goals from the blog in-mind) on adding/removing various sigils/amulets/runes. In general, our goal for PvP is to be faster-paced with a higher-level of lethality than what we’re seeing in S1.
I know we’ve had this conversation a few times before, but it’s always important to have this discussion with the correct context in mind.
It would be nice to be able to customize our amulets instead of being stuck with static amulets. This would open more possibilities for players to make more unique builds. Allow for the amulets to be either 3 stat or 4 stat combos.
More variety in stat combos can definitely be a thing – but I don’t think manual stat allocation is in the cards currently.
Why you wont let us mix stats like in pve/wvw? Anyway for stat combo i would like to see power/precision/ferocity/toughness. I also would like to see dire amulet to be added in so that you guys over there finally rebalance condition damage to require more than one stat to deal incredible damage.

As long as the damage nerfed from the auto attack goes to skills two and three to make up for what is lost, that would be fine. That way energy would be required to reach the higher damage auto attack used to have.
Question is.. if sword auto+quickness will remain be the most effective way to dps.
I also hope for ua to and for s/s in general to become extremely 1v1 focused. Shield is good and all but it should be suited more to bruiser/bunker builds while s/s to full glass wrecking chaos. I hope they buff hammer too – change CoR to be like Tremor that has no terrain issues. It never disappear when i cast it from upper ground.

The thing I don’t understand with the warrior, it was always the entry class for PVP, it was easy to do well from the start but now it is most difficult class to play, when and why that changed I have no idea.
I mean look to revenant, you press sword auto attack, you rekt people, you press sword 3, it finds the enemy and it annihilates it, you start AOE Torment spam in daemon stance, people die right and left.
To kill somebody with Warrior you have to hit somebody with your burst skills and with their huge telegraphs, people dodge or you are blinded (which happens %90 of the time) say bye to your adrenaline and wait to die. Or try to hit people 100bs, if they are not downed or stun locked, good luck with it.
Funnily enough we have only 2 skill on 20s CD to stun people, shield bash and head butt, usually people will just kite you until you miss those or they are just bad.
or you play a reaper and just face tank the warrior and lol in his face.

the projectile character of it synergizes with the Assassin’s Annihilation trait. I’d really hate it if they wouldn’t do that anymore.
Your best bet is to change assassin anhi trait to trigger in front too. Meh..if you ask me that trait sux either way.

Tbh it deserved a nerf as there is basically no tell for it (for me it looks like regular attack but then again..i have predator). But rifle as a whole needs buff. Feels weird that gunflame hits harder than killshot tho

I think the problem here is, that we have PvP and WvW players arguing whether the skill is overpowered or not…
In PvP scenarios, hammer is really underwhelming, unless the opponent is blind or your team has amazing peels. In WvW, spamming Hammer 2 at max range is definitely overtuned.
A good middle ground would be a slight increase to cd and and energy cost to make it less spammy. The damage is fine, as it only happens in specific scenarios. The spamminess of it is the problem, which makes it seem as is blobs continuously spit barrages of CoRs as they go.
That, or splitting PvP, WvW and PvE balance, which is what they should’ve already done imo.
Middle way would be to make CoR;

Make it a huge projectile < wvw peeps cannot complain anymore as CoR will be deflect/reflectable

Rev can easily get Might and Vul. up. And IF he hits you twice with it while having the Modificators, its just too much for such a low Cost and CD.
Have to be fixed that it hits only once. Maybe get Energycost and Cd a bit up. But my Issue atm is just the Doublehit.
If you didnt noticed 5k is from max range and then it goes lower as i close the distance. 5k>3,9k to joke 2,7k. True shot hits just as hard as CoR at max distance and unlike true shot you can actually strafe CoR

There are no complaints about it in small format WvW, in a duel you can see the wind up and ur not going to get hit by the final CoR in the chain. You can push to the target and engage in melee.
The problem comes when you have 5 of them at the back of say a 30 man zerg, in fact with hammer how it is you might as well replace every backline DPS class with a rev. Zerker staff eles, get rid of them, DPS necros, cya later, no waiting for wells to come off cooldown, hammer 2 every 2 seconds!!. Replace all of them with hammer Rev’s, they are vastly superior in DPS.
If you dont play WvW a lot you are not really qualified to be talking. T1 backline for zergs or guild groups 15+ is pretty much a chain of hammer revs. You cant strafe and avoid 5-8 hammer revs CoR’ing every 2 seconds, you cant push through 30 people to
get to melee range if you see hammer
like the kittening Einstein’s on here would have you think is the counter.
In fact given the pirate ship meta you cant push at all unless you want to be blown up in about 1/2 a second.

Also notice you are the only one crying about hammer 2. If your complaint is about wvw take it to the wvw forums. Hammer is fine in pve and spvp which are the game modes Anet is balancing on. When everyone else tells you that you are wrong chances are you need to stop replying

It really kills my brain cells to read this after my elementalist was hit by a CoR that for some reason hit twice with one blow, dealing 10k damage each blow- which adds up more than my max health. I was 1 shot. How can you not agree with these two points:

2) Nothing should be one-shotting ANYONE.I know you really want to keep a broken advantage over other players, but please don’t make such an eye-rolling joke response to me. CoR doesn’t only have really high damage, it has game-breaking high damage. Changing Mallyx would be at the top of my list because I used to love it so much, but I guess we should be somewhat realistic here so I’m going to say that I want Jalis fixed up. It should be the legend that just charges in, but instead it just flops.
Its more like Mallyx need overhaul with corruption traitline. Being forced to spec into 3 lines just to make it viable is too funny. I personally want old Mallyx back.

More like.. leave gw2 as it is. Make a new f2p game 100% pvp focused without pve or wvw on gw2 engine (not a good idea cus the engine is crap) with the same combat system and new classes that actually..wont be broken.
