Sorry, but in large-scale WvW at least, CoR is stupidly broken. And I will laugh when the inevitable nerf comes and these groups using Revs as a crutch don’t know what to do.

There’s a reason every single Rev you see in WvW runs hammer… the damage is way OP. Who wants that boring, brain dead hammer playstyle anyways? Contrast with Guard or Warr hammer which is dynamic and fun gameplay.

Druid overall need some serious nerf. That daze uptime is just unrealistic. Tried to play a war now and most of the time i was dazed even in rampage form.. so basically i have spent most of my time running around as i wasnt able to do anything. Idk what they smoked at office really.

Gaile already answered all of this. Spoiling current movies is for malicious intent and griefing. If you wnat to talk to someone about the movie, then why not take it to a whisper, why do it over a map chat? Why are you spoiling the movie now? Its not to benefit, its to harm, hence violation of ToS.

Again, there is a huge difference between a conversation about the movie and just spouting spoilers.

You should see a difference between chat ingame and forum. This forum is called “Guild Wars 2 Discussion” not " Mommy, Someone Spoiled My Movie". So yes, it should be deleted as it has nothing to do with gw2.

Warrior needs overhaul. His desing is outdated and when i look at weapon skills i want to QQ. Traitline also was kittened up with june 23. If you dont use any physical utility you end up without an adept trait in str line…rofl

With current desing you can either end up being UP as he is now, or overbuff him with insane damage/healing to OP state. He will never be balanced if redesing wont happen. For now i see wars only as pve boring class to buuurrrn raid bosses.

Only from swiftness in Glint. One can hope for move speed trait eventually in deva.

I am thinking that he is talking about the Revenants 4 second taunt thanks to Vipers. It’s the longest CC in the game for some stupid reason.

Happens once to single targer “every” 45sec. Its predicable. Use stab and cc to bait it out. Thats what most does either way. I would like to see indicator of this trait on bar tho so both player and enemy can know when its up.

It is predictable however 45 seconds is really, really low. Just look at Reaper’s Protection, 60 second recharge.

However, I think the trait is bugged. There have been times I baited it out and nothing happened, yet, the trait still goes on cooldown. Not only that, it can trigger through walls.

Maybe, sometimes i was wondering where my taunt is but then again with all that random stab/immune to first cc etc idk. Difference between this and reaper protection is that eye is single while reaper is aoe. Last stand is 8sec stab+free stunbreak on 40cd, dh places daze trap that provides stab+aegis on 36 (or 45, not sure) cd etc. Hard to catch stunbreak every 30sec while recovering all endurance and so on.

As you see eye is not really all that broken when compared with similiar stuff. But im up for removing all these passive craps personally. Slot n forget, 0 skill.

Sadly there is no reason to take this build..cus its balanced unlike druids/temp/chrono that also can deal some serious damage. Real bunkers shouldnt be able to kill anyone 1v1. But as a decapper and annoy kitten it works great! As i said its not easy to play tho due to Ventari tablet nature+low heals on yourself. I feel like this legend could be awesome without the tablet (wont happen) stunbreak and no cd’s on skills.

Where i complained about losing? Im really curious and btw i was aware of viper rev long before it became meta. As far i remember even Colin said that elite specs are supposed to only alter playstyle but im too lazy to look for quotes

Im not really good at writing guides so i will just write few words. Its quite hard to play build but close to unkillable if there inst any necro/condi rev around. Not something that will become a meta due to lack of damage but its really fun watching people struggling to get you down. 1v1 untouchable.

Tips;

1.In 1vX situation its safer to not use UA as some smart kitten might get you out of point while his buddy decap it

2. Its better to cleanse conditions with Ventari while keeping staff cleanse for Glint stance unless you need to heal/use extra condi removal.

3. Decapping is fun with energy expulsion. Remember that you knockback people in the direction you face them, tablet position doesnt matter.

4. Staff orbs are you friend. Abuse them as much as you can to not waste energy on skills in Ventari stance which you or your ally will need. Using ventari will is also a good option if orbs cant keep up.

6. Natural harmony is worthless unless you need extra hp burst and you have no time to heal with other sources. Trying to heal with harmony will result in being out of energy quickly.

7. Focusing on ally hp bars may get you killed. Instead trying to focus on healing them its better to annoy enemies with cc. Healing will come in natural way if you stick close to them with ventari will and fragments.

8. Save infuse light for as long as possible. Its a great reset button under focus when your hp is low and shield skills are on cd.

9. Time your block/dodges on cc/heavy focus. Anything else shouldnt be an issue give the fact that this build can facetank a lot of stuff with 3,3k armor+perma protection and heals.

10. Rotate. While your build is a bunker/support you will do a far better job decapping enemy points under druid/ele/scrapper control. They have no chance to stop you from decapping or even capping (if you have enough time.) under their nose due to lack of stab.

11. Try to camp Ventari for as long its possible.

12. Cleanse poison. Obvious thing tho

13. Counters; heavy boon corruption (stab to fear), heavy condition pressure, high uptime poison

Developers said themself that elite spec are supposed to alter playstyle only. Some will cry in january when nerf hammer hit them. I wasnt looking at your history either, all necros complaining about wars since…. forever

And sorry to burst your bubble, but i run my own builds not following the meta at all. This change is a buff to core and nerf to herald line. Upkeep traits doesnt make much sense being in elite spec. And yes, we have slighty underpowered stuff in core that needs a buff, like sword offhand.

Idk about ele for its possible for rev to reach 100% reduction with following;

-Rite (50%)
-Vengeful hammers (20%)
-Determined resolution (10%)
-Protection (33%)

Elite specs are not supposed to be stronger than core. “Facets” fuction pretty much like signets, they even look like signets actually. And yes like an “idiot” i play sometimes base rev and trust me you wouldnt want to run into me and feel ashemed by losing to base rev at all. Not everyone needs herald to be carried. Invocation is profession traitline and should focus mostly on enhancing profession mechanic.

Our “mechanic” traitline is nothing else but fury booster while herald elite spec line enhances upkeeps (original skills for rev like virtues for guard) across the board.

I know Glint is full of upkeeps but it doesnt make sense for me to lock hardening and vigorous persistence behind elite spec. Glint is already a boonbot legend, herald line should focus on boons as thats what Glint is all about after all with these “signets”. Traits that boost upkeeps skills should be placed in invocation. Just my 2 cents.

With the “fix” to ruins (read it as nerf for wvw sake) theres a new problem. Certain ground aoes like lines from teragriff stops CoR completely which in turn renders this ability useless vs some enemies bc for some idk reason game engine counts it kitten target cap..?

I always see the same 1-4 players crying about broken things on Rev in this subforums. Speaks volumes about their skill level.

This is a learn to play thread not a xyz thing is broken thread. Everyone says revenant is very OP so the tools to deal with scrapper and tempest should be there. I run staff + sword and sword with Glint and Shiro and take advantage of my interrupts but there are simply some classes that are tougher than others. I have a harder time against some druids than other revs though.

Power rev should be fine vs scrapper, but scrapper also has all neccesary tools to beat viper mallyx/shiro tho. Its pretty much all down to build wars. Feels weird when i struggle vs scrappers on viper while i faceroll them on base ranger (lb+gs) on a point. That said scrapper sustain is insane for the amount of damage they does and unlike us they dont suffer from being weak to condi at all nor enemies being stupid enough to burst in glint heal.

As in title. I wonder if anyone tested this stuff at all.

In case of Anet logic yes. They dont even aim for multiple builds for each class and instead they nerf something that is op to useless level and buff something that was up to op level cus logic..

I said it before HOT release.. Glint is a boring boonbot. Jalis is fun but completely unviable however i still use him sometimes to pull ppl off wall with taunt.. bad bad Jalis. I wish to have another legend with mobility tho so i can put Shiro with his fail PT (90% fail rate) to sand.

Like it matters..all i see are human females. The moment where i see human female in heavy i cringe. At this point i can understand why they made it gender locked.
