Does anyone know if the level of your character will play a part in which events you can do or how well you do in the events?

No, I don’t think they should allow us to because it makes those with HoT more powerful than those without. It also makes those with more time invested (to get mastery points and experience) stronger than those with less time invested.

I personally think that crafting in Gw2 is amazing. It’s a lot more fast than other mmo’s where it takes like 1 second per material when refining.

Are you drunk? Gw2 is easily the best optimized mmo I’ve played. This game was built for optimization.

Also, as you can see in this thread, people in this game don’t want mounts. ANet said that they would never implement them and they never should.

Thief is going to die because people constantly complain about it, which will in turn cause people to not want to play it.

Because I guess permastealth, high single target burst, and crazy map mobility is weak.

Edit: people will play classes that they find to be fun, regardless of how powerful it is.

Just yesterday there was this dead guy in the water near the quay in Kessex Hills. I quickly swam up to him to res him. On the way there I attracted like 5 sharks, which I had to kill. I ended up dying to the sharks, so I tell the guy to wait there and that I will come back to help him out. I make my way back, kill 6 more sharks, I res the guy and it turns out that he was afk the entire time.

I sent him a mail telling him how much effort I spent trying to resurrect him while he was afk. He sent me a mail back thanking me. The whole event was pretty great.

Mounts wouldn’t change anything, it would just require pressing a button to summon it every time you move.

Yeah I’ve mained warrior for a year now, and it’s getting stale. All the warrior abilities are just so simple and plain in my opinion.

I feel like the Revenant is bit of a mixture between warrior and guardian, which I find attractive.

I will name my Herald “Herald” and place him in the “Herald” guild under the Herald rank.

I’m actually the opposite. I sold all my crafting mats from my storage on the TP. I thought I would start fresh with HoT and my revenant.

Sounds like an assassin warrior variant, build used to work pretty well in an older meta. Main point of the build was to flurry then hundred blades. Hammer/Greatsword has more use in this meta.

Hammer greatsword is glorified, it had its days before the june patch revamp since you could more often use the CC chains hammer provided, whereas now those optimal trait options are gone and once F1 is on CD you’re kited and eat damage. It could do well when supported in a premade setting though, but many run solo in ranked and it just doesnt cut it.

Sword/shield and GS works, but axe or mace over sword also works great. Both are great for 1v1 and smaller fights play as you can keep the pressure/defense up when switching from GS, a momentum you easier lose with hammer on your own vs competent foe.

But this is just my experience!
