An NPC riding a mount doesn’t mean players will ever get them. You can hope, I guess, but I’m fairly sure they already said no mounts ever.

Even small guilds should be allowed to earn enough favor for upgrades. Don’t understand why this shouldn’t be the case.

I have 12 char slots currently since I keep extras around for key farming.

More info about the content of HoT before pre-orders would have been really nice, yeah.

You can’t give the base game to a friend if you already own it.

They rarely are. The sheer numbers involved to make them work are why so few actually get results.

I’m concerned that small guilds will be cut out of this content. Can guilds with 15 people or less enjoy these?

I plan to buy the Ultimate Edition since it’s the best deal of the bunch for me. GW2 has become my main MMO since LOTRO and Rift have been steadily dying out.

Not enough people will do this for it to work. Already a lot of games have been sold if the posts here are anything to go by.

The FAQs page where it was indicated that you’d need to buy the base game ahead of time and then was changed has a LOT of people really upset. They felt misled into buying the base game when all along it was going to be given free with the HoT purchase.

My guild is small – around 10 people.

You can’t buy LS 1 at all. New players are just out that content.

I just love these threads telling people what to do. “Don’t buy this. Stop whining.” It’s like people honestly believe that total strangers are going to obey them.

The price isn’t just what people are upset about. The FAQs for HoT indicated that players would need the base game in order to play the expac, so they bought it. Now the base game is being included for free. People were misled.
